A coincidence is simply something referring to two instances that aren’t actually related but similar, occurring at exactly the same time. Most people pay these instances little thought beyond the occasional “That’s kind of neat” sort of response.
In the year 2005, two of these instances took place making a strange coincidence. In the same few months, two cities sprang up in the United States and Japan. In the US, thanks to the support of the Goland Chemical Company, the massive city of Bellissima Vista rose to national importance within the next ten years. Though it hasn’t been proven, many speculate that the Goland Company, under the control of Henri Goland IV, is the one truly in control of the massive city. No one has yet to prove this however.
At the same time Bellissima Vista came into the limelight, in Japan, the city Hamakuri was constructed off the coast of Japan. The city was called the “Incredible Floating Metropolis” by foreigners, though it’s support was firmly rooted in the sea bed below it. It was a marvel of engineering, able to stand up to all sorts of weather, and became populated almost too quickly for its own good. Hamakuri expanded at an incredible rate, and quickly became a major tourist attraction. Yet, no one knows why this massive city was constructed on the sea, since it seemed to be a rather waste of time to even attempt the feat in the first place.
Two cities that rose up from almost nothing, almost completely defying logic when it came to their creation, what will this strange coincidence amount to?
