Of the four only Loreldia truly has the strength to carry this world into the future for the betterment of humanity. Regardless for a time the three super states we must share the continent of Velayria with are a necessary evil as we build our social strength which will someday shine like a bright beacon and convert all those with righteousness in their hearts. Until that day comes the states you must be aware of are Urobarias, Mephas, Amelria, and of course your blazing star of honor and home of unmatched beauty, Loreldia.
Below you shall find a map of the continent of Valayria with the Super States clearly labeled and color coded for your convenience. Below that you will find descriptions of each so that you might familiarize yourself with those impeding our great march forward. Use this to educate yourselves on the challenges yet to come.

Airman
Airman are an evolution in combat aircraft. The first model the 1-R was created by the Loreldian aviator and mechanic Roberte Louter in AOD. 856 and there capability has only increased since then. An Airman is a vehicle that can fly as, if not faster, than most traditional aircraft and then at a flip of the proper handle can transform to a semi-humanoid form. In this form you are given enhanced mobility through reduced speed but also gain the ability to change your oriented direction at a moments notice, this is the key difference from traditional aircraft. An Airman can quickly turn around via the transformed mode and open fire on targets at any angle. Airman come in hundreds of models along with various rolls, however they are predominately fighter vehicles and we shall only be covering those you are likely to encounter and/or pilot. Most cadets will go on to pilot one of the vehicles here within, so listen up!

44-R “Bucket”
General Info: A fighter Airman that has seen service in just about every Super State the 44-R's are obsolete and no longer play an active roll in the Loreldian military. Created by the private sector in AOD. 912 the 44-R's were the first supersonic Airman model and for many years were fondly referred to as “Mega”'s, now though they are excessively outclassed in every regard and are more frequently known amongst pilots as “Bucket”'s. Only an uncaring military would field a pilot in one against radically superior Airman, but it happens. Just remember if you find yourself gunning down 44-R's with ease you don't have to feel guilty because it was THEIR CHOICE to attack our BEAUTIFUL HOMELAND. 44-R's are larger than most modern Airman and are particularly bulky when transformed, this gives them a slight armor advantage but they are virtually incapable of sideways movement in humanoid form, and topping out at 1123kph in jet form means they are anywhere between 400 and 900kph slower than current craft. You can recognize a 44-R by its “snub”-nose tip and bulky square engines that smooth-outward into unusually elongated wings.
How to fight: While at one time a fierce opponent as long as you find yourself in a modern craft there is no need to concern if you find yourself engaging 44-R's. Even in superior numbers their slow speeds and bulky size make them out-maneuverable and easy targets. Your radar specialist should detect them on radar early on, but even if they manage to reach you either by using terrain or radar blocking technologies (No cadet should concern themselves with this possibility. Such technologies are incredibly expensive and are NEVER encountered outside of training or close to important enemy strongholds, like a capital which you will not need to concern yourself with) there is no need to fret. If radar-lock is achieved on you simply outmaneuver whatever incoming attack has been fired, then achieve your own lock and fire away, a 44-R will not be able to dodge our SUPERIOR LORELDIAN WEAPONRY. If in combat via humanoid form Pulse Rifle type weapons prove effective against the 44-R's slightly stronger armor, all forms of missiles and close-quarters weapons are effective as well as long as used appropriately. Simple! Smooth flying veteran!
To all cadets. You may find yourself piloting a 44-R during your training but NEVER in a combat scenario. As long as you continue to excel as a pilot you will graduate to learning to use more superior vehicles before you are fielded. 44-R's are most often used to acclimate new cadets to super-sonic air travel and the G's involved.

Traditional Aircraft
Though widely transcended by the far more maneuverable Airman models some traditional aircraft remain in service. These are older vehicles that possess minimal moving parts, tend to be incompatible with newer weaponry, and of course possess no transformation ability. While most of the workhorse fighters that began their lives well over a century ago have been retired some still remain. This is either because the roll they serve, such as high-altitude spy missions, would not benefit from an Airman model. Or in some cases because they can still perform their previously alloted task without being greatly outclassed by the superior Airman, this is generally only true for some “new” models still being created. Remember! Your country cares for you and would never sink to putting you in aircraft that can't function in todays escalating arms race, but some countries will. THEY don't care for their PEOPLE and while you might feel bad for firing on a foe piloting an outdated model, remember that they would gladly fire on you, your country, your religion, or even YOUR FAMILY! You are protecting FREEDOM! Similar to Airman there are THOUSANDS of traditional aircraft so we will only cover those you are likely to encounter/pilot.

U-B7 “Demolisher”
General Info: Created by the Urobarian military in AOD. 932 the U-B7 is the primary bombing aircraft of the Urobarias army. With a top flight speed of 307kph and providing a large target thanks to its bulky frame the U-B7 would long since have been retired in the Loreldian army but the Urobarians insist on making use of it. The way they continue to make them valid fighting machines is through the tactic of throwing walls of these craft at a target, or alongside fighter-jets/Airman and/or LRM's. The U-B7 is a free-drop bomber with a payload of 40000kg meaning that when the payload is released it destroys large areas without consideration, landing on both civilian and military targets, a VILE and DISHONORABLE tactic. You shall recognize the U-B7 by its long tube like structure and 50 meter wing-span as well as its typical black or deep olive paint trim, it also lacks any form of grace and has to make large turns so you will always find the U-B7 at high altitudes.
How to fight: Thankfully the U-B7 is incapable of masking its radar signature due to the massive surface area. This means it cannot “sneak-up” on you and will be detected by your radar specialist long before the target is reached. When engaging if a ways from the target you must first eliminate the inevitable defending forces. Without its defenders the U-B7 only has three defensive machine-guns one posted atop, and two on the underbelly which are widely ineffective outside of 200 meters. Line your shots up and fire in bursts with your front-mounted machine guns until the target loses lift. If the U-B7 is close to reaching its target choose a “designated shooter” in your squad. If thats you then it will be your job to target the U-B7's while your squad handles the defenders, in a case like this utilizing missiles or long-distance weaponry in humanoid form (provided you are piloting an Airman) is suggested. Easy as pie! Good shooting ace!
