Not bad at all. A bit on the light side but thats probably just the scanner (or maybe I draw too hard ) but either way not bad at all. And I wuvvles the second pictures hands, the one area I still have problems drawing proportionately. I usually find a subtle way to realistically hide the characters hands...wish I could draw them that well. Anyhow it'll be fun to see how you progress.

I like these alot. I've only self-taught myself how to draw manga and am so far unable to do a good job at female characters or faces in general. I really like the 1st one's face and the 2nd one overall. Perhaps I should upload my own drawings to share with you all.

Thanks! I don't think my hands and female characters are THAT good but I appreciate the compliments They look light because I didn't use a scanner, the fact that I don't have one or know anyone who does complicated things a bit. Instead, I have to use a digital camera and move the pictures to the comp. I guess I could draw harder or use markers but I'm always afraid of screwing up I'm sure I'm not saying anything new, but for hands and female characters the best thing is copy them from other drawings for a while until you get the hang of things, at least that's what I did. And yeah, you should upload the drawings, its always fun to see and compare other's creations with yours.

I have done two more drawings, this time involving characters I will (or won't...you'll see what I mean) use in this site. Sadly, I still haven't made one for Yasuo even though I've had the time to try; the thing is that for some reason that I still can't quite see, I can't draw a decent bandana, I even tried copying one from other characters, but nothing, not good enough! Anyways, one of the drawings some of you already saw; its Anselm, for the Ragnarok RP. His eyes don't really match if you look closely and I could have spent more time getting into detail with the clothes and the headband if I just wasn't so comformist. I am proud of the hair, though, its the first time I try one of those crazy spikey reach-to-the-sky hairs and I'm quite satisfied with it. i255.photobucket.com/albums/hh160/Sodloc/067.jpgThe other one is an unfinished sketch of a character I plan on applying in this site in a near future. It is going to be an Espada, so I don't know if it will ever make it to a story, and I still have to wait for the applications to be open, but I just wanted to show the drawing. The hair is based on the anime version of Zolf J. Kimbley (Fullmetal Alchemist), but I'm afraid it looks more similar to the original than I intended; as for the clothing, you'll understand why they are like that when I make the application. When I started teh drawing, I didn't know what to draw for the mask fragment, that's why its not in his face; that thing near his chest is supposed to be it, only it should be on his forehead. Either way, I'm quite proud of it, although you may not see why because of the bad angle of the camera and the ilumination (I seriously need to get a scanner.) i255.photobucket.com/albums/hh160/Sodloc/033.jpg

I'm sure you already heard this a thousand times, but its just practice. Here I have another raid of creations to share! First off is Alainne, a character I am applying for the Ar Tonelico RP. I don't really have much to say about her, since the truth is she's not really a 100% original creation. She is heavily based on the character Teresa from the anime Claymore and if you check you'll see that they differ in only details and style. What can I say? Teresa was a good character and I really wanted to draw a similar character, plus I felt like her appearance would match the one I was planning for the RP: AlainneAfter I drew Alainne, I realized my style is a bit expressionless, so I decided to investigate other styles to see if I could find another one I liked and could exploit better. This style was taken from a "learn manga" book I've had for a while, and the truth is I already had some practice with it. The image is not copied and, although I think the final result was good, I'm not implementing it because I don't find the eyes are easy to draw on different angles, especially front...but look how cute she is: My most cutest creation!!!And finally, this is my first sketch of Yasuo Funanori, my only Bleach OC in this site so far. I also imitated a different style for this drawing, particularly because I needed it as a base to draw the bandana; I like this style much better, so I may give it some more practice. For those who read his profile, this is probably not what you were picturing Yasuo to look like(and for those who watch One Piece, he's not a clone of Zoro...I don't even like that anime ), but have in mind it is just a sketch, I probably have to work on making him look more pirate-like: Yasuo Funanori (First Sketch)

The first one is really pretty. I like the positioning of her eyes. The touch of the earring and her hair goes together really well... Awww! *o* The second one is really cute. I can see how hard the eyes are, though. The cutesy style takes a lot of practice, and sometimes is just really hard to do at all. But it's an adorable drawing. :3 And the third one...gah, why can't I draw like that! I need to go practice some more, now. The entire picture is awesome. ^0^

Yes, yes, that's the way, the more obsessed you become with drawing the better!! Guess who got his evil hands on a scanner!! Too hard? Me! It's not really mine, its actually my aunt's, whose house I'll be leaving today, so I won't have access to it for a looong time. If that wasn't enough I can't figure out how this infernal piece of trash works, so the drawings look kinda dirty (that or I erased on them more than I thought...). Either way, I only scanned two drawings out of the ones I already showed, since they are my favorite: GarveYasuoAnd of course I got new stuff! First of all, this is a copy I made of a drawing I found of Hollow Ichigo using the google image search. So here you have Hollow Ichigo...'cause we all love Hollow Ichigo, don't we?: Hollow IchigoNext up is another copy I made of the character Nami, from Alive, The Final Evolution (quite a decent manga, the second part is getting kinda weird but the first is worth checking out). I only changed her expression and position a bit, so it's not like that makes this one any less of a copy. I did this because I also like the mangaka's style (the artists are two different persons, but I just don't remember their names right now), so this style is also a candidate for the new one I'm developing: NamiNext is another drawing I made related to Yasuo's history. First it was supposed to just be the biggest image by itself as a portrait of his younger days before he went through that "piratization"; I wanted him to look more fragile and even a bit of a whiner to make a greater contrast with his present personality, hence his expression in the picture. Anyways, during the making of it, I thought it would be interesting to put a vague image of his current self as sort of a foreshadowing of who he would later become, so I added him with his bandanna and stronger look back-wards on the right; the torn cape was just because I was testing how it would look on him, of course I'm not adding it to his usual clothing, but I do think it looks cool; the arms look weird, so I don't like that bit. Then I thought it would be good to practice drawing monsters and decided to draw a small drawing of Slasher, the Hollow responsible for Yasuo's scar (all this is explained in his profile, by the way) and there, before I realized, it looked like the first sketch of a poster or chapter cover. I then added the 9th Seat that Slasher killed (again, make reference to history if interested) on the left to go along with that idea. In case you didn't notice, I used the same drawing style as in the first sketch of Yasuo to keep practicing with it. Anyways, this is the poster for "The Yasuo Chronicles", expect it in theaters this summer!: The Yasuo ChroniclesThis is a drawing I started a long ago as a joke that I recently finished. Basically characters with joking expressions according to their personalities. The one on the left is Yasuo, drawn like that because of his easily angered personality; the hook next to his hand was an idea I had to include it every-time he got mad to go along with his pirate appearance pun, but I didn't include it because it seemed too random and I wanted to hear your opinions. The one on the right is Garve, who I drew like that because he would almost all the time have an "I don't care, I'm doing my own stuff right now", bored attitude; of course that aspect depends on whether he finds people interesting or not. The one on the middle is a quick, very bad sketch of Ulquiorra to represent me (my avatar when I started the drawing was Ulquiorra), and that expression is supposed to be due to my amazing laziness and lack of activity...yes, I'm working on fixing that, geez: Funny ExpressionsFinally, this is an original character I made for a story I'm considering drawing when I get better a drawing full bodies (which I am practicing now, by the way); it is unfinished for now, though. I just thought I would show it because his face and clothes (which by the way were invented by me, believe it or not...I still don't) looked ok for now: Character CreationAs always, reviews are encouraged and appreciated, though I might not respond until I upload more drawings.

Lol, yep, that’s one of my personal favorites, even though it’s a copy. *staaaaaares* Yo, dudes and dudettes!! I found a scanner and some free time, so I thought I would share some stuff I’ve made while I was disappeared (only the decent stuff… if you only knew). The first I made quite some time ago. It is basically just a dude looking cool. I didn’t really use any specific reference other than Reno’s suit (FF VII). I basically did it because one of my friends wanted to experiment with coloring drawings in photoshop (I am not showing the final result because he has it and I still haven’t asked for it) and since I’m such a good friend, I made one. Since it was just an experiment I didn’t do anything out of the ordinary, just a close-up face with nothing complicated such as hands and stuff. The funny thing is many people say he looks like an anime version of me, which, unfortunately, I don’t think is true.: Cool DoodThis one is more or less as old as the previous one, I believe. I was still very obsessed with Garve and his background, so I figured I would try to draw Teya (make reference to Garve’s history if interested). I don’t know how to judge this image. I was still testing different styles so that’s why she looks kinda different from the usuals. The issue, however, is that I was trying to create a cheerful, tomboyish girl, but some people say she doesn’t look 100% like a girl (when having the breast area covered, that is). I was planning to draw a hand doing a tilted peace sign, but after a few failed attempts I gave up. I do plan to come back to it once I get better at drawing hands: TeyaI’ve continued to try to make character creation pages, basically just drawing the same character in different positions. Failed attempt of course, but still interesting to look at. The top right one is a joke that I found short and funny and since it went along with the kind of personality I was planning to give the character, I included it. Many people have asked if what she has in her hand is supposed to be a magic wand…it’s not. It’s supposed to be a stick like the ones teachers use to give lessons. The one at the center bottom was too rushed and unfortunately didn’t meet a good ending: Character CreationFrom here on, the drawings are more recent. Lately, I’ve become quite an addict to playing Monster Hunter (for those who play, I think it’s because I’m finally getting into the more complicated part with the S-series armors and all) and it kinda showed just a little bit in this drawing. Of course, it’s not that much of a heavy influence as the characters don’t carry unrealistically heavy and ornamented armors, but the weapons and some parts of protection do seem to be made out of giant animals…right? Anyways, I made this for my art class, and that’s why the scan doesn’t look as good (its in a huge sketchbook that doesn’t fit in the printer and open it is too much in the way) and why it has something written at the bottom. I don’t think you’ll understand my ridiculously horrible hand-writing, but if you’re curious it just says that I am interested in drawing something manga-related (which unfortunately is not happening): Monster HuntersI liked how the last one turned out, so I decided I would expand on it on my personal sketchbook, so I created another character. It is unfinished, but this one is a female following a very similar pattern to the ones above. According to the story I had imagined for them (yes…I went that far) she would be a badass hunter that could defeat any of the ones above with a wooden stick without much effort: Female Monster HunterThis is my latest creation. I was a little bit frustrated with my inability to create attractive female characters, so I decided to try again with that in mind. I’m not sure if I accomplished my objective, but I definitely like how this one turned out, especially since it didn’t take me many tries. I would go as far as to call it one of my personal favorites. I think maybe the right arm is a little bit too long, but I don’t think it looks that unnatural, and many people have to take a second glance to actually notice it. Nonetheless, I might work on that and some other details in the close future: Girl in a Kimono

Now more than a fellow RPer I seem like a dude advertising his own crappy art in the site. I blame that on you guys for hating me and making sure all the RPs I join or create in this site die. Anyways, I'm going to stop posting my lame stuff here now. I remembered a while ago that I have had a deviantart account for over a year now without using it at all, but lately I've been posting some stuff there, so I invite you to check that out here. If you guys also have an account, you can pass me the link and we can keep in contact, maybe do some co-projects too or something.

Says the guy who owes me a post since January... -_-;; Clearly you don't remember, but I started a thread for us to RP and give Arrancar some activity. It's been the latest post in Hueco Mundo for a long while now: See?
