I was linked to this site by another person. While I am a bit fickle in personality and can easily get distracted, I am reputable roleplayer on another forum community which I've dedicated a large amount of personal time to shape. Most of that focus, at the time, was on the combat aspect of roleplaying. Even though I suspect it is slightly irrelevant overall, my past is linked with some of the larger groups on the former Yahoo chat rooms (before they devolved into an ugly session of 'guy/girl private roleplay').
However, I'm not the largest fan of being limited in ability based on 'say so'. I read through the section on the front that listed the power levels of the various entities and was a bit concerned that if I were to join I would be beat up solely because of 'I say so'. That is one of my largest pet peeves.
Basically, my query is this - if a sufficiently explained bio of quality and length were created, would it be permissible to start a chosen level?
I'm also a bit of a 'hater' about lists that rank power of a character solely because they are usually inaccurate. A clever individual can defeat a more powerful one through plans and ingenuity.
If you could address my concerns and the question, I would greatly appreciate it.

First off, welcome to the site Inquirer For the chain of equivalence, that's really there as a basic guide and isn't set in stone; as you said, you can very well beat someone of a higher class than you with proper planning. As to starting at a certain level, depends on the character you're making. You are free to apply for any rank you want as long as you can meet the requirements for it, and the position is open in the case of certain positions (espada, shinigami seats, vizard council) Feel free to ask any other questions here or in the cbox when people are on. (We encourage asking about things you don't understand)..

I'll stick with the forums. I'm more comfortable with them then chat. Yahoo kind of killed any liking I had for chatrooms.
I'll browse a bit more to look through things and see what positions are open. I don't know how long it will take me. I am very slow to get going, but once I am.... well, you'll hopefully see.
