Helloooo~! (With bonus questions~)

Um....hi *Waves* My names Elimyx, and I've recently stumbled across this site due to link-wandering (Like what happens when the average person looks at Wikipedia...stupid wiki-walking....I just wanted to look at stuff for my history homework, and instead I end up on something about adrenalin!) Erm, whupz....rambling again.

Anywho, I ended up here. And, well....this is the first time I've come across a Bleach RP site that isn't either A) Dead, or B) needlessly complicated to join. So, is it OK if I take a crack at joining?

Aside from that...I've got a few character-related questions, due to me being an idiot and not comprehending some stuff.
First off....erm...I couldn't find a character sheet anywhere ^^; Should I take a look at someone else's and use that format? (With my own stuff o' course. I'm not a copy-cat) **EDIT: Whoops. I just spotted the template thing in a sub-category. MY BAD, SORRY D:**
Secondly I'm a bit confused on the points/techniques thing. Is it possible for me to start as a Class 2 Shinigami, or do I need to start at the bottom and work my way up?
An lastly (for now) again with the training thing...is it possible to start with any skills? Just....I was always under the impression that a Soul Reaper couldn't graduate from the Academy without their Shikai. (However, if its different here and you start from scratch, I'm cool with that~)

....Erm, sorry for the long post of doom. Thats all for now, and here's hoping I can do this right.

Welcome to the forum. You can start as any rank of shinigami you want, as long as the position you want is open in that division, and your application is good enough for it. You will be able to assign your character the right amount of skills or abilities depending on the starting rank, there is no need to start as an academy student.

As well, no, a shinigami is not required to unlock their shikai to graduate from the academy. In fact as far as we can tell unlocking ones shikai really isn't as common as some might think, it seems to be one of the pre-requisites for gaining a Seated rank in the Gotei 13 suggesting that it is a difficult affair (perhaps not as much so as unlocking a bankai) and thus something only a couple dozen might possess. If we say that every seated member has a shikai that would be at a minimum 130 shinigami with shikai, I'd say its safe to bet there are more than that but I also imagine it isn't the majority of shinigami who possess it.

Thanks for all the help guys~ I've gotten a start on my profile, and based on what you've said, GoldenKitten, I'm gunna leave the training bit till last...along with the RP example. I'm worried about the example the most outta the bio, as although I can post paragraph, I'm more used to small stuff. It'll take me a few off-screen tried to post like that more naturally, but thats another story.

Ah dont worry about that, when i got here i was writing with *s every now and then. You will learn a lot by reading threw apps of the higher rank guys and read some of GKs posts to shed new light on how rping is truly done and you will find yourself skyrocketing in writing capabilities.
