Hello everyone - I just wanted to ask a quick question:
I know that most Shinigami are human; that much is obvious - But some such as Komamura are anthropomorphic animals. My question is as follows: Is it possible to have a non-human shinigami, like Komamura?

This is an issue that has been discussed here in the past and we have decided that because there is little-to-no explanation as to why Komamura is how he is, it'd be for the better that we avoid using anthropomorphic characters. While I personally fully understand the appeal since there is Komomura, thus opening the doors of possibility, and we try to allow for as much creative expression as far as our characters, the lack of explanation simply makes it a difficult matter to come to agreement upon so unless you have a completely realistic, acceptable proposal as to explain why your character would be anthro, I'd suggest against it.

Ah.
I was hoping to use my Viera, Artemis, (Mainly because her biography is huge; around 18,000-20,000 characters minus her weapon) but there is no logical explanation as to why she'd be in Seireitei.
Thanks for the information anyway; I'll just have to dig out another biography, eh?
