Shizuka's appearance can be summed up in one word: unusual. The most noticeable thing that one would notice when they first met Shizuka is her hair. It is a knee-length fiery red that is untameable and is usually seen loose so that it flows down her back in fiery waves. Occasionally she will do something with her hair but for the most part it is left down. The next thing one might notice is that her eyes are a shade darker than her hair and are very large and innocent looking but Shizuka is far from innocent. She has pale skin that burns easily and doesn't tan. Shizuka is short, about 4'6, and she weighs about 95lbs. Because of her petite build many think that she can't fight and this angers her greatly. Her build is petite with most of her height in her legs, which can be used to jump high in the air.
Shizuka's Shinigami uniform is unusual in itself. It consists of the shirt part of the uniform and nothing else. The shirt itself reaches her mid-thighs and Shizuka thinks that hakama are "useless articles of clothing that just got in her way," so she doesn't wear them but instead she wears a pair of tight black short shorts to discourage any peeping toms (not that any guy was brave enough to even think about looking up her skirt because of her division and all). The shirt is sleeveless and ties around her neck leaving her shoulders and back bare. Instead of wearing the standard white obi, Shizuka wears one that is a bright cherry pink which clashes with her hair and eyes sometimes. She wears her white captain's haori like any normal captain and on the back of it is the number for the 11th Division. While she was a lieutenant she wore the standard footwear but when she was promoted to a captain she wore thigh-high black socks and the same wooden-straw sandal things. Her zanpakuto is usually strapped to her back by a black strap and is covered in a bright pink or red cover.

She is extremely stubborn and has a very bad case of smart-Alec disease. She is also very sarcastic and speaks her mind before she thinks. She acts before she thinks and she gets in a whole ton of trouble because of this which then causes her to back-talk even more and then get in bigger trouble. She has a very bad potty mouth and doesn't hesitate to cuss someone out if they have annoyed her enough but now that she is a little more mature she doesn't cuss as often. She's a strong leader and is somewhat ignorant to things like love and all that stuff and because of this she keeps her heart under lock and key. Shizuka is proud to the point of arrogance but she doesn't describe herself as being arrogant but as having "so much pride that she could give it to hundreds and still have enough left for herself." Along with being arrogant she is sometimes overly-confident but never to the point of loosing her head in confidence. Because of Shizuka's confidence she doesn't take well to losing but she'll accept the fact, whether it be grudgingly or whole-heartedly.

Shizuka excelled in her studies and when she found out that there was a Spiritual Arts Academy she begged her mother to go. She wanted so badly to be around others her own age and when her mother hesitated Shizuka said that she would settle with going to the academy for two years and her mother agreed. She was so excited about being able to go to the academy that she packed everything she needed a week before she was supposed to go.
When Shizuka entered the academy she was awed by all the people there and was a little shy about meeting others. She was placed in the lowest year at the academy and when she found out that she already knew all the stuff that they taught she went to the headmaster and complained. The poor headmaster did everything she asked until she left the academy. She was placed in classes two years ahead of her age and many were surprised to see someone so young in their class. Many thought of her as a "nerd" and some even started to bully her and Shizuka just accepted it because she didn't want to be labeled as a "freak". After a few weeks of bullying she met someone who would be her friend for years until she left the academy. His name was Ryuu Kaminara and he stopped the bullies from bullying her. They became best friends and were inseparable, and many called them the "Twins of the Academy" since they finished each others sentences and had a lot of the same interests. While she was at the academy, Shizuka learned the name of her zanpakuto and she honed her skills with her zanpakuto but she was always the best at hand-to-hand combat. And she eventually learned great swordsmanship which clashed with her family's ideals and style of fighting but Shizuka didn't care. One day when they were training in swordsmanship a girl came to see how the academy was going and that girl was the captain of the 11th Division. Shizuka was instantly awed by the amount of respect and fear the girl got, even though she was so young looking, and she loved how he was always smiling and when she asked Ryuu later that day about the 11th Division he replied saying that the 11th Division was a division all about combat and out of all the divisions they were the ones most like a family and Shizuka made up her mind that day. She was going to be a member of the 11th.
And when the day came that she brought this up to her mother, she freaked out screaming that her daughter was not going to be in a division full of drunken men who only thought about getting into a girl's pants and when Shizuka persisted that she was going to be in the 11th her mother gave her two options: join the 11th and in return get exiled from the Shirayuki Clan of stay and become captain of the 2nd Division. Shizuka chose the first and was in turn kicked out of her family. But she didn't care and Shizuka walked with her head held high away from the place that was so narrow-minded about the divisions. She stayed at the academy and excelled through the years along with Ryuu and when it became time to graduate and become Shinigami, Shizuka put in her application for the 11th which shocked all the teachers but she didn't care. Ryuu had decided to become a teacher and Shizuka supported his decision.
Shizuka was accepted into the 11th and was dropped into the life of a Shinigami as the twentieth seat of the 11th. However, she didn't let this get her down and she trained and trained until she was promoted to the third seat of the squad. She was content with this position in the Soul Society and didn't dream of becoming a captain or even a lieutenant and when the day came that the vice captain was killed in a fight and she was promoted she felt extremely happy and proud of herself. She admired her captain greatly and when her captain was killed, Shizuka was devastated and was left to run a division that was broken and saddened by the death of their child-like captain but Shizuka pushed past her sadness and when she was suggested by one of her captain's close friends to be the new captain she was shocked but thankful. And when she was promoted to the position of a captain she was even more shocked and thankful and she vowed that she would be a great captain of the 11th and lead them into victory.
Additional Info: Shizuka hardly ever uses her shikai in a fight and relies solely on her unreleased zanpakuto, but that doesn't mean that she doesn't know how to use her shikai or bankai she just doesn't like too.
General
Name: Ookami no Gouka {Wolf of Hell Fire}
Spirit Description: Ookami has two forms, that of a wolf and that of a white-haired boy who looks like he's in his late teens. While in his wolf form Ookami is huge and stands up to about eight feet from the tip of his ears to the bottom of his paws. His coat is a whitish gray and gets darker as it reaches his paws. Running along his back is a mane of fire that starts at his forehead and ends at the tip of his tail. Around his paws are tuffs of red fur that look like fire but aren't. His eyes are a glowing green that have no pupils. While in his human form, Ookami resembles a white-haired boy in his late teens with onyx black eyes. His skin is tan and he wears a white Arabic looking suit with complex looking designs on the front of the jacket. On his forehead is a weird looking silver gem that is in the shape of an arrow pointing down, towards his nose. When he's in his human form he's usually laying on his side with a torch cradled in his left arm.
He's very lazy in his human form and often calls Shizuka Shizu-chan or Imouto, which means little sister, and this causes Shizuka to become angry at him but Ookami just shrugs and ignores her until shes done with her rant. While he's in his wolf form he's a little more energetic and is more fierce but he's hardly ever in his wolf form. Like Shizuka, Ookami is very prideful and he absolutely hates that Shizuka doesn't release him very often which causes him to taunt and tease the girl until she yells at him and ignores him.
Shizuka's inner world is a lovely grassland with a volcano straight dab in the middle of it and forests surrounding the grassland to form a circle around the volcano. The sun is always out and at the base of the volcano is a huge manor-like mansion with hundreds of different types of doors and rooms for Shizuka to explore. Ookami is often found lounging in the gardens that surround the manor or in the main room staring blankly at a wall and when Shizuka asks about it he says nothing but turns his attention away from the wall and pays attention to Shizuka. If Ookami is not in either of these places than he is at the mouth of the volcano in his wolf form and that usually means that something bad is going to happen.
Sealed: In it's sealed form, Ookami no Gouka, or Ookami as Shizuka calls him, resembles a regular katana. It has the black hilt, the black cross-guard, and the long silver blade. The only unusual thing about it is that it's so long that it has to be worn on Shizuka's back so that she can walk right and draw it out quick enough for battle.
Shikai
Activation Phrase: Tenka Shaba! {Set fire to this corrupt world!}
Appearance:
Shizuka's shikai is quite unusual which suits the unusual girl perfectly. It is a long foot and a half dagger with a long, ivory colored chain attached to a metal ring at the end of it. The dagger itself is a dark ivory color and the grip of both daggers are black. At the top of the dagger is a metal ring with three spikes sticking out of the left side of the ring with a curved bar crossing them. When thrown the dagger glows a faint crimson color. The chain can retract and lengthen deepening on how much reiatsu Shizuka puts into lengthening the chain and the chain is absolutely silent when the dagger is thrown.
Abilities:
Dokuyakedo {Poison Burn}- This is the only ability of Shizuka's shikai but is is quite formidable. Her released zanpakuto glows a bright crimson red and scarlet flames start to lick at the ivory chain. Shizuka throws the dagger at her enemy and the flames lick across the dagger and if it hits her opponent wherever the dagger scratches bursts into flames and after a few seconds the flames disappear and leave a nasty burn. Shizuka can pull the dagger back by the chain very quickly. Whatever body part the burn is on is paralyzed until the burn is treated and healed. The paralysis can also disappear if Shizuka wills it too and if she doesn't want to and there is no one around to heal the burn then you are basically screwed. The paralysis paralyzes the whole limb that it hits and this attack takes up 67% of Shizuka's reiatsu.
Bankai
Activation Phrase: Bankai!
Appearance: Shizuka's bankai is the same as her shikai in appearance but in power there is a difference. The thing that changes from shikai to bankai is Shizuka's appearance. She's still wearing her Shinigami uniform but instead of being the traditional black its white and her obi is a dark blood red. Her hair changes too and literately looks like its made of fire and her eyes turn a glowing green. Tuffs of what look like red fur appear around her ankles and wrists and she's no longer wearing shoes but is barefoot instead and has no socks either.
Abilities:
Faiamaru {Fire Circle}- Shizuka spins the dagger around by the chain and the dagger can spin so fast that its a blur. While the dagger and chain are spinning in a circle it sets on fire and its a blur of red and orange. This can be used as a shield against attacks or if she suddenly stops spinning the dagger and flicks her wist the dagger, which is on fire, heads towards her opponent and can cause great damage to them if it hits any vital parts of their body. This attack takes up 71% of her reiatsu.
**Note- There are two attacks for Shizuka's bankai but she only knows of one because Ookami is keeping the other attack a secret from her. Shizuka hardly ever uses her bankai so not many know what it is.
Bakudo
# [9] Strike- When cast this kido sends a concentrated orb of red light toward the target at amazing speeds, and if it hits engulfs them in a blinding light that paralyzes all their bodily functions for a short period depending on their overall strength.

# [61] Six Rods of Prison Light - Summons six thin, but wide, beams of light that slam into a target's midsection, holding them in place. A moving target is hard to hit with this kido, but one standing still is a near guaranteed hit due to its amazing speed. However for a level 60 kido it is fairly weak, anyone stronger than the user would be able to break out of it if given some time.

Roleplay Sample: The sun shone brightly over the shopping districts of Tokyo, it's golden rays warming everyone up...... well everyone except for Mikazuki Isabelle who wasn't the biggest fan of the sun. It's not that she hated it, its just that the sun could be so inconvenient sometimes. She didn't know how someone could love the sun, with its harmful rays giving people sunburns and melting all the pretty snow away in the winter. Isabelle absolutely loved the snow with it's powdery fluffiness and it's beauty. She thinks that winter is the best season of the year but she doesn't wish that it was winter all year round.
Isabelle walked through the crowded streets, her bright pink hair sticking out like a sore thumb. Even though many called her hair 'strange' or 'unnatural', Izzy didn't listen, claiming that having unusual colored hair was the 'fashion' in France and that her hair was all natural. Not to mention that pink was her favorite color so it added to the "coolness" of her hair. Isabelle was in a very bright colored outfit that some would call 'to out there' but Isabelle loved it and didn't care. Her shirt was a bright yellow with red flowers scattered across the front of it and she wore a bright red skirt with yellow lining. She wore a pair of pale yellow knee-high converse and her hair was pulled up into it's usual pigtail-ponytail. A pink purse was hanging from her right arm with her right hand clutching the strap. The purse suddenly moved a little and a small figure popped it's head out of the opening. It was Izzy's Chara, Mimi. Mimi had chin length blonde hair and large royal blue eyes. She wore a white dress that flared out a little and her little white wings were flapping in annoyance.
"Why do i have to stay in the bag!!!" she whined glaring at Isabelle.
"Because we don't want anyone to see you," Isabelle answered in a matter-of-fact tone. Mimi huffed, mumbled something under her breath, and went back into the purse. Isabelle smiled and patted the bag in a caring manner, her magenta eyes starring straight ahead of her.

She stayed at the academy and excelled through the years along with Ryuu and when it became time to graduate and become Shinigami, Shizuka put in her application for the 11th which shocked all the teachers but she didn't care. Ryuu had decided to become a teacher and Shizuka supported his decision.
Shizuka was accepted into the 11th and was dropped into the life of a Shinigami as the twentieth seat of the 11th. However, she didn't let this get her down and she trained and trained until she was promoted to the third seat of the squad. She was content with this position in the Soul Society and didn't dream of becoming a captain or even a lieutenant and when the day came that the vice captain was killed in a fight and she was promoted she felt extremely happy and proud of herself. She admired her captain greatly and when her captain was killed, Shizuka was devastated and was left to run a division that was broken and saddened by the death of their child-like captain but Shizuka pushed past her sadness and when she was suggested by one of her captain's close friends to be the new captain she was shocked but thankful. And when she was promoted to the position of a captain she was even more shocked and thankful and she vowed that she would be a great captain of the 11th and lead them into victory.
Additional Info: Shizuka hardly ever uses her shikai in a fight and relies solely on her unreleased zanpakuto, but that doesn't mean that she doesn't know how to use her shikai or bankai she just doesn't like too.
Zanpakuto
General
Name: Ookami no Gouka {Wolf of Hell Fire}
Spirit Description: Ookami has two forms, that of a wolf and that of a white-haired boy who looks like he's in his late teens. While in his wolf form Ookami is huge and stands up to about eight feet from the tip of his ears to the bottom of his paws. His coat is a whitish gray and gets darker as it reaches his paws. Running along his back is a mane of fire that starts at his forehead and ends at the tip of his tail. Around his paws are tuffs of red fur that look like fire but aren't. His eyes are a glowing green that have no pupils. While in his human form, Ookami resembles a white-haired boy in his late teens with onyx black eyes. His skin is tan and he wears a white Arabic looking suit with complex looking designs on the front of the jacket. On his forehead is a weird looking silver gem that is in the shape of an arrow pointing down, towards his nose. When he's in his human form he's usually laying on his side with a torch cradled in his left arm.
He's very lazy in his human form and often calls Shizuka Shizu-chan or Imouto, which means little sister, and this causes Shizuka to become angry at him but Ookami just shrugs and ignores her until shes done with her rant. While he's in his wolf form he's a little more energetic and is more fierce but he's hardly ever in his wolf form. Like Shizuka, Ookami is very prideful and he absolutely hates that Shizuka doesn't release him very often which causes him to taunt and tease the girl until she yells at him and ignores him.
Shizuka's inner world is a lovely grassland with a volcano straight dab in the middle of it and forests surrounding the grassland to form a circle around the volcano. The sun is always out and at the base of the volcano is a huge manor-like mansion with hundreds of different types of doors and rooms for Shizuka to explore. Ookami is often found lounging in the gardens that surround the manor or in the main room staring blankly at a wall and when Shizuka asks about it he says nothing but turns his attention away from the wall and pays attention to Shizuka. If Ookami is not in either of these places than he is at the mouth of the volcano in his wolf form and that usually means that something bad is going to happen.
Sealed: In it's sealed form, Ookami no Gouka, or Ookami as Shizuka calls him, resembles a regular katana. It has the black hilt, the black cross-guard, and the long silver blade. The only unusual thing about it is that it's so long that it has to be worn on Shizuka's back so that she can walk right and draw it out quick enough for battle.
Shikai
Activation Phrase: Tenka Shaba! {Set fire to this corrupt world!}
Appearance:
Shizuka's shikai is quite unusual which suits the unusual girl perfectly. It is a long foot and a half dagger with a long, ivory colored chain attached to a metal ring at the end of it. The dagger itself is a dark ivory color and the grip of both daggers are black. At the top of the dagger is a metal ring with three spikes sticking out of the left side of the ring with a curved bar crossing them. When thrown the dagger glows a faint crimson color. The chain can retract and lengthen deepening on how much reiatsu Shizuka puts into lengthening the chain and the chain is absolutely silent when the dagger is thrown.
Abilities:
Dokuyakedo {Poison Burn}- This is the only ability of Shizuka's shikai but is is quite formidable. Her released zanpakuto glows a bright crimson red and scarlet flames start to lick at the ivory chain. Shizuka throws the dagger at her enemy and the flames lick across the dagger and if it hits her opponent wherever the dagger scratches bursts into flames and after a few seconds the flames disappear and leave a nasty burn. Shizuka can pull the dagger back by the chain very quickly. Whatever body part the burn is on is paralyzed until the burn is treated and healed. The paralysis can also disappear if Shizuka wills it too and if she doesn't want to and there is no one around to heal the burn then you are basically screwed. The paralysis paralyzes the whole limb that it hits and this attack takes up 67% of Shizuka's reiatsu.
Bankai
Activation Phrase: Bankai!
Appearance: Shizuka's bankai is the same as her shikai in appearance but in power there is a difference. The thing that changes from shikai to bankai is Shizuka's appearance. She's still wearing her Shinigami uniform but instead of being the traditional black its white and her obi is a dark blood red. Her hair changes too and literately looks like its made of fire and her eyes turn a glowing green. Tuffs of what look like red fur appear around her ankles and wrists and she's no longer wearing shoes but is barefoot instead and has no socks either.
Abilities:
Faiamaru {Fire Circle}- Shizuka spins the dagger around by the chain and the dagger can spin so fast that its a blur. While the dagger and chain are spinning in a circle it sets on fire and its a blur of red and orange. This can be used as a shield against attacks or if she suddenly stops spinning the dagger and flicks her wist the dagger, which is on fire, heads towards her opponent and can cause great damage to them if it hits any vital parts of their body. This attack takes up 71% of her reiatsu.
**Note- There are two attacks for Shizuka's bankai but she only knows of one because Ookami is keeping the other attack a secret from her. Shizuka hardly ever uses her bankai so not many know what it is.

Bakudo
# [9] Strike- When cast this kido sends a concentrated orb of red light toward the target at amazing speeds, and if it hits engulfs them in a blinding light that paralyzes all their bodily functions for a short period depending on their overall strength.

# [61] Six Rods of Prison Light - Summons six thin, but wide, beams of light that slam into a target's midsection, holding them in place. A moving target is hard to hit with this kido, but one standing still is a near guaranteed hit due to its amazing speed. However for a level 60 kido it is fairly weak, anyone stronger than the user would be able to break out of it if given some time.
*Incantation: Carriage of thunder. Bridge of a spinning wheel. With light, divide this into six.*

Roleplay Sample: The sun shone brightly over the shopping districts of Tokyo, it's golden rays warming everyone up...... well everyone except for Mikazuki Isabelle who wasn't the biggest fan of the sun. It's not that she hated it, its just that the sun could be so inconvenient sometimes. She didn't know how someone could love the sun, with its harmful rays giving people sunburns and melting all the pretty snow away in the winter. Isabelle absolutely loved the snow with it's powdery fluffiness and it's beauty. She thinks that winter is the best season of the year but she doesn't wish that it was winter all year round.
Isabelle walked through the crowded streets, her bright pink hair sticking out like a sore thumb. Even though many called her hair 'strange' or 'unnatural', Izzy didn't listen, claiming that having unusual colored hair was the 'fashion' in France and that her hair was all natural. Not to mention that pink was her favorite color so it added to the "coolness" of her hair. Isabelle was in a very bright colored outfit that some would call 'to out there' but Isabelle loved it and didn't care. Her shirt was a bright yellow with red flowers scattered across the front of it and she wore a bright red skirt with yellow lining. She wore a pair of pale yellow knee-high converse and her hair was pulled up into it's usual pigtail-ponytail. A pink purse was hanging from her right arm with her right hand clutching the strap. The purse suddenly moved a little and a small figure popped it's head out of the opening. It was Izzy's Chara, Mimi. Mimi had chin length blonde hair and large royal blue eyes. She wore a white dress that flared out a little and her little white wings were flapping in annoyance.
"Why do i have to stay in the bag!!!" she whined glaring at Isabelle.
"Because we don't want anyone to see you," Isabelle answered in a matter-of-fact tone. Mimi huffed, mumbled something under her breath, and went back into the purse. Isabelle smiled and patted the bag in a caring manner, her magenta eyes starring straight ahead of her.
