Oka chuckled "not back to square one, learning more about how your powers work" he said and jumped back "hmmmmm" he said and began to think "how can I fight a power like this one?" he whispered to himself

Go on the attack, then we can end this and find your Kuro-san, correct? Kyoumen stated. You're right, i have to go on the offensive. Moving his foot slightly to the right, he prepared, then dashed quickly at Oka, swiping at him with his claws, staying close to make sure they hit their marks. Then after a flurry of blows, Banjin disappeared into the ground, nearly without a trace, except for a flash of color that appeared to be like dirt......

Oka growled "I hate shadow striker types" he shouted as he swing his fist at a tree, as he hit it, a minor explosion of kinetic force burst from the impact, making not only the tree crack over but also was pushed slightly back "fight me face to face" he growled as he grabbed the tree and swung it around, like he tried to hit an invisible opponent, ending the swinging moves by hitting the tree hard into the spot where his opponent had disappeared down into

As the howl of a distant hound cut through the chilled air, a curious face glanced in that direction with a grunt of query, as two grey eyes did their best to pick out the source of the pressences he could sense. There were signs of distress, and it caught his attention, the raitsu's were fluctuating violently, they had to be in combat to drain and build so much power. The masked man in a blood speckled hakama fell back lazily and the shadows seemed to swallow him, a few moments later he reapeared several miles closer to the combatting pair. Alto was impressed to realize that one of the firey beacons of spiritual power that drew him closer like a moth to a lantern, was coming from a regular human. The vizard had never seen a human manifest such an impressive level of power, though by comparison, Alto considered him to be little of a threat. The second entity troubled Alto however, there was something both sinister and unnatural about the way that one's aura felt, and he definitely was not shinigami, arancaar or vizard, and as far as ALto knew all the quincy were dead, so it likely wasnt one of those either. A second slide into the shade brought him within sight of the competetors and the vizard watched silently, seeking to learn what he could about these anomalies. It was about a minute before he realized that something was amiss, and it wasn't just the strange raitsu. Struck by an odd thought, Alto reached out towards those who he was watching, and abruptly his hand stopped as if it had hit something tangible. "Za Hell?"he growled in his heavy voice and strange accent, hands outlining the object n which he could see the two combatants. It was as if a pane of glass hung before him, containing another world completely within it's pane. There must've been some trick to gaining entry, as Alto had commonly seen such extrusions of reality before particularily when dealing with powerful spirits and hollows. He would then focuss his own raitsu into a dull spike that extended from his fingertip, and atteemtpted to pierce the barrier with his own spirit energy.

Banjin had just begun another assault when he felt a strange and powerful reiatsu press against his own. Stumbling he stopped and looked around concerned. What the hell is that? he shouted inwardly to himself. Beats me, but whatever it is it's trying to come in. replied his Doll. "I dont trust it, lets go!" he ordered Kyoumen. "I apologize, but we must cut our skirmish short!" Banjin shouted to Oka. Opening a portal beneath the human's feet, the Bount dropped him uncerimoniously into the World of the Living. "Itwasgreatmeetingyoubye!" He shouted after Oka, closing all the portals in the area. "Lets go, Kyoumen" Banjin reiterated, fleeing across his realm to a dae distance before returning to the human world, walking calmly down a forest path. The last thing that had popped into Banjin's head before returning the Human to the world of the living was Another clue....

As the sheet of broken dimensions began to shimmer and wane, Alto knew that he'd had some sort of affect on the planar arch. However, as it vanished altogether the vizard found himself wondering if that had been the most intelligent experiment to perform, as it seemed to have resulted in the loss of what he was studying. Alto was always inquisitive, and it was a defining feature of his personality that made him constantly strive to better his understanding of the world around him.
"So that's the score, we kill hollows, and their souls are purified. At least for the first few missions that will be your primary task."Lieutenent Judai Buramosa said as he finished explaining the basics of the afterlife to his new student, "When you aren't doing that, you will here at the Academy studying your techniques, or in the Rukongai performing peacekeeping tasks and upholding the law. It won't be easy, you only have a short time to grow accustomed to it all before the pressure really turns up. Why are you smiling?" Judai knew his friend and student well enough that when a grin displayed itself across his lips he took it as a sign of something important. Alto shook his head and looked out over the Rukongai from the Shinigami watchtower. "Zer is so much about zis vorld zat I do not yet know, eet is like to be young once more. Eet excites me and raises mine spirit." Alto responded, his slight grin speaking of only a fraction of his emotion, carefully contained within him.
Well if the fates thought that a minor set-back like his specimen vanishing was enough to stop Alto in his quest for knowledge, then they were about to be proven sorely wrong. The only thing stronger than Alto's drive to learn the secrets of the universe, was his dedicated focus, and it did not take long for him to pick out a raitsu matching the one of the spacial displacement. It was faint, very faint, and Alto found himself perplexed as to how his object of inquiry managed to travel such a distance so quickly. His shadow came to life once more and greedily consumed Alto from the ground up, the tall man vanishing into a pool of inky black shade. He'd step back into being at the base of a young cherry blossom tree, and found himself briefly distracted by the sudden abundance of neon pink in his range of veiw. Through the cloud of cream and warm orange ALto could see a male standing by himself, he looked normal, but Alto felt a strong unnatural aura about him, and without saying anything he had already drawn his blade.
"AUCHTEN! Ja you over zer! Eet troubles me that you vould try to flee, eet suggests to me zat you are guilty of a tresspass, nein?" Alto boomed in his resonant and heavy toned voice that was rough enough to polish steel, pointing his index finger at Banjin as his fingers played with their grip on his blade, "So tell me vat eet is zat you have done to veight your guilt so."

A German? Kyoumen asked telepathically. Be cautious, for this spirit shows a great amount of Reiatsu. "Aye. i shall" Banjin replied to his doll, then looked friendly towards the newcomer. "A German, eh? I can tell by your Accent. Greetings to you, then" He said to Alto in German. He had lived there for a decade or two, so knew that language well. "Why would you think I had guilt to flee from?" Make sure you stay hidden he told Kyoumen, who was concealed in one of his hidden jacket pockets. Aye

"Ahh very good," Alto said as he crossed his arms and returned to speaking in his first language, "Just by being able to see and hear me you are special, and I am no common spirit myself. Shall we just say that other such inclined beings might not have as much patience for me due to prior actions." Alto raide his left eyebrow as he spoke, his distant grey eyes studying the shapes of Banjin's attire and gear, wondering what materiel it was made of to move in such a way in relation to Banjin. "Does the word "Shineegahmee" mean anything to you? If it does then you have every reason to be fleeing, but I can tell from your pressence that you aren't an empty soul, or modified soul, and certaintly not any soul reaper I have ever met." Alto continued, his vocabulary in German far superior to his english or japanese and thus allowing him to convey broader concepts with more ease, "It is strange to me that the moment I showed up, you began to leave, and experience has taught me that there are never coincidencs. So tell me what you think, is there something to what I am saying, or would you imply that I am a fool making nothing from a coincidence." Alto was on edge, he didnt feel good with high powered spirits near his home. Even if they weren't hollows or soul reapers, the very existence could attract the attention of ftwo fueding factions ALto had wanted nothing to do with.

"Ah yes, shinigami i know very well, my good friend." Banjin replied, trying to sound as friendly as possible. "I have met many a Shinigami in my time, young man. How old are you, no older than 200 i would expect. And the reason that I do not flee is because i have seniority of age over you, and you seem like one to respect your elders." Smiling broadly, he communicated to Kyoumen. "I want you to be ready for anything, alright. Be prepared to use Awasekagame Hodou and Kyoumen Tsukuru at any moment." Turning his attention quickly back to the Shinigami in front of him he continued. "And i fled because someone tried to barge into what is my realm alone, i assume that was you. I am very protective of Mirror Realm, which for a time was my home. I assume that you know what that is like"

"I have no respect for anyone, respect is something you work extremely hard to earn." Alto responded coldly in German, taking another step towards the stranger, just to see how he would react and hopefully give an idea of his true intentions, "Strange place to leave something you are protective of I think. OUt in the open where anyone could have their way with it. As for attempting to break in, I was examining it and it did not look favourable for you when you began to retreat immediately following." The vizard turned one phrase over in his head, not knowing why it had caught his attention. "I assume you know what that's like." Alto thought carefully before continuing, as he did when others elluded to his nature and way of thinking. Such was uncharted ground for even him and he made a point to say something that could not be taken the wrong way. "You assume I know what it is like to want to protect one's possesions. At one time that might have been true, then I died, and not just the rules of the game, but the entire game itself became far grander and more terrifying than they had ever been. What I found so troubling was that before my death I knew so little about my world and what I knew I did not understand." He said gesturing gallantly with his free hand as the other lay on the hilt of his blade, "This is another situation where I know something that I do not understand. I know that the item I saw was created as a place for you to be in peace. However when I arrived you left that sanctuary for this world where I could easily pursue you. Perhaps this will better explain my query."

Banjin sighed outwardly at the stranger's words. Alas for the lost ways, where elders were still respected and revered by those who were younger. Well as they say, young men may think old men are fools, but old men know young men are fools. he thought to himself. Not reacting to the Vaizard's approach, which he knew that the man was by that point, he continued speaking. "Well, I meant that you probably knew what it was like to defend your territory. I knew many Vaizard who were like that, though i have no idea what happened to them after i left their presence. And the truth is, i left the Mirror Realm because it is quite easy to get lost in there" He scratched the back of his head and looked a little embarrassed. Be cautious, i can tell that he is a very loose canon even when it comes to Vaizard Kyoumen warned. "I know, but if i go to the Mirror Realm right now, he will most definately chase after us, so i must try and make sure that he doesn't, hopefully without using force."

Alto's expression hadn't changed since they had met, and it did not look as if that was going to happen any time soon. His unflinching gray gaze leisurely studied the mysterious spirit, and the vizard began pacing back and forth as he thought on what he had been able to pick up on. "You underestimate me then, a fault of many, now not so many." Alto said ominously, growing quite tired of the double front he felt as if he was receiving, "I suppose I am somewhat territorial, but I see it differently. Your presence here suggests a number of things to me. One, Including you and the othr spirit I saw, there is a troubling indication that the shinigami might become interested in this area, something I don't want. Two, you are fresh out of a prior conflict, and likely weakenned. Three, You are an evil spirit that I have not yet encountered and I should be ready to fight."
Kill it! The risk is too high, We must kill it.
Alto twitched as if something had flown into his eye, as an invisible force pulled on his strings. "I've decided that I cannot simply allow you to walk away." Alto grunted, as he raised his hand and pulled his bandages tight with his teeth, "You've failed to convince me that you're purposes are benign, furthermore you have implied I have below average intellegence, and have actually sent across a distinct impretion of illwill despite your words." Alto pointed Keitoken, his trusty blade, at Banjin, as a phantom wiind picked up and kicked the vizard's bloodied cloak flying, exposing the Leuitenant Symbol obscured by it's owner's essence. At the same time a crushing sense of unease washed over the forest, as the wind caused a cloud to dampen out the sun. "Now you must prove to me that your motives are none of my concern, draw your blade and we shall see who owes who, respect." Alto snarled, his gray eyes filling with an eerie yellow light.

Well, this guy is definatly crazy Kyoumen said. We should probably leave now, there's no way we can reason with him. "How DARE you call me an evil spirit!!!" Banjin doesn't take prejudice against him very well. "Just because my people feeds on Spirit Particles and some, and by that i mean nearly none, have ever fed on human souls, i not being one of them! So you want to fight me, then FINE!!" He yelled, speaking to Kyoumen. "Drop us into the Mirror Realm." Kyoumen complied, dropping the two into the spirit realm through a large portal that they made on the ground. Pulling out his gauntleted hands, he yelled over to the Viazard "Now it's your move!" , covering himself in Mirror.

"What secrets do you hold?" Alto said with a sing song voice, as he casually paced back and forth studying the new area, "Do not hate me for what I do, it is the way of things that the weak submit to the strong, and in turn the strong support the weak. " His pulsating gray eyes with their glow of warm yellow for the first time seemed to come to life, and one could tell right away that he had gone from a casual stance to that of utter alertness. "You should not look at this as a conflict, for I assure you that is not how I see it." the vizard continued, dropping into a defensive stance and performing a short kata, "I see this as an opertunity to study a strange entity that I do not understand, and as a test of my mettle. While one of us might not leave here today, it is nothing personal." Alto glanced back to Banjin with a hollow expression and drew his blade across his own palm. "Do you remember," he began as he exposed the leaking vitae to the bount, "the color of blood?" With a sudden blast of wind emitting from his body as his raitsu spiked suddenly, casting the area about him into chaos and causing the air to whip so violently that it seemed he was the center of a hurricane. Alto's eyes quenched their glow, and with a flash of light that was enoiugh to blind, his weapon vanished, replaced by a long chain and a pair of heavy steel balls. Holding the chain in the center, Alto spun the weighted chain over his head, building momentum untill speed caused an ominous drone to fall from Keitoken. Alto charged, the steel balls effortlessly leveling the saplings aboiut him as he aproached Banjin at an intimidating speed. With a heavy blow he gouged the earth where his opponent stood, and without a moment lost he was back into his titanic circular swings.

Opening a portal behind him, he jumped through, coming back into the mirror realm right above the Vaizard, slicing at him with his clawed gauntlets, falling into another portal that put him on the opposite side of the clearing as far away as possible while still in eyesight. "Well, there's no going halfway with this guy, i guess for a hope of final peace we must fight him now." Banjin told Kyoumen, as well as himself. Keep doing that manuver, and you'll be ok by the end Kyoumen replied.
