Yeah, in truth it was a bit disappointing that Kyoraku was able to defeat Starrk with just his shikai, but then again it turned out to be one amazing shikai. Still, only shikai? When Ulquiorra was able to kill Ichigo in his bankai with his hollow mask, yet Starrk was killed with Kyoraku's shikai? It's rather disappointing really, but at least it it really implies just how vast a power gap there actually is among the captain-class shinigami.
I'm sure it will now go back to Las Noches next week, if not really soon seeing as Aizen has given up any hope in the Espada despite his earlier confidence and it's really about time that Yammy's fight breaks up the action because if Aizen fights now then the series is over, seeing just how powerful of an asshole Aizen really is to kill Halibel in one attack. He really didn't have to resort to such douchebaggery , Halibel probably could have still beaten Lisa, Hiyori and Toshiro even if the Segunda and Primera had already fallen, since in both cases they proved to be far superior to their shinigami foes in terms of raw power like Love's shikai and Soifon's bankai, but were beaten by Hachi and Kyoraku who both used cheap powers instead of strong ones.
Now for the anime, why the hell is Muramasa in the Menos Forrest? Is he trying to compare Shirosaki's power to that of other hollows or something? And wtf Hyorionmaru amnesia, that's just... why? I suppose they're just going to make next episode the flashback chapter they released when the 2nd movie came out... or something like that I guess...

Aizen's douchebaggery just reached new levels. He's on my list of "worst villains ever" now >>; There is NOTHING to gain from killing your own (loyal) subordinates, especially during a fight.
For the anime... I have no idea what he is doing in the menos forest, but I guess we might get to see it next week or a little later, hopefully. As for Hyorinmaru, I'm guessing he was taken by force, rather than willingly following Muramasa, but unlike Yamamoto's zanpakutou, not strong enough to "fight back". (my theory atleast)

I'm leaning toward Aizen pulling out the old...Mass Illusion butt rape card. Though honestly...what the hell...Its redicioulous how powerful Aizen is and I know he is supposed to be that way, but to kill Halibel like that, unless its some sort of...I release your power with this slash type of thing...(You all know what I'm talking about.) Anywho I tend to ignore the manga. 2nd thing...did anyone else notice that Hyonimori's shikai was a recycled version of Ichigo's when he was fighting with Zangetsu?

In latest news, Tousen's mask graduated from phallic to actually creepy, Koma's bankai has a very crappy weakness, and the hogyoku's one nasty piece of work since it turned that hypocrite failure into a real threat.
Oh, and Tousen managed to lose some jerkass points with an explanation of his motives. Only some. The ressurection that he's breaking out might help.
On the Shinji vs Aizen front, apparently Shinji's shikai is another sense manipulator. What exactly does it do? Who knows, since in Kubo fashion, we aren't finding out anytime soon. But still.....the Bleach plot is actually moving forward At a reasonable pace.
