Name: Warring Forces
Genre: Science Fiction/Fantasy
Length: Semi-Long, depends on how many are interested.
Rating: Probably a high 4, to mid 5.
Synopsis: Set during an era of relative peace and prosperity, the Jedi Order is flourishing, and is spreading it's teachings across the Galaxy. Many people are now benefiting from their acts of kindness and their willingness to teach and preserve the ancient histories of the universe. A rather large influx of force sensitive children from many different races and societies have been selected to be trained in the Jedi Ways over the past decade and a half. For most, it is a good time... And yet at the same time, many wonder how long this era of peace will last...many still remember the fear and destruction the Sith had wrought upon the many worlds in an attempt to overthrow the Republic and the Jedi Council, leading to one of the Jedi Civil Wars between the Dark Side, and the Order. Following the powerful Sith Lord Darth Aran, many Jedi had fallen to the Dark Side and thus began the 5 year war that would shake the very core of the Galaxy.
It has been 30 years since the final defeat of the Sith on Korriban, but yet there is a disturbance in the force that worries that Council, a tension among the energies of life that should not be there. The Council has sent a small group of their Order to investigate the disturbance, the source of which seems to be the Smuggler's Moon of Nar Shadda.
Okay, I don't know how many will actually be interested in this, but regardless I thought I should post it because I've been itching to do a SW RP. You can be pretty much anything except a Sith. Bounty Hunters, Smugglers, Jedi, Soldiers, anything really. I'll have my character up later. A Jedi Obviously.
Name: Pretty Obvious... Race: Again obvious, you can be whatever. But please, no Wookie Jedi...or Mandalorian Jedi either for the matter. Twi'lek's, Humans, Zabrak/Iridonians, pretty much anything. I don't care you just need to have it make sense. Class: Are you a Bounty Hunter, a Soldier, a Jedi? Anything really within reason. If you are a Jedi, state if you are a Consular, Guardian, or Sentinel, and what rank you are. [i]Alignment: Basically where you stand in the whole Good Vs. Evil spiel. While you don't HAVE to be a good guy, I don't want any truly evil characters. Trouble and mischief makers are fine however. Age: Again obvious, just make it match whatever race you are. If you don't know the lifespan of your race, I suggest looking here: http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Main_Page
That should have all the information you need.
Description: Describe your character. Match their race obviously, if a Twi'lik describe skin color and head-tentacle style, clothing, you know the drill. Wookies should have fur descriptions, Zabrak's tattoo descriptions, you get the idea.
Personality: Describe what kind of person they are. Likes, and dislikes, how they react to certain situations, etc. And I am including Jedi. No matter what George Lucas might say, it is quite obvious most Jedi have some kind of emotion, even if they can hide it or subdue it most of the time. I have no problem with a Grayside character as long as he's not an "evil" character.
Equipment and Possessions: What kind of possessions does your character have? A blaster? A vibroblade? Most Jedi carry lightsabers.
If you are a Jedi, you need to go very indepth with your lightsaber, or lightsabers as it may be. Describe what style your character uses. A single blade, a double blade, or a pair of blades? Other variations may be used, be creative. Describe the color of the crystal, (what's used to produce the actual blade). This color usually reflects what type of person they are, blue is generally used by Guardians, the protectors and the ones most skilled in using a lightsaber aside from the Weapon Masters. Green is used by Consulars, masters of using the Force. They are in tune with the force far more deeply than all except the Jedi Masters themselves. Sentinels generally use yellow sabers, they are the most balanced out of all the Jedi trained equally in both the ways of the lightsaber and the force. They seek to keep balance. This is a general guideline, for what is most commonly used, however there have been instances where a Jedi would use another color. The lightsaber reflects who they are. The only restriction is no red sabers. We are not playing Sith here. I would prefer them not to be too outlandish. I thought the lightsaber pike was pretty cool. As for the 3 meter lightsabers, whip, and mace or whatever...I'd rather them not. It just seems weird to me. But I'll tell you what, if you're having doubts, just PM me the idea and I'll tell you what I think.
Skills: What is your character good at? Computers, piloting, demolitions? Are they a snap shot with a blaster? Explain.
Powers: Jedi only. Common Force Powers are Force Push, Mind Trick, and the ability to throw a Lightsaber like a boomerang. No Dark Side powers. Period. Custom is allowed, explain in detail. As for the strength of the force. I don't want gods. No pulling spaceships out of the skies. I'm fairly flexible I just don't want it to be like bleach where everyone is a god. Probably a bit stronger than what's in the games though. Manipulating only a single object at once would be the average for a padawan.
Bio: Just give a short history about what made them who they are today. The game is set in a world roughly based off the one in KOTOR though with different characters obviously. So plan accordingly.
Well...there you have it. I'll have my character up later, I'll be making a Jedi Master who will be leading the group to investigate the disturbance on Nar Shadaa.

I'm thinking I'll be joining this but I want to ask some questions first.
A) Is the grayside a viable path? In other words an ex-jedi who doesn't believe that the Jedi or Sith are correct but yet has the willpower to avoid the temptations from straying from the jedi order (since you mentioned a place from KOTOR, think Jolee Bindo only in this case when he was younger and not so bitter yet).
B) Custom lightsabers y/n? If so to what level of customization, comic level (where we see different “weapon” shaped lightsabers of different sizes with differently shaped hilts) or just movie/game customization (double-bladed, single or dual wielding)?
C) How strong will the force be? Again a good comparison would be comics/books versus games/movies (not counting FU where hes pulling starships outta the sky). In the comics/books we have people using the force to live for thousands of years and manipulate a thousand objects at once, in the game the force is far more limited usually to single things at one time unless the individual is a very powerful user. I understand the second is probably the choice and its the sensible one but I just want to know before creating a character.
D) Does this take part at some point in the canonical time-line or does it break off as a standalone series?
The first question will probably sway my decision to join, the others are more just curiosities.

Name: Maries Venota (Muh-re-es Veh-no-tuh), prefers to go by the name of Maria due to her upbringing. Race: Miraluka Class: Jedi Master, trained on the path of the Jedi Consular. Allignment: Jedi Order Age: 76, though through the force and her master's variation of the Spirit Transference, she has retained a fairly youthful appereance, looking to be in her mid to late 20s.
Description: Maria has a rather slender build, being only 113 lbs and not more than an inch above 5 feet in height A curtain of brown tressess once adorned her head, but overtime they gave way to the gray strands of age, which finally gave way to silver. Her face and body have remained youthful, but the crown of hair upon her head has not. While very neatly kept, it has retained the color of age to symbolize how old she truly was. It falls as a curtain down her back to the base of her shoulder blades, falling over the bare shoulders that are revealed to the world because of her outfit. This is not the standard robes of the Jedi Order, far from in in fact. A brown tunic, similar to the ones that the Jedi wore was the only similarity. The sleves have been cut at the shoulders, leaving them bare, and a triangle of fabric branches out from the end, where the wrist is and covered the majority of the backs of her hands. From the waist down, you see a much lgihter material, complimenting the tunic above. From the knees downwards is also cut on either side of her lower legs, tied together at the ankles by a set of strings. Her feet are usually bare, by choice. She feels it helps her have a better connection with the force if she can feel the living pulses beneath her without hindrance. Her twin lightsabers are clipped at her hips, one on each side. Finally, to top it all off. A strip of cloth, finely cut by an expert tailor, covers the empty sockets where a human's eyes would normally be. The cloth itself is black, and about 2 inches wide.
Personality: Unlike most Miraluka, Maria is a very open person. She is very accepting and trusting of most people. She believes no matter how far one falls to the Darkside, there is always a chance at redemption. A kind teacher, and honorable Master, she has taken on but two padawans in her life as a Jedi. Why the number is so low is a mystery to everyone but herself. She treats others with respect, except perhaps the most dispicable ones like the Hutts, who in her eyes deserve nothing but the cold realization of truth. One Hutt in particular was known as Eewata the Hutt, who she has grown to detest above all others. Her views on the Force, are a bit different than most of the Order, though not to the point of them calling it heresy. She believes the Force is something to be respected, but not viewed as all powerful to dictate ones actions like the Jedi do, nor as a tool to be used like the Sith do. Her views on the Dark Side itself are also different, she does not believe the Dark Side to be inherently evil, however the things people do under it's influence, by choice are. Everyone makes choices, and thus Maria believes that the choices the Sith or Dark Jedi may make are not the fault of the Dark Side, but the people under it's influence. To give in to the Dark Side, you are merely giving into your emotions. Should you cause destruction and pain simply because you have given into your emotions? No. You should not. And therefor, Maria embraces her emotions, particularly the good ones, like happiness and passion, using what the Jedi would call her Inner Darkness as a siphon to lure out her deepest reaches of Light, putting the two sides into a peaceful, and even symbiotic relationship. Never has she strayed from following the Light. She has embraced her emotions like no Jedi has, yet anyone with Force Sight would tell you her intentions and nature are of the Light, which is why the Council hasn't exiled her.
Equipment and Possessions:
Love and Respect: A pair of Guard Shoto style Lightsabers that hang off her hips, they are above all else, her companions through everything. The crystals were foggy white, giving off a very unique blade of white and silver hues. The rare crystal was found on Yavin IV during the first confrontation with Darth Aran. Her Master, the Twi'lek Jedi Master Eliza Sharr and her were sent on a mission to Yavin IV to investigate a heavy disturbance in the force. Maria, a Padawan at the time utilized a green lightsaber symbolizing her following the ways of the Consular. Her master used a silver bladed Guard Shoto saber with an Electrum hilt, showing she has done many great things, and should be well respected. They found the lost Jedi Linera there, who had fallen to the Dark Side long before they realized. Known now as Darth Aran, the Sith Lord engaged the two in combat, during which Maria's saber was cleaved rendering it useless. She could do nothing but sit by and watch as her master dueled the Sith in a furious exchange of blows, neither letting up. But even for the Jedi Master, Aran proved to be too much, and slipped by Eliza's defenses and pierced her chest. With a cry of anguish, Maria used the force to catch her Master's fallen lightsaber, and reengaged Aran, using her love for her master to fuel her attacks. Each blow sent a shockwave of Force outwards until Aran was forced to retreat, she had suffered an extensive loss of fatigue, and was not able to hold against the rain of blows. After that, Maria in honor of her fallen Master and with agreement of the Council took Eliza Sharr's lightsaber as her own, crafting another identical one to symbolize the love and respect she held for her master.
Endless Light: Used to record various things, this custom datapad holds much more than what an average one would, tales of every one of her adventures is recorded, as well as records of Force Sensitive she had discovered, who later became apprentices for the Jedi Order. It also can identify samples, such as the Midi-chlorian count in a Force Sensitive's blood.
Skills:
Computer Skiils: Her constant use of her custom datapad, which was more like it's own computer in a way, has made her very adept at compute use in general. Able to hack and splice if needed, and even go as far as reprogramming droids without any difficulty.
Repair Skills: Similarly, her Datapad has needed maintenance from time to time, so she has learned to repair computers in general.
Toungues: Because of her upbringing, she was able to meet many different creatures, and learned a number of different languages, including Twi'leki, Shyriiwook, Bothese, Rodese, and many others.
Form IV: Ataru: Mastery: Maria has mastered the use of Ataru, being one of the most skilled users in the Jedi Order. The acrobatic motions give her an edge against any one opponent in an open area.
(Quoted from Wiki) Ataru was an aggressive combat form relying on a combination of power, strength, and speed. Practitioners of Ataru were always on the offensive, attacking with wide, fast, and powerful swings. Form IV practitioners constantly called upon the Force to aid in their movements and attacks. By allowing the Force to flow throughout their body, they could overcome their physical limitations (including old age, as was the case with Master Yoda) and perform amazing feats of acrobatics, such as somersaults and backflips, not only for attack, but also to evade the attacks and strikes of their opponents. Jedi utilizing Ataru needed to incorporate all the Force powers that involved surpassing normal physical ranges of motion, speed, and agility in order to be successful. Running, jumping, and spinning were all emphasized in learning the elaborate kinetics of the form.
Those who used Form IV could move at high speeds and could rain strong blows, jumping and attacking through the air. Powerful and quick spinning attacks could be utilized from all angles, either from ground or air. A master in Ataru combat could appear like a blur to their opponents, attacking from all directions—from the front, the sides, overhead, or behind. The Force not only allowed them to perform athletic feats not possible otherwise, but it also helped guide their actions and movements in combat.
Form VI: Niman: Journeyman: Having studied all the lightsaber forms at one point, Maria has a good understanding of the Niman form, giving her the ability to defend against most attacks, and be able to counter in turn.
(Quote from Wiki) Form VI attempted to balance all elements of lightsaber combat, combining the techniques from Forms that came before into a less intensely demanding combat style. In practice, Form VI was a combination of older forms (Forms I, III, IV, and V), and all of them in moderation. In the blending, much of the individuality was lost, but the strengths were spread evenly, and there was little weakness in it. Due to its "jack-of-all-trades" nature, the success of this form was largely dependent on the practitioner's intuition, improvisation, and creativity in combat rather than the rote responses derived from other forms. This broad generalization made Form VI well suited for diplomats, as they could spend their time training in the areas of politics and negotiation instead of combat training.
Form VII: Vaapad: Mastery: Because of her views and utilzation of the force, Maria has grown to use the Vaapad style so fluently, that she can be called nothing less than a Master at it. The bold and direct movements she uses aim to weaken her opponents resolve, and to fatigue them faster because of the need to defend against such attacks.
(Quote from Wiki) There were two variations of Form VII, Juyo and Vaapad, but both utilized bold, direct movements. According to accounts compiled by the New Jedi Order, use of Form VII was more demanding in terms of energy used due to a broader focus and deeper utilization of emotion. A Form VII practitioner was said to maintain a calm exterior appearance, but they were also stated to experience significant internal pressure, while using the Ferocity Form. In addition, it was described as sometimes paradoxical and unpredictable, as well as filled with concepts that made the form too difficult and unattractive to many students.
Vaapad was described as more than a fighting style; it was a state of mind that led through the penumbra of the dark side, requiring the user to enjoy the fight, and relish the satisfaction of winning. The practitioner of Vaapad would accept the fury of their opponent, transforming them into one half of a superconducting loop, with the other half being the power of darkness inherent in the opponent. The form was also mentioned with a cautionary warning by the Jedi that use of Vaapad led the user perilously close to the dark side due to its focus on physical combat. Vaapad required a constant and sizable stream of Force use from the user, with a barely contained explosion of Force power essential to all variations of Form VII as another prerequisite for its use. The form's attacks appeared to be unconnected, its motions seemingly unpolished to an untrained observer. Mace Windu and Sora Bulq, the two creators of Vaapad, duel each other on Ruul.
During the latter years of the Republic, Jedi Master Mace Windu developed Vaapad by drawing inspiration from the movements of a creature, known as both the Vaapad and the Juyo, native to the planet Sarapin. Vaapad users appeared to wield many lightsabers at once, moving too fast to see, just as the vaapad creature would attack with blindingly fast tentacles that were impossible to count until the vaapad was dead. A Vaapad user's attacks would flow into each other with liquid precision, creating the constant near-invisible weave of energy which was the ready-stance of Vaapad. It was also possible to apply Vaapad in unarmed combat, with the user's arms becoming too fast to see, as well as in the use of dual lightsabers. While observing the duel between Darth Sidious and Mace Windu, Anakin Skywalker considered Windu's Vaapad bladework to be "an oblate sphere of purple fire" which contained dozens of blades attacking from every angle.
After his fall to the dark side prior to the Clone Wars, Count Dooku described the power of Vaapad as skirting the dark side of the Force, but said in a duel with Weequay Jedi Sora Bulq that the form was bridled and weaker without use of the dark side. Dooku later subverted Bulq to his cause. After Bulq fell to the dark side, he claimed that he had perfected the form, which Windu disputed while engaging Bulq in a lightsaber duel. While Bulq had previously practiced Vaapad with Windu, he was unable to defeat him in combat and their duel ended in a stalemate.
Powers: Being trained as a Consular, Maria is highly adept at force use. She can utilize it in numerous ways, however her most common techniques used are thus:
Mind Trick/Force Persuasion: Used by many Jedi, this alters the targets thoughts, compelling them to do what the Jedi asks of them.
Force Push: Another common force power, Force Push is a wave of kinetic energy that's released from the palm, pushing the target away.
Telekinesis: Using the Force, one can control an object by simple willpower. They can move them, cause them to simply float in the air, or throw them simply by directing their mind. Often, a Jedi will use there hands to direct the object in question, making it easier to be precise.
Lightsaber Throw: Yet another common force power, using the force one can throw and direct their lightsaber, before having it return to their hand. Similar to a boomerang.
Electric Judgement: Originally a Sith power, this variation of Force Lightning was developed to be used without giving into anger or passion, signs of one falling to the Darkside. Unlike the blue and white variant, Electric Judgement is usually gold and orange, or green and emerald.
Force Hammer: This force power, utilized the force to magnify a phycial impact a hundred fold to generate a shock wave that radiated outwards, causing increased damage, and potentionally rendering anyone caught in the blast useless. An example of this would be when she channeled the force into her blows during her first duel with Darth Aran.
Bio: Born as a slave, Maria's mother died during child birth because of their living conditions. She was raised mainly by a Twi'lek female named Arisa'nae and a Human female named Leannah. They became her family, and would remain so for a full decade. During her time as a slave, she served under the criminal Lord Eewata the Hutt of Nar Shadda, he was a brutal and perverse creature, using any of his slaves, particularly Maria because of her small form as his personal playthings. This went on from the time she was old enough to walk, to one day sometime after her 10th birthday a Jedi Knight came to investigate a disturbance. The Jedi was known as Eliza Sharr, a Twi'lek who had an air of kindness about her that made one respect her immediately. She met with Eewata, without even knowing about the slaves at first. However she soon found out when he called for Maria to bring them drinks as they discussed business. Being only 10 at the time, and wearing a dirty cloth to cover her eyes. Instantly Eliza felt how strong the force was with Maria and questioned the Hutt about her. Eewata responded offhandedly about her mother oweing him a lot of money, something like 50k credits. So he ended up enslaving her to pay off the debt, but she didn't live long enough to pay it off, so she has continued to serve him to pay it off. Being disgusted at the idea, she used Force Pesuade to free her, and took her back to Dantooine to be tested. She underwent training as a Consular, and within a few short years had become an accomplished Padawan, who was taken in by none other than Eliza Sharr herself. They traveled a long time together, becoming very close friends. A few of the missions were with a Jedi Knight named Linera and her own Padawan Kalvin. Unfortunately, they both ended up falling to the Darkside before long. Kalvin was slain during a battle on Mustafar during the last Jedi Civil War lead by Jedi Master Kova, current Grand Master of the Jedi Order. At the same time, Jedi Master Eliza Sharr and her Padawan Maria were sent to investigate a disturbance on Yavin IV. During there search, they stumbled across a stray crystal of rare color that Eliza said was used in her very own Lightsaber. Not long after the discovery of such a crystal, Linera, now known as Darth Aran; the source of the disturbance, confronted them. A fierce duel took place between Maria and her mentor, versus Darth Aran. The trio battled it out for a long time, before by a stroke of bad luck Aran caught Maria off balance and cleaved her green saber in half rendering it useless. She had no choice but to sit on the sidelines and watch as her master faced Darth Aran alone in one on one combat. Both were inredibally skilled with the lightsaber, however tragically Aran was able to best the Jedi Master, and thrust her through the chest which would ultimately prove to be a fatal wound. In a flurry of anger Maria took up her fallen Master's saber and began using the beginnings of what would later be known as the Force Hammer technique against Aran. The combination of the heavy rain of blows fueld by Maria's rage, in addition to her already extensive fatigue didn't give her much of a choice. Sure she could have lasted a long time because of their power difference, but because she wasn't at her peak she was forced to retreat. Using the force to create a storm of lightning which blinded Maria's Force Sight she vanished from the Padawan's senses. Falling onto her knees at her Master's side, tears streamed down Maria's face as she gazed into the slowly dieing eyes of her mentor. Her final words were thus: "Do not fall under the influence of the Dark Side...But don't banish your emotions either...this is my final gift to you..." A light enveloped the pair, sending Maria swirling into unconciousness. When she awoke she was in a bed at the Jedi Temple at Coruscant, Grand Master Kova told Maria that there was no trace of Master Eliza Sharr when they found her. The most likely occurance, was using a variation of the Spirit Transferance technique, usually used by the Sith to prolong there own life, Eliza poured what remained of her own life force into Maria, granting her an extended life span and a power that would forever hold her to the Light. Shortly after her recovery, she requested to keep the Lightsaber of her Master in respect for the sacrifice the Twi'lek made. The Council agreed upon this, and also granted her the permission to create an identical one to show the bond she shared with Eliza Sharr.
She was granted the rank of Knight, and was told to take on her own Padawan, however the Miraluka was reluctant at first, choosing instead to become a Watchman for the order like her Master originally was before her.A decade passed, and eventually Maria found a young Twi'lek girl who had become a slave for Eewata the Hutt. Detesting the Hutt with such disdain at his sheer ability to remain the same, the cruel perverse bastard he always was. She took the Twi'lek, who was named Giannama'tara, the daughter of Arisa'nae, who Maria learned changed her name shortly before her death to Arisama'tara. Like Maria, Gianna was strong in the force by that age, and came to look upon Maria like a mother. Choosing Gianna as her first Padawan, the young Twi'lek trained hard under the guidance of Maria and became an accomplished Sentinel. The two shared many adventures together, and eventually Gianna passed the trials and became a Jedi Knight, thus becoming Maria's equal. Soon after Gianna took a young human boy named David as her own Padawan, and Maria sought to gain wisdom from the Council due to her conflicting views on which path she should take. The Council told her that she were to go into solitude, and search herself to resolve the confusion. And thus she did, staying far out beyond the outer rim for many years developing various force techniques, before returning with the wisdom she gained. She told the council she wished to continue her teachings of her own Jedi Way, the council agreed, granting her the rank of Jedi Master. It took her a couple years, but she found another Padawan who has been with her till this day.
A note, if anyone wants to be Maria's padawan, just PM me saying so, otherwise I'll make it an NPC.

Name: Tylek Starr Race: Echani Class: Ex-Jedi Knight, Consular Alignment: None – LS [--O-----------------------] DS Age: 32
Description “In a universe of more people than you can possibly imagine does what I look like really matter? Hell probably ten guys in the surrounding five miles that look identical...except for the whole...white hair...Echani thing...”
Tylek is built like all Echani are built, tall and lithe with particularly heavy musculature even for their race given his duties and jedi training. He is not a particularly standout member of their race in any regard with shock white hair, pale skin and eyes which in his case don't have a particularly high sheen and so are gray instead of “silver”. His hair is molded backward into no particular style though due to the short length it manages to comes across as thrown back and stylish, he does have fast growing hair and so he has been known to have it as far down as his shoulders when left in the wilderness for a time. Tylek wears in inconspicuous set of black, boots and a mercenary style undershirt with a large brown cloak (similar to a jedi's but not as large) with several pockets. He is known to wear a red visor which increases perception and acts as a personal computer, especially while on a mission. When he was a jedi he wore white robes but those aren't exactly stealthy so he ditched them long ago.
Personality “The universe...the universe is too black and white for most people. Its sad, for making such distinctions is what breeds their own existence in the first place.”
Your average jedi would probably call Tylek confused, he would probably retort that they are. Tylek is a good man, he has left the jedi behind him but he is not in fact neutral or evil he is still an exceptionally kind and generous man with strong ties to the lightside. He is however impulsive at times but he would say that, that is what makes a person kind and to fight those impulses at least when it comes to helping someone is what diminishes our humanity. He has lost some of his beliefs that he held when he was a jedi but in fact he believes that the jedi have the right idea, he has no problem with the jedi and in fact thinks they benefit the galaxy. However he thinks they have become a business of sorts, the whims of the rich controlling the decisions being made by those in power if even to a slight degree often meaning jedi will turn a blind eye to one evil in favor of going after another even if the initial evil is right in front of them, he heavily disagrees with this tendency and it was in fact the reason he left the order in the first place.
Tylek has a very un-Echani like demeanor, he tends to be warm and open, his years patrolling the back alleys of the galaxy have also cemented a sort of friendly sarcasm in his speech which has been helpful for dealing with the less savory individuals he has been forced to work with. For a prior jedi he has a very strange look at the opposite sides of the force, he is convinced it is entirely choice based. Many jedi would warn of how the darkside can tempt you just by its existence and of course the darkside loves to call the lightside weak and unable to hold its people. Yet Tylek is completely convinced that neither side has any inherent power to draw an individual to them but rather it is the individuals mind that forces them down a path, they so convince themselves they must do one or the other and then use the force as an excuse. For this reason he thinks those who follow the darkside are no more deserving of forgiveness than the slavers and killers whom have no connection to the force. Tylek is also quite convinced that it is the jedis insistence on smothering ones desires that in fact creates the “darkside” in the first place, by making things forbidden instead of teaching jedi to take their desires in moderation the jedi are in fact harvesting their greatest foe. Of course the jedi are blind to this, but they still do some good in the galaxy so he has no intentions of getting in their way when he sees them from time to time.
Equipment and Possessions Exchange Personal Computing Visor “Privacy is overrated, like Jedi, or alcohol. HA! Comparing Jedi to Alcohol, that shows you something.”
Perhaps it seems odd that he would carry an item owned by the Exchange at one point in time which was probably attained through underhanded means and money. However he rationalizes it as if nobody used it then whatever had gone into procuring it would have been a waste for everybody involved. The device acts like a normal Personal Computing Visor in that it can bring up lists that have been downloaded, keep schedules and plot complex calculations. Unlike an average visor this one has been upgraded by the Exchange for surveillance, it can zoom in on targets, increase hearing which when combined with a jedi's natural increase in hearing can be quite beneficial and can scan the surroundings for either movement or heat signatures. Though it can be useful in a fight his jedi senses are generally good enough to make that useless, it does however have a boatload of uses during recon missions.
Silver Curve-hilted Ornamental Lightsaber – Green “I remember this one time Alekzander, one of my fellow apprentices, well he tried to go spear fishing with his lightsaber. I'll let you figure the rest out yourself.”
Tylek went into the contemplation chamber on Coruscant preparing to make his regular lightsaber like anybody else. He remembered going in he was ready to just toss it together and rush back out minutes later flailing it around, excited to finally wield the tool of a Jedi. But the contemplation chambers have a calming effect and figuring he shouldn't disappoint his master Lethura he went through the motions of communing with the force. To his amazement and something he's never had happen to this day the force spoke with him and told him what to do, admittedly many years later hes not quite sure if it was the force or some padawan playing a joke since he's not entirely sure the force would choose the words “YO, man, you should make a curved saber, that would be awwwweeesssommeeee”, but at the time it was enough for him. So to the growing concern of those waiting for him outside the chamber Tylek took a little over a month to perfectly set his saber but when he did he received much praise for his perfect construction of such a difficult style. The hilt is of a typical silver sheen but is inlaid with white streaks of pearlite, the blade is green marking him as a consular which he has never changed despite being away from the order for a decade.
Pearlite White-hilted Lightsaber – Orange “Whats with all this 'representing your inner self' crap? I just think orange is cool.”
Tylek was one of the few apprentices to adopt the Jar'kai style of fighting though he preferred keeping to traditional dueling styles when in one on one combat. As a jedi he was typically able to rely on his fellow apprentices or later knights to cover his back and so wielding a vibroblade as an offhand weapon for large scale battle was typically enough. However after parting with the jedi it quickly became obvious that such a weapon was not built for a single individual combating many, luckily a jedi is quite resourceful and since he was raiding slave and pirate activities at the time the parts to make a lightsaber came quicker than might have been possible otherwise. He built another curved saber, this time with an even steeper curve than the first one and with an abnormally long handle perfect for spinning and control in the off hand to deflect blaster shots or flanking attacks while giving more direct attacks with his original weapon. When collecting the items to make the weapon he had found a strange color crystal, he had thought it would be red at first and that he would replace it at a later time but as it turned out it was a bright neon shade of orange which after a time he decided to keep...because it was cool.
Skills Ataru/Shien/Jar'Kai “I'm pretty sure the early jedi started this stuff as a compensation thing.”
Like all jedi Tylek is trained in overall lightsaber combat but he focuses on these styles. Ataru and Shien might seen an odd combination but in fact Shien is the result of applying Ataru to Soresu. He can utilize any of these with Jar'kai, the use of both lightsabers, but he tends to stick to a single lightsaber typically his traditional main handed construct for duels and utilizes them both when facing many opponents especially during the use of Shien. His secondary offhand lightsaber is specially built for the broad sweeping attack and deflection movements of the Shien style. In short Ataru is his attack form which focuses on extremely aggressive and quick actions intended to put the enemy down before they can put together an effective counter attack. Shien is his defensive form, as said it is a more aggressive form of Soresu in which the user makes broad sweeping motions and spins with their saber to deflect strikes or more commonly blaster shots, often with the intent of aiming them back at the attacker.
Communication “Because some species in this galaxy wont just jump into a giant endless pit when you force persuade them too...”
Despite his tendency to be sarcastic and sometimes rash, especially by jedi standards, Tylek is a good speaker. In fact it might be these un-jedi like traits that make him such a good speaker. After all many people find it very difficult to speak with the haughty-taughty jedi but might be more comfortable around a more casual speaker such as him. His keen Consular level observations make this doubly so as he has the observations of a jedi but the mannerisms of an average individual. He is also well versed in the more common languages of the galaxy.
Computers/Hacking/Demolition/Repairing/Piloting “The galaxy is a big place, with a lot of closed doors in your way.”
No Tylek is not a master of all these different skills. He has however been wandering the galaxy for a decade and along the way he's been forced to do a little of all of this. He knows his way around computers and can usually hack through a locked door utilizing computer based locking but he's not going to be breaking military level security. Likewise he knows how to set up and dismantle low level explosives that you can get at your average black market dealer but not the sort of things a well financed group might have though he might at least be able to deactivate them, simply not retrieve them from their position. Same goes for the other skills he has basic droid and ship maintenance skills but he won't be able to fix something thats completely wrecked. The one skill he excels at is piloting due in part to his force connection and in part to how many times he's had to do some fancy flying to avoid pursuing pirates or Exchange bounty hunters.
Powers Force Lift/Push “It's like a damned religion. If I couldn't throw small mountains at my enemies with it I probably wouldn't believe.”
Tylek being a one time jedi knight is quite skilled with the force, particularly lifting objects or pushing them (including people). He is capable of unleashing blast that would take several individuals off their feet at a time or lifting multiple small objects (chairs, doors, crates, barrels) or a single very large one (a small ship, such as a mid-sized fighter). The latter would require extreme concentration and is not something that could be used in battle but an example of the extreme ends of his capabilities if need be for measurement. Tossing smaller objects or people on the other hand would require little thought though doing it to much at one time can begin to strain his mind. This power could also go so far as to include the “Lightsaber Throw” power which is just a variant of this power being utilized on the lightsaber where one throws their lightsaber a great distance and then retrieves it through the force. With his blades unique shape they are particularly suited to this “boomerang” method.
Force Persuasion/Domination “Sometimes you just don't want to pay for an ice-cream cone.”
As a prior Consular it should come as no surprise that Tylek has considerable skill in the manipulation of minds. He tends to use this skill sparingly in day to day interactions but he has less reserve about its use when it comes to criminals. Many Jedi use subtle persuasion which he might use when trying to go unnoticed but if he needs information and someone evil is standing in between him and that information he has no issues with dominating their mind and retrieving it. Some might consider that leaning toward the darkside but he believes that if forcing one person who has chosen to make other peoples lives hell to tell him what they know can save a hundred innocents then its worth it.
Electric Judgement “Why should bad guys have all the fun?”
Electric judgment is for all intents and purposes force lightning but simply given a different name by its jedi practitioners. Many jedi masters see the power as a corrupting force no matter how controlled the individual is and have outlawed its usage, meaning it is inevitably associated with the darkside. However more open minded jedi have pointed out that it is not a power that is inherently evil but rather what the intent is during its use, such is the case with Tylek. He does not utilize this power to cause pain or torture his opponents, he either keeps the blast so low that it functions more as a stun gun making it easy to take a criminal into custody or ups the dosage to such a high level that it is no different than being hit by a blaster or lightsaber and instantly flat lines anyone it hits. This power is also very effective at deactivating droids and other electronics.
Knight Speed “I could outrun a speeder...wouldn't want to of course, very painful, lots of bugs in your teeth. But I could.”
Jedi have to be fast and agile, ex-jedi who have a five million credit bounty on their head have to be even faster and more agile. Usage of the force to increase speed, strength and acrobatic capability (including force jump in this description) is nothing new but of course its level varies from user to user like any other. As a consular his level at this was not up to say a guardians but it was quite spectacular for someone of his title, nowadays however living a life constantly on the run and with a good few years tucked under his belt he is at least as competent as your average guardian in these skills, if not a master.
Bio “When I was born I was so surprised I didn't talk for a year and a half!”
Tylek, given this name at a later date to fit into the galactic basic speaking races, was born in the waning years of the Jedi Civil War when things were perhaps at their most desperate. He happened to be the son of two Echani politicians whom had been sent to engage in dialogue with the republic for aid against a foe that vastly outnumbered the small Echani populace. The Echani as a race managed to survive the war albeit in smaller numbers but in no thanks to this attempted political move as the republic could not spare anything to an outskirt race whom had not shown any interest in being part of the republic until they were in trouble. Due to this strange start Tylek never learned much about his Echani heritage as his parents were far more concerned with getting help from the republic. Once the war had ended the other races had been more concerned with rebuilding than anything else and his parents had not been able to find a way back to their home planet. As such they found themselves stuck on Coruscant for no less than five years at which point the jedi came.
The jedi seemed to be on a drafting binge which given their numerous losses during the war wasn't exactly unexpected. That one of the few Echani children in republic space happened to be a force sensitive was a bit stranger. Like in most cases his parents really had little say as it is the child's choice but seeing as it could have been many years before they were able to return to their homeworld they agreed to send him away. Tylek was seven at the time and it was during this period that he began developing his personality as it is now since he had little interaction with the outside world beforehand. Tylek proved a capable student and by the age of ten had been chosen during a tournament along with two others as a padawan by Master Lethura a female Twi'lek. His fellow padawan included a human male named Alekzander and a Lethan Twi'lek female named Dia. Under Master Lethura all three were approved to make their lightsabers five years after becoming her official padawan and began the trials.
Their time was spent like any others aiding their master in stopping problems of all shapes and sizes from local to global. It was during this time that they each truly came into their own and began down their particular paths. Tyleks tendencies to disobey the jedi teachings were perhaps foreshadowed when he and Dia carried on a relationship for a short time before Lethura became aware and put a quick end to it, not taking further steps since they were so young. Despite a few discrepancies along the way Lethura approved all three of them around their like ages of 20 for full jedi status, stating that no jedi was perfect and none of them had done anything out of place. As such they each ended up taking a different rank, Alekzander was approved as a Guardian, Dia as a Sentinel and Tylek as a Consular. Lethura heavily disagreed with this last appointment realizing that while Tylek was indeed highly observant as a Consular should be he was also impulsive at times.
Tyleks time as a jedi knight was short lived, a little over a year and a half after his promotion he, his old fellow padawans and master and several others were tracking down the source of a slave ring. They eventually learned the location of the man in charge and at the same time learned the location of the largest slave keeping facility the slavers owned. Tylek argued with his master that it was more important to stop the organization as a whole than a single man who could be easily replaced by the organization. His master however refused to acknowledge the point and insisted on following the man, Lethura and Tylek argued for a bit before he stormed off. Most figured he had just disappeared to cool off for a bit but 24 hours later he had not returned, it was briefly considered that they needed to go looking for him but Lethura said it would have to be done later as they had the criminals location at that very moment. They never would find Tylek though, they did return to the location where he had parted but by that point he was long gone.
He had admittedly intended his leave from the jedi order to be of the short term variety. He traveled to the slave pens and cracked down on the organization single handedly eventually forcing them to lose half of their “stock” and load the rest on to ships bound for Nar Shadda. Tylek followed and has since been making the lives of criminals on the smugglers moon a living hell earning himself a substantial bounty in the process, five million credits. The reason Tylek never returned to the jedi was because he witnessed to much, he realized that for all their pleasant words the jedi weren't actually taking their power to do good and applying them to the places that really needed it. They were protecting the relatively stable and affluent core worlds and leaving everyone else to rot, it was up to people like him to assure some of the unluckier citizens of the galaxy got protection. He also developed negative beliefs about the force as a whole while on his journey and began doubting some of the jedis stricter regimens believing that they may in fact be birthing their greatest foe in the process of attempting to halt it.

Name: Codiv Blyth Race: Gen’Dai Class: Jedi Guardian, Knight Alignment: Good, marginal light side. (subject to debate- see history) Age: 667 standard years (considered to be comparable to late teens)
Description:The Gen’Dai themselves are rarely seen since they almost always appear in public encased in complete armour, Codiv is no different but the way he goes about it is. His armour is a dull dirty grey and made of a number of plates, the gaps between which are all sealed by a black rubber like substance. His metal boots are made out of one single piece of material each but with high grip rubber treads bellow to prevent his metal boots slipping all over the place. Similarly the armour around his lower leg is made out of a single piece, wrapping right the way around. The knee, a key point of articulation, is protected solely by a single, relatively small knee cap and could be considered one of the armours weaker points. The thigh is protected by four, broad vertical strips of metal spaced equally around the muscle, allowing it to freely expand and contract. From the waist up to the rib cage his body is protected by a series of four over lapping strips of armour, allowing for bending and other articulation. This arrangement is mirrored on his back with a small gap between the two sets of strips at the sides. His chest and the rest of his rib cage is protected by a single piece of armour, ever so slightly sculpted to mimic peak male musculature, ironic considering the qualities of his species. Much as before this region of his back is protected similarly and once again there is a thin gap between the two plates at the sides. His shoulders are protected by simple shoulder pads which are not oversized, contrary to the fashions of the day. His arms are protected similarly to his legs in that the upper arms are protected by four broad strips of metal allowing for articulation and the lower arms protected by a single piece. His hands are also encased in armoured gloves, made of many small overlapping pieces to allow movement. There is no visible armour around his neck, merely the rubber like substance which seals all the armours gaps. Finally his helmet. Where you would expect there to be a hole through which to breath and talk you instead find a small combined speaker and air filter, giving all his speech a slightly electronic or artificial feel, as though listening through an old radio. Furthermore, on either side of this are air pipes leading to a pair of air tanks on his back. Contrary to appearance normal air is not poisonous to Codiv but he is ready for airborne attack or being thrust into the vacuum of space. There is a slight protuberance, suggesting a nose, and he has a single, wide black tinted visor which runs across the front of his helmet to peer through.
However, much of his armour cannot normally be seen, unlike most members of his species he hides it beneath a long, light weight, sand brown coat that is so blasted and work it looks as though it could have come from Tatooine, which it did. Indeed, in a style similar to the Tuskan raider his head, aside from eye piece and mouth piece, is also covered in a dirty dust coloured wrap. Though this arrangement means his armoured gloves and legs are often visible it does mean he no longer looks like a walking tank. For ceremonial occasions he will wear Jedi robes but he finds them impractical in the field, hard to wear with the armour and drawing unnecessary attention. His armour and clothing are as much to make him look normal as they are to protect him. Were he to walk around naked his body would likely cause comment, even more than it already does. Standing at two point three meters high, and not yet fully grown that alone is enough to draw comment. Especially when he has to crouch through doors. His skin is greyish in hue and he has no hair what so ever. Though his mouth is in itself normal, all be it slightly larger than most and with an array of savagely large and sharp teeth towards the front what draws most attention is what is next to them. A pair of large mandibles emerge from what would be his cheek bones which he normally keeps flat to his face. Even like this the appendages stretch down to just bellow his chin and account for the seemingly disproportionately large chin of his helmet. These mandibles end in vicious points and are serrated on the inside curve to help cut up food before it reaches the mouth as well as damage an opponent. His nose is very small and seems to be little more than two large nostrils in his face, rendering the nose gap in his helmet pointless aside from social normality. He is a muscular man to say the least but it is a musculature that is not quite right. If you look at it hard enough it seems to move in strange ways, as if wriggling under his skin and getting out of its own way. Indeed occasionally entire muscles seem to disappear and materialise at random and though normally he would never lose his humanoid shape it does look as if he is ready to explode into some other form at any moment
Personality: Codiv is not like most Jedi, indeed he has even been called ruthless and evil by some, he considers naive and innocent Jedi. But he has always refuted this by claiming there is not a single evil bone in his body, this being something of a private joke since he has no bones. But the point stands. Rather than being evil he sees himself as more of a man of necessity and cold reality. He is perfectly willing to sacrifice thousands to save millions. Indeed during the recent jedi civil war and other conflicts he has often advocated seemingly harsh, but in his view necessary, moves. For instance, abandoning the defence of heavily populated civilian words in order to readily defend less populated factory and mining worlds needed for the war effort. Even in small scale conflicts he was always willing to use less skilled, expendable men as fodder in probing defensive capabilities or as the first wave of an attack. But despite all this he does have a fundamental morality, he is loyal and law abiding. He will help those in need so long as it does not hurt others and he will set wrongs right where ever he sees them.
On a more personal level he is an agreeable, if reserved man. In a conversation with a stranger he will be polite, but short and to the point, doing the best he can to keep his own feelings contained and is reluctant to express things in terms of his own opinion, often saying “do you not see that” rather than “I believe that.” His dealings with Jedi are some what more open, if challenged or asked directly about his thoughts or feelings he will answer fully but he will rarely initiate such a conversation. Indeed it seems he is now more willing to talk to strangers than to Jedi. This is because of something a distrust and resentment he now bears towards most of the order which he is struggling to overcome.
The only people he is truly honest, comfortable and open with are his close friends, but they were always few in number. He was no stranger to jokes and moments of light heartedness around them and their friendship was based around a combination of like mindedness and acceptance of one another, because no one else in the order, in their opinion, truly accepted them. However, these men are now all dead or gone with the possible exception of a man name Hanout.
Codiv is an ordered man, despite his outward appearances. His equipment is always organised with military precision and he plans things with equal care and attention detail. Even his personal quarters are so neat they seem strangely empty and inhuman. But despite his preferences he is in no way phased but mess and untidiness. There are things however, that move him towards anger, even though he tries to resist these feelings with momentous effort. Chiefly it is what he sees as blind stupidity on the part of his fellow Jedi in their refusal to see the benefits of sacrifice, their refusal to compromise or yield anything despite the advantages of doing so. Secondly, the orders changing attitude towards him personally aggravates him. He believes he is a man who has give unwavering, loyal service and yet he is still thought of as a liability and possible traitor on the edge of exile.
Equipment and Possessions:His armour is designed to withstand light blaster fire and deflect bolts that would only just hit him, furthermore it is designed to withstand nearby explosions of grenade or light support weapon power. However, concentrated blaster fire, high energy bolts such as those used in sniper rifles or direct hits from anti tank devices and any size of artillery or orbital bombardment would all rupture the suit. Furthermore, ever since the midway point of the Jedi civil war, as soon as he had gathered the materials, the suit has possessed a cortosis weave, granting it a resistance to, though not immunity from, other light sabres. The armoured suit has been so engineered so as to not restrict movement. Indeed the rubber like substance between armoured plates is designed to be stretched to two or three times its normal length. Though this may sound impressive considering the small nature of these rubber areas the distance is not that great, but occasionally small differences decide the outcome of battle. However, the armour does have one significant disadvantage. Armour of this type has often been known to restrict force power, especially when involving cortosis and though he has taken steps to minimise this effect he could never rival the force mastery of a Jedi consular indeed some of his un armoured guardian colleagues can out do him in this area. As such some of the more complex or demanding force powers are barred from him. Indeed, if a straight forward saber battle or a conventional military conflict were to take place this suit would be a blessing. But, if it came down to the powerful application of force powers he would be forced to remove the suit in order to compete.
Due to a combination of this, his military ties and the ever present knowledge that some foes are resistant to the force and that the force can fail without warning he also carries with him some conventional military equipment. He wears a sturdy military equipment belt, on this hangs a large dagger with a cortosis weave as an emergency tool should his light sabre fail. Furthermore he carries a standard blaster carbine, which due to the fact the weapon is smaller than a rifle and Codiv’s large size he wields like a pistol. Furthermore he always carries on the rear of the belt five plasma grenades, just in case.
His lightsaber is a dual lightsaber, that is not to say it is a dual blade lightsaber, but rather it was two settings which are rapidly interchangeable. This design became favoured during the civil war due to the element of surprise and flexibility it afforded in combat. Considering his stature this blade is longer than most so as to be in proportion to his body. The primary setting creates a blade 130 cm in length with a twenty five cm grip, which proportionally to his body, creates a long sword length blade as wielded by most Jedi. The second setting creates a blade just over two meters long which, proportionally to his body and combined with the grip would make a great sword. Due to the nature and size of the blade needed for the larger mode he can only use it for short periods. Sustained use would but the power flow levels within the weapon well beyond safe limits causing any range of problems from internal melting and shorting out to outright exploding. The grip itself is undecorative and simply consists of a high grip rubber wrap around the majority of the lightsaber itself to allow for easy wielding. Aside from the dual settings the only other thing that makes this lightsaber stand out from the crowd is the cortosis guard. All too often in the civil war did he see lightsaber blades simply slide down an opponents to a quick and easy kill. Indeed Codiv is still surprised that guards are not more common amongst lightsabers. His blade was not constructed out of any particular realisation about himself but rather out of cold martial necessity, ironically a very accurate reflection of himself. On a similar note he spent a long time hunting a crystal which would produce a dull grey blade. He did this because such a blade would often be hard to clearly make out, especially against grey sky or in urban areas.
Skills: Though these are not strictly skills they are features of his species worth mentioning. Though humanoid in appearance the biology of the Gen’Dai is radically different. Firstly they have no bones and are instead supported purely by their own uniquely developed musculature. This allows them to shift the length, size and position of their own limbs. Even going so far as to replace them entirely with radically different appendages. Obviously the amount and type of clothing worn will effect this. Secondly they have no vital organs, meaning it is almost impossible to get a one shot kill or to cause massive bleeding and the like. Thirdly they have no central nervous system, no brain. Every element of their body can think for itself but is tied to some greater consciousness. This has they by product of increasing reaction times of even lay Gen’Dai to close to those of a Jedi, force training only amplifies this. Furthermore there sensory perception, especially hearing and touch are very acute. So much so an average Gen’Dai can hear or feel a human heart beat two hundred meters away. Finally their bodies have regenerative capacities, allowing them to seal their wounds almost instantly and knit their flesh back together. Even entire limbs which have been removed can simply be reattached if caught quickly enough. Extensive harm forces the creature to retreat and enter a state of hibernation until wounds are healed but this rarely happens. It has been speculated that the way to kill a Gen’Dai is to completely destroy, pulp or pulverise the entire body.
Lightsaber combat, as well as other forms of close quarter combat are one of this man’s main skills. Like most Jedi he has an understanding of Shii-Cho as a good solid base from which to develop and use other forms of combat. Furthermore his extensive lightsaber training has allowed him knowledge of many other forms weaknesses. His own preferred methods of duelling however fall into two categories. Firstly a modified version of Makashi, the fencing like style, based around swift and elegant moves. He uses this style the majority of the time, especially since the combination of his own jedi training and his naturally fast nervous system allows him to block blaster bolts with this style as well, a feat few can mange. His second preferred style is Juyo, or the ferocious style. Due to the draining and often risky nature of this fighting style he tends to use it only against single, or easily dispatched, opponents. Or when the situation forces him into making a desperate roll of the dice. His slight personal modification of this form is linked to the inherent features of his species. He puts a large degree of physical strength into these attacks and will often move in surprising ways, especially when un armoured. Linked to this, and out of a desire not to have to rely on his light saber, he is also a skilled unarmed fighter in those same styles, as much as is possible.
Finally, and perhaps most importantly, he is a strategist. He realised long, long ago that though Jedi may seek to keep the peace war will befall the galaxy, likely many times. So, he resolved to be as good at war as he could so he could swiftly put an end to it. He also realised that Jedi would, or more accurately should, be put in charge, whether it be of whole armies or key groups and squads on the battlefield. So in times of peace he studied fleet and army tactics so as that when war would come he would be magnificent, so he hoped. But instead it only the order more cautious of him.
Powers: He has a thorough understanding of force push and force pull, both of which he utilises freely in combat in often inventive ways. Linked to this he has a firm grasp of force throw, used to hurl objects in an often offensive manner, this includes the ability to throw and recall his lightsaber. He also has a grasp of force speed but he tends only to use it in short bursts to augment his close quarter fighting and rarely uses it for sustained periods, though he is capable of doing so should the need arise.
Bio: Codiv was not born on his home world, indeed the home world of his own kind has been lost. However, Codiv was not born on a world at all but rather he was born in a cargo hold of a freight ship bound for Coruscant. His parents were impoverished stowaways on this near automated vessel fleeing debts to a local hut. Codiv often found it strange that they were so fearful since their species was near impossible to destroy by conventional small arms and his parents could certainly have defeated the goons sent to collect the debt. But, there species was peaceful almost to a fault, a fault Codiv learnt to correct early in his life. Getting unregistered jobs for well below minimum wage simply so no paper trail would lead the huts to him his parents worked as freight packers in the very docks where they had landed. Given the poor pay they had to work overtime merely to feed themselves, let alone their child, as such there was a genuine choice between food and shelter, food won out. Therefore Codiv spent his first years living as an urchin, following his parents to work every day and nestling in between them as they slept for his shelter.
His force abilities manifested early in life, especially for a species as long lived as his own. However, at first they were it not obvious, rather they manifested themselves as hideous accidents. He was sitting quietly on a crate, near his parents as they worked, when a particularly abusive and violent foreman came and scalded them for their inefficiencies, even going so far as to strike Codiv’s mother who of course did not fight back. Codiv, filled with suppressed rage and protective outrage at the event merely concentrated and wished in his own head that a crate would fall and crush the foreman, this it did, rendering the man’s legs permanently useless. Not the best omen for a force user, that their first act is to almost kill. Similarly, once when the family was about to be mugged in their sleep the young Codiv awoke suddenly, having sensed the danger, and almost by reflex, caused a nearby pipe of superheated steam to burst, seriously burning the assailant. This prompted a police investigation who referred the strange case to the Jedi who in turn swiftly noticed the boy’s talent and wanted to take him into their care. After weighing the issue Codiv’s parents agreed and although they would miss their little boy they believed the care and education the Jedi could give was far more than they ever could. Looking back on it Codiv is now glad he was taken away because he realised the emotions that triggered his powers would only have led to the dark side.
Unfortunately, repressing those emotions as he was taught severely limited his force prowess, but his fighting skills proved well above average in initial testing and so he was on the way to becoming a Jedi guardian. It took a while for him to be assigned a master mainly because of the rarity and bizarre nature of his species. Few masters thought they could work with the child as well as is required of a master, so he went neglected for a while, left to teach himself as much as possible in the library as well as attending regular classes. It was during this period he began to form his opinions about war and human sacrifice as he observed that, historically, those who surrendered nothing lost everything. He was eventually taken in by a knight keen to prove himself and train his first padawan,Codiv was the only one left.
Despite the fact Codiv was the last to be picked the duo got along at a brisk pace. His instructor, Parmentier, was an old veteran of numerous conflicts, often small scale, because unlike many other Jedi this man picked sides in conflicts where diplomacy proved difficult and the won the struggle for whom so ever he chose. This technique had proved exceedingly unpopular with the council but never enough to warrant a complete exile. Fascinated by his war stories Codiv quickly bonded to his master and this facilitated his training. Furthermore, due to the numerous fights Parmentier had gotten into he was a fine swordsman and was able to pass these skills onto his young padawan as well as a more personal and intimate knowledge of the armed forces, Parmentier had worked with a lot. Parmentier was a long lived man, especially for a human and was able to teach Codiv for close to forty years before his eventual death of inevitable old age. This prompted the still young for his kind Codiv to submit himself to the tests needed to become a knight. These he subsequently passed, his long training had stood the man in good stead. However, the world he entered into was one of peace, not war and thus there was little place in it for Codiv. So once again, he returned to the libraries and archives of the jedi order to learn what he could, ready for when the day would come.
Through the long years, which he survived as others fell victim to age and infirmity he had few people he would call friends. But, as the Jedi civil war crept closer he had accumulated three very close Jedi friends, all of which were naturally long lived and all of which shared similar opinions to his own on the issues of what must be done, on compromise and sacrifice. An opinion which kept them on the fringes of Jedi society. Chief amongst these men was a fellow guardian Tishart. This isolation from the rest of the Jedi world may have been responsible for what happened next, or perhaps these people truly were corrupt. But either way, when the war came al of Codiv’s friends sided with the Sith. Codiv himself was incredibly tempted to join, the only thing that stopped him was the fact he knew that the end had to justify the seemingly ruthless means he employed and the Sith offered no worthwhile end whilst the Jedi did and so Codiv remained loyal.
Unfortunately the Jedi did not believe in his loyalty, they saw a man with disreputable beliefs and methods, taught by a disreputable man, who had disreputable friends all of whom had turned traitor. Their belief was that Codiv had been left behind on purpose to feed the Sith information about Republic movements and plans. Whilst they could not prove it they did not trust this man either and so barred him from going on mission or even leaving the compound. Codiv had been an obedient man all his life, he had been loyal and never broke a promise or disobeyed an order. But this time, this time he was compelled to disobey. Breaking free from his chambers he swiftly recovered his equipment and fled the compound, high jacking a high speed courier vessel and flying straight for the nearest branch of the Republic fleet. Due to the high speed nature of his craft he was able to get there before the Jedi got organised enough to send a notice to all vessels to bring Codiv in. By the time the Captain of the vessel Codiv had docked with was informed Codiv was already strategising. Deciding to trust the runaway Jedi the Captain, named Hanout, gave shelter to the Jedi, as was his right. Though in the present Hanout has retired the pair remain friends to this day. At the time Hanout was in command of a small flotilla assigned the task of protecting the lines of supply between the factory world Oozan and the perimeter settlements whilst the main fleet went searching for the Sith. Codiv urged Hanout to use his influence to stop this but admiralty was determined, thus Hanout and Codiv watched as huge swaths of the fleet went out on a wild goose chase where the Sith could out manoeuvre them, slowly pick them off or get behind them and tear into the core worlds. This indeed happened and Hanout’s flotilla, among many other reserve flotillas left behind were dangerously over stretched and vulnerable to Sith attack. Indeed. Communication was slowly being lost with the reserve flotillas and even a few of their own scout ships. Codiv knew that eventually the Republic fleet would catch up with the Sith one if the Sith could be delayed, but none of the other Flotilas, spread across the numerous lanes and planets that were there responsibility, stood a chance.
Codiv advised Hanout to abandon all the worlds and all the patrols in their region aside from the important factory world, where most of the important facilities were underground to resist bombardment. Furthermore he advised Hanout to land his ships in various hard to pin point yet key locations across the planet such as forested areas, large caves, valleys and urban landscapes all of which led to factory entrances, then to power down their own hyper drive systems and all forms of propulsion so as not to give away signatures ships above could lock onto or readily see. These landed ships would then serve as a chain of miniature fortresses and though Hanout lacked any capital class ships or other large vessels their weaponry would still devastate infantry and armour. So they settled in for a lengthily battle. Casualties were high, the Sith ground troops outnumbered them massively but by fighting a purely defensive campaign in solid spots, never moving and never straying from their improvised gun batteries of space ships they bought time. But the cost was astronomical. Slowly their grounded ships were picked off one by one by Sith ground troops, positions were overwhelmed by sheer force of numbers. Indeed, in an effort to lure the Republic forces off of the ground the Sith laid waste to all the neighbouring worlds the Republic was supposed to protect, but following Codiv’s advice Hanout refused to budge.
Eventually the Sith fleet realised the main republic fleet was catching them up and hastily moved on, leaving a single Flotila behind to overwhelm the one defensive position remaining and destroy the factory before rejoining the rest of the fleet before the Republic caught it. The Flotila that remained was led by one of Codiv’s old friends, Tishart, one of the few who thought like him, one of the few Jedi Codiv actually respected and admired for seeing what Codiv believed to be the truth. Truth be told this was intentional on the part of the Sith, they saw a man with talent but questionable ethics, they believed Codiv would be easy to turn, especially if a friend tried to do so, reminding Codiv of what he had done and become and showing Codiv that the Jedi would never except or understand his actions, but the Sith would. Codiv however, had resisted temptation once before and would do so again. Realising how close the Republic was Codiv’s old friend personally led his Sith forces into battle against Codiv and Hanout.
Whilst Hanout led the regular Republic soldiers in their stalwart defence Codiv waited until the Sith had entered toe to toe combat before drawing his lightsaber and tearing into the enemies’ ranks like a scythe. This was partly to cause casualties but chiefly to draw out his old friend, safe in the knowledge that without their leader the regular Sith forces would melt away. Eventually Codiv found his old friend in the heat of battle and they locked sabres in a duel that to Codiv was for more than just this planet, this fight would not only save the world but make the destruction of the Sith fleet that much easier and furthermore prove, beyond a shadow of a doubt that he, Codiv, was one of the righteous. His fight with Tishart was a gruelling one, not least because of the fighting itself but having to stare into his old companions face which seemed strangely empty now took its toll on Codiv also. But fight he did and he won, by sheer strength of will and arm he beat his opponent to the ground before breaking his sabre arm, cutting off both hands and finally plunging his lightsabre into his old friends head. The remaining Sith on planet rapidly became aware of their leaders death, many fled to their ships in orbit and attempted to rejoin their fleet. Others were left behind and hid across the world, hiding from the republic and it would take weeks to hunt them down.
However, Codiv would not see this happen. The Republic fleet arrived a mere day latter, hot on the trail of the Sith fleet with the gap now considerably closed and with a full functional factory to manufacture replacement parts for damaged ships and forge new battle cruisers to swell the Republic’s ranks. However, the flagship contained several prominent Jedi who swiftly had Codiv detained and shipped back to Dantooine to await trial at the end of the war. Now kept under guard and in a secure cell he was treated like a captured Sith, not a brave Jedi who had played a role in this war.
Eventually he was called for trial, much of it happened in his absence, the council discussed amongst themselves taking in little evidence that they did not want to hear, however Hanout was so vocal in his support of Codiv there were forced to hear his testimony and the evidence of several other leading officers in the planetary defence, all of whom sang Codiv’s praise. Eventually Codiv himself was called up to explain his actions. When asked why he had felt the need to go against his superiors and break away from the compound he replied that he believed the fight that was going on was one he must be involved in, not only to vindicate himself and prove beyond all doubt he was not tainted as the council believed but also to save lives and protect the Republic. The council retorted that his rush to the fight only furthered the argument that he had fallen to the dark side and that his tactics had cost millions of lives. Codiv was adamant that his tactics had saved billions in the long run and that his delay proved crucial in allowing the Republic to catch up with their foes. Furthermore he pointed out that he had resisted many opportunities and persuading arguments to fall to the dark side and even as the Jedi sought to arrest him he fought their fight.
Despite these arguments the order was unimpressed. They conceded that Codiv’s actions had some military value. But they insisted that his actions were selfish, rash, unthinking and ruthless. He was wrong to deny them and wrong to fight the way he did, but there were not quite able to exile him. Instead they stripped him of his rank in all but name. He would no longer be allowed to go on missions on his own, he must be accompanied by a more experienced Jedi to show him how he should behave. Furthermore he would not be allowed to take on a padawan, despite thinking himself ready for one. He would not be allowed this right until he could prove he could be trusted again. He feels betrayed now by his own order, those he gave his life in servitude to. There is not a day goes by when he asks himself two questions. Should I leave the order and join the navy? And more disturbingly, was I on the wrong side? Thankfully though, he always persuades himself to stay.

Name: Izo Kuhnari Race: Human Class: Bounty Hunter Alignment: None. Light Side: [-------o----------] Dark Side Age: 27 Description: Izo is of a rather large build. He stands at six foot four and has very broad shoulders as well as large legs. Despite his rather large build he is very quick and very athletic. He has pitch black hair that is cut short, much like a military hair cut. He has brown eyes and a rather tan complexion though still falling under Caucasian but he could be confused with a lighter skinned Latino. He wears a tan leather long coat, different tee shirts and paints as well as his black boots. He almost always wears fingerless gloves. He also carries a bag which he puts most his supplies in. Personality: Izo is slightly complicated. He is for the most part a pretty nice guy. He doesn’t mind helping people so long as he gets something in return, even if that something is a favor he can call on at any time. He tries to make more friends then enemies, in the galaxy its far better to have people to help you in a fight then to try to kill you in a fight. He is very emotional when he fights, he lets his anger and rage carry his blows, his fear fuel his movement, and his training to think threw the fight. He has absolutely no problem ending a life if it’s to protect his own or someone else’s. Or if he believes that the person has no right to live, they do something like raping someone or killing someone. He also doesn’t mind killing someone if they stand against him, or are in the way of him completing his mission. He has no problem beating someone to the ground if they piss him off. He keeps a general respect for all warriors, and if the situation allows it he will generally give them a chance to fight back and best him. However if he cant he will just kill them. He doesn’t agree with the Jedi order as they don’t allow the expression of affection or to use your emotions in a fight. Equipment and Possessions: Vibroblade: A good size vibroblade, the handle is seven inches long and wrapped in a white cloth and the blade is four feet long. For most people it would be more of a two handed weapon but he can wield it easily with one hand. It is kept on his back using a sheath sowed into his leather long coat. Blaster Pistol: A bit of a crude blaster pistol, it takes the form of a revolver almost and is a bit low tech in its construction. He even has to reload the energy source after about fifty shots. But despite this it is extremely powerful, and capable of blowing a small tree apart. It has a stun function on it which sends a large wave electricity threw the body acting similar to a tazer only it’s a bit stronger. It is kept on his left calf by means of a leg holster. Blaster Rounds: They look similar to a big shotgun slug. They go right where the barrel and handle meet. Generally Izo keeps about twenty or thirty on hand. Destiny: Based off the Mon Calamari Deep Water Light Freighter, it has been upgraded to his needs. The Hyperdrive and back up Hyperdrive have remained the same since he bought it. He has added two Dual Ion Cannon Turrets, one more Dual Laser Cannon Turret, and four proton torpedoes and 1 carbonite missile. One of its rooms was transformed into a holding cell, capable of holding several prisoners. Another was transformed into Izo's own personal training room. It has standard deflector shields as well as the standard ion drive. And of course, artificial gravity which he can crank up at will. It also has deep space sensors, capable of picking up almost anything in 20 million light year radius. Cargo: The destiny’s cargo includes a few mines, food and water, enough to last six months as well as extra fuel. He also keeps a speed bike with his cargo. Skills: Computers/Hacking: Without an in depth knowledge of computers it’s pretty hard to get around as a good bounty hunter. Several times he has lost someone due to not being able to operate them so he decided to learn, and learn he has. While he is no coder or master hacker he can slice into standard level security. Piloting: Izo is an excellent pilot. After all, he spends over half his life in space he best be. He has been piloting something almost all his life. Demolitions: Not only is it great fun, it comes naturally to him! He has always had a mind for how to blow shit up. And with the access to materials he has practiced quite a bit. He can disarm or arm nearly anything with a fuse. Repairing: Repairs are expensive and cost money that sometimes he just doesn’t have. After being nearly killed by crappy work by a mechanic out in the ass end of space he decided that he would be the one to take care of his bird. He has spent several years learning all there is to know about putting his ship back together and taking it apart. Tracking: Izo is a expert tracker, he can track nearly anyone threw almost any terrain. Blaster expertise: Izo is excellent shot with his blaster pistol. As its been his only line of defense far to many times so he has made it a habit to use it to the best of his abilities. And despite usually using his left hand with it, as it is his of hand, he shoots better then with his right. Kuhnari Sword Fighting Style: Izo's style of fighting utilizes a far more elegant form then most sword fighting techniques. It was created by Izo's family over two centuries ago and has been passed down to each generation. It utilizes a complex string of movements. Ducking, jumping, running off walls, and using your environment to your advantage. It is used to channel you emotions threw your movements and strikes. It is focused more so on offense and defeating your opponent quickly rather then defense. Henzo Sword Fighting Style: Another style known to Izo it was developed around the same time that the Kuhnari style was developed. Unlike the Kuhnari style the Henzo style is focused on easy, quick movements. It is a defensive style that is focused on wearing you opponent out while using as little of your energy as possible. Duelist: The Duelist style was developed by izo. It is a style with the use of a blaster and sword in mind. With your sword in one hand and blaster in the other, you use your sword to block most attacks while using your blaster to attack. At the close range of the blaster it is easy to stick it directly on someone before pulling the trigger thus making it a very effective style of fighting. Powers: Force Jump: A basic Force power. Izo knows how to use The Force to jump higher and farther then before. And while he cant go jumping twenty stories high he can jump about six or seven feet into the air. Minor Telekinesis: Using The Force, Izo is capable of moving small objects around. Generally no bigger then a filing cabinet and only one object at a time. Force Push: A basic Force power. Izo knows how to use The Force to push objects away from him. And while his abilities with it are limited he can push humans or even very large rocks about ten feet away. Bio: Born on the planet of Endor, Izo grew up learning how to track animals in the forest. He learned to hunt and fight, he also spent a considerable amount of time with the Ewoks learning how to use nature as cover and how to use your environment to your advantage. His grand father was a Jedi Knight in his younger years and taught him the basics of The Force as well as the Jedi Order. His family was known for there prestigious sword fighting style and as every generation before him, Izo and his younger brother learned the sword fighting style of there ancestors. And while outdated, it represented part of there heritage and as such up until the day they left home they where to train it by there will or not. Entranced with the beauty of sword fighting Izo wanted to learn more. He eventually became the pupil of a master sword fighter who lived twenty miles away. HE was a hermit by all sense of the word, and made Izo run to his home every day. He never allowed him to use any sort of technology in any of his lessons, and many of them where survival lessons in the forest. It was tough but no one could talk Izo out of it, he set his heart on learning everything he could. By the time he was thirteen years old and had received basic training that all younglings would receive, and then some. His Grandfather tried to get him to join the Jedi Order. Izo refused to join, because of there view on emotions and relationships. Disappointed his Grandfather refused to teach him further and two years later died. His younger brother on the other hand joined the Order and there, there separation started. At the age of sixteen Izo believed he was ready to see the galaxy for himself and left for the nearest star port. He arrived a month later in Coruscant. Not having much to offer in the way of skills other then fighting and tracking experience he joined up with a group of second rate bounty hunters. They taught him the ropes and how to use a blaster. They weren’t the best bunch, in terms of skill and morals. But they where the only group hiring rookies at the time. There he learned how to pilot as well as demolition skills and he became pretty handy with a blaster. IT was three years in, they decided to take on a job that was far above what they where use to. It was for a mob boss, another group had attacked him and he wanted them. Alive. There leader took the job confident he could pull a fast one. He loaded up a carbonite missile onto the ship and smiled as Izo walked in. “Hey I thought we where suppose to bring them in alive.” He looked at the missile and said. “It’s a Carbonite missile, it will freeze them then we will pick them up.” Izo looked at him and said. “A Carbonite Missile doesn’t have the functions needed to keep people alive; you may very well kill them. I mean it might work but odds are they are going to die.” “Don’t worry Izo, we will put them in are own carbonite holding cells and hightail it out of here once we get the money.” “It’s a bad idea..” “Look I’m the captain, I’m in charge, if you mouth off one more time your off and your dead!” Izo stormed out, and true to the Captains words that’s what they did. It took time stalking them and then getting them. But eventually they did and they took them back just like he said. Izo was right, they had been killed by the missile and by the time they got out of the city the mob boss had found out. HE called in another far more trusted group of Bounty Hunters to act as a kill squad on them. They shot there ship down over Dantooine. Izo was the only one who survived the crash. And even then his arm was broken, he had broken seven ribs and had a mild concussion. When he awoke he was in a medical bay tied down with a guy pointing a gun at him. “Ello, mate. Thought you could trick Hargath did ya? I don’t think soo.” Izo shook his head. “I told him it was a bad idea.. Dumbass. Where is Captain Pike?” The man laughed manically. “Everyone else is dead, just like your going to be soon.” Izo tried to break threw the bondages and looked at him. “When I get out im going to kill you!” “Good luck.” The man said flicking him off and walking out. As they stared to remove his bondages to move him to the cell Izo grabbed one of the men and snapped his neck before pulling his body over his in time to deflect the incoming blaster shot. He pulled the mans pistol and shot the other two men right in the head before throwing the body off of him and undoing the last of his bondages. He grabbed another mans pistol and made his way out of the medical facilities. He started to walk around the layout of the ship looking for the Armory and blasting everyone he came across. When he got there he found his sword and old equipment as well as a very nifty blaster. It seemed prehistoric but it was one of the most powerful hand held blasters he had ever seen. It was a small ship and with only about ten crew members. So by the time he had gotten to the cockpit most everyone was dead. He put the barrel of the gun on the mans head and smiled. “Goodbye mate.” He pulled the trigger and watched as the mans head scattered across the floor. “I like this gun.” He said looking at it. He took the ship to Mon Calamari Shipyards. There he traded the ship and all the cargo that he didn’t feel the need for and obtained the Destiny as he called her. Ever sense then he has been running bounty hunting missions by himself. PS. He paid Hargath back.

Not my best profile ever, but it will do.
Name: Riwan "Wight" Euni Race: Human Age: 24 Class: Force-Adept | Assassin Alignment: Grayside
Description: Riwan is a fairly average looking human at first glance, being about 180cm's of height and with a weight of 70 kilograms he is of a athletic build. Slightly pale skinned, though not unhealthily so, comming from his living most of his life in the lower sections of Nar Shadda. With numerous scars addordning his body, most being shallow cuts or bruises around his torso or limbs, along with what appears like a burn mark on the left side of his neck where he narrowly escaped a lightsaber once in his career. Despite all this Riwan does not look bad at all, infact you could go so far as to call him handsome, if a bit rugged and outlawish. He has dark brown, nearly black hair that reaches down to his ears in the front and to his neck at the back, being unkempt and hanging loosely, with the exception of his forehead where it is split somewhat by a black and grey headband worn on his forehead which appears to have some kind of technology built into it. His eyes are of an unusual grey tone, and nearly silvery when he channels the force through himself.
Riwan wears a light undersuit of pitch black fabric which covers most of his body, with the sole exception of his feet, hands and head. Over this light piece of fabric he wears what most would consider pathetically light armor, with what seems like black leather covering areas which might hinder mobility if one was wearing heavier armor, and a light sheet of metal plating over his chest and thighs, and similiar places. There is also some light plating on his palms and on the back of his hands, and though not directly a part of the armor Riwan wears a arm-guard of cortosis-alloy on his left arm, going from the wrist almost all the way up his elbow. Hidden around the leather portions of this armor is a dozen very small, very light daggers, as well as there being two larger daggers or short-swords strapped to his waist on his backside, hanging with the hilts down as if to be gripped upside-down. Other than that Riwan wears a fairly heavy black cloak with nano-fibres woven into it that makes it capable of integrating with his stealth suit and assisting in the stealth mode it possesses, while also making him blend in seamlessly with shadows or dark areas without it, as well as hiding his already hidden weaponry quite well.
Personality: When not skulking about on a assassination request, Riwan tends to spend time in the local cantiina where he socializes (as much as is possible without getting a knife in the back atleast) and enjoys his free-time like any other working person. However both his past life and his current lifestyle as an assassin has left their marks on him, making him very pesimistic, usually expecting the worst from situations and people and only truly trusting himself. Infact he doesn't even trust the force, as he sees it as 'dodging' him at times when he needs it the most, as such he prefers not to relly on it too much. If he is talking with someone he sees no reason to really associate himself with, he tends to be sarcastic and a pain in the ass, but usually not going so far as to outright insult someone. Though he is usually capable of holding a calm exterior and mostly also a calm interior, there are some things which cause slight turmoil of feelings for the force-adept. The most significant being Jedi, or atleast force-sensitives with lightsabers whom he has a deep distrust for and in some instances even shallow feelings of hate, though it is only one particular jedi, or dark jedi, whom these feelings are directly linked with.
Equipment and Possessions:
Protective Gear:
Armor: Custom Made Bothan Spy class stealth armor This highly sophisticated stealth suit is capable of generating a near-perfect stealth field while the wearer is standing still, not even appearing like a blurr in the air around him as it bends the light flawlessly. The problems begin to occur when the wearer begins to move however as the stealth suit has trouble keeping up, causing a slight blur in the air around the wearer if he is moving quickly, by for example, running. However appart from that the suit can keep its stealth field up near indefinitely and recharges on its own, though needing as much time to recharge as its stealth was used. The armor is not very good for protection, as it is a cropped down variation of the generic type it is based on to allow faster movement, however it can successfully protect against generic blaster fire for atleast one shot on a metal plate without it being pierced, but that is also the limit.
Cortosis Arm-Guard A protective band of cortosis-alloy that covers ones wrist and partially the elbow. Though cortosis is fairly brittle, it is not well suited to be used to block normal weapons or vibro-blades, the cortosis-alloy used for this arm-guard is fairly solid, but not perfect, so mere strength will not break it when used against lightsabers, however because of this it does not possess the disabling abilities of pure cortosis.
Close-Combat Weaponry
Sacred Sacrifice: The two long-dagger type blades that Riwan use when forced into close combat or when needing something 'bigger' than his regularly used weapon. The blades are near identical, both having blades of about two and a half decimeters length, with one decimeter hilts that is nearly flat with several holes going along them to allow for quickly changing the way one holds the weapon without having to let go of it. The blades of the daggers are slightly curved, but only so much as to make the daggers more painfull on the way out than in, designed to create massive internal injuries if one is stabbed, while still retaining the ability to block and cut with the edges of the blades. The name of each blade is engraved on the base of the blade, sacred in gold and sacrifice in red. Out of habit or for another reason, Sacred is most often used as a defensive weapon while Sacrifice tends to be the one that deals the finishing blow.
Vengeance: A one and a half decimeters in length bladed dagger hidden under Riwan's cortosis arm-guard. The blade is a complicated work of art with the center of the dagger being made of a solid variation of cortosis-alloy, while the immidiate edges of the blade is comprised of near perfect cortosis, enabling the dagger, designed to be used more as a defensive weapon, to disable lightsabers it comes in contact with. However due to the small amount covering the blades edge the disabling effect is only temporary, with a standard time of about 30 seconds.
Ranged Weaponry
DXR-7 Disruptor Rifle: A heavily modified variation of the DXR-6 disruptor rifle which Riwan has made to fit his needs. Looking more like a traditional real world sniper rifle the DXR-7 has a long barrel with several protrusions in the form of 'rings' running along it which contain generators which further concentrate and condence the energy sent from the gun enabling it to fire incredible distances normally not possible by Disruptor class weapons. Thus this weapon is able to fire nearly two kilometers without a significant loss in power or precision, with the shot being able to reach up to three kilometers while still possessing the power to mortally wound a unarmored target. With a scope to match its ranged potential and black paint covering the entire rifle it is hard to not see how it is an assassination weapon, and due to its size Riwan only uses it when he knows exactly when and where a target will be, and if the location will allow the use of the terrifying weapon. Due to the excessive amount of energy used in a rifle like this it can only fire five shots before needing to be reloaded, which is a complicated process which can take up to a minute, but if things go as planned Riwan rarely fires more than one shot.
Light Throwing Daggers: Riwan carries a collection of twenty very light and very sharp throwing daggers all scattered and hidden in the leather portions of his stealth suit, along with several being in his cloak. The daggers themselves are just a few millimeters thick, with a one inch wide blade that lessens along its three inch blade into a fine tip. The 'hilt' is essentially just a short balancing stick of metal. Though incredibly light, the edges of the daggers have been laser sharpened and are capable of piercing armor if they hit the right spot, but Riwan usually targets blind-spots in an armor, like the exposed under-armor in many heavier kinds. The daggers are made from a alloy made by combining terenthium and desh, making the already light daggers even lighter, which enables Riwan to easily control them using the force.
Skills:
Stealth: Very few have mastered the art of sneaking silently or remaining unseen as well as Riwan, and with the help of his stealth suit and force powers, this is just improved.
Precision: Riwan is incredibly accurate, be it from his own extensive training or his connection to the force hardly matters, but Riwan is capable of pin-pointing a very small area even while on the move with his throwing daggers, and able to bulls-eye someone with his rifle from its max range with ease.
Double-Blade Style: Having learned how to fight with dual-blades all his life Riwan is very skilled with his long daggers and is able to match even a jedi knight as long as he is on the defensive. His unique style only aids him in fighting Jedi, what with its unpredictability that is nearly of the same level as that of a lightsaber.
Scoundrel: Because of his early life being that of a pick-pocket and general mischiefmaker, and then his assassin training, Riwan learned the essentials in how to pickpocket someone, hijack standard veichles as well as pick or hack basic to fairly advanced locks.
Street-wise: Being connected to the criminal underworld has its benifits, especially on a planet like Nar Shadda, the Smuggler's Moon. Riwan has many contacts in the many criminal organizations which rule the moon, along with a dozen or so people he can go to incase he needs specifik information on more sensitive subjects.
Powers:
Levels of Control: While Riwan is very strong in the force, he is nearly completely hopeless when it comes to the aspects of how to control it, having more or less ignored one large aspect of training involving the ability to sense the force around themselves, and though he can do it already it is not even close to the level needed to move on to the next level with sure steps. As such Riwan's outward based force powers are either raw force energy or violently produced telekenesis which makes him shine like a beacon to other force users. Luckily he can keep it on a down-low when not using any powers.
Force Telekenesis: Including the general abilities of Force Push and Pull, this also enables Riwan to lift objects, however such actions requires tremendous concentration on his part which is very taxing and impractical during a fight. However he is able to pull or push if given a moment of concentration before he lashes out with one or both hands as he most often yells in a show of exagaration in order to "force" the force to obey him. He has essentially just one way of using push, full power, which is master level due to his strength, but very chaotic. Due to extensive training he is able to manipulate one or two of his incredibly light throwing daggers using 'lift' and one of his hands.
Hide in Plain Sight: One of Riwan's partially self-taught abilities, this power focuses the force like a invisible mist around him that, essentially, makes him invisible to non-force-sensitives. It is not that he actually turns invisible, it is more that one cannot focus on him and thus kind of "ignores" his precense. Unless someone is directly searching for him, or looking at an area closely (already being very perceptive) it is near impossible to spot him while utilizing this power. However due to his badly trained nature, if Riwan uses this power he needs his full force concentration to hold it up, making him unable to use any other force abilities in the meantime.
Force Concealment: Having both been briefly trained by a force adept, and having fought dark jedi and the like Riwan has learned the importance of holding a low profile. This is doubly important when planning to strike at a force-sensitive and as such Riwan has learned the art of Force Concealment, where one is able to appear force-blind to other force sensitives. However Riwan is not very skilled in this kind of art and as such anyone of master level could still feel his precense at a slight distance, even if it is weak. Just like with his other ability of this kind, Riwan is only able to keep this one ability active on its own.
Force Weapon: A basic ability among jedi, but an improvised one for Riwan. Allowing him to fight a lightsaber wielding Jedi with just his daggers, surrounding them in the force and protecting them from the violent energy of the lightsaber. While not particularly skilled in this art, Riwan can use it along with other basic battle powers.
Battle Augmentations: This includes abilities such as Force Speed, Force Jump and improvement of reflexes and reactiontimes, of which Riwan is somewhere between Padawan and Knight level, though his lack of control makes him fairly slow in gathering enough 'force' to make long jumps and his speed takes some time to build up when intending to run long distances.
Bio Riwan lost his parents at a young age, the family being refugees they had little foothold on the dangerous moon of Nar Shadda, and his father soon ended up dead on the streets with his mother being taken somewhere to pay the debts his father had accumulated over the years. Being seven years old at the time Riwan ended up on the streets and was just barely getting by with scrapes of food and whatever edible garbage was left for homeless scavengers like him. One year later however the boy began to overcome his fears and attempted the first of what would become a multitude of pick-pocketing.
The act ended in success, and for the first time in a long time Riwan was able to eat properly. He continued like that, chosing his targets carefully while building up his talents over the years until he hit the age of twelve, when he attempted to pick-pocket a robed man who seemed to have quite a bit of credits on him. Having followed the man for a few hours Riwan had seen him do quite a number of stops at several more... Luxurious stores, along with taking note of where the man had his credits. Riwan struck just as the man entered a dark area under one of the many catwalks within the city, using the lack of light to mask his approach and just as he was about to skillfully grasp the valuables he suddenly got an intense feeling of danger. Reacting as if on instinct, Riwan pulled his hand back and staggered backwards from the robed man, just as a blade came slashing the air where his wrist had been a mere moment ago.
Though most of the mans face was hidden in shadow, he had an unmistakable surprise written on his face. A second later the man put the blade back under his robe and started approaching Riwan, who had been too scared to move until now. But when the other man took one step toward him the young boy shot off into the opposite direction like a rocket, disappearing from view in moments. The robed man however just smirked, as he had found what he was searching for.
Later that same evening Riwan came 'home' to a part of the nearby refugee slums he called home for the time being, with the same robed man waiting for him. The young boy immidiately turned to run, but was suddenly stopped by an invisible force that grabbed ahold of him and turned him back around. The robed man held one of his arms out toward Riwan with his palm closed in a grip, not a tight one, but a grip nontheless. Without saying anything the man approached Riwan who was so scared he was about to wet his pants, but was unable to make a peep. Then the robed man suddenly crouched down infront of him, pulling his arm back as he looked Riwan in the face. The man looked to be a human in his mid-thirties, with long unkempt hair hanging down over his ears and down his neck under the hood, and currently he wore a mild smile on his face as he released the weak grip he had on Riwan.
"You carry the same gift as I. Follow me and I will teach you to use it, and you won't have to live the rest of your life like a stain on some Hutt's ass." Though not quite the most charismatic fellow, his words held power beyond the voice itself and Riwan found himself captured by it. Though there were obvious risks with trusting anyone on Nar Shadda, he figured that with the power this man apparently possessed he would not bother with a small child without a reason, and he had said that he also possessed that same power... Perhaps he was refering to the strange feeling that Riwan had gotten whenever something was about to become dangerous, and he reacted without thinking just like when he had avoided getting his hand cut off? It was worth the risk.
From there the man who Riwan learned to call Shade, a simple nickname to hide the mans true identity, but a fitting one given the mans like of always keeping in the dark and what he taught Riwan, began to teach the boy in the ways of stealth, guile and the force. Given the boys background he easily picked up on the first two, however his incredible lack of profficiency with controling the force caused Shade great distres, and it is easy to speculate he only kept training Riwan due to how exceptional his potential was and how his skill with stealth made up for most of what he was lacking. However the man was not as good a teacher as he thought, skipping many of the basic, but vital, parts of sensing and percieving the force around and within oneself that many Jedi students found frustrating and annoying, as they saw them as pointless. The very reason Riwan never truly mastered how to utilize his force potential by the time his master died.
After spending six years in training Riwan was by far one of the best assassins in the lower sections of Nar Shadda, the area he called home while being tutored by Shade along with the area of his 'work'. According to Shade, it was all just small-fry and more practical training for the boy, his goal was to make Riwan into the best assassin the galaxy had ever seen. And though he definitely made a dangerous one, he would never live to see the results of his efforts. When out on one of their traditional 'practice' assassinations Riwan was intercepted by a black robed man just as he was about to strike at his target, and had he not followed his instincts once more he'd nearly have been cut in half as the man flashed a green lightsaber in a wide-arc, missing Riwan by mere centimeters.
Though the energy sword was intimidating Riwan had matured quite a bit over the years and more over was well trained to handle emotions such as fear or panic, and so rather than freeze up like he would otherwise have done he jumped back while keeping his cool, as he pulled out a dozen throwing knives from within his many pockets, ready to throw them in a hail of sharp stabbity death. Before either of the two chose to act however Shade came inbetween them, brandishing his longsword like blade that was glowing blue due to the force surrounding it. The blades met and sparks flew all over the alley they were in, and though the two seemed evenly matched as they swung their weapons back and forth, attacking and parrying each others flawlessly, it soon became clear that Shade was losing as despite the force surrounding his weapon it was still taking damage along with the man himself starting to become tired.
Then before he realized he should step in to aid his master the decisive blow was struck, as the jedi swung his blade with all his might and Shade being barely able to raise his own sword in time to block it, but he had made a mistake and the lightsabers blade hit a already severely weakened point on the sword and cut straight through, continuing ahead and nearly severing Shade's neck in half. The man nearly instantly fell to the ground as he was grasping for his damaged beyond repair throat, while Riwan stared at the scene in shock. Though he realized that Shade was more or less done for, he still reacted when the jedi now raised his saber to deal the finishing blow and end Shade's life.
The jedi reacted near instantly as the throwing knives left Riwan's hands, and yet he had thrown them in such a fashion that even the jedi had trouble avoiding and blocking them all as two knives impacted the mans left shoulder and shortly below his right arms wrist, which he had used to protect his head while the lightsaber had 'deflected' another knife that could very well have pieced his heart otherwise. The knives were small however, designed to cause harm by hitting a persons vitals, and as such it did not stop the Jedi much as he began to run toward Riwan with his lightsaber at the ready.
Riwan drew the two blades given to him by his master and though he wasn't sure what he was going to do, a flash of insight made him realize what his master had done previously. However he had no idea how to do it himself, but luck would have it that he managed to pull it off instinctually just as the Jedi slashed with his saber. Sparks flew everywhere as the lightsaber connected with Sacred, having managed to cut nearly half-way through the long-dagger before Riwan's Force Weapon had truly settled in. Less than a moment later and he would have been dead now.
This did not stop the Jedi however, who nearly instantly pulled his lightsaber back and struck once more, as Riwan raised his own blades to defend himself. Another shower of sparks and another cut had been formed in the blade, not as deep but it was obvious that Riwan would be overpowered soon. Despite this Riwan managed to hold the Jedi off for nearly half a minute as he continously blocked and dodged the lightsaber slashes, however just like with his master it was clear he could not last for very long, and the only reason he had lasted at all was due to the daggers still stuck in the Jedi, slightly hampering his movements.
Then the Jedi's endless barrage finally struck true, as he managed to strike Riwan's Sacrifice dagger out of his hand, following by a swipe toward the young assassins neck. Riwan was stronger in the force than his master however and with luck this connection gave him the 'foresight' to attempt to dodge this attack, while at the same time he grasped a throwing dagger with his now free hand and tossed it at the Jedi's face. Though Riwan managed to just barely dodge the fatal blow of the lightsaber, it still cut into his throat, just barely missing the vital areas but still causing Riwan to collapse in pain. At the same time the Jedi let out a loud painfull cry as he doubled over at the dagger that had pierced his left eye.
Most likely thinking he had already dealt the assassin a fatal blow, the Jedi began to hurry off in the opposite direction while cursing to himself, as he pulled the daggers embedded in his body out and tossed them to the ground. A short while later Riwan managed to pull himself toghether, walking up to the body of his master while still grasping the side of his neck he payed his respects to the man whom had been the closest thing he'd ever had to a true father. Returning to the quarters of his master, Riwan was determined to live up to his expectations, and become the best assassin in the entire galaxy.
Many years passed as Riwan improved his skills, took increasingly difficult tasks and eventually made quite a name for himself in Nar Shadda as one of, if not the best, assassin.
((Note: The 'Jedi' was actually a Dark Jedi, thus his aggressive actions. However Riwan would hardly know such a thing at the time.))
