Physical Description:
Kuro is what many would consider an attractive young man. With slightly longer than average black hair and differentiating eyes, one red one black with both containing white speckles. With a softer face and a brilliant smile, he is a Ladies man, at least in appearance. However, his one little 'flaw' in his appearance is this symbol, which is on his forehead, Chest, Back, and palms (the white is really black and the black is his skin)[see pic 2]
Kuro is slim, but not thin, like a starved individual. Instead of just skin and bone, he carries a lot of wiry muscle that allows him to move fast, and excellent balance that keeps him on his feet. His hands are quite large, which is a blessing for a Pianist like himself, and to play his favorite pieces, he needs them.
Not too tall, but not too short as well at 5'11", he doesn't tower over people, but neither does he look up to them, preferring to instead look them directly in the eyes. Kuro's shoulders are not extremely wide, but they are solid, and he can take a few loads on his back without a sweat. This upper body is supported by slim yet powerful legs, which easily propell the young man quickly and smoothly. With, besides the Marks, smooth but not baby-soft, only slightly tanned skin, he is a very aesthetically pleasing man.
He likes to wear Black clothing, usually nice Button-up black long-sleeved shirts with another nice shirt underneath, like the picture above. However, this doesn't mean that this is all he wears. He will stray from this look every so often, especially in the summer. When he does, it is still usually dark shirts, but he sometimes feels a bit more.....bright, than usual, and it shows in his clothing. (He used to be forced to wear bright clothing more often by Jeanne, but that is a different story....) As well, he carries around a pocketwatch in plain view, and never lets it out of his sight. Personality
Kuro is not the conventional sort of guy. Instead of being serious or commanding , he is a bit of a clown. Whenever he speaks to people, he treats everyone like a close friend, and tries to make everyone laugh as much as possible. He loves to joke around.
However, he does have a bit of an Explosive personality at points. If he gets too angry, he'll subconciencely use a level 1 or 2 explosion in frustration on an inanimate object. However, he never gets this way around Jeanne.
In battle, he tends to be a humorous guy once more, laughing a bit while defeating his foes. Only when confronting a very powerful enemy will he become a serious and frightening being.
History:
Kuro was born approximately 25 years ago to two parents who were not really as they seemed. One was a Vaizard turned human by a Gigai developed by none other than Ribotsu Kenjicho (see bleachedsouls.proboards92.com/index.c.cgi?action=display&board=npcarea&thread=1202265087&page=1) and a human woman named Reinou Rougehan, a powerful human, one of the more powerful ones, who died in childbirth. His own. Not long after that his Father was killed by the an Arrancar with bloodstained teeth and claws. Thus he grew up not having his real parents, instead being raised by the other powerful members of the Brotherhood. Their tutalage went on for a long time, until when a few weeks after turning 6 he was put into an orphanage, to be around regular human children. For, up to that point, the only thing special about him were the markings on his body, his power being non-existent. This caused the estrangement of a great many people in the Brotherhood, who believed that Kuro should stay in the Brotherhood so that they could develop his abilities. However, had those people gotten their way, Kuro would probably never have gotten his power.
Walking around outside one night when he was ten, he was assaulted by hollows, who thought him easy prey. Kuro bolted, having the base ability to see them. It was the only thing besides his Marks that was special about him, at that point. He ran, as stated before, trying to escape, but got cornered by the creatures in a Forest nearby. Just as he was about to be Consumed by the creatures, he was rescued by a man with clawed gauntlets and a small dragon. Kuro, who was fascinated with dragons at the time, and still is, was astounded. One the hollows had been eradicated, the man revealed himself to be a Bount named Banjin Kyuuketsuki. The man talked with him for a while and brought him home, then dissapeared into the night. It was right after the man's appearance that Kuro's power awakened fully, all at once, and Kuro manifested his first two-hundred thousand Reiganzai, one of which he still has. For a few years, he went to the Brotherhood who was surprised at his natural genius and spiritual prowess, and Kuro was finally happy, and wished to thank his savior, which he still does. Then, on Kuro's 17th birthday, he met Jeanne.
Jeanne was an American who had come to Japan thanks to her own spiritual abilities, though they were not very powerful. Kuro fell for her instantly. For a time, they were never far apart, or for very long. One night, Jeanne and Kuro were sitting outside, looking up at the stars. His voice shaking, the first time in 14 years his voice had ever trembled, and the second where he thought badly of himself, he confessed his feelings of love. ?For that is what it had become, and to his surprise, she was not surprised. What was more, she whispered into his ear, "Well It's about time......."
After that, everything went well until about 5 years later.....Jeanne went missing. It was the day after he had planned on finally Proposing to her, but her house had been strangely empty.....
It has been three years and Kuro still has not given up hope of finding her. Close by he always keeps her last gift to him, a Golden Pocket-watch. Inside there is a small picture of them together, and his first Reiganzai as well. He never lets it out of his sight.
More recently, he has gone on a Sabbatical of sorts, to look for himself and for Banjin, and as well as them, for Jeanne, though he doesn't tell this to anyone, even himself.

Kuro hates when people mix up the Wyvern and the Dragon. He will go postal if you call a Wyvern a Dragon. His powers are kept secret from as many of the Brotherhood as possible, at Kuro's own request. As well, he is also a slight Kleptomaniac. He can carry at a maximum of 2 million Reiganzai at once without having his pockets bulge, which will never happen. He likes to look cool.

Before transformation: Kuro has the abitity to store his reiatsu or a willing allies in small capsules called Reiganzai. Reiganzai are about the size of a large head of a pin, and are shaped like pills. He can create these pills 10 at a time, however he has to wait half an hour to be able to make them again. These can be used by others to boost their own power by eating them. He or the other person can recover their lost reiatsu over time, depending on how much reiatsu is stored at a time. These capsules can only contain a certain amount of reiatsu, thus the power increase is measured in how many capsules it takes to contain the power. It's also how he measures enemy reiatsu. The numbers are in the thousands. It takes about a month to create one million Reiganzai, so he has a stockpile of them in a small room underneath the Headquarters, though he only carries about 250,000 on him at a time. When they are synthesized, they appear in the air in front of him and fall to the ground, or usually into some kind of container placed there for them.
Post-transformation: After transforming, Kuro has one new strength. Using his reiatsu and his Reiganzai, he can create explosions. He does not need Reiganzai, but they are helpful in a battle. If he rund out, he can use his regular reiatsu, though this doesn't last very long. These vary on a scale of one to 10, ten being the highest and able to flatten a 150 yard radius, and one being the same as a firecracker. He can place the center of the blast anywhere in direct sight, but only on an inanimate object or the ground. One on the scale takes one capsule, while a Ten takes 2,500,000 Reiganzai. He can carry at most one million of them on his person without it hindering him, seeing as they weigh only slightly heavier than air.

Unfortunately, if using the Reiastu of others captured into reiganzai, he can be damaged by his own explosion, leading him to keep his Reiatsu Reiganzai apart from those of others.

"I'll see you guys later!" he yelled back to his friends, then turned around and began walking home. maybe, he thought to himself, if i don't leave before the sun dawns on the morrow. Man, i 'ate this type of lifestyle.
Walking down the street, thinking about tomorrow, he almost didn't catch the reiatsu of the Hollows. "Great", he said aloud "now i am obligated to get rid of these foul creatures." He pulled the lock from his neck and chanted. "Zeige Dich, Kyoumen Tsukurite!".
The insignia on the lock glowed with an inner light, then expanded beyond it's borders. Or is it me that shrinks, and the seal remains the same size? he wondered to himself. Damn! I must stop thinking that, it's Kyoumen's favorite jest. If i give in, it will only encourage him
"what happens now?" Kyuuketsuki asked telepathically. "well, there are quite a few high-quality hollows. i think we'll scout out the situation first he returned in the same manner. "shall we go?" Kyuuketsuki asked aloud. Kyoumen nodded his assent. "excellent!" he exclaimed. "Kyoumen, Kyoumen Tsukuru!" he said, and pointed at the ground in front of him.
Kyoumen's eyes flashed, the the ground at Kyuuketsuki's feet turned into a mirror. "right, lets go!" he said, and stepped foreword to fall right into the mirror.
As soon as Kyuuketsuki fell through the mirror, he had the interesting sensation of falling up, the landed on his feet right next to the Mirror. Looking around, he marveled at where he was. The Mirror-Realm was extraordinary in the fact that it looked almost exactly the same as the "real world". there were only two differences, the first being that beings like people and animals and even hollows did not appear in this world. the second was that the entire plane was.....shiny. every surface was reflective, but not exactly mirror-like. it was more that everything had a polished silvery quality to it. This ethereal place always get to me, man he thought to himself. "yeah, its reeeeeal shiny, dude" Kyoumen laughed to Kyuuketsuki. "Silence, you overgrown gecko" Kyuuketsuki snapped telepathically, pulling out his clawed gauntlets and putting them on. "oh, oh! that hurts me, on the inside. i think I'm gonna cry!" Mocked the dragon-like creature perched on Kyuuketsuki's shoulder, tail curled around his arm. "Fine, you go ahead and mock me. i don't care, I'm still in command so there." Kyuuketsuki retorted lamely. He began running to the area where he felt the hollow's reiatsu.
"you really need to work on your comebacks, my friend" remarked his familiar-type Doll. "the times, they are a'changin', and you need to conform to them, or you'll stick out too much. remember that fiasco back about, oh 658 years ago?" Kyuuketsuki groaned aloud. "that thing. i believe we had an accord not to talk 'bout that ever again! I'm telling you, that 'vampire hunter' dude had the ability to sense reiatsu. there's no other explanation!"
"yeah, yeah. whatever helps you sleep at night, man" laughed Kyoumen silently. "aint that quaint, though? the only time you try a true living soul, a vampire hunter just waltzes right up to you! "
Kyuuketsuki chuckled. "that is kinda funny"
Laughing, the duo arrived at the area where, in the World of the Living, the reiatsu from the hollows originated. Looking through one of the many leaves in the area he had equipped for such a purpose, the smile abruptly died. "Kyoumen, get ready. now."
The five hollows were attacking a small Human boy, no older than 10, who lived in the area. Kyuuketsuki had seen him numerous times playing with other children in the neighborhood and could easily sense the reiatsu within him. Thats probably why the hollows were targeting him.
"Kyoumen, Kyoumen Tsukuru!" he shouted telepathically, and jumped through the portal that appeared spontaneously nearby.
Passing through the portal right behind the hollows, yelling to catch their attention, he clawed at the closest hollow and dissapeared through another mirror he made.
The hollows stood, trying to anticipate his next move, when the ground beneath them became as a mirror, and the boy they had chased after fell through. Now at this, the hollows became very upset and started clawing at the ground themselves, until one of their number fell through themselves.
In the Mirror-realm, Kyuuketsuki had hidden the boy in a safe area, then prepared to take each hollow on, two at a time. Using the mirrors, he went through a portal to the living world and attacked a hollow, then he would retreat and attack the hollow in the Mirror-realm. Clawing through the hollow's mask in the Mirror-Realm, he allowed another to enter, to their death. The attack was pretty rutine, and ended quickly. Kyuuketsuki then regarded the boy.
This child was unremarkable, save for his strange spiritual pressure, his mismatched eyes, and that strange symbol on his forehead and hands. I shouldn't judge Kyuuketsuki thought to himself.
"what's your name, kid?" he asked politely, though he had already overheard the boy's name in town. "my name is Meian Kuromaru" the boy introduced formally, "but people call me Kuro"
"Well, Kuro. You know what those things that attacked you were?" Kyuuketsuki asked. Kuro nodded. Kyuuketsuki wasn't very surprised, his parents probably had explained to him what they were, because there was no way a child with so much spiritual pressure was born from people with none. Kyuuketsuki replied "well, seeing as it is late, do you want me to escort you back home?" Again, the young boy nodded. "excellent, lets go then! by the way, my name is Banjin Kyuuketsuki, but people call me Kyuuketsuki"
"is it alright if i call you Banjin" Kuro asked shyly.
"of course, call me whatever you like......"

The five hollows were attacking a small Human boy, no older than 10, who lived in the area. Kyuuketsuki had seen him numerous times playing with other children in the neighborhood and could easily sense the reiatsu within him. Thats probably why the hollows were targeting him.
"Kyoumen, Kyoumen Tsukuru!" he shouted telepathically, and jumped through the portal that appeared spontaneously nearby.
Passing through the portal right behind the hollows, yelling to catch their attention, he clawed at the closest hollow and dissapeared through another mirror he made.
The hollows stood, trying to anticipate his next move, when the ground beneath them became as a mirror, and the boy they had chased after fell through. Now at this, the hollows became very upset and started clawing at the ground themselves, until one of their number fell through themselves.
In the Mirror-realm, Kyuuketsuki had hidden the boy in a safe area, then prepared to take each hollow on, two at a time. Using the mirrors, he went through a portal to the living world and attacked a hollow, then he would retreat and attack the hollow in the Mirror-realm. Clawing through the hollow's mask in the Mirror-Realm, he allowed another to enter, to their death. The attack was pretty rutine, and ended quickly. Kyuuketsuki then regarded the boy.
This child was unremarkable, save for his strange spiritual pressure, his mismatched eyes, and that strange symbol on his forehead and hands. I shouldn't judge Kyuuketsuki thought to himself.
"what's your name, kid?" he asked politely, though he had already overheard the boy's name in town. "my name is Meian Kuromaru" the boy introduced formally, "but people call me Kuro"
"Well, Kuro. You know what those things that attacked you were?" Kyuuketsuki asked. Kuro nodded. Kyuuketsuki wasn't very surprised, his parents probably had explained to him what they were, because there was no way a child with so much spiritual pressure was born from people with none. Kyuuketsuki replied "well, seeing as it is late, do you want me to escort you back home?" Again, the young boy nodded. "excellent, lets go then! by the way, my name is Banjin Kyuuketsuki, but people call me Kyuuketsuki"
"is it alright if i call you Banjin" Kuro asked shyly.
"of course, call me whatever you like......"

Kyuuketsuki left the next morning, and never again would he see most of them
