Sagara sighed as he walked down the streets of Seireitei. His golden eyes filled with anger and was obviously annoyed. Ok well, maybe he was just pissed off because the person he was dragging was kicking and screaming trying to claw his way back to his room. “OI! Shut up god damn it! You’re a third seat! One would think you wouldn’t have to be dragged to events!” He said as he literally dragged the man across the ground by his left leg. Sagara let out another sigh as the wind swayed his long red hair into his face and into his blue robes. “Damn long hair is a pain.” He said as he moved it out of his eyes showing a cross shaped scar on his face. “STOP SQUIRMING!”

Benzaiten wasn’t saying anything, but no as the other officer dragged him across the road of the Seireitei. He was trying desperately to get back into the safety of his room while the other officer fought him. His body was twitching and convulsing slight as he moved back towards the edge of the room and got his hands around a tile and gripped it for dear life. He clutched it hard and eventually against all of his strength was pulled loose by the other officer and drug down the street again. He eventually covered his face and kept pawing at the ground as he tried to get away from Sagara and other shinigami watched the scene.
“Damn…”
That was all Benzaiten said as he felt the red hot heat of embarrassment come to his face and he felt his body shake. He didn’t want to go to some stupid meeting, he was terrified of being around other people, why didn’t they understand this? He was just a simple person and had simple needs and one of them was to have time to himself…ok a lot of time to himself….ok almost all the time to himself, but that wasn’t so bad was it? He sighed again and kept pawing his way backwards, his hands becoming raw against the tiles and he eventually gave up and began walking along with Sagara, wanting to cuss at the man, but couldn’t bring himself to open his mouth so just let his head hang down and watched his feet as they walked along.

The Gotei 13's Squad 1 was in charge of Command, Logistics, and Administration.
This meant that Akira, as the 5th seat of Squad 1, was stuck with the task of making arrangements for the Seated Officer's Meeting.
The goal of the meeting was to set a charter for a more permanent organization: a Seated Officer's Club. The idea for such an society had been perculating in the background for some time, but more recently, it had begun to boil over.
Akira was polite, even tempered, and eager to please. It made him an obvious target. After being backed into a corner, he was put in charge of making it happen. This meant paperwork.
Eventually the proposal had made it onto the agenda of one of the regularly scheduled officer's meetings. The motion had been deliberated upon off-handedly, and Vice Captain Kuatura Katayama had informed him on short notice that they had been approved and 'please-submit-a-charter-within-the-week-thank-you-very-much'.
Akira had flown into a frenzy of paperwork and applications to secure a room, inform the relevant persons, prepare the agenda, and (most importantly) aquire the neccessary snack-foods.
Akira swept the room once last time, making sure that all was in place. He opened the door to the reserved hall and placed the sign outside. It read simply:
TODAY- SEATED OFFICER'S MEETING AGENDA- CHARTER FOR SEATED OFFICER'S CLUB
Satisfied, Akira walked to the table, took his seat at the head, sighed briefly, and composed himself with a smile. It was times like these he was glad he didn't get tired. They would be comming soon.

Sagara sighed as Benzaiten finally got up. “Its about damn time.” He said spitting, which happened to land in the face of a unranked division eleven guy. The man screamed only to be kicked in the face and sent into a wall. “People need to shut up when they don’t have the strength to back up there words. Fucking annoying little bitches.” He said as they reach the officers meeting building.
As they go inside sagara looks around and says. “Fuck where the first ones here… I hate being the first ones at a party.” He said as he walked over to Akira. “Hey do we have to sign in or anything?” HE said before looking back at benzaiten and said. “DON’T EVEN THINK ABOUT LEAVING!” Before looking back at Akira with a obviously pissed off expression on his face.

A long sigh escaped Michiyo's mouth as he entered the building, his head hanging low. His head moved slowly from left to right, a note of surprise on his face. He raised his head slightly, noticing the other three in the room. He raised an arm in a partial wave, a small yawn leaving his lips.
"Excuse me, but am I early? Or rather, am I too late?"
As he spoke through the yawn, he scratched his chin, reflecting on which question would be the proper one, befuddling himself in the process. After a few moment, he merely shrugged to himself, moving away from the door, sitting himself down, resting his head in his hand. As he sat, he began to mumble to himself, "Why do I have to be here again? It's far too early for this. But.....captain wanted me to be here.....I dunno...." Michiyo yawned a few more times, still not quite awake.

Benzaiten looked at Sagara sadly, then walked out of the way of the door just before Michiyo’s appearance. The sudden arrival of the officer made Benzaiten jump a little and he quietly moved into one of the seats near the corner and sat down refusing to speak to anyone that came near him. He adamantly detested these sort of public meetings and still had his streak of anti-socialism going for him. He tried to make himself unnoticeable as moved his chair closer to the corner as the other three men spoke to each other, he didn’t want any part of it.
He looked up at Sagara again, when he told him not to think about leaving, but the thought had never crossed his mind. He may not have wanted to attend, but he had no intentions of leaving a meeting once there. He was wired to avoid things, not leave them especially if they were important. He sighed again, his body cooling itself and goosebumps began to form as he got nervous. Would he have to speak in front of them? He thought and shivered as if some frozen wasteland. He began to rub his arms together as his thoughts ran rampant and finally his zanpakuto had to come him down.
“Benzaiten, calm down your going to give yourself a heart attack, remember the melody of the past and pull yourself together. You are a seated officer so you need to keep your wits about you and that normally means doing something you don’t want to.”
“Kaichou…”
“Benzaiten you know I’m right.”
“Yes…forgive me Kaichou…I am being selfish.”
He slowly looked up from his inner conversation with his zanpakuto and waited for the meeting to start.

Sayuri sighed to herself as she opened the door to the room where the Seated Officers meeting was being held. No one really noticed her enter, and she liked it that way. She hated drawing attention to herself, the unwanted attention causing her to become nervous. Looking around the room she spotted a corner with only one person occupying it. She quickly walked over and sat next to him hoping that no one saw her.
It's okay, Sayuri, Toketsuhime said trying to help Sayuri's nerves. It's not like they're going to hurt you or anything. Sayuri sighed again and nodded to herself.

Drip...
Drip...
Drip...
Drip...
"You know...I would love to do this all day...But unfortunately I don't have the time.[/i]
A scream of anguish ripped from a man's throat, mingling with the sound of high density static running along the metallic throne he sat on.
Drip...
Drip...
Drip...
"Now are you going to tell me...Or do you want to have that beautiful look of agony plastered on your face for the next 32 hours? It's your choice I'm good with either really..." The sound of the man's blood dripping from around half a dozen gaping wounds was like music to Kukai's ears.
The horrified look in the man's eyes proved he was teetering on the edge of the breaking point. "They're...hiding...In the gardens... on the outskirts of Tokyo..." The man sad between strangled breaths.
Kukai's face lit up as his hands began glowing. "Lovely...Thank you."
Ten minutes later, the man was tossed into a blood stained cell on a pile of worn cushions with his wounds healed. Kukai brushes his hands off and makes a mental checklist of everything that he found out about the runaways. "Hm...I need to get this on record. Hey lazy ass!" the Vice Captain called upwards. When no response came he figured Benzaiten had his headphones on, like usual. He ascended the ladder that lead to one of the two private interrogation chambers the Vice Captain had and made his way down to where the 3rd Seat usually was. "Hey Saijiki I'm talking...to...you?" The stack of paper work that Benzaiten Saijiki was supposed to be doing was scattered about the room as if a struggle took place. "Brilliant..." The Vice Captain said pressing his face into his hand in irritation. "Now what am I gonna do..."
"Um...Lieutenant Shizuma?" A small voice spoke behind him, distinctly feminine and all too familiar.
"Ah...Lily...What can I do for you?" Kukai turned around putting on a warm smile as he bent down to stare at his personal assistant. She was no more than 3 feet tall and had dark auburn hair, looking like a deep copper. Her eyes were dark blue and gazed back at him without flinching. Why would she flinch? Well the blood stains all over his top, face, and arms might do the trick...
"Um...well. 3rd Seat Benzaiten Saijiki was dragged away by Division 6th's Fource Seat Sagara Zurui. He mentioned something about a Seated Officer's Meeting." That was Lily...a limitless source of information.
"Very good Lily...Put the information about the Renegade Shinigami on record. I'll go take care of this...unannounced visit myself..." The Vice Captain turned to go before a tug on his robes made him glance back at his assistant. "What is it?"
Lily looked embarrassed, for whatever reason as she muttered something that Kukai was just barely able to make out. "You might want to change Fukutaicho... "
"Quite right you are...I shall go do that..."
Another ten minutes go by and the Vice Captain is seen walking along the streets of Seireitei, following the trail of reietsu that Benzaiten and Sagara left. After several minutes of walking, with a Shunpo on occasion, he finally caught up with them as they entered some kind of building. "That prick Sagara is getting on my nerves..." Kukai muttered as he waved at a familiar girl he was out with a few nights ago. He entered the building as if he owned the place and tapped Sagara on the shoulder. His face dangerous...it held the kind of expression he had right before initiating an interrogation. "And just what do you think you're doing with my 3rd Seat Zurui?" Kukai said with his Vice Captain badge splayed at his hip.

While all sorts of happenings were always going on in the Seireitei at every single moment of every day, and many varied to such degrees that one would have to question at times if they were all being carried out by shinigami. While in the darkest dungeons of the 9th Division's domain, one could expect to be acquainted to screams of pain and anguish from captive prisoners and the cries of glee from their, for lack of a better term, utterly messed up captors put in charge of extracting what information they could before the pain and suffering became too severe to live on. Those sick, ruthless bastards under Captain Laetitia, they scared the crap out of the Vice-captain of Squad Seven plain and simple.
Squad Seven was a totally different place to visit than Nine. Lush greenery almost all year round, even in the winter thanks to the efforts of Kido, and there was nearly always music in the air. The people also had a tendency to be nice themselves on most occasions, usually trying to look after one another. This made Iko feel right at home in this squad that she was second-in-command of. Sitting inside her room with the door open letting in a breeze in and letting out sound waves, Iko simply found herself laying down on her bed mat and was listening to the music emitting from the machine she brought home from her last trip to the World of the Living. Some mellow electric guitar solo that really set the mood for for relaxing.
She didn't really like to have to get up when she was relaxing like this, but the sight of a familiar turquoise-haired person walking by some ways off caught her attention and distracted her from her lounging to remember there was some sort of meeting today or something. With a yawn and a stretch, Iko hopped to her feet and tapped the power button on the CD player to mute the rhythmic twangs and plucks of music for now. She straightened out her clothing, and spent a moment to comb her silver-white hair a bit with her fingers before making her way to the conference room in Squad One's territory.
She quietly hummed what she memorized of the song she was listening to to pass time on the way and walked into the room where everyone was congregating not much later than Sayuri, and decided to take a seat next to the 4th seat, only just as some of her least favourite people were starting to yell at each other. Squad Eleven people tended to be aggravating at times, but anyone who was associated with Squad Nine by choice was automatically off the list of people whom Iko wanted to accompany on any occasion. Just as the 9th Squad Vice-captain raised his voice, the 7th Squad Vice-captain interjected, not even bothering to stand from her seat, instead resting her chin on her clasped hands as if to act like the mature person in the room who wasn't going to lose her cool if an argument was to break out.
"Don't you be starting anything today, Shizuma, I'm not in the mood to have to spend any more time with you than I have to, and you picking a fight with someone who'll more than gladly oblige won't make you go away for today any quicker."
If things were to escalate further, it wouldn't take much for Iko and Sayuri to immobilize the aggressors with bakudo, and the 4th Squad's present 5th seat would be more than able to patch up any injuries that might arise. She just wanted this meeting to be done and over with in any case now that things had gotten to the point they were at now.

There was a loud crash and grunt as another body hit a wall. Aiko was getting frustrated. Squad 11's seated officers were weak now. They had no backbone. "You fucking cowards... COME AT ME!" Just then a door slid open. A low ranking officer walked up to him and whispered in his ear.
"Captain wants you to attend that officers meeting on the behalf of the division..." There was silence for a moment and then another thud as the unlucky officer went flying out the door he came in. Kaito was agitated but decided it was orders. Sheathing Miyu and looking around he shouted out to the men that were still picking themselves off the ground. " You get up now. I want this place clean by the time Senpai gets back. If it isnt spotless i swear you will regret it." On his way to the meeting building Aiko decided to take the quick way. Now usually he shouldnt use shunpo around the seretei. It pissed people off. Aiko however didn't give a fuck. As he neared the building he noticed a young shinigami entering the building. It was a female with long blue hair. He thought that was odd but didnt think much about that. He could also sense another higher than average level of reitsu inside the building. Maybe he could share a few words with them and have a little fun. After all he was going to have something to drink.
Aiko wandered down the hall to the door of the meeting place. Hewas still mumbling about how his captain made him attend the meeting. It was probably going to be some boring ass speach about not destroying buildings well in the living world. Sooo very pointless. Aiko pushed open the door with his sword. He looked around the room. A couple officers were already here. He didnt really care he was i a bad mood, after returning from his last mission.
Aiko sat down legs crossed and poured himself some sake. He waited to find out what was going on. Though he was pretty sure he wouldnt give a damn.

Benzaiten's body began to shake as more people flooded into the meeting area and he wanted to hide in a corner. He was terrified of them all, but why...they were his comrades he didn't need to be afraid of them. Gathering his courage he opened his mouth to speak, but as he did Kukai barged into the room and the horrified Benzaiten nearly had a heart attack and if not for the quit efforts of his zanpakuto would have fainted. Benzaiten looked down at his feet, ashamed of his paranoid actions and wondered how long he would remain like this...its had been over fifty years since his father betrayed him in his mind and could still feel the sting of each blow in his mind and how much it had hurt him when it happened. He brushed away a tear then looked up and shyly waved at Sayuri and Iko.
He and Sayuri shared the same anti-social problem to a degree and he could usually open up a little more to her when they spoke which was rare and often cut short by his vice-captain. Benzaiten enjoyed her company, but he was often to busy to do anything and almost always buried in paperwork. He sighed again and took out his head phones as Iko walked past him and he waved at her again blushing as he thought about how he would probably enjoy being in squad 7 more as they were more relaxed.
He and Iko shared a pretty relaxed relationship as he was one of the members of squad 9 that wasn't completely insane. He had met Iko one day after following the sound of music flowing out of squad sevens area and had sat down to listen to it under the cherry trees and lush foilage of the area. It was so serene and peaceful that Benzaiten lost himself and eventually Iko shoved him awake and he almost ran away when he noticed the music player in her hand. He, then shyly and almost completely silently handed her a CD in his bag that he had made, she listened to it and surprisingly liked it. He usually runs by her room every other week and drops off another cd that he made with music creation softwear or recorded on his guitar...in which case there are no vocals. He has never entered her room though and usually just leaves a note on the CD. He often wondered how long it would be before they asked to do something harmful to himself though and was scared of being friends due to his past....He sighed and put his hands on his face then let it go and decided to just watch what was going on as Aiko entered.
Benzaiten really didn't like squad 11 as they were the most likely to hurt him and Aiko was prone to overviolence just like the rest of them. Benzaiten tried to avoid him as much as possible, but he had been dragged into two fights with the Vice Captain already, both ending horribly for both of them with massive cuts and bruises all over their bodies and their respective captains dragging them away to the Squad four infermery. Benzaiten noticed him and they met eyes for a moment as Aiko scowled and he quickly looked away and around the room.
The room was simple and well cut out. It was pretty much a replica of the central fourty-six's chambers with tiered sections for seating with polished sandlewood stairs and stone work outcrops for each officer to sit. Every seat was cushioned and provided enough room for every officer to sit and then some should there be a need to. The room served several purposes and was large enough to host entire squads when they had meetings as well serve as a large catering room. In this case it was housing all of the seated officers and there was room enough for them to all sit on the bottom unless they just wanted to sit somewhere higher up. Benzaiten looked around the room and was a little glad he had choosen a seat in the far right corner of the room as it was the most conceled.
"Benzaiten...we have got to work on your people skill....that was all in the past you can let it go now my friend...remember the melody and use it to your advantage...you'll never be happy if you don't!"
"I know Kaichou...I just need more time..."

"Are all these people.......seated officers?" Michiyo mumbled to himself, watching each person intently. Many of these people were truly new faces to him, as he rarely left the protective area controlled by division four. His eyes darted about, observing the other shinigami settle in for the meeting. As he sat, he began to ponder the agenda for this gathering. "An officer's club......It seems fairly pointless, is there perhaps a better reason to call us here?" His mind continued to question his reasons for attendance, bust still believed that he should still remain, at least until the meeting truly started.
"Noz, do I have any other plans than this today?"
"You said that you were planning to train kidoh with some of the unseated members this afternoon, and then you were expected to water the garden for Captain Isami."
"Oh, yes, that's right. Healing kidoh, correct?"
"Correct. Many unseated members wish to see your sphere."
Michiyo nodded slightly to himself, showing his understanding of his duties. He returned to watching the shinigami as they entered the room, waiting for the real meeting to begin.

Akira smiled politely as the seated officers began to shuffle in. They seemed to have various states of interest in the affair.
He mentally muttered to himself 'it was you all who wanted this!'
He motioned towards the snack food 'Please help yourselves while we wait for the others.'

Sayuri watched as more seated officers entered the room with growing paranoia. She wasn't anti-social it's just that she was to shy to really start up conversation with anyone who was to loud or outgoing. Sighing quietly she looked next to her and when she saw Benzaiten wave shyly at her she smiled gently.
"How have you been?" she asked in her soft voice that most people had to strain their ear's to hear.

From the time he had sat down to the the time he looked around he had drank 4 cups of sake. This wasnt a problem, Aiko drank, Alot. He scanned the room. Being the newest Vice Captain of the entire Gotei 13, He really had not had anytime for mingling. He did however have time for drinking and fighting with division 11. He wondered if there was a connection.
As Aiko looked around, at people he didnt know he started to notice that there were quite a few shinigami there that seemed....shy. Another thing that didnt bther him but he found odd. He figured if you could slay a hollow you could talk amongst friends. As he looked he noticed one particular person. It was a shinigami with headphones on. It reminded him of a vizard he once fought. It was one of the few fights he lost. Thankfully the man didnt have time to "Finish" the job.
Aiko sighed. He was already getting sick of Captain work. It was rather annoying to always have something to do. Never any down time for him. Aiko tapped Miyu's hilt. She sensed how he was feeling and gave a "Its worth it..."
Aiko gave his usual shrug to his zanpakuto, then he stood. He looked around at all the shinigami and cleared his throat loud enough to gain the attention of most of the people around him. Then with a hint of anger he spoke.
"Anyone mind telling me why we are here?"
