Personality
Uryuujin is a firm believer in balance. It is his belief that there must always be evil as well as good in the world, and in people. They cannot exist without each other. Thus he has taken on the role of equalizer, destroying anything which seeks to upset the balance too much. It is this sense of equality and justice that he uses to be an effective leader.
However, he somehow also pulls off a Rebellious personality, with a tendency to bend the rules to near breaking point. He seems to delight in finding loopholes and little escapes from punishment. This is advantageous when Uryuujin finds an 'unbalancing' factor.
However, though a rebel and an idealist, he is at heart a kind soul, amiable to talk to and always willing to help subordinates. As well, Uryuujin has a bit of a soft spot for Humans, who he sees as the underdogs. He hopes that they can get on their feet to form a better defense against all their foes. He is also a bit under-confident about almost everything about himself, save finding those Loopholes, and his judgment of the Balance.
Battle for Uryuujin is something altogether different. If he is a man you can look up to outside the battlefield, in the midst of fighting he becomes one to be feared. Whenever he holds his Zanpakuto in his hands, he becomes an insane juggernaut of destruction. He revels in the slaughter of his enemies, and is very hard to stop once he builds up his momentum. Do not think him out of control, however. His sword helps him to calm down once the battle is over.
History:
Life:
Uryuujin was born at the time of the winter solstice, now known as December 22nd, 991 B.C.E. He lived in a small village in Japan, with his friend Tensile and a few villagers, during a pre-historic age in history, right smack dab in the middle of the Jômon period. Such a lifestyle is simple, not too eventful at the early villages and farms in the region. However, due to the natural way of the world, and of men, interesting things can occur, for good or Evil.....
While Uryuujin was still a young one of 11, he waited for his father to return from hunting. Meanwhile, he played with a friend, Tensaiji, who was quite strange for a person, even one of 8 years. While they were playing, Tensaiji cut himself on a rock, and was crying. However, the strangest thing Uryuujin had ever seen occurred as soon as he went close to his cut friend. He could see strange blue things in the air around himself fly toward his friend's cut, healing it without even leaving a mark. Neither of them could believe what had happened, so they ignored it, and went home.
In the year that Uryuujin turned 20, but when still 19, a strange man came into their village, unarmed and strangely dressed. When he caught sight of Tensaiji, he shouted to him and took him away, speaking as they went. Very confused, Uryuujin followed beyond hearing distance, to make sure that this stranger did not harm his friend. After a few hours of them speaking, They split off, The man in a direction leading north and west of the Village, and Tensaiji toward the village. Uryuujin caught up to his friend as they reached the village. "What was that about?" he asked, but did not get a reply.
When they entered the village, they saw a group of people huddled around something. Not knowing what, they both ran up, and shoved their way through the crowd. When they saw what was lying in the center of the circle, with a woman sobbing next to it, it became clear. Uryuujin's father had been killed, by his brother Kain, by accident, when a stray arrow missed its target and plunged into the man's heart. Uryuujin became depressed and nearly beat his uncle to death. Hours later, he sat crying over his father's death, but stopped as he saw his father outside the village, still during the later hours of sunlight.
Excited, he ran toward the man, until he noticed that a strange sort of gray rope was hanging from his chest. As soon as he came into his father's eyesight, the thing became alive, and ate itself up to his chest, and then he screamed. A bloodcurdling scream that rent the air around him, though it appeared as though none but he could hear it. Then, his father disappeared, leaving Uryuujin frightened and even more depressed than before. As he turned, Tensaiji ran up, saying "Did you hear that yell!? Please tell me you did!"
Later that night, he went outside, suffering insomnia thanks to the strange apparition, and saw a large being outside the village again. Thinking it might be the man who raised him, he ran toward it, and stopped a few hundred yards away. For the creature before him did not appear to be his father.
It was larger, and very man-like in appearance, save that his hands were large spheres with what appeared to be arrow-like quills sticking out of them. The head was a large white mask, with a strange letter embedded in the forehead. He had barely any time to cry out before one of these quills found him, killing him where he stood. Weirdly enough, as he left his body, he looked down at his new spiritual form, and found the quill being absorbed into his body in the same place as the Hollow's hole. Then, everything went dark.
Death:
Uryuujin woke up to a crowd staring at him as he lay in the dirt. He did not recognize them or the area they were at, so was a bit confused. Then he remembered seeing his dead father, and the strange creature as well. He looked down, panicking, and noticed a few things.
First, he wasn't wearing anything from the waist up, which was strange since he remembered wearing his favorite shirt that day. Second, that he had physically changed. He was darker than he remembered being, darker than any of his fair-skinned family. As well, it seemed that he had grown much stronger and larger while he slept. His shoulders were more broad, and his arms thicker, to match his legs. There was no fat at all left that he could see.
Then he saw where the Spine had struck him. It was a strange marking, a symbol of some sort. It was a perfect circle, separated into two parts by a wavy line, with one side black and the other white. As well, on the Black side, where it bulged the most was a White circle, while the opposite thing happened on the other. He later learned the meaning of this symbol: Yin and Yang.
He then stood up quickly, startling the group around him. He noticed a strange wooden object. it was cylindrical, bulging in the center and tapering off toward the flat ends. There were two black rings, near the top and bottom. He later learned about Barrels, but for now only knew it had water in it. Running over to the barrel- and noticing how much faster he was- he looked down at the reflection, that was his, yet not.
His hair had darkened into an even deeper black than its original color, while on the ends about a half inch was white. It had also lengthened to end about halfway down his neck in the back, to the bottom of his ears on the side, and past his brow in the front. His face had become more angular than before, stripped of all remaining fat. This revealed a strong Jawline, and pronounced cheek-bones, as if he had been going without food. His Eyes were now different colors and very disturbing colors at that. His right eye had whites still, which darkened to deep blue, fading back to a white pupil. The other was much more frightening... The White had become black, which faded to a Maroon iris that burned with an inner fire, as if Hell itself were contained inside, which then darkened back to a black pupil. His eyebrows had changed as well, being the same black as his hair, and outlined with white. Luckily, these changed did nothing to inhibit his eyesight.
Actually, he seemed okay, better than okay. Uryuujin felt better than he ever had in life! He could see and hear much better than he could before. He could taste the wind to see what smells were nearby, as if he were a snake. He could feel small changes in the wind, but knew that should a time come where he was in pain, he could cast it aside. However, though physically alright, he was not doing too well emotionally. Uryuujin was shocked and confused. Where was he? What happened to his village? What had happened to him?
Dazed and confused, he left the clean and warm village he found himself in, unknowingly headed for the Zaraki district of Soul Society.

For a a few centuries, Uryuujin wandered Soul Society, killing those who tried to kill him, still dazed about his presence in this strange place. As he did, however, pieces began falling into place. He became extremely fast and strong, and resilient to pain and injury. Soon, there were many who feared him, but he was very...just. He began learning about his place, and also started making connections that he wouldn't have otherwise. He read books that finally pointed him to the thesis he lives by:
a) There is a balance between good and evil in every part of existence.
b) This balance is essential for the survival of all things.
c) Those who try and turn the cosmic balance either one way or another are the true bringers of evil.
Thus, he decided to try and uphold this balance, fighting thugs who would harm innocents, but also allowing fighting amongst everyone, knowing that it was a natural part of existence. At points , he would be surrounded by too many for him to handle. When this happened, he would black out, only to find out that all enemies had been ripped to shreds. Feeling strangely rejuvinated, he would assume that there was something helping him out.
One day, while trying to stop a group of rabble-rousers from attacking a carriage, he met Meian Murad I.
Murad I was a Shinigami, a very influential man behind the scenes, and a very powerful Shinigami in his own right. He noticed that Uryuujin had a strong Reiatsu, and offered him a chance to go to the Shinigami Academy. This, Uryuujin gladly agreed to.
Academy:
At the beginning of his Academy career, Uryuujin was very alone. Not only was his frightening appearance a factor in keeping him ostrasized, the rumors of his killings also made him feared by his peers. The worst part was that some of the worse ones were true. Though he excelled at Fighting classes enough to train against final year students in his first year, his Kido took a hit due to his slightly more pessimistic attitude.
Then, Meian walked into his life.
Meian was the son of the Shinigami who influenced Uryuujin's future, but Meian himself would influence it beyond compare. He was the first to reach out to Uryuujin, and eventually others followed his lead, including the future Jerimiah Seikigan, captain of squad 8. He began liking his position in life once more, and thus those subjects he was failing got better and better, until he was 8th in his class for all but Fighting. It was not long until his Zanpakuto showed itself to him. The Academy was Uryuujin's second favorite time period in his life, tailing closely to the next.
The Gotei 13:
Uryuujin was quite powerful after graduating along with Meian. Thus, it was nearly instantaneous that he was granted 6th seat in Squad 11. Not to be outdone, his comrade became the 3rd seat in Squad 4. They both fit in easily to their new roles, even rising through the ranks. Uryuujin's abilities had been underestimated, and before long he became the Vice-Captain for squad 11, though all knew it was just a matter of time before he became Captain. He was more powerful than the current, but decided to say at Vice-Captain, due to the higher amount of flexibility it gave him.
There was only one problem with this arrangement. Since his Zanpakuto was one that copied others, it would not have been accepted among the 11th squad. They would have considered him too weak to use his own power, instead relying on the power of others. It was to prevent this that he discovered that, when he dragged the tip of his blade along the ground, defiling it, his Zanpakuto would become irritated to not go to it's regular Shikai, as he asked. Insted, it would become a black Spatha-style bastard sword with a large cross guard, Black with white orbs on the side points. This new blade had no special abilities. However, it looked battle-worthy enough to be accepted by his peers. Overall, this lack of power helped him, making it a bit more challenging to use in battle.
Meian stayed at Vice-Captain as well, and the two stayed thick as theives. They were inseperable outside of their duties. As well, Meian had introduced Uryuujin to all new kinds of people, and made many good friends. Life was good for the Shinigami.
But it was not to last.
The Accident:
That day had started as usual, Uryuujin waking up and working out as he did every day. After a good breakfast, he headed over to the Fighting dojo, where many of his fellow 11 members were already warming up.
"Hey, guys. What d'you think about a group spar? Eight of you against me? I won't use my right hand, promise!" He inquired, switching the Bokken from his right to his left. "Sound fun? Lets make it 10 though." The ten best fighters under him in rank got ready to fight. Two others were in the back making bets.
Uryuujin grinned evilly, and got into a fighting stance. "I'm ready when you fellas are....."

Walking out of the dojo, Uryuujin almost felt sorry for the opponents. They would be extremely sore all day as they went about their duties. Especially the guy he'd kicked into a table on the far side of the building. I wonder if Kurei will heal that broken arm before next Thursday? He thought to himself.
Going up to where the Captain resided, he had a brief meeting with him, and left.
The rest of the day began passing uneventfully. The squad was abuzz about a child prodigy that had conned one of their members out of their position. The Captain thought she was amusing, but Uryuujin hadn't met her yet, so he wouldn't be able to take sides.
He went on his rounds, making sure that all was well in Seireite. Then he made his way to the Assignment board, and found himself on Rukongai rounds as well that day, partnered with a Shinigami from another division. Damn, a weakling getting- he began to curse inwardly, when he noticed the Partner's name. Meian, Vice-Captain Squad 4. Much better.

Meian and Uryuujin were two-thirds of the way through their rounds when they were ambushed by a group of malcontents. Usually, this wouldn't be too much of a problem, however, they had started by incapactitating Meian. Fury rose quickly in Uryuujin, and his world became tinted in red.
The part of his chest that held Yin and Yang turned, and showed the symbol reversed. As it finally 'clicked' into place, white stuff began accumulating around the left side of his head. Soon, his head was encased in the top of a Dragon's Skull...well, thats what it looked like. Its scales were alternately black and white, and spines went down his back, right above his spine. The horns that proturded behind his head were black. His Eyes, however, had 'switched' colors, his right eye lookin like his left and Vice Versa.
He was watched from his eyes as his body began to act of it's own accord. He heard a new being speaking with his voice. "Greetings, weakling fools! Are you prepared to die this day?!? AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAA!!!!!!!" It laughed, and dragged the point of his Zanpakuto on the ground. "Wareru, Kurokongouseki! (Cleave, Black Diamond!)". At this, his Half-Zanpakuto materialized, called Kuroigen for short. It laughed insanely, and launched itself at the enemies, Kuro-Kon raised in deadly preparation.
It began cutting through the opponents as quickly as diamond through paper.
Soon, it had completely destroyed the group, and moved towards the nearest settled part of Rukongai. NO!! Uryuujin yelled inwardly, as he listened to the thoughts of the other occupant that he was finally able to hear.
Oh! You can hear me now, eh? That makes this aaaaall the better. Watch, as Tyr the Invincible destroys these lives....yours AND their's! Ahahahahahahaa!! It mocked, and began running.
Before he could get to the Village however, Uryuujin's arm flew up and grabbed the left edge of the Mask's jaw, and began pulling. He could feel the being in him struggle against his will, but to no avail.
The jaw of the mask broke off, and crumbled to dust in his hand, as did the rest of his new attributes, revealing Uryuujin's usual self once more. However, this marked the ending of all that Uryuujin had loved in this new life he had built.
The Fall[/u]
The 42 had sentenced him to Death.
There was no reason why they shouldn't, seeing as he was a creature beyond any control. An unholy union between Hollow and Shinigami. A Vizard. And the Vaizard were not smiled upon in Soul Society. The news spread quickl;y, and Uryuujin, previously respected and feared in a good way, became a Villan, an Abomination. He was reviled and feared by those who had laughed alongside him not Three days ago.
Only one still accepted him: Meian.
Late at night, the day after the Trial had found him to be condemned, Meian broke into the Prison and freed him from all of his Bindings. Afterwards, the Two somehow managed to escape to the World of the living. They knew that they would both be outcasts, with no ties to anyone. Finding someone who would sell them Gigai, they assiumilated into society, as wanderers in 19th Century America, dissapearing altogether.

Approximately 83 years later, at the end of the First World War, Uryuujin had another attack from his Inner Hollow, Tyr. This time he killed 16 innocent people, one a small boy who had seen him.
"I cannot handle these attacks anymore, Meian. I refuse to continue this horrible existance while my Balance becomes ultimately evil. I must find help for this!" Uryuujin yelled, exasperated beyond belief. The guilt weighed heavily upon him, and he was close to ending his own life to stop it.
"And I will help you find it." Meian told his friend. "And it's not as bad as you think. These episodes are becoming less frequent. This was only the Second one this year, and its already August! Remember when we first started, these came once a week! so hold on, my friend, and we'll try and find more Vaizard to help you gain control."
Fortunately, they had arrived in Japan earlier that month, and it would not be long before the Vaizard found them.
The New Family[/u]
Uryuujin and Meian were hiding out in a small village near Kyoto on that fatefull day. It was just after the beginning of World War II, and Russia had just split Poland down the middle with Germany.
"Why are the living always trying to kill each other!?" Meian asked, nearly shouting as he recieved the news. "It's not like they can't die on their own, nooo. They decided to fight each other in the last one, and nearly killed everyone, and are going at it again!"
"I think that this is a good thing" Uryuujin replied, then began to explain at Meian's angry stare. "Think about it, without these wars, the Earth would overpopulate, and people would die in more gruesome ways" (He would later learn about Death Camps, and though he definately didn't condone the actions- he was actually helping free the Jews at some places late in the war- He at least thought that we had gotten a very large dosage of Evil, letting the balance swing to Good for a while) "Like plague and starvation. Its aaall checks and balances."
Meian opened his mouth to reply, but shut it again as a slightly paniced look crossed Uryuujin's face. "What is it?" the puzzled ally asked.
"I sense another" was all the Exiled shinigami's friend had to say. They both knew now what was approaching them.
A Vaizard.
They both sprang out of their Gigai, and drew their Zanpakuto. They were prepared for anything to walk through that doorway. Well, anything but the little boy that strolled in looking the picture of Innocence, with a young woman who could be his older sister.
"Greetings to you, brother" the little boy said. "I am Sendatsu, and this is Shiori. We're here to guide you, fellow Vizard." The boy grinned, revealing shining white teeth. Shiori stood off to the side, asessing the two exiled friends. Then, without a word, she turned around and left.
"Are you coming, Uryuujin? We could help you y'know. Your friend has to stay here though. Well, he doesn't have to stay here, he just can't come with us." The boy said happily, and followed Shiori out of the warehouse, expecting the former 11th Vice-Captain to follow shortly.
"Well, you had better get going" Meian told him, throwing Uryuujin the sack that carried his few meager possessions. The two exchanged a look. "Don't worry, I'll be here every....10 years from now. I'll see you later."
Uryuujin nodded to his traveling companion and good friend of untold centuries, and left along with his new family members.

The events that occurred after that day were quite repetitive. The others found it interesting that his Hollow form had been a Dragon-like version of himself, still capable of strategy and guile, if only rudimentary. He completed his Hollow mastery after forty-eight minutes and 12.081 seconds, an average-ish time, by the standards of the Masked Syndicate, the family to which he now belonged.
Uryuujin also learned how to control Tyr better. However, this newfound dominance was hardly rock-solid. Uryuujin was surprised to find that to find that his Inner Hollow's personality was remarkably similar to his own, but with a few differences (see Hollow Personality). They might have become fast friends, if the bitterness Uryuujin felt at Tyr's actions and Tyr's own ambitions to destroy Uryuujin's mind, at least for the most part, hadn't made such an arrangement improbable.
However, he was able to have enough control to be allowed to leave, and re-find his traveling companion, who he had sorely missed.
The Disaster[/u]
"Should be today, I believe," Uryuujin told himself, as he walked to the Warehouse where they had agreed to meet exactly twenty years ago. Only a moment to the ancient Shinigami, but much had happened in that relatively short amount of time. His life had gone to a much better state as soon as he gained control.
As he walked into the room where he had last seen his old friend, he sat on a sack of some object, his Gigai seeming strangling to him for some unknown reason, so he left it on the pile, striding back and forth in Shinigami form.
Soon, he sensed the presence of a Shinigami's reiatsu pattern. However, it was not Meian's.
Uryuujin unsheathed his Zanpakuto, and started to call for his Shikai, until he realized that he recognized the reiatsu. It took him a minute to put a name to it, but as the newcomer walked into the warehouse, he knew the name of the acquaintance of old.

Activation Phrase:Hikimodosu Kinkou, Muteikei Tenbin
Appearance:When the activation phrase is uttered, the sealed Zanpakuto disappears, and an indigo Orb, with Black lightning strikes through it appears, hovering in front of Uryuujin slightly below shoulder level. When he sticks his arm inside of this orb, he pulls out a katana, of the same coloration as the orb appears, and the orb appears to be pulled into itself from the opposite side.
Abilities:Muteikei Ryuujin has
Its ability is to copy any zanpakuto that Uryuujin knows and says aloud and combine it with one other blade. He must know the name of the zanpakuto, and must say it aloud like so. He must also know the abilities of the zanpakuto.

he may use certain bankai with this ability, but it is severely weakened. (npc bankai)

Activation Phrase:Conform, Muteikei Ryuujin Koutetsu
Appearance:
What happens is, he sheathes Muteikei Ryuujin, and pulls it out as a tanto, says the activation phrase, and plunges it into his throat. Then there is a blinding white light, then everything goes dark, and when the dust settles, Uryuujin is wearing Dragon armor. The armor is modeled after the traditional Western dragon, with claws and wings. The armor itself has scales, like a dragon, which are alternating black and white. It moves as he does, so is pretty much a "mech", if you will.
Abilities:Bankai has one ability and two fatal flaws.
The ability is that the entire armor can "conform" to any Zanpakuto, shikai or bankai, that Uryuujin knows the name of, without an audible command. He can combine any three zanpakuto, such as Tensa Zangetsu, Senbonzakura Kageyoshi, and Ryuujin jaka (yamma-ji's)
The first flaw is that Uryuujin can only maintain the conformity for 15 min.(5 posts), then it takes 21 min.(7 posts) to recharge on spirit particles.
The Second is that the Bankai is a severe health risk, seeing as it feeds on his life force as well as spirit particles. Thus, he rarely ever uses Bankai.
NameThe hollow called itself Tyr once, and thus the name stuck in Uryuujin's head.

Uryuujin's father had been killed, by his brother Kain, by accident, when a stray arrow missed its target and plunged into the man's heart. Uryuujin became depressed and nearly beat his uncle to death. Hours later, he sat crying over his father's death, but stopped as he saw his father outside the village, still during the later hours of sunlight.
Excited, he ran toward the man, until he noticed that a strange sort of gray rope was hanging from his chest. As soon as he came into his father's eyesight, the thing became alive, and ate itself up to his chest, and then he screamed. A bloodcurdling scream that rent the air around him, though it appeared as though none but he could hear it. Then, his father disappeared, leaving Uryuujin frightened and even more depressed than before. As he turned, Tensaiji ran up, saying "Did you hear that yell!? Please tell me you did!"
Later that night, he went outside, suffering insomnia thanks to the strange apparition, and saw a large being outside the village again. Thinking it might be the man who raised him, he ran toward it, and stopped a few hundred yards away. For the creature before him did not appear to be his father.
It was larger, and very man-like in appearance, save that his hands were large spheres with what appeared to be arrow-like quills sticking out of them. The head was a large white mask, with a strange letter embedded in the forehead. He had barely any time to cry out before one of these quills found him, killing him where he stood. Weirdly enough, as he left his body, he looked down at his new spiritual form, and found the quill being absorbed into his body in the same place as the Hollow's hole. Then, everything went dark.
Death:
Uryuujin woke up to a crowd staring at him as he lay in the dirt. He did not recognize them or the area they were at, so was a bit confused. Then he remembered seeing his dead father, and the strange creature as well. He looked down, panicking, and noticed a few things.
First, he wasn't wearing anything from the waist up, which was strange since he remembered wearing his favorite shirt that day. Second, that he had physically changed. He was darker than he remembered being, darker than any of his fair-skinned family. As well, it seemed that he had grown much stronger and larger while he slept. His shoulders were more broad, and his arms thicker, to match his legs. There was no fat at all left that he could see.
Then he saw where the Spine had struck him. It was a strange marking, a symbol of some sort. It was a perfect circle, separated into two parts by a wavy line, with one side black and the other white. As well, on the Black side, where it bulged the most was a White circle, while the opposite thing happened on the other. He later learned the meaning of this symbol: Yin and Yang.
He then stood up quickly, startling the group around him. He noticed a strange wooden object. it was cylindrical, bulging in the center and tapering off toward the flat ends. There were two black rings, near the top and bottom. He later learned about Barrels, but for now only knew it had water in it. Running over to the barrel- and noticing how much faster he was- he looked down at the reflection, that was his, yet not.
His hair had darkened into an even deeper black than its original color, while on the ends about a half inch was white. It had also lengthened to end about halfway down his neck in the back, to the bottom of his ears on the side, and past his brow in the front. His face had become more angular than before, stripped of all remaining fat. This revealed a strong Jawline, and pronounced cheek-bones, as if he had been going without food. His Eyes were now different colors and very disturbing colors at that. His right eye had whites still, which darkened to deep blue, fading back to a white pupil. The other was much more frightening... The White had become black, which faded to a Maroon iris that burned with an inner fire, as if Hell itself were contained inside, which then darkened back to a black pupil. His eyebrows had changed as well, being the same black as his hair, and outlined with white. Luckily, these changed did nothing to inhibit his eyesight.
Actually, he seemed okay, better than okay. Uryuujin felt better than he ever had in life! He could see and hear much better than he could before. He could taste the wind to see what smells were nearby, as if he were a snake. He could feel small changes in the wind, but knew that should a time come where he was in pain, he could cast it aside. However, though physically alright, he was not doing too well emotionally. Uryuujin was shocked and confused. Where was he? What happened to his village? What had happened to him?
Dazed and confused, he left the clean and warm village he found himself in, unknowingly headed for the Zaraki district of Soul Society.

For a a few centuries, Uryuujin wandered Soul Society, killing those who tried to kill him, still dazed about his presence in this strange place. As he did, however, pieces began falling into place. He became extremely fast and strong, and resilient to pain and injury. Soon, there were many who feared him, but he was very...just. He began learning about his place, and also started making connections that he wouldn't have otherwise. He read books that finally pointed him to the thesis he lives by:
a) There is a balance between good and evil in every part of existence.
b) This balance is essential for the survival of all things.
c) Those who try and turn the cosmic balance either one way or another are the true bringers of evil.
Thus, he decided to try and uphold this balance, fighting thugs who would harm innocents, but also allowing fighting amongst everyone, knowing that it was a natural part of existence. At points , he would be surrounded by too many for him to handle. When this happened, he would black out, only to find out that all enemies had been ripped to shreds. Feeling strangely rejuvinated, he would assume that there was something helping him out.
One day, while trying to stop a group of rabble-rousers from attacking a carriage, he met Meian Murad I.
Murad I was a Shinigami, a very influential man behind the scenes, and a very powerful Shinigami in his own right. He noticed that Uryuujin had a strong Reiatsu, and offered him a chance to go to the Shinigami Academy. This, Uryuujin gladly agreed to.
Academy:
At the beginning of his Academy career, Uryuujin was very alone. Not only was his frightening appearance a factor in keeping him ostrasized, the rumors of his killings also made him feared by his peers. The worst part was that some of the worse ones were true. Though he excelled at Fighting classes enough to train against final year students in his first year, his Kido took a hit due to his slightly more pessimistic attitude.
Then, Meian walked into his life.
Meian was the son of the Shinigami who influenced Uryuujin's future, but Meian himself would influence it beyond compare. He was the first to reach out to Uryuujin, and eventually others followed his lead, including the future Jerimiah Seikigan, captain of squad 8. He began liking his position in life once more, and thus those subjects he was failing got better and better, until he was 8th in his class for all but Fighting. It was not long until his Zanpakuto showed itself to him. The Academy was Uryuujin's second favorite time period in his life, tailing closely to the next.
The Gotei 13:
Uryuujin was quite powerful after graduating along with Meian. Thus, it was nearly instantaneous that he was granted 6th seat in Squad 11. Not to be outdone, his comrade became the 3rd seat in Squad 4. They both fit in easily to their new roles, even rising through the ranks. Uryuujin's abilities had been underestimated, and before long he became the Vice-Captain for squad 11, though all knew it was just a matter of time before he became Captain. He was more powerful than the current, but decided to say at Vice-Captain, due to the higher amount of flexibility it gave him.
There was only one problem with this arrangement. Since his Zanpakuto was one that copied others, it would not have been accepted among the 11th squad. They would have considered him too weak to use his own power, instead relying on the power of others. It was to prevent this that he discovered that, when he dragged the tip of his blade along the ground, defiling it, his Zanpakuto would become irritated to not go to it's regular Shikai, as he asked. Insted, it would become a black Spatha-style bastard sword with a large cross guard, Black with white orbs on the side points. This new blade had no special abilities. However, it looked battle-worthy enough to be accepted by his peers. Overall, this lack of power helped him, making it a bit more challenging to use in battle.
Meian stayed at Vice-Captain as well, and the two stayed thick as theives. They were inseperable outside of their duties. As well, Meian had introduced Uryuujin to all new kinds of people, and made many good friends. Life was good for the Shinigami.
But it was not to last.
The Accident:
That day had started as usual, Uryuujin waking up and working out as he did every day. After a good breakfast, he headed over to the Fighting dojo, where many of his fellow 11 members were already warming up.
"Hey, guys. What d'you think about a group spar? Eight of you against me? I won't use my right hand, promise!" He inquired, switching the Bokken from his right to his left. "Sound fun? Lets make it 10 though." The ten best fighters under him in rank got ready to fight. Two others were in the back making bets.
Uryuujin grinned evilly, and got into a fighting stance. "I'm ready when you fellas are....."

Walking out of the dojo, Uryuujin almost felt sorry for the opponents. They would be extremely sore all day as they went about their duties. Especially the guy he'd kicked into a table on the far side of the building. I wonder if Kurei will heal that broken arm before next Thursday? He thought to himself.
Going up to where the Captain resided, he had a brief meeting with him, and left.
The rest of the day began passing uneventfully. The squad was abuzz about a child prodigy that had conned one of their members out of their position. The Captain thought she was amusing, but Uryuujin hadn't met her yet, so he wouldn't be able to take sides.
He went on his rounds, making sure that all was well in Seireite. Then he made his way to the Assignment board, and found himself on Rukongai rounds as well that day, partnered with a Shinigami from another division. Damn, a weakling getting- he began to curse inwardly, when he noticed the Partner's name. Meian, Vice-Captain Squad 4. Much better.

Meian and Uryuujin were two-thirds of the way through their rounds when they were ambushed by a group of malcontents. Usually, this wouldn't be too much of a problem, however, they had started by incapactitating Meian. Fury rose quickly in Uryuujin, and his world became tinted in red.
The part of his chest that held Yin and Yang turned, and showed the symbol reversed. As it finally 'clicked' into place, white stuff began accumulating around the left side of his head. Soon, his head was encased in the top of a Dragon's Skull...well, thats what it looked like. Its scales were alternately black and white, and spines went down his back, right above his spine. The horns that proturded behind his head were black. His Eyes, however, had 'switched' colors, his right eye lookin like his left and Vice Versa.
He was watched from his eyes as his body began to act of it's own accord. He heard a new being speaking with his voice. "Greetings, weakling fools! Are you prepared to die this day?!? AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAA!!!!!!!" It laughed, and dragged the point of his Zanpakuto on the ground. "Wareru, Kurokongouseki! (Cleave, Black Diamond!)". At this, his Half-Zanpakuto materialized, called Kuroigen for short. It laughed insanely, and launched itself at the enemies, Kuro-Kon raised in deadly preparation.
It began cutting through the opponents as quickly as diamond through paper.
Soon, it had completely destroyed the group, and moved towards the nearest settled part of Rukongai. NO!! Uryuujin yelled inwardly, as he listened to the thoughts of the other occupant that he was finally able to hear.
Oh! You can hear me now, eh? That makes this aaaaall the better. Watch, as Tyr the Invincible destroys these lives....yours AND their's! Ahahahahahahaa!! It mocked, and began running.
Before he could get to the Village however, Uryuujin's arm flew up and grabbed the left edge of the Mask's jaw, and began pulling. He could feel the being in him struggle against his will, but to no avail.
The jaw of the mask broke off, and crumbled to dust in his hand, as did the rest of his new attributes, revealing Uryuujin's usual self once more. However, this marked the ending of all that Uryuujin had loved in this new life he had built.
The Fall[/u]
The 42 had sentenced him to Death.
There was no reason why they shouldn't, seeing as he was a creature beyond any control. An unholy union between Hollow and Shinigami. A Vizard. And the Vaizard were not smiled upon in Soul Society. The news spread quickl;y, and Uryuujin, previously respected and feared in a good way, became a Villan, an Abomination. He was reviled and feared by those who had laughed alongside him not Three days ago.
Only one still accepted him: Meian.
Late at night, the day after the Trial had found him to be condemned, Meian broke into the Prison and freed him from all of his Bindings. Afterwards, the Two somehow managed to escape to the World of the living. They knew that they would both be outcasts, with no ties to anyone. Finding someone who would sell them Gigai, they assiumilated into society, as wanderers in 19th Century America, dissapearing altogether.

Approximately 83 years later, at the end of the First World War, Uryuujin had another attack from his Inner Hollow, Tyr. This time he killed 16 innocent people, one a small boy who had seen him.
"I cannot handle these attacks anymore, Meian. I refuse to continue this horrible existance while my Balance becomes ultimately evil. I must find help for this!" Uryuujin yelled, exasperated beyond belief. The guilt weighed heavily upon him, and he was close to ending his own life to stop it.
"And I will help you find it." Meian told his friend. "And it's not as bad as you think. These episodes are becoming less frequent. This was only the Second one this year, and its already August! Remember when we first started, these came once a week! so hold on, my friend, and we'll try and find more Vaizard to help you gain control."
Fortunately, they had arrived in Japan earlier that month, and it would not be long before the Vaizard found them.
The New Family[/u]
Uryuujin and Meian were hiding out in a small village near Kyoto on that fatefull day. It was just after the beginning of World War II, and Russia had just split Poland down the middle with Germany.
"Why are the living always trying to kill each other!?" Meian asked, nearly shouting as he recieved the news. "It's not like they can't die on their own, nooo. They decided to fight each other in the last one, and nearly killed everyone, and are going at it again!"
"I think that this is a good thing" Uryuujin replied, then began to explain at Meian's angry stare. "Think about it, without these wars, the Earth would overpopulate, and people would die in more gruesome ways" (He would later learn about Death Camps, and though he definately didn't condone the actions- he was actually helping free the Jews at some places late in the war- He at least thought that we had gotten a very large dosage of Evil, letting the balance swing to Good for a while) "Like plague and starvation. Its aaall checks and balances."
Meian opened his mouth to reply, but shut it again as a slightly paniced look crossed Uryuujin's face. "What is it?" the puzzled ally asked.
"I sense another" was all the Exiled shinigami's friend had to say. They both knew now what was approaching them.
A Vaizard.
They both sprang out of their Gigai, and drew their Zanpakuto. They were prepared for anything to walk through that doorway. Well, anything but the little boy that strolled in looking the picture of Innocence, with a young woman who could be his older sister.
"Greetings to you, brother" the little boy said. "I am Sendatsu, and this is Shiori. We're here to guide you, fellow Vizard." The boy grinned, revealing shining white teeth. Shiori stood off to the side, asessing the two exiled friends. Then, without a word, she turned around and left.
"Are you coming, Uryuujin? We could help you y'know. Your friend has to stay here though. Well, he doesn't have to stay here, he just can't come with us." The boy said happily, and followed Shiori out of the warehouse, expecting the former 11th Vice-Captain to follow shortly.
"Well, you had better get going" Meian told him, throwing Uryuujin the sack that carried his few meager possessions. The two exchanged a look. "Don't worry, I'll be here every....10 years from now. I'll see you later."
Uryuujin nodded to his traveling companion and good friend of untold centuries, and left along with his new family members.

The events that occurred after that day were quite repetitive. The others found it interesting that his Hollow form had been a Dragon-like version of himself, still capable of strategy and guile, if only rudimentary. He completed his Hollow mastery after forty-eight minutes and 12.081 seconds, an average-ish time, by the standards of the Masked Syndicate, the family to which he now belonged.
Uryuujin also learned how to control Tyr better. However, this newfound dominance was hardly rock-solid. Uryuujin was surprised to find that to find that his Inner Hollow's personality was remarkably similar to his own, but with a few differences (see Hollow Personality). They might have become fast friends, if the bitterness Uryuujin felt at Tyr's actions and Tyr's own ambitions to destroy Uryuujin's mind, at least for the most part, hadn't made such an arrangement improbable.
However, he was able to have enough control to be allowed to leave, and re-find his traveling companion, who he had sorely missed.
The Disaster[/u]
"Should be today, I believe," Uryuujin told himself, as he walked to the Warehouse where they had agreed to meet exactly twenty years ago. Only a moment to the ancient Shinigami, but much had happened in that relatively short amount of time. His life had gone to a much better state as soon as he gained control.
As he walked into the room where he had last seen his old friend, he sat on a sack of some object, his Gigai seeming strangling to him for some unknown reason, so he left it on the pile, striding back and forth in Shinigami form.
Soon, he sensed the presence of a Shinigami's reiatsu pattern. However, it was not Meian's.
Uryuujin unsheathed his Zanpakuto, and started to call for his Shikai, until he realized that he recognized the reiatsu. It took him a minute to put a name to it, but as the newcomer walked into the warehouse, he knew the name of the acquaintance of old.

Appearance:When the activation phrase is uttered, the sealed Zanpakuto disappears, and an indigo Orb, with Black lightning strikes through it appears, hovering in front of Uryuujin slightly below shoulder level. When he sticks his arm inside of this orb, he pulls out a katana, of the same coloration as the orb appears, and the orb appears to be pulled into itself from the opposite side.
Abilities:Muteikei Ryuujin has
Its ability is to copy any zanpakuto that Uryuujin knows and says aloud and combine it with one other blade. He must know the name of the zanpakuto, and must say it aloud like so. He must also know the abilities of the zanpakuto.

Bankai
Activation Phrase:Conform, Muteikei Ryuujin Koutetsu
Appearance:
What happens is, he sheathes Muteikei Ryuujin, and pulls it out as a tanto, says the activation phrase, and plunges it into his throat. Then there is a blinding white light, then everything goes dark, and when the dust settles, Uryuujin is wearing Dragon armor. The armor is modeled after the traditional Western dragon, with claws and wings. The armor itself has scales, like a dragon, which are alternating black and white. It moves as he does, so is pretty much a "mech", if you will.
Abilities:Bankai has one ability and two fatal flaws.
The ability is that the entire armor can "conform" to any Zanpakuto, shikai or bankai, that Uryuujin knows the name of, without an audible command. He can combine any three zanpakuto, such as Tensa Zangetsu, Senbonzakura Kageyoshi, and Ryuujin jaka (yamma-ji's)
The first flaw is that Uryuujin can only maintain the conformity for 15 min.(5 posts), then it takes 21 min.(7 posts) to recharge on spirit particles.
The Second is that the Bankai is a severe health risk, seeing as it feeds on his life force as well as spirit particles. Thus, he rarely ever uses Bankai.
Inner Hollow
NameThe hollow called itself Tyr once, and thus the name stuck in Uryuujin's head.
