Vaizard Phase (And a few others...)

Hey, planning to join this RP, looks great by the way, i just have a few questions i would like clarification on, pardon me if these are answered anywhere, Ive only read through the orientation.

*Btw, I am an anime guy, and still have 6 more episodes, so if the fist of these are answered there please just tell me

1. What is up with the Vizard phases? Is this an RP unique thing, or what? I am kinda torn between a Vizard and a regular shinigami, so this is the most important.

2. Is it ok to make up Kidou when creating a character? And can Vizard use Kidou?

3. Does the username have to represent the character at all, or can it just be some random made up thing. And do we need to make sep. accounts for different characters?

Welcome to the site newbie... sequel of numbers. Though I did not create the site, I'll gladly accept the kind words of approbation.

1) The Vizard phases are meant to show ones level of control over their Inner Hollow. The greater your control over your Hollow is, the longer you mask will remain intact and the sooner you'll be able to repair it to its former glory after it shatters.

2) - (a) Yes you can make up Kidou. However, whoever is looking over that profile (usually Zhiel or GK) will no doubt ask for modifications if it comes off too strong, or simply outrageously impossible to even exist to begin with.

2) - (b) Yes Vizards can use Kidou. They can also use a few Hollow abilities as well, such as Cero. To be a Vizard, one must have at some point been a Shinigami. As a Shinigami, one would then be expected to know at least a few Kidou. Gaining an Inner Hollow strengthens a person (so long as they can control it) so loosing abilities you once possessed would really be strengthening.

3) As for the username representing the character... I go by the name of Tagz... do you see a "Tagz Armada" or a "Destructo Tagz" listed somewhere in my list of awesome, awe-inspiring, and overall awing characters? No. You do not really "HAVE" to have a name that matches. And you also don't need separate accounts for all your characters. One will suffice. Though as a more personal opinion, give a link to your character's profile at some point, it's a bitch to have to search for. Again, personal opinion, not a must.

Hi, I hope you do join our RP, and I would be glad to answer your questions.

1. Very importantly, in Bleach a vizard is a shinigami who has acquired the powers of a hollow by having in inner hollow within his or her own soul. The phases refer to the amount of control one has over the inner hollow's power, where phase 1 would be having control but only being able to draw out the power for a very short period of time, phase 2 would be the point where the vizard has confident control over the hollow and can draw out even more power for extended periods of time, and the 3rd phase would be the point of total domination over the hollow to the point where the vizard can draw out large amounts of power for a long period of time.

2. There is nothing wrong with inventing your own kido when creating your own character, so long as they have an appropriate amount of power and difficulty to use corresponding to their number. A level 20 hado spell (destruction) would be in the range of a basic fireball spell whereas a level 70 bakudo spell (binding) would be akin to wrapping a target in large chains and pinning them under a giant boulder, a much more difficult task. And as far as we know, yes, vizard are able to use kido just like regular shinigami, in fact according to the canon of Bleach, one of the vizard happens to be one of the very greatest kido-users in the entire series.

3. Of course not, your username is whatever you want to be known as, regardless of your characters. And for the record we definitely allow you to have as many characters as you wish wish your single account, having separate accounts for different characters would not only become horrible to keep track of, but also horrible for us to stay in touch with one another as a community.

1. Oh, that makes sense, I thought maybe it was becoming more powerful while using the mask, but that makes a lot more sense.

2. Good to know, I hadn't realized Vizards could use Cero, etc. I figured that the kidou would be checked, anything that can be made up like that would definitely have someone abuse if they could.

3. Okie then. Btw, Newbie(#s) was a bit of a joke, sort of a jab at those who put ridiculous amounts of numbers after names

Ill probably just make a Shinigami, maybe at some point ill take stab at "Vizardifying" him.
