Hello Bleached Souls, how are all of you?

As the remainder of you all know we've had a tough last few weeks with the dwindling activity levels and the seeming disappearance of our two admins. With that in mind several of us have come together and decided that rather than giving up on the site we shall instead see this through and hold things together until they return. It is unfortunate that we have no power over the new arrivals and their acceptance but if we can try to be friendly to them so that they might stick out the waiting period that would be just grand. More importantly however is what to do with ourselves, active RP's are to a minimum and those that are around tend to have no direction or direct impact on the long term functionality of the site.

Put bluntly, if we want to keep things rolling we need to break out of our little groups and interact with everyone. We need to work together and come up with a plot that we can all interact within (that will not directly influence the already planned plot since it may get back on track at any point) so that we can rip free from the stagnate circle we have fallen into. Thats what this is for, I, nor anyone else at current has the ability to change the site, accept new members, manage the rules (something everyone should keep in mind and act with moral fiber despite) or in general get anything back on track but we do have the power to stop a complete crash. So please if anyone has any plots they think would be of interest to the board as a whole please post them here (As a Note: There are several backup plots that have been considered but seeing as this will be a board endeavor its fitting that everyone should have a say and that it might be voted on to come to a decision).

Remember, a board is only worth the sum of its members drive to express their willpower, interactivity and creativity so lets all work together to make that sum massive. I hope your all having a great day and wish to hear from you soon!

I'm behind you 100% on this, although I dont really have any major rp ideas myself I could probably add something if someone else does. Hopefully Harm and Gahrok will be returning soon enough.

Count me in. Don't know what character I'll throw in yet but i do have a plot idea. Since there have been no Bounts accepted so far. I was thinking that we could have a gathering of bounts led by either a sole or group of level 3 bounts. Since It is a rare occurance, soul society probably wouldn't hesitate to try and send as much force as necessary to quell the bounts. Humans also since Bounts eat them would rally against them, That only leaves out hollows unless someone can think of a way to squeeze them in other than low leveled ones to serve as punching bags basically or plot movers for the bounts I'm stumped cant really see the two siding with each other. But hey, thats just a rough scenario I'm extremely open to alternatives.

So come on. Let's get this site unified, let's show that we wont let it go down. Not without a fight. I do wish to see the return of our admins and also hope they will add to this plot whatever it ends up being as well as the main storyline. But In theyre absence We can't leave ourselves to just pack up and leave this site one by one. ! month ago this site was really becoming something great and if we all stay diligent we can be even greater.

I wouldn't see why the hollows would have to be left out at all, seeing as the bount are often eaten by hollows since bount are stronger than humans and only a few bount actually have dolls. The fact there were practically no hollows in the filler seasons was just the fault of the writers I assume.

Well I don't forward to waiting another 4 months for Takeshi to graduate but I'm sure that if the plot in Tokyo goes well the students can get out earlier, and I wont be able to use my other characters until Harmony and Gahrok get back. At least I can try to get somethings done around here and be optimistic.

Well Bleached Souls has never had a “One place only” rule so Takeshi could be elsewhere without the other RP ever having to end. On the note of not having any other characters to work with I think that if Harm or Gahrok don't return by say the end of the weekend (we will give this post at least 3-4 days to garner attention and pull an idea together since anyone whose still around should have enough time to respond by then) then maybe we can just go ahead and if the character is of acceptable quality allow them to RP and await “real” processing by an admin at a later date. That way members such as yourself who only have one character (or none) can join in.

Let it be said I am not trying to be controlling, I just think its unfair (and losing activity) if we don't come up with an answer to possible members. So if they don't return within another week or so we may need to speak about organizing a member based “acceptance” protocol where we agree together on new characters.

As for this plot concept its not a bad one, give me some time to think up a back bone for reasoning behind it. Honestly though including Hollows is the easiest thing that can be done in an RP based off Bleach, their run by instinct for the most part with a few key player exceptions and so a gathering of this much spirit power is an obvious buffet for them. I think theres also the interesting concept of the Arrancar having a use for another species that consumes souls, imagine a being with an Arrancars strength but with the versatility of a doll...just a thought. Anyway I'll think on a good back story for the night and come back with a premise to see if it appeals to the rest of you tomorrow.

While I don't have any additional ideas coming to mind immediately, I thought it'd be just as important to simply respond to this thread with my support. I've got two characters that are willing to get involved!

What you said about applications, does that mean that additional characters will be "allowed" as well.

I will try my hardest to come up with a new plot line, but i may not have anything for a long time. However, if i come up with anything, i will just edit this post, and state it thus. I WILL help save this site!

I think the idea of establishing a sort of commity for character approval would be capital for the survival of the site in the administrative absence. And as for Takeshi he's still in the Academy and I'm not sure how exactly being a student works here, would he be able to just wander Seireitei aimlessly during vacation or something? It's not like students are members of the 13 Squads yet so he'd be limited to Rukongai I'd guess. Once the Tokyo plot is finished I'll probably propose a time skip for the first year students to be able to get in more active posts then taking classes and training.

As for a plot idea, I could see a bount army posing a very interesting situation:
Seireitei vs Las Noches vs Brotherhood vs Syndicate vs ... idunno... the Collective?... (or whatever them vampires wanna go by, seeing as I'd go with Brotherhood but that's already taken)

I was just saying that in the event that neither Harm or Gahrok show back up (I'm thinking if nothing happens by next Wednesday then we need to give it more serious thought) then we need to develop a temporary system for accepting new profiles. They might not be “officially” accepted but it would mean that new members could get a character in on the action and that we could accept new characters that were needed to continue the plot or just keep us interested.

Normally this is conducted by a single admin, however in this case I was thinking we could endow all current members who have respectable experience at this the ability to look. The idea would be that you need 2-3 “elite” members (either those voted into the position to do this or just those of us who have been around and know the RP, thats to be decided as well) to vote yes on your profile to pass as you would from an admin. I realize many of you want to get to accepting characters since several have been sitting out for a while but seeing as this is certainly a BIG step I think its only fair to give the admins a little more time before we rush off trying to turn this concept into a reality. If however someone has an argument as to why we cannot wait any longer I understand but this is certainly a topic that needs broader discussion than one or two people...never hurts to be prepared though so thats the idea.

As I see it the students have more freedom here than they would have in reality, that way they can get caught up in more hijinks and such and face greater peril than they would ever get near in reality. So basically if you can come up with a reason why you would be allowed to be there, then lets just say you are allowed. As for the time skip it is not a bad idea, but for now since thats something thats far off and hopefully something that will never need to be considered if Harm returns lets just let it lay.

Back to the plot concept though...

Yes back to that. I recalled that at one time Harm had stated she did not want the Bount to be in a organization like this, that the Bount with dolls were rare to begin with and for them to be together as they were in the show was a very rare occurrence. Thus I have concocted a premise that gets us the result of having many Bounts to play with as well as the others without encroaching on her desires for the Bount in the event she returns mid-RP.

The Arrancar (Perhaps not even Las Noches, maybe a NPC driven group of rogue Arrancar since most of the Espada/Numeros are either inactive or never taken in the first place) have developed the ability to turn Bount into specialized Hollows which grow at extreme rates into a population of Arrancar that still possess the ability to use Dolls and suck souls which increases their powers at a much higher rate than average human Arrancar. They develop something similar to the bijuu from the canon that contains high concentrations of reiatsu which they send to prospective Bount they have located, if these Bount become addicted to the power they leave a trail that takes them all the way back to the source where they capture them using the special seals that transform them and it is their hope to create a species of super-powered Arrancar to rule all with.

Of course with such a high concentration of Bount, the number of people that would have to have been used to produce the “bijuu” duplicates and the Arrancar running around the shinigami are going to take note. Then when they attack the fight eventually spills out into the real streets since thats where the Bount are being captured and the humans get dragged in, this means ANY character could find a way to be part of the RP. Its a bit rough but its a start, if others think it sounds good tell me and give me any ideas that might expand upon it.

My sentiments exactly. And I like the premise GK If anyone else does come up with a different story though post it, nothings set in stone, i dont think so at least......... but yeah lets get it going............"now what character shall i use?"

Me and Benjos have already alluded to a plot that we were developing, which explains the sudden disappearence of Gatobah from Las Noches and why he's now come back... It just came to a halt because Gatobah's plot line is intensely woven together with Maname's, who was in a thread with Desperado to establish her orders to observe then remove Gatobah, but Desperado pissed off halfway through claiming he had no muse when there was still material right in front of him! Im not bitter... honest.... Anyway our idea was going to be along the lines of Gatobah and Benjos having found a legend about an ancient being/ hollow which goes faaaaaaaar back before pretty much everything, and here about several artifacts it was said to have, then Gatobah found evidence of the existance of one of these artifacts and its possible whereabouts (hence just upping and leaving Las Noches without much word) and now he's come back having found it/ more information. The reason we were being secretive about it is that its so powerful it has the potential to screw everything up. Anyway, obviously an artifact of such power would be of interest to soul society, and because of its reiatsu unlocking potential or similar, also of interest to pretty much all the other races/ factions... hence everybody gets to be in, going off looking for artifacts etc etc, lots of potential for adventures, i guess it could be similar to a Grail quest in a way...

Anyway the Arrancar are now pretty screwed over... what with King of the Hollows Desperado AND now Gahrok's Uno Espada Asmodeus now gone, theres pretty much no one in control, and that in itself would couse havoc, everybody grasping for power... but their sudden dissapearence has got to be explained away some how....

Well I haven’t responded here since Harmony’s return. However to put some finality to this topic I suppose it is obvious the considerations we were making have fallen silent at this point. Regardless if anyone is still interested we were making headway in creating a major plot topic so if there are others who care to continue along that train of thought and make a story for a larger group than our usual one or two people stories just say so.

Otherwise I will just let this post die with dignity.
