"It's always a blast, and it keeps blood thirsty zanpakuto spirits happy for a while, and not trying to drive you up a wall."
“If only my inner hollow was more like that.” Ein said with a small grin as the lines in his palms turned purple; the reitsu around his hands thickening rapidly. His body convulsed for a split second, taking in recognition for his former level of power and attempting to access it. The attempt was shut off by Ein’s automatic system and shoved the power of Tsume up towards him with a crash and a roar.
“WAKE UP YOU IDIOT! I WILL NOT BE MADE A FOOL OF!”
“Right!” Ein’s fists shot forward creating the purple outlines of Shintan Tsume’s claws. Ein didn’t wait for Geki to strike him; he rushed forward flipping over the attack and swinging down at Shin with the gained length of his attacks. Ein was mentally disgusted with his rate of speed and thought as soon as he got the chance he was going to practice shunpo. Growling at Shin, he reentered Zanjitsu form and threw a series of wild strikes at him trying to prevent him from using his zanpakuto’s power’s even attempting to grab at the blade.
Tsume meanwhile was blistering inside of the sword; eager for blood shed of any kind. His body had tensed and every moment, every blow, every bit of reitsu used made him more and more vicious which was transferred into the power of the shikai pumping up its power. Soon Ein’s mental land scape grew darker as the Dragon roared. “Damn you Ein and your games, stop analyzing and show them our full power. At this rate, I am finding you unworthy of the secrets of Bankai! You are not fit to wield me!”
Ite flipped up his hat and took minor control of Ein’s vocal cords for a moment as he had won a bet with him earlier for it. The result created an echo effect in Ein’s voice as Ite’s gruff older voice mixed with Ein’s more youthful and vivacious voice. “Yo, you mind keeping it down punk!? If he pulls his mask, I swear I ain’t holdin back.” With that finished Ite gave full control back to Ein, then beratted Tsume for his brashness.

Well things were heating up quickly. Ein had flipped over his bakudo and charged at him, but not before growing two foot long claws of purple reiatsu. He quickly hopped back before Ein could rake him, twisting and moving away to evade his flurry of strikes. He couldn't avoid getting a few cuts in his arms and chest despite of things though; maybe it was time to actually fight at full power.
No, you think? I'm not cleaning you up if you get yourself shredded.
However, it seemed that Ein was going to make the decision for Shin, one of his swipes clipping his headband, the claws damaging the reiatsu suppression device. The surge of reiatsu as Shin gained access to his full power was apparent, as he pulled on Kumori's fox-tail just as Ein made a grab for it, not only pulling it out of the way, but pulling the sword towards him at high speed. He angled the blade to try and cut into Ein's shoulder on the way back, making sure to release the energy when it passed by him for insurance.
Grabbing his zanpakuto, he started parrying Ein's progressively more aggressive strikes with blows of his own, making use of Kumori's dark energy to attempt to wear away his claws. At least until he heard an echo coming from Ein.
“Yo, you mind keeping it down punk!? If he pulls his mask, I swear I ain’t holdin back."
"Oh really?" This Shin wanted to see. Showing more speed than he had used for the battle so far, he flipped over a swipe from Ein, hopping on solidified reiatsu in the air before suddenly shifting directions and launching himself straight at the vizard, his zanpakuto glowing with energy.
"Then I won't hold back either, Kumori katsu."
The wave of concentrated black energy shot out of his blade, aiming to slash through Ein's claws, and leave quite a mark on the vizard. Along with tearing out a chunk of his reiatsu of course.

Ein stood still for a moment and swung his claws at the black energy in his fury; thats when his eyes lit up and he noticed some of the reitsu from the claws was being eatten away. Lurching out of the way he managed to avoid the attack with only the outlines being eatten away. He bit down and decided he should just grin and bear what this could could dish out for now. He didn't particularly like calling to his hollow for help and made it a habit to only use the mask when necessacry. He cracked his knuckles as the claws reformed themselves though weaker than previously. "Not bad kiddo...seems you lucked up and got a drainer type...Rare those things are, but a bit too cheap for my taste. That and its hard to cause someone to bleed and my zanpakuto...CRAVES it...."
Ein grinned a little as Tsume barked insults mentally at him, just before he bounced off one of the buildings beside him and dashed forward at Darkoda swinging down with his right claw to distract while his left one shot forward toward his guts. "Ahh come now my young friend, this is just a friendly little game, no reason to get worked up to the point where you make me pull my mask: I wouldn't want either of us to get hurt." Ein chuckled at his joke as he was more likely to come out harmed if it came to the point he had to put on that accursed mask.
"So Dark, you said you were in what divison? I remember you said you were the fifth seat, but I didn't get much more above that. My memory hasn't been the best over this past decade and its starting to bug me. Also who all is in charge now? Have any of the Captains been replaced in the last hundred years? Have we made any progress anywhere? Though I loathe to ask as certain events have agiated me against them, however I'm not above forgiving." Ein said this all blantally and quickly almost in a single breath.

Shin watched on with a smirk as Ein's feral look faded away to surprise as he tried to stop the energy slash. It seemed that someone realised what his zanpakuto was capable of. The destruction of those claws was a positive, although he made new ones later.
"Not bad kiddo...seems you lucked up and got a drainer type...Rare those things are, but a bit too cheap for my taste. That and its hard to cause someone to bleed and my zanpakuto...CRAVES it...."
Shin scoffed at the backhanded insult. "You think you can't get cut? Come closer and I'll show you how much you can bleed." His zanpakuto was already glowing with dark energy again, the flaking energy making his sword seem like a blade of black flames. As Ein charged at him, he flipped back, avoiding both the initial strike and the follow-up stab attempt, and swung Kumori forward, releasing another wave of energy at the vizard. He was already gathering energy again when Ein reacted to his attack.
"Ahh come now my young friend, this is just a friendly little game, no reason to get worked up to the point where you make me pull my mask: I wouldn't want either of us to get hurt."
"The chuckling kills the credibility of your statement, but don't worry about me; I'm not the one who is likely to get hurt." With that, he spun Kumori's fox tail around again and threw the energy coated blade at Ein, this time launching himself after it, aiming to flip over Ein and end up behind him, where he could respond to his likely dodge attempt with another Kumori katsu.
Though I loathe to ask as certain events have agiated me against them, however I'm not above forgiving."
What a way to ask a question.... "Second division, and if you're so curious, the second and ninth divisions have new captains, and the eleventh needs a new one. I doubt that you would know the second division captain, but the ninth is headed by Laetitia now. As for progress, how am I supposed to know? I don't know what things were like before you left. Do try to remember this time." He said this with a hint of boredom in his tone.
