Tainted is the reddened soil of a weary planet and heavy hang the heavens, for long has it been since the calming rains, long has it been since peace was more then a myth. On earth the worn and cracked pavements divulge the secrets of those who still scrounge a living between the opposing wills of heaven and the darkness that lies below.
The Brotherhood (Humanoids): After struggling against the growing waves of hollow as solitary beacons of defiance it did not take long for the Humans, Quincy and outcast Mod Soul’s to form an alliance, and eventually an organization. This alliance has been strengthened through bloodied years and is now a solidified and all encompassing group of all of the humanoids with abnormally high reiatsu. The strongest, most outspoken and ruthless of the organization have risen through the ranks to sit upon the infamous and powerful council of six. The council governs all decisions and laws of the organization and has the ability to vote to change anything about the way it is run or if militant action should be taken. There are two mod souls, two quincy and two humans. If a stalemate during a vote should occur the council settles the matter with a three on three battle resulting in the victorious passing of the winners legislature.
The Syndicate (Vaizards): The vaizard are perhaps one of the most powerful alliances among the world of spirits, and they are widely respected and feared. None more so then the infamous council of seven in which the top vaizards reside. The only prerequisite to obtaining such a position is to defeat a previous council member. Such a challenge may be presented at any time and though the council member may refuse such a challenge, such an action would lead to widespread disgrace. Almost all of the vaizards in existence belong to the vaizard alliance and organization unless they have specifically chosen to remain rogue agents or have gone against the will of the council.
Soul Society (Shinigami): As ever the death gods, the shinigami, the soul reapers… the black robed warriors of celestial judgment reign ever strong among the skies and the ground, yet their power is not as all encompassing as it once was. The 13 protection squads still function as always, doing their alleged duty, which is to uphold the laws of serretai and fight off those who seek to oppose them. From bustling Rukongai, to the rigid academy to the very halls of the Commander General, little has changed internally over the long blood years. Yet there is a different air about Soul Society, for it is no longer complete in its dominance… in its victory, in-fact nowadays it seems to nearly be another faction amongst the warring masses. Still, size and seniority give the bulky behemoth that is Soul Society a distinct advantage over all who seek to overthrow it.
Huece Mundo (The Arrancar): The proud dwellers of Huece Mundo continue as always to fight Soul Society adamantly, their bitter war showing no signs of ending. Long has it been since the creation of the Arrancar and all record has been lost of those now aptly named “dark ages”. Now the castle throne is occupied by the head of the royal family, their bloodline said to be that of the originally creator himself. The most powerful, the most ruthless of all Arrancar, the royal family numbers 3. It is rumored that together they may even be a match for the infamous Commander General.
The Bounts: The Bount have endured the passage of time like solitary rocks among the continuing waves. As ageless as the vampiric Bount’s is their code, only to feed upon the souls of the dead, never the living. For such, they believe, is the natural order of things. But there are some who disobey this code, wrinkled and dicrepid in penance for their transgressions these lawbreakers have grown powerful in the darkness. Alone, despite their strength, the Bounts pose only isolated threats to those around them. But were they to ally…. who knows what would ensue. It is said that a Bount may reach a level of power such that he can bond with his doll, and that in that state they could rival perhaps even a royal espada. Enemy of the living and of the dead, the Bount have nowhere to turn but themselves.
