Human - The New World Order
Name:
Tarian Octavian and Chrysaor Septimus(Chris for short) Gaius
Gender: Both are male

Physical Description:
Both brothers wear identical outfits. Very form fitting, these suits are like a second skin to the two, mostly black, with some gold trim. Their Sigil appears on both sides of their collars in gold. As well, they wear black shoes with a maroon version of their Sigils on the top, facing outward.
Chris:
Chris, though he doesn't look it, is the Larger of the two brothers, at 5'11". He has a very lean frame, but packed onto those thin bones is a large quantity of wiry muscle. He has brwon, eye-length hair, which is kept messy all the time. His hands aren't calloused or hard despite all of the damage they take all the time. He has one of those faces that can portray complete innocence at the drop of a hat, because that is how Chris is. However, his more rounded and softer appearance can turn to hard determination at the same rate, much to people's suprise. His mouth is very thin, under an equally thin nose, but is very prone to smiling. His skin is not tan, but not pale either, more cream than anything. However, his Eyes are quite different.
His left eye is a light Amethyst color, nearly a pink color, which usually betrays his usually carefree nature. Sparkling in even the dimmest light, people often remark on the beauty of this eye in the same breath as their awe and wonder of it's companion.
His right eye is a darker reddish version of his left, but with major differences. For example, his iris is much more dulled on this side of his head. As well, he does not possess a pupil in the same sense that we do. Instead of a clear black circle in the center of his eye, a fuzzy black dot the same size as his other pupil hangs over a strange sigil, its red with white webs constantly changing and moving. The shape, almost bird-like, has awed all people he has ever met. He wears a AA battery hooked up to a wire on each end around his neck as a necklace.
Tarian:
Tarian is the shorter of the brothers, but because of his slim build, he appears taller, though he is 5'8". He has a bit less muscle than his brother, but packed in a fashion to make him incredibly fast. As opposed to his twin, his hands are callused and hard, due to the amount of damage they deal every day. However, his fingers are longer and more deft than Chris's, with a spiderlike quality to them. His face is very angular, and can appear hard. It is sallowed, as if he had stayed too long inside. This comes from being in a constantly sickly state, a side affect of his power. His black, near shoulder-length hair is kept straight, but is allowed to lay as it will. His face is more angular, more prone to appearing indifferent to the situation around him, as is the norm. Smiles do not adorn this face often, more likely a smirk of contempt finds its home upon his face. But like his twin, Tarian can easily change into something more...dangerous.
Tarian can become incredibly cruel, and his face shows this. Easily smirking in either a condescending way, or smiling in such an evil way as to appear even snake-like, it is not wise to push Tarian over the edge.
His eyes are just as if not more interesting than his twin's. His left eye is a dark and deep Amethyst, more purple than Chris's. His eyes are cold, his Right being the more captivating of the two. A darker version of his Brother's interesting eye, Tarian has a clear pupil over his darker sigil, signifying his more clear-headedness than his brother. He wears a locket with a picture of their sister Nunnally inside.
Personality:
The brothers are not as similar as twins can be. However, they are usually agreeing with each other on most issues they happen to have.
Chris:
Chris is very carefree and happy usually. Very prone to making new friends, he became very popular with everyone he has met, for the most part. He is very caring and loves to hear people sing and talk and laugh. He is more into sports and other such activities, wanting always to go and do something. He is very loyal and honest, incapable of thinking badly of friends. He also has a very Brotherly-love type of protectiveness and help when it comes to his brother. He tends to put up with any sort of angry snippets that get tossed his way by the brother, understanding that Tarian suffers, but not why he suffers.
However, there is a side of Chris that comes out whenever he catches sight of a Shinigami.
When this occurs, Chris becomes hard and angry, barely keeping his rage under check, when he tries. He becomes irrational and unhearing, focusing only on the pain that they have caused him. He will never forgive or forget what they did to Nunnally.
In battle, unless against a Shinigami, he is very protective and giddy, treating the battle like a large game. He feels like some sort of Goalie whenever he fights, always dodging in front of his brother.

Tarian is a genius. With an IQ of 187, to think otherwise would be quite foolish. Due to this, he has developed a Superiority complex as far as his power and intelligence is concerned. He doesn't have a concept of loyalty, but will always keep a promise or repay a debt. He is also condescending, extremely resentful regarding his lack of physical strength and often relies on his twin brother for support. This generates feelings of resentment and jealousy more than feelings of affection and gratitude. However, that bond of Brotherhood still exists between the two. He is very cynical, and is not very prone to happy thoughts or friendships.There are the few exceptions to this rule, as will be adressed in the History section.
When he meets someone treated poorly because of an uncontrollable weakness, he identifies with such people, and is thus quick to help them. As well, there are periods where Tarian is nearly Nestalgic about his childhood, when he could feel something resembling love and comraderie.
When facing a Shinigami, however, a very frightening change comes over this Twin.
His face becomes unforgiving, cold, as marble to the magma that Chris becomes. This cold fury is intimidating, often the only thing keeping Chris in check. Like his brother, what the Shinigami put the Brother's through is unforgivable to him, and refuses to listen to any who consider them anything but despicable enemies. He becomes especially cruel in these instances.
In battle, he wears a snake-like grin, evilly mocking his foes and their stupidity. He tends to think that the battle is a game, like Chris does. However, this game is more of a chess battle, each piece a pawn, to be moved and taken, no matter the cost. Except him and his brother. They are the Allied Kings of this board. They are the least expendable of the pieces. He tends to use his power like his tongue, lashing out from behind his shield. In battle, that shield is Chris.
History:
The brothers were born in Britain 23 years ago to Lord Sextus Gaius and his wife, Lady Calista Calynn Gaius. They were miricle children, not only because Lady Guillory had not been expected to give birth to another child. Chris was born healthy and big, but Tarian was born sickly and smaller. It was expected that he was to die within hours. However, his eyes seemed to burn with a desire to live, to beat Death at it's little game, and he succeeded, living through the sickness, but he was always smaller and weaker than Chris.
The other miricle of these two was the evident Blessings that they had been bestowed with, shown by the symbol of the Bird that had appeared in their eyes. The symbol had appeared on their mother, on her forehead, and their sister, who had been born before them, in the same place. They were raised in a stable home, with no real issues affecting them.
As children, they were taught that it was their duty to defend the Souls that walked this earth from the demonic Hollows that fed on them. And they had allies in their struggle: other gifted humans, Mod-Souls, and Quincy. However, the Shinigami were not seen as friends in their household. When mentioned, their mother would get sad, their sister would get mad, and their father would break anything that he had clenched in his hand. The Boys never thought about the Shingami, because they had no reason to. Neither good nor evil in their eyes, just....there. Besides, the two were more immersed in their little lives.
They stumbled across their powers when they were ten years old. They were playing a game of keep-away with their (by their, I mean Chris') friends at the private school their father funded. They had been throwing, what else, a frizbee, to each other, when the frizbee landed in the road next to the building, which was moderately traveled. Chris, of course, offered to go grab it, and Tarian followed, keeping an eye on his twin.
Chris ran to the small plastic disk, but tripped and fell, skinning his knee. Tairan of course ran out to see if his younger brother was alright. Neither of them saw the truck until it was almost on top of them. The driver had fallen asleep at the wheel.
The poor man never had a chance.
When the truck hit Chris, his ability manifested, the bird in his eye burning with a red light. The truck hit him...and bounced off as if it had hit a wall. All force that the Truck had exerted on Chris was turned to heat in his body. But the opposite force completely stopped the semi, smashing the cab.
Meanwhile, Chris began to burn with ungodly heat. Acting out of instinct, he converted the heat into pure electricity, sending it into his brother. Tarian all of a sudden felt his heart stop, and the electricity began causing pain throughout his body, but luckily no damage. Reacting on intstinct, he converted that electricity back into kinetic energy...
Through the hand that touched the truck.
The thousand pound semi was flipped onto its back with the force of the blow. The driver was, of course, killed in the accident. However, the involvement of the Brothers was quickly hushed up, and the family moved from the area, saying that the boys had been scarred by the terror of the accident that nearly killed them.
For the next few years, the Brothers trained, never being any farther than an arm's distance apart, learning how to use this new power against their enemies. Soon, they were fighting alongside adults against Hollows, defeating all that came before them. Their Sister as well accompanied them, with her extraordinary ability.
Nunnally had the ability to use the Hollows against each other. Using a strange sort of feramone, she could convince a Hollow to kill it's comerades, or it to even go to sleep, with varied degrees of success. She could also change the mood in a human being, but not as much. Her only problem was that she had to feed on the emotions of others to survive and stimulate her ability, as well as eat regular food. Thus she created interesting emotions to feed on at home, much to the brother's annoyance.
One fatefull day, in their 19th year, the brothers and Nunnally were on a team of such defenders, when they were attacked by a group of strange hollows. Their masks were broken, revealing their faces. All had glowing red eyes, and were for the most part similar. They had the characteristic of a man-eating cat, lithe and fanged and clawed as they were. They were doing well against these more powerful than usual enemies, until one came that surpassed them.
With bloodstained claws and fangs, and a high-collared black cape, this newest Hollow was like nothing they had ever seen before. More powerful than at all imaginable, this one appeared to be the leader of the group. However, this was not very helpful, as it began killing their comerades with tremendous ease. Then, the figure stiffened in mid-stroke. "What's this, an Empath? Could be useful..." and he found Nunnally, who was vainly trying to convince this Hollow to die. He touched her head, and she fell asleep. "Oh dear, I hope I didn't hit her too hard, she could be useful.."
The Espada (they learned what he was a few years later) then turned to the brothers, smiling, as if he knew who she was to them. Chris of course became extremely angry, and tried to attack the Espada.....but this demonic being was too quick, knocking him into a wall before he could even begin to use his power. Tarian stood in cold fury, glaring daggers at the assualtant. "You will pay if you do not return her now."
The Hollow laughed, "Really now? I'd like to see you try to-" he started, but the velvetly voice stopped as a new hollow, better than the others but still insignificant compared to his master, materialized next to him and whispered something into his ear.
With a sigh, the Espada opened a Garganta behind himself. "It appears that we will have to cut our little fight off for now. Don't worry, your sister will return to you veeeery soon." And with that, the hollows all piled back into Hueco Mundo, leaving the brothers and one other the only survivors out of twenty.

After Nunnally's dissapearance, the Brothers became more estranged with the Shinigami. If they had not shown up less than three minutes later than they did, they might have been able to save their sister. But those damned Shinigami bastards cared nothing for their loss. They only talked about the low enemy body count. Heartless motherf----rs.
They went into training again, Chris focusing on speeding up his power reaction time, and Tarian working on a way to better their fighting style.
It was around this time that they were recruited to the NWO, for their renowned hatred of Shingami and raw power, plus the skill that they possessed in battle, fighting along with each other, communicating on an almost psychic level.

They work like a sword and shield, really:
Chris can take all forms of Energy that he comes into contact with, like heat, kinetic energy, etc... and turn it into electricity, storing it as Heat in his body until it can be used. The weakness in this brother is that he is highly succeptible to Electricity, and if he absorbs too much energy at once and keeps it too long, he will overheat and die. As well, he can only output the energy onto his skin.
Tarian can take Electricity and turn it into any other form of energy, so he's the opposite of Chris. His weaknesses are that he is just as succeptible to energy besides Electricity as any other person, and to use the Electricity, he must have it course through his body. Even though he is immune to being Electrocuted, the charge causes his heart to stop until he releases the power.
Therefore, what they tend to do is stick close to each other, Chris taking all the damage and giving the Energy absorbed to Tarian, who then retaliates against their enemies as fast as possible.
Chris can store any amount of energy, but anything more powerful than a stick of dynamite must be outputed immediately, or he will die. The same with Tarian's output.

They do not have too much armor due to the nature of their abilities. Therefore, they look almost completely normal when wearing their suit. They wear a type of lower body armor, that only covers the sides, that helps them move very quickly. Their feet are not covered either. Chris has a small wire that is tipped with hair from Tarian's head, which is inserted into his back, allowing him to deposit the electricity into the ground harmlessly, in case Tarian is nowhere nearby. As well, Tarian has a one arm cannon that is tuned to use different types of energy that he uses and focus it onto a single point. They also both have a com-link that looks like a skin-toned headset.
Equipment:
Grounding wire: Chris has a small wire that is tipped with hair from Tarian's head, which is inserted into his back, allowing him to deposit the electricity into the ground harmlessly, in case Tarian is nowhere nearby. If it is used too many times (7 times per thread) then it will melt, and it is no longer possible to put the energy into anything but his Brother.
Arm cannon: Tarian has a strange cannon-like object that is used to fucus the energies he uses, such as heat or electricity, better than he could usually. It is on the side of his right arm, ending right before the wrist.
(Due to the little amount of coverage, their Reiatsu does not get covered at all, and only increases their power level to a average 2 human)

"I'll see you guys later!" he yelled back to his friends, then turned around and began walking home. maybe, he thought to himself, if i don't leave before the sun dawns on the morrow. Man, i 'ate this type of lifestyle.
Walking down the street, thinking about tomorrow, he almost didn't catch the reiatsu of the Hollows. "Great", he said aloud "now i am obligated to get rid of these foul creatures." He pulled the lock from his neck and chanted. "Zeige Dich, Kyoumen Tsukurite!".
The insignia on the lock glowed with an inner light, then expanded beyond it's borders. Or is it me that shrinks, and the seal remains the same size? he wondered to himself. Damn! I must stop thinking that, it's Kyoumen's favorite jest. If i give in, it will only encourage him
"what happens now?" Kyuuketsuki asked telepathically. "well, there are quite a few high-quality hollows. i think we'll scout out the situation first he returned in the same manner. "shall we go?" Kyuuketsuki asked aloud. Kyoumen nodded his assent. "excellent!" he exclaimed. "Kyoumen, Kyoumen Tsukuru!" he said, and pointed at the ground in front of him.
Kyoumen's eyes flashed, the the ground at Kyuuketsuki's feet turned into a mirror. "right, lets go!" he said, and stepped foreword to fall right into the mirror.
As soon as Kyuuketsuki fell through the mirror, he had the interesting sensation of falling up, the landed on his feet right next to the Mirror. Looking around, he marveled at where he was. The Mirror-Realm was extraordinary in the fact that it looked almost exactly the same as the "real world". there were only two differences, the first being that beings like people and animals and even hollows did not appear in this world. the second was that the entire plane was.....shiny. every surface was reflective, but not exactly mirror-like. it was more that everything had a polished silvery quality to it. This ethereal place always get to me, man he thought to himself. "yeah, its reeeeeal shiny, dude" Kyoumen laughed to Kyuuketsuki. "Silence, you overgrown gecko" Kyuuketsuki snapped telepathically, pulling out his clawed gauntlets and putting them on. "oh, oh! that hurts me, on the inside. i think I'm gonna cry!" Mocked the dragon-like creature perched on Kyuuketsuki's shoulder, tail curled around his arm. "Fine, you go ahead and mock me. i don't care, I'm still in command so there." Kyuuketsuki retorted lamely. He began running to the area where he felt the hollow's reiatsu.
"you really need to work on your comebacks, my friend" remarked his familiar-type Doll. "the times, they are a'changin', and you need to conform to them, or you'll stick out too much. remember that fiasco back about, oh 658 years ago?" Kyuuketsuki groaned aloud. "that thing. i believe we had an accord not to talk 'bout that ever again! I'm telling you, that 'vampire hunter' dude had the ability to sense reiatsu. there's no other explanation!"
"yeah, yeah. whatever helps you sleep at night, man" laughed Kyoumen silently. "aint that quaint, though? the only time you try a true living soul, a vampire hunter just waltzes right up to you! "
Kyuuketsuki chuckled. "that is kinda funny"
Laughing, the duo arrived at the area where, in the World of the Living, the reiatsu from the hollows originated. Looking through one of the many leaves in the area he had equipped for such a purpose, the smile abruptly died. "Kyoumen, get ready. now."
The five hollows were attacking a small Human boy, no older than 10, who lived in the area. Kyuuketsuki had seen him numerous times playing with other children in the neighborhood and could easily sense the reiatsu within him. Thats probably why the hollows were targeting him.
"Kyoumen, Kyoumen Tsukuru!" he shouted telepathically, and jumped through the portal that appeared spontaneously nearby.
Passing through the portal right behind the hollows, yelling to catch their attention, he clawed at the closest hollow and dissapeared through another mirror he made.
The hollows stood, trying to anticipate his next move, when the ground beneath them became as a mirror, and the boy they had chased after fell through. Now at this, the hollows became very upset and started clawing at the ground themselves, until one of their number fell through themselves.
In the Mirror-realm, Kyuuketsuki had hidden the boy in a safe area, then prepared to take each hollow on, two at a time. Using the mirrors, he went through a portal to the living world and attacked a hollow, then he would retreat and attack the hollow in the Mirror-realm. Clawing through the hollow's mask in the Mirror-Realm, he allowed another to enter, to their death. The attack was pretty rutine, and ended quickly. Kyuuketsuki then regarded the boy.
This child was unremarkable, save for his strange spiritual pressure, his mismatched eyes, and that strange symbol on his forehead and hands. I shouldn't judge Kyuuketsuki thought to himself.
"what's your name, kid?" he asked politely, though he had already overheard the boy's name in town. "my name is Yumiya Kuromaru" the boy introduced formally, "but people call me Kuro"
"Well, Kuro. You know what those things that attacked you were?" Kyuuketsuki asked. Kuro nodded. Kyuuketsuki wasn't very surprised, his parents probably had explained to him what they were, because there was no way a child with so much spiritual pressure was born from people with none. Kyuuketsuki replied "well, seeing as it is late, do you want me to escort you back home?" Again, the young boy nodded. "excellent, lets go then! by the way, my name is Banjin Kyuuketsuki, but people call me Kyuuketsuki"
"is it alright if i call you Banjin" Kuro asked shyly.
"of course, call me whatever you like......"

And they had allies in their struggle: other gifted humans, Mod-Souls, and Quincy. However, the Shinigami were not seen as friends in their household. When mentioned, their mother would get sad, their sister would get mad, and their father would break anything that he had clenched in his hand. The Boys never thought about the Shingami, because they had no reason to. Neither good nor evil in their eyes, just....there. Besides, the two were more immersed in their little lives.
They stumbled across their powers when they were ten years old. They were playing a game of keep-away with their (by their, I mean Chris') friends at the private school their father funded. They had been throwing, what else, a frizbee, to each other, when the frizbee landed in the road next to the building, which was moderately traveled. Chris, of course, offered to go grab it, and Tarian followed, keeping an eye on his twin.
Chris ran to the small plastic disk, but tripped and fell, skinning his knee. Tairan of course ran out to see if his younger brother was alright. Neither of them saw the truck until it was almost on top of them. The driver had fallen asleep at the wheel.
The poor man never had a chance.
When the truck hit Chris, his ability manifested, the bird in his eye burning with a red light. The truck hit him...and bounced off as if it had hit a wall. All force that the Truck had exerted on Chris was turned to heat in his body. But the opposite force completely stopped the semi, smashing the cab.
Meanwhile, Chris began to burn with ungodly heat. Acting out of instinct, he converted the heat into pure electricity, sending it into his brother. Tarian all of a sudden felt his heart stop, and the electricity began causing pain throughout his body, but luckily no damage. Reacting on intstinct, he converted that electricity back into kinetic energy...
Through the hand that touched the truck.
The thousand pound semi was flipped onto its back with the force of the blow. The driver was, of course, killed in the accident. However, the involvement of the Brothers was quickly hushed up, and the family moved from the area, saying that the boys had been scarred by the terror of the accident that nearly killed them.
For the next few years, the Brothers trained, never being any farther than an arm's distance apart, learning how to use this new power against their enemies. Soon, they were fighting alongside adults against Hollows, defeating all that came before them. Their Sister as well accompanied them, with her extraordinary ability.
Nunnally had the ability to use the Hollows against each other. Using a strange sort of feramone, she could convince a Hollow to kill it's comerades, or it to even go to sleep, with varied degrees of success. She could also change the mood in a human being, but not as much. Her only problem was that she had to feed on the emotions of others to survive and stimulate her ability, as well as eat regular food. Thus she created interesting emotions to feed on at home, much to the brother's annoyance.
One fatefull day, in their 19th year, the brothers and Nunnally were on a team of such defenders, when they were attacked by a group of strange hollows. Their masks were broken, revealing their faces. All had glowing red eyes, and were for the most part similar. They had the characteristic of a man-eating cat, lithe and fanged and clawed as they were. They were doing well against these more powerful than usual enemies, until one came that surpassed them.
With bloodstained claws and fangs, and a high-collared black cape, this newest Hollow was like nothing they had ever seen before. More powerful than at all imaginable, this one appeared to be the leader of the group. However, this was not very helpful, as it began killing their comerades with tremendous ease. Then, the figure stiffened in mid-stroke. "What's this, an Empath? Could be useful..." and he found Nunnally, who was vainly trying to convince this Hollow to die. He touched her head, and she fell asleep. "Oh dear, I hope I didn't hit her too hard, she could be useful.."
The Espada (they learned what he was a few years later) then turned to the brothers, smiling, as if he knew who she was to them. Chris of course became extremely angry, and tried to attack the Espada.....but this demonic being was too quick, knocking him into a wall before he could even begin to use his power. Tarian stood in cold fury, glaring daggers at the assualtant. "You will pay if you do not return her now."
The Hollow laughed, "Really now? I'd like to see you try to-" he started, but the velvetly voice stopped as a new hollow, better than the others but still insignificant compared to his master, materialized next to him and whispered something into his ear.
With a sigh, the Espada opened a Garganta behind himself. "It appears that we will have to cut our little fight off for now. Don't worry, your sister will return to you veeeery soon." And with that, the hollows all piled back into Hueco Mundo, leaving the brothers and one other the only survivors out of twenty.

After Nunnally's dissapearance, the Brothers became more estranged with the Shinigami. If they had not shown up less than three minutes later than they did, they might have been able to save their sister. But those damned Shinigami bastards cared nothing for their loss. They only talked about the low enemy body count. Heartless motherf----rs.
They went into training again, Chris focusing on speeding up his power reaction time, and Tarian working on a way to better their fighting style.
It was around this time that they were recruited to the NWO, for their renowned hatred of Shingami and raw power, plus the skill that they possessed in battle, fighting along with each other, communicating on an almost psychic level.

They work like a sword and shield, really:
Chris can take all forms of Energy that he comes into contact with, like heat, kinetic energy, etc... and turn it into electricity, storing it as Heat in his body until it can be used. The weakness in this brother is that he is highly succeptible to Electricity, and if he absorbs too much energy at once and keeps it too long, he will overheat and die. As well, he can only output the energy onto his skin.
Tarian can take Electricity and turn it into any other form of energy, so he's the opposite of Chris. His weaknesses are that he is just as succeptible to energy besides Electricity as any other person, and to use the Electricity, he must have it course through his body. Even though he is immune to being Electrocuted, the charge causes his heart to stop until he releases the power.
Therefore, what they tend to do is stick close to each other, Chris taking all the damage and giving the Energy absorbed to Tarian, who then retaliates against their enemies as fast as possible.
Chris can store any amount of energy, but anything more powerful than a stick of dynamite must be outputed immediately, or he will die. The same with Tarian's output.

They do not have too much armor due to the nature of their abilities. Therefore, they look almost completely normal when wearing their suit. They wear a type of lower body armor, that only covers the sides, that helps them move very quickly. Their feet are not covered either. Chris has a small wire that is tipped with hair from Tarian's head, which is inserted into his back, allowing him to deposit the electricity into the ground harmlessly, in case Tarian is nowhere nearby. As well, Tarian has a one arm cannon that is tuned to use different types of energy that he uses and focus it onto a single point. They also both have a com-link that looks like a skin-toned headset.
Equipment:
Grounding wire: Chris has a small wire that is tipped with hair from Tarian's head, which is inserted into his back, allowing him to deposit the electricity into the ground harmlessly, in case Tarian is nowhere nearby. If it is used too many times (7 times per thread) then it will melt, and it is no longer possible to put the energy into anything but his Brother.
Arm cannon: Tarian has a strange cannon-like object that is used to fucus the energies he uses, such as heat or electricity, better than he could usually. It is on the side of his right arm, ending right before the wrist.
(Due to the little amount of coverage, their Reiatsu does not get covered at all, and only increases their power level to a average 2 human)

"I'll see you guys later!" he yelled back to his friends, then turned around and began walking home. maybe, he thought to himself, if i don't leave before the sun dawns on the morrow. Man, i 'ate this type of lifestyle.
Walking down the street, thinking about tomorrow, he almost didn't catch the reiatsu of the Hollows. "Great", he said aloud "now i am obligated to get rid of these foul creatures." He pulled the lock from his neck and chanted. "Zeige Dich, Kyoumen Tsukurite!".
The insignia on the lock glowed with an inner light, then expanded beyond it's borders. Or is it me that shrinks, and the seal remains the same size? he wondered to himself. Damn! I must stop thinking that, it's Kyoumen's favorite jest. If i give in, it will only encourage him
"what happens now?" Kyuuketsuki asked telepathically. "well, there are quite a few high-quality hollows. i think we'll scout out the situation first he returned in the same manner. "shall we go?" Kyuuketsuki asked aloud. Kyoumen nodded his assent. "excellent!" he exclaimed. "Kyoumen, Kyoumen Tsukuru!" he said, and pointed at the ground in front of him.
Kyoumen's eyes flashed, the the ground at Kyuuketsuki's feet turned into a mirror. "right, lets go!" he said, and stepped foreword to fall right into the mirror.
As soon as Kyuuketsuki fell through the mirror, he had the interesting sensation of falling up, the landed on his feet right next to the Mirror. Looking around, he marveled at where he was. The Mirror-Realm was extraordinary in the fact that it looked almost exactly the same as the "real world". there were only two differences, the first being that beings like people and animals and even hollows did not appear in this world. the second was that the entire plane was.....shiny. every surface was reflective, but not exactly mirror-like. it was more that everything had a polished silvery quality to it. This ethereal place always get to me, man he thought to himself. "yeah, its reeeeeal shiny, dude" Kyoumen laughed to Kyuuketsuki. "Silence, you overgrown gecko" Kyuuketsuki snapped telepathically, pulling out his clawed gauntlets and putting them on. "oh, oh! that hurts me, on the inside. i think I'm gonna cry!" Mocked the dragon-like creature perched on Kyuuketsuki's shoulder, tail curled around his arm. "Fine, you go ahead and mock me. i don't care, I'm still in command so there." Kyuuketsuki retorted lamely. He began running to the area where he felt the hollow's reiatsu.
"you really need to work on your comebacks, my friend" remarked his familiar-type Doll. "the times, they are a'changin', and you need to conform to them, or you'll stick out too much. remember that fiasco back about, oh 658 years ago?" Kyuuketsuki groaned aloud. "that thing. i believe we had an accord not to talk 'bout that ever again! I'm telling you, that 'vampire hunter' dude had the ability to sense reiatsu. there's no other explanation!"
"yeah, yeah. whatever helps you sleep at night, man" laughed Kyoumen silently. "aint that quaint, though? the only time you try a true living soul, a vampire hunter just waltzes right up to you! "
Kyuuketsuki chuckled. "that is kinda funny"
Laughing, the duo arrived at the area where, in the World of the Living, the reiatsu from the hollows originated. Looking through one of the many leaves in the area he had equipped for such a purpose, the smile abruptly died. "Kyoumen, get ready. now."
The five hollows were attacking a small Human boy, no older than 10, who lived in the area. Kyuuketsuki had seen him numerous times playing with other children in the neighborhood and could easily sense the reiatsu within him. Thats probably why the hollows were targeting him.
"Kyoumen, Kyoumen Tsukuru!" he shouted telepathically, and jumped through the portal that appeared spontaneously nearby.
Passing through the portal right behind the hollows, yelling to catch their attention, he clawed at the closest hollow and dissapeared through another mirror he made.
The hollows stood, trying to anticipate his next move, when the ground beneath them became as a mirror, and the boy they had chased after fell through. Now at this, the hollows became very upset and started clawing at the ground themselves, until one of their number fell through themselves.
In the Mirror-realm, Kyuuketsuki had hidden the boy in a safe area, then prepared to take each hollow on, two at a time. Using the mirrors, he went through a portal to the living world and attacked a hollow, then he would retreat and attack the hollow in the Mirror-realm. Clawing through the hollow's mask in the Mirror-Realm, he allowed another to enter, to their death. The attack was pretty rutine, and ended quickly. Kyuuketsuki then regarded the boy.
This child was unremarkable, save for his strange spiritual pressure, his mismatched eyes, and that strange symbol on his forehead and hands. I shouldn't judge Kyuuketsuki thought to himself.
"what's your name, kid?" he asked politely, though he had already overheard the boy's name in town. "my name is Yumiya Kuromaru" the boy introduced formally, "but people call me Kuro"
"Well, Kuro. You know what those things that attacked you were?" Kyuuketsuki asked. Kuro nodded. Kyuuketsuki wasn't very surprised, his parents probably had explained to him what they were, because there was no way a child with so much spiritual pressure was born from people with none. Kyuuketsuki replied "well, seeing as it is late, do you want me to escort you back home?" Again, the young boy nodded. "excellent, lets go then! by the way, my name is Banjin Kyuuketsuki, but people call me Kyuuketsuki"
"is it alright if i call you Banjin" Kuro asked shyly.
"of course, call me whatever you like......"
