Sagara sheathed his sword as the Fourth division member started to heal him. He was use to there touch, he never backed down, and so far he hasn’t gotten killed over it. AS the wounds where closed Sagara pushed the fourth division member off him. “Sir! There is still much that needs to be done. You have lost a lot of blood!” “Then let it be a lesson! So it doesn’t happen again.” He yelled back, the fourth looked anger but didn’t fight as he went to attend to Aiko. “Thank you Aiko. I haven’t had such a challenging duel in quite some time. I believe there is much I can learn from you.”
Sagara was a proud man, but not a moronic one. He knew Aiko was his superior, so he showed him respect, he knew he was more skilled then him so he wished to learn from him. HE had proven one of Sagara’s most challenging opponents yet, and that was saying something considering how many times he fought with a higher class individual. Luckily they liked him enough to let him live, though he had had his share of disciplinary action under Captain Yamato. May he finally rest in peace..

Aiko stretched and let out a long exasperated yawn as the fourth division female shinigami began to operate on his burns. it only took a few minutes before his wounds were healed but during those four minutes Aiko realized how god damn boring it was around the Soul Society without anyone to fight. at least Sagara had kept him entertained.
"“Thank you Aiko. I haven’t had such a challenging duel in quite some time. I believe there is much I can learn from you.”
Normally Aiko would have said one or tow words and left it at that, but now he was a Vice Captain looking at a Captains position and he had to act like one. he nodded and agreed with Sagara "It was a good fight Sagara, maybe errm i can learn some more about chess from you in return?"
Aiko let a small smile show on his lips, even as much of a hard ass as he was he did make friends and Sagara didn't seem to be no push over. In return for the fight Aiko invited the fourth seat out for a night in Rukongai. the two were originally going to go out, have a drink or two and call it an evening. What it turned into was them drinking...drinking...drinking...Aiko drinking.... Aiko fighting... Aiko getting in trouble...and more drinking.

Sagara laughed as he listened to Aiko. “The most important thing about Chess is knowing what style they will play before they start and adjusting yourself for that. Offensive, defensive or hybrid. Once you can judge your opponent it’s a simple matter of finding holes in his plans just like in that duel where you got me from the back.” Sure there was more to it, but that was it on its most basic form. He didn’t want to piss Aiko off by seeming like a smartass.. So he left it at that and took him up on his offer for a night in Rukonagi. And with two hot heads, one who had a affinity for fire, drinking drinking and drinking turned into fighting and fighting and more fighting.. Huzzah for fighting drunks.
