Training(Phase Three) (OPen to all)

[Akuhei the Demon of Death]

OOC: OK , this will be training for phase three of Kaiju's mask. Its open btw.

Kaiju looked out over the small field he had picked for his training ground. It was large, filled with green grass. It was surrounded by a forest, where the sounds of nature could be heard. To the west there was a lake. its blue waters glistening in the light of mid-day. Little dragon flys could be seen flying about. And to the east, you could see the large skyscrapers, the tops towering over the forest.

Kaiju pulled his zanpakuto from its sheath, and put his hand over his face. His mask started appearing, then it finally covered his face. "Destroy, Akuhei." His blade then became serrated and longer. His reiatsu spiked.

He went through all the steps, then shunpo'ed and started using wild strikes on the trees as he ran past them, cutting some in half, others missing whole chunks. He continued using shunpo, wearing himself down. He could feel the strain his mask put on him every time he used his reiatsu.

"[4] White Lightning." A tree exploded in an explosion of blinding white light. He could feel his control on the mask slipping. 'No, just a little longer.' Akuhei became lodged in one of the trees, and the leaves quickly turned to yellow, the bark turning to black. Kaiju pulled his sword from the tree, which fell, not able to support its own weight. Kaiju's control on his mask finally slipped. It seemed to crack, then fell to pieces. Kaiju fell to his knees, he would rest for a minute, then try to continue.

Roddo had a habit of keeping track of everything going on around him, if ever asked he would say that he 'caught wind' or 'drift' of the situation. Most of the Syndicate members have been quiet and suttle, besides Roddo there was another scurrying about. He had been watching Kaiju for some time now disguising his reiatsu to be that of a lesser being, he looked on with curious intent as his fellow council member trained to keep his hollow in his control.

Roddo watched from a distant tree but then suddenly jumped from the tree as he seemed to glide across the air toward Kaiju. He landed softly behind his 'subordinate' of sorts and placed his right hand on his shoulder ... " Mind if I join you ? " The words were spoken in the utmost calming tone as he walked slowly aroudn Kaiju and stood about 5 feet in front of him. " You must learn to master that hollow inside of you as a simple pace, rushing will only overexert yourself and lead you to no gain ... " he said as he looked over to the nearby trees that Kaiju had demolished.

Roddo's eyes narrowed as he slowly waved his right hand in the direction of the forestry, a slight breeze picked up around the area as it seemed to flow in the direction in which Roddo's hand was waved. " Learn to control your attacks, controlled power is always greater than uncontrolled destruction .." he said as a row of trees began to topple, the trunks were clean cut as though someone had put an axe to them in one swing.

"Use the basics to control you hollow, shikai ... kidou ... waste of time and energy. Conserve that energy and focus it into basic fightin skills, you will get a lot more out of your hollow if you do so ..." he spoke as though giving the resting Kaiju a lesson, Roddo always took the natural role as a teacher t those around him. He had been training for untold centuries, it was his favorite thing to do ...

To say Kaiju was surprised would be an understatement when he felt Roddo's hand on his shoulder. When Roddo asked if he could join, Kaiju replyed with, "Of course, Roddo-taichou." He then listened to the small bit of advice Roddo gave. He was not surprised, however, when the trees fell, as he had seen Roddo's power once before. He finally stood from his resting position.

He looked around at th once beautiful field, which was now scarred by burn marks and felled trees. He really did a number on it. "So, Roddo-taichou, you up for a spar?" He asked. That trees lifeforce had actually helped him in his rest, so he was at about 90% now. He knew he would probably lose, but they say you cant gain anythng from winning all the time. He already had his zanpakuto, so if Roddo didn't want to, he would continue his training, though in a more controlled state. His hollow had gotten to him that time.

"I don't see why not ..."

Roddo said as he shrugged in response to Kaiju's spar invitation, training was something that he never turned down. If he hadn't planned on involving himself in his fellow 'council-men's' training he would of remained hidden. "Sparring is my favorite form of bonding ... for males at least." he said with a slight chuckle as he took a couple steps back and assumed a basic stance. A slight breeze began to blow as his began to raise his left hand out on front of him, he faced his palm up keeping his elbow at his waist.

Placing his right hand on his midsection gently, Roddo waved Kaiju on with his left hand ... "I'm ready when you are, fight smart ... and no holding back." he said as he waited for him to make his move, Roddo wasn't concerned with the fact that he wielded his zanpakuto because he preferred to start barehanded no matter the battle. It was how he learned from every battle no matter the distance in power ...

Kaiju smiled as he heard Roddo's reply. At least he wouldn't have to train by himself anymore. He laughed as he heard Roddo's comment about bonding. Kaiju then slid into his own stance, not drawing his blade, thinking it would be fun to fight hand-to-hand. "No bankai then?" He more stated this then asked it. He would rather not either of them be injured or killed in a simple sparring match.

He stood still for a second, thinking of a way to start this fight. He would rather not have to fight for an advantage, so he had to think of one before he started the battle. He knew Roddo could destroy him if he just went in without a plan. 'Come on, think Kaiju, think.' He never really was good coming up with plans. He could hear his hollow laughing at him in a deep part of his mind.

He charged Roddo, his maroon robe flew behind him like a trail of blood, then jumping into the air, he did a couple of flips to disorientate Roddo, then he came down with his foot, attempting to have it connect with his head. He also brought his other foot up, in a sort of scissor kick.

"Bankai"Roddo thought to himself as the words left Kaiju's lips, he couldn't remember the last time he had to actually go that far even in a life threatening situation. Even though a spar in bankai would be interesting, he didn't think it would be a good idea or necessary for today's festivities. As he continued to wait for him to make his move, he could see the deep thought that he was in before he made his initial move.

With the extreme amount of centuries of battle experience and patience Roddo had, thinking on the spot was never an issue. Except for zanpakuto types and moves he's seen just about every basic melee fighting style there is. He slowly looked up as he noticed kaiju making his descent .. " Too over-exaggerated. " he thought to himself as he raised his right forearm to block the initial kick.

The second kick wasn't anticipated but it wasn't a suprise either, Roddo quickly brought his left hand down toward kaiju's incoming foot grabbing his ankle. In one motion he let down his right forearm letting the initial axe kick to come down on his shoulder, with his free right arm he sent a strong straight punch aimed for Kaiju's midsection while keeping his grip on his ankle giving him less of a chance to counter.

Kaiju was not surprised when Roddo was not effected by his attack. In fact, he was expecting it. He knew that Roddo was experienced, that was a given if your on the council, even more so if you lead it. Kaiju respected Roddo, and knew if anyone could help him gain complete control over his hollow, it was him.

He twisted his body, just enough to dodge the punch, and also to get his leg back. As he twisted out of Roddo's reach, he threw another kick at his head. He missed, but was able to spin out of Roddo's striking range. He landed on his feet, before smiling. "That was a nice warmup, shall we actually begin now?" He pulled out his zanpakuto, and got into his stance before once again rushing Roddo. He used shunpo to get behind him, before slashing at him.

Again he could hear his hollow laughing at him. It was telling him to kill Roddo, and he would get more power. He could feel its essence, trying to overtake him. It knew this man could help, help make it submit. It didn't want that, nobody did, even a hollow. He was able to keep its essence away from him, but it would take alot of his concentration.

The kid had some skills, anybody else would of took the punch and held their ground until the next strategy crossed their mind. As Roddo had moved his head down slightly to duck the kick he kept a close eye on Kaiju's posture, he was very good at deciding and predicting his opponents next move mid-battle but ... "That was a nice warmup, shall we actually begin now?" It had been a while since Roddo could actually even think about getting serious with an opponent let alone a comrad, but he decided to see where it leads. He knew he couldn't go full out, but he would flex his bones a bit ... for what is a litle spar without a little fun.

Roddo smirked a bit as he watch Kaiju wield his zanpakuto, thoughts ran through his mind trying to decide the next move. This wouldn't be his first hand-to-sword encounter for he preferred his hands anyday. As Kaiju made his approach, Roddo quickly scans over his body and posture again even at the speed he was going. He slowly positioned his right arm behind his head positioning his fist right behind his next, as his comrad shunpo'd and attempted to slash a very small cyclone seemed to come out the top of Roddo's fist. As the slash made contact with what appeared to be just wind they were locked in a strength battle, as the wind in his hand dispersed it was revealed that it was actually Roddo's zanpakuto.

Roddo wasn't a fan of using a zanpakuto this early in anything, whether it be basic training, sparring, fighting ... whatever. But to him, this felt somewhat right. "Wow, isn't this a suprise" spoke Fennikusu as their swords were in a stalemate. "Yeah, i suprise even myself sometimes ... you may even have some fun ... what do ya say ?." Roddo thought to himself actually speaking to his inner hollow, "You know i welcome any excitement, for i don't get much." fennikusu spoke anxiously. "Don't worry you'll get your turn, it's only a matter of time before his inner gets anxious and becomes harder to control." he said in response as his mind quickly returned to the matter at hand as he pushed back Kaiju's zan slowly, he brung his zan quickly back toward his back to create some space between the 2 forces.

As that gap was created, Roddo quickly tapped the front of Kaiju's blade with his own to keep his comrad's attention on keeping the appropriate posture of his sword. Then he ducked and turned his body 90 degrees to the right while aiming a powerful elbow to his ribs, Roddo put a little extra something at the tip of the attack to prevent any unnecessary damage but if landed instead of breaking a rib ... Kaiju would fly in the direction of the attack. He stood and created some distance between the 2, "Speed and strength only compliments a good strategy, for if this spar was about either ... it would of been over already." he spoke lightly referring to the distance between their strengths in battle as he positioned his zan in front of his body, but sideways as he awaited Kaiju to make his move. "This is starting to get interesting ... "

Kaiju was surprised by the cyclone of air, but it then revealed that it was Roddo's zanpakuto. When Roddo got some distance between them, he positioned the tip of his blad enext to Kaiju's. Kaiju waited for the next attack, and when it came he was ready. When Roddo spun his body 90 degrees he was able to back up a little, but the elbow still hit, flinging back, but only by about 10 feet. Roddo then increased the gap.

Kaiju smiled. This was turning out to be fun. He would have a bruise from the elbow, but only a minor one. He got a little angry at Roddo's unintentional jab at his strength, which usually would of never happened. He raised his blade before once again charging Roddo, this time with much more speed and strength. Though he didn't conciously think it, he wanted to probe to Roddo that he wasn't weak, and that if it was about either, it would NOT be over already. He jumped into the air, bringing it above his head once again, and once he was within distance of Roddo, he swung it down with as much force as he could muster. He also brought his leg forward, so if Roddo blocked either one, he would still be injured.

In his mind, the hollow was gaining more control over Kaiju, slowly breaking through the wall that separated him from that control. "Soon, this body will be mine." The creature knew it could not let Kaiju gain more control over it, for if he did, it would be MUCH harder to gain ANY control at all.

Roddo smirked as he watched frustration and anger begin to slowly rule over Kaiju, his smirk slowly came to a serious expression as he watched his comrad jump in the air and attempt a strike ... "You'll never learn, against me ... air is your weakness." he said as he zanpakuto disappeared within the wind once more. Roddo then stuck his left hand snug within his pocket, a strong wind began to swirl through the area as he drew back his right arm and thrust his palm forward toward the direction of Kaiju. With the strength he had put behind the attack, he would definitely be blown away ... but Roddo wasn't finished ... he had a point to prove also. He wanted Kaiju to learn to control his anger and frustration no matter the situation, but his 'subordinate' had to get past a few obstacle first ... his inner hollow.

After Roddo sent his palm forward he brought is back to it's original position but this time in a form of a fist, he then thrusted his fist forward again sendin an attack soaring toward Kaiju in the form of a fist directed toward his abdomen area. This attack is invisible to the untrained, and if it hits its target it would be enough to knowck the wind out of his fellow vizard. Roddo was beginning to grow impatient, he had been holding back his full strength for some time now ... and will continue until he sees otherwise need. "It'll be any 2nd now." Fennikusu spoke referring to the tainted reiatsu of the other. "Yeah ... we'll see what happens now" Roddo responded as he placed his right hand into his pocket and waited.

(Actually it did, lol, but I decided to change it, hehe)

"You'll never learn, against me ... air is your weakness." Fuel for the fire of Kaiju's anger. Only the hollow chipping away was what caused Kaiju to get angry. Normally Kaiju was quite hard to anger. "No, it is only your strength." Said Kaiju after he flew back, and was able to twist and land on his feet. Kaiju did have a trained eye, and could see wind coming for him. He was able to jump out of the way, and landed once again.

He could see Roddo growing impatient, though he didn't know why. He could feel his own zanpakuto growing impatient, the damn thing always was impatient during battle. "Release me to shikai at least, I want a taste of this man's blood." Kaiju sighed. "Destroy Akuhei." His zanpakuto become longer, and serrated. Its blade became black. He could feel the life force of some of the plants around him being sucked into the sword from about a ten foot radius around him. Some were already growing black and dying.

He shunpo'd behind Roddo, and twisted swinging his blade. Roddo would at least get a scratch. Roddo should of been able to feel his life force already being sucked from him. If Roddo stayed withing Kaiju's range for about 5 minutes, maybe less, he would soon start to feel tired, and his vision would start to blur. His reaction time would slow, almost like he was drunk.

Now things were starting to get interesting, Roddo didn't really expect Kaiju to dodge his attack but it wasn't the end of the world. He hadn't even landed on the tip of the iceberg yet, he looked on intently as he watched his opponent release he zanpakuto in it's shikai state. "I think it's time for you to stop playing around with this boy, he will learn nothing by you holding back on him. Stop being to nice ... "Spoke Sanbiki as Roddo shrugged in response to his ranting, Roddo hated dull moments in battles but it also allowed him to connect more with his opponent. Also allowing him to think of strategies and to teach depending on the opponent.

Roddo's eyes would be smiling behind his mirror shades if it was ever possible, a small smirk widened slowly across his face as he watched his subordinate shunpo. This wasn't anything new to him, opponent after opponent, spar after spar, everything seemed so common ... it was like he was replaying every battle in his lifetime over and over. Suddenly Roddo's eyes began to glow a cloudy white, as a small brisk wind began to blow. Even though swung with such ferocity, Kaiju's attack came to an abrupt stop, it was as though his zanpakuto had hit an invisible wall that constantly began to push back with an equal force of pressure.

Roddo then removed both hands from within his pockets, "I might as well tell you why your attack didn't reach me, this is a technique of mine 'Kaze-Shinzui' ... at your current level you will not be able to break past this defense unless i allow you to." he spoke calmly, he knew exactly how to push his button and he knew that this would probably be the last straw but Roddo wasn't done. Roddo could see what was stopping his opponents attack but unless he allowed them to see it it was practically invisible. He could see Kaiju's ability very slowly seeping away at his aura, it wasn't enough to make a difference but it did something none the least.

"Until you get past this obstacle, your abilities will not affect me ... now it's my turn." he uttered as his expression changed back into a serious one. "Kikazaru .." he mumbled as he let down his ability and ducked below Kaiju's swing. Roddo's outfit seemed to tighten, but in reality he was muscles were just expanding. He quickly turned 180 degrees while still low to the ground, and while mid-motion grabbed his fellow vizard's wrist. Roddo then quickly stood to his feet and began spinning in circles, faster and faster he began spinning till he felt the momentum and his strength was enough to get his point across. He let Kaiju's wrist go aiming in the the direction of the group of trees that lingered in the area, them momentum alone was enough to send him flying. "If that wouldn't draw it out, i don't know what will ..." Spoke fennikusu ...
