Of Techno Crap and Swinging Blades

The birds chirped softly outside the window of the 12th Division's laboratory as one Kiataro Kazue was hard at work on a piece of mechanical genius. The object in question looked to be a rectangular black box with a ringed antenna coming out from one of the ends. Upon further inspection would would say many a wire and gear, with chips and spires all coinciding together inside the black box. A small screwdriver was clutched in Kazue's hand as he twisted it round and round till it was tight. He wiped his brow with his spare hand and took rectangular piece and placed it ontop of the box, sealing it shut. "Now...I need a test subject..." His mind drifted to the various other divisions as he thought of who he could test his contraption on.

Don't get any funny ideas Kazue... His Zanpakuto chimed in with a scolding tone in his voice. Karasui's wielder rolled his eyes in response.

"But I need a test subject damn it..." Suddenly a grin spread across his face as he thought of the different divisions. "Yes...they're awfully stupid in the 11th division...save maybe Nekomi-Taichou..." The Vice Captain grabbed the device and stalked off towards the door, slipping his Zanpakuto's fully sealed form onto his hand. The Senrei-looking glove fit snugly and comfortably, Kazue flexed his hand, feeling spiritually woven fabric stretch and enjoying the feeling of being so close to his Zanpakuto. "Alright...let's go Karasu."

It only took a couple minutes utilizing flash step to reach the training grounds where he knew he would find SOMEONE from the 11th division. And sure enough, he saw Borador Zaraka in an intense sparring session with someone else. The two finished in a flurry of blows and Zaraka's partner stalked off to take a break. "This would be my chance no?" Kazue mused to himself as he approached the muscular form of 11th Division juggernaut. "Yo!" He called out to him, grinning to himself mischievously.

[Borador]

He turns a blank expression coming over his face knowing the battle was now over "Yes vice captain Kazue." He looks at him placing his Zanpakuto in its sheath, it coming over into a voice…. Borador you know division 12 is full of tricksters.

Borador hits the hilt of his sword and looks at Vice captain Kazue. ”Are you hear to play a trick on me Kazue or just spar.” A malicious grin covers his face as he gets grip on the end of his Zanpakuto.

He steps towards Kazue his red reitsu jumping making his robes fly up a bit with the energy pushing sand up from the ground. “I don’t like being tricked Kazue, but I love to fight.” His smile growing wider while he awaited his response.

His reitsu drops back to normal claming down a bit. “I am sorry vice captain Kazue I lose myself a bit during battle.” Releases his Zanpakuto’s hilt letting arms fall to side as if he just got commanded by a captain to cease fire.

Kazue raises an eyebrow in response to the massive Shinigami's fluctuating reietsu, shakes his head in exasperation when this juggernaut calms himself after initiating a challenge. "No no no, it is fine. However, would you be interested in assisting me in something? If my hypothesis is correct, battle itself could be changed for Seireite." The Vice Captain's vision separates, half of it viewing his inner world, the other half keeping a trained eye on Zaraka.

"If I'm correct...this could drastically increase the strength of a shinigami's both physical blows and kidou...Problem is, I don't know what side effects it might have. thus subject A." He indicates Zaraka to his Zanpakuto. Karasu nods in response, the shadow of his arms folding as he shifts his position slightly on the gnarled branch he stood on.

"Just be careful Kazue...you know what the bloodthirsty bastards are like." The spirit crouched down, making him look more like a vulture that was preparing to lift off to devour a meal.

"Yeah yeah...I'll be careful..." Kazue rolled his eyes at his zanpakuto's chiding. The Vice Captain's vision shifted back to stare up at Zaraka, waiting for an answer.

[Borador]

His power jumps again “So you do want to fight!” He yells, but it seems very happy despite the pitch.

“He pulls out Yaketora spinning it in his arm. “Do you want to fight out the kinks of your little sword?” He lets out more power it getting over to Kazue.

He steps forward getting directly in front of him Kazue. “You want to fight here or go some where so I can go full force without destroying things.” He steps past him a good ways before turning around awaiting his answer with his sword drawn spinning a fire following the tip around. “Or should I just start now and enjoy the fight as much as possible.”

Borador calm down now your getting to into his trickery he will defeat you terribly… Yaketora yells into his brain making his head throb with its yelling the huge tiger appearing to Borador breathing fire on him before vanishing once again.

Borador steps back a bit wide eyed ,but once again smiles. “Yes lets do it here1” HE turns aiming his Zanpakuto at him getting into a wide spread position leaning body back a bit waiting for the enemy to come once again hiding his reitsu.

Kazue's expression turned into one of uncertainty as he attempted to figure out how Zaraka got "LET US FIGHT NOW HAHAHAHA" from "Would you mind helping me with something?" Kazue bit his lip and took a step back as he held his hands up. "Wait a second, that is not what I m-" before he could finish his sentence, the 11th division dumbass started screaming his head off about where to fight and boasting about his battle prowess. Finally he decided he wanted to fight at the training ground they stood in. Kazue sighed in exasperation. "Can't we talk about this?" The flare of reietsu emanating from Zaraka and his stance told him otherwise. "I guess it can't be helped...

The Vice Captain leaped backwards to avoid the blow, his zanpakuto materializing into the bow of it's sealed form. "Idiots...all of them. It's why I picked a member of division 11." Kazue smiled and began planning how he would implement his device into the fight that would soon insue.

Kazue drew the string back, a bolt of blue spirit particles forming between his two fingers. He released it in with a grin, the arrow searing the air as it headed towards Zaraka's left shoulder.

[Borador]

Borador watches as it comes through the air stepping to side right as it passed missing cutting his sleeveless arm a small amount of blood coming from it. HE takes finger and rubs arm licking the blood from his finger with a smile “So much power in one shot I think this will be fun!” He exclaims.

He once again takes a stance a heat felt through the air as his blades tip seemed to heat up turning a searing red before he once again spins it a huge fire coming from the Zanpakuto’s tip. He steps forward the air seeming to burn as the smoking tip of the Zanpakuto seeming to cool.

Borador lets out a heavy laugh. “Scared yet little one.” He smiles his malicious smile once again rushing forward the burning flames heard through the air as it burnt taking a step directly in front of the enemy swinging the blazing hot blade at his shoulder while attempting to bring a heavy knee from the other side of him trying to connect from two directions to increase amount of damage done to the opponent in the short amount of time.

Kazue swore under his breath as he saw Zaraka using more power then he predicted from the get go. "Scared? No, it's more like amused really..." Analyzing the situation, Kazue took note that the blade was burning brightly with reietsu, creating a flame that swarmed on the zanpakuto. Without warning, Zaraka made a move, swining the burning blade at Kazue while also aiming a knee kick at the Vice Captain's stomach. "Shit..." Kazue gathered reietsu in his legs, and vanished just barely escaping the blow with a well utilized shunpo. The heat gave Kazue a first degree burn on his cheek. The fact that the blade was radiating such an intense heat showed that Zaraka was probably having fun. before he made his narrow escape. "It would seem I'm getting careless..." Kazue spit on the ground and straightened his stance, closing his eyes and pulling the string back smoothly. An arrow was fired with exact precision at Zaraka's chest.

Kazue's arms tightened as he pulled the device from his pocket. He pressed a button and a green lightning sparked and ran down his bow. The Vice Captain drew the string back a second time, the spirit particles coalescing into another shaft, this one green. A wind picked up around him as he gathered more energy then before, dust kicking up around him in a continuously spinning circle. His untidy hair was blowing softly in the force of the gale as Kazue gathered reietsu in his legs again. A 'whomph' of compressed air filling the space that Kazue had occupied just a second ago signified another flash step. Around three yards above Zaraka, Kazue aimed the arrow straight downwards, this time charged with the energy from the device.

He saw the first arrow lowering the burning blade pushing it away with force forcing his body backwards with extreme speeds sliding back swiftly as the second arrow collides with the ground pressing him back farther. He stabs his sword into the ground the burning heard as the sand around his Zanpakuto turned to ash as the fire grew bigger till he finally made his stop. “So you’re hiding energy from me.”

His smirk appears as he looks at Kazue before raising his hands into the air. “Kido number 31 shot of red fire: *Incantation: Ye Lord! Mask of blood and flesh, all creation, flutter of wings, ye who bears the name of Man! Inferno and pandemonium, the sea barrier surges, March on to the south!*” A large red blast of energy flies towards the enemy with much force directly at his chest.

Zaraka smiles launching self into air behind the Blast using thrust pushing the blast even faster as he follows it up getting over the blast bring his sword down towards the opponents hips ni a thrust a huge flame following it down.

Kazue's lips curled into a smirk as he observed the effects on the ground that the charge from his device had on them. A plant grew swiftly to a foot tall, a small cry was heard from it and it lashed around as if in a mindless rage before wilting and dieing within the span of a dozen or so seconds. "Hm...If that's what it does to a plant...I wonder..." the Vice Captain didn't have much time to think as he saw the Shot of Red Fire flying towards him. "Kidou from one of the bloodthirsty? Interesting..." The fact that the Zaraka was stupid enough to engage an opponent who had an air-type zanpakuto showed just how lucky Kazue was to have picked him as a test subject.

The Vice Captain sighed and aimed his bow at the flying Zaraka. Another emerald coalesced from the spirit particles around them, charged with the energy from the device. Pressing a button on the belt at his waist, a shield projected around him, acting like a second skin. The properties of the shield worked similar to Hanki, as it nullifies a single kidou no matter how powerful it is. Unfrotunately, as soon as the shot of red fire impacted the shield went down and began it's recharge. (About 4 posts)

Kazue's lips widened into a grin as he saw Zaraka's flaming sword. "Hado 1, SHO!" The Vice Captain was flown backwards from the opposing Shinigami, as he aimed Karasutokui at the juggernaut of a shinigami, firing another green arrow.

Once again with a smile rotates his body the arrow flying above his head only hitting some of his long purple hair as he spiraled to the ground finding his feet as soon as he landed. “You think my division is stupid huh.” He shifts his smile to a frown as he steps a foot forward placing blade next to his head perpendicular to his head.

The blade releases much steam as it lightens its color him spinning it once more cutting off the end of his hair that the arrow hit just incase of it’s affects getting to him as he noticed on the plant. “I am ready to prove you wrong about the 11th Division my friend, Kido 54 Abolishing Flames.” He launched another red blast it flying him running behind it stabbing his blade near the back launching more heat into it making it grow as he launched it it reaching the size of about his opponent’s body in length and width.

He smiles and steps to the side moving swiftly closing a gap in a few seconds with much speed from someone his stature swing his sword into the ground sending a gust of fire off of his sword at his enemy to attempt to blind him so the other blast could hit him. Also pushing his body back so he had range to dodge next attack before he was fired if his technique didn’t hit on target.

"Tch..."

Kazue was annoyed...pure and simple. This imbecile was becoming rather bothersome. The wind enveloped him and he flashed onto a nearby building, not completely avoiding both attacks that Zaraka had attempted, but avoiding any major damage. Kazue's shoulder was singed badly and was throbbing painfully. "You just HAD to fight didn't you? Just helping me out would have been so much easier for both of us." The Vice Captain sighed in exasperation, and then his expression grew serious as his patience ran out. "If you really think you can fight me with such trivial tactics, then you my friend are sorely misguided."

With a thrust of his free hand, his palm facing outwards and his zanpakuto crossed over his chest, Kazue's voice became dangerous. "Carriage of thunder. Bridge of a spinning wheel. With light, divide this into six, Bakudo 61: Rikujokoro!" Six wide but thin beams of light materialized around Zaraka. All of them rocketed towards Zaraka with enough force and speed to leave very little, if any room for escape. A gust of spirit particles materialized on the bow as Kazue once again drew the string back, and fired it with deadly precision at Zaraka.

His eyes grew wide as he fought to move his arm getting it free after a while using much strength “Smolder Yaketora!” He screamed as his sword launched a huge flame from it forming the shape of a large cleaver of his shikia form its power radiating his reitsu making the bars give him more freedom to move.

Borador swings it down hitting the ground with the tip using its force to break enough of the bond’s to fall completely to the ground with the blade hitting it cracks beginning to form as a huge burst of fire launches out of Ground from the tip of the sword flying forward connecting with the bolt using much reitsu to destroy it and keep the flames flying towards his enemy as the fire came back ripping off his upper robe and burning his skin getting his left arm badly.

He breaths heavily after this attack coughing a bit his arm covered in ashes from where it was burned. “This is helping you isn’t it, in all means your enjoying the fight and you’re enjoying beating me aren’t you.” He smiles and stumbles a bit. “You’re just as blood thirsty as me.” He steps forward a bit his smile coming on his face his cheek having first degree burns on it. “You may win, but I will not say I didn’t fight my heart out.” HE stumbles to left a bit before finally regaining his composure. “And I won’t allow you to say you killed me.” He screams his smile fading to a serious face.

Kazue sighed in exasperation as Zaraka rambled on about a few things...Kazue being bloodthirsty, him fighting his heart out, not gonna say he killed the juggernaut, blah blah blah. Kazue crossed his arms in front of him, weathering the attack, recieving several hefty burns in the process. "You really are as stupid as you look you know that?" Kazue brushed his arms off, acting like he wasn't damaged at all even though he was in pain. "I am NOT trying to kill you...I'm trying to USE you. Do you get the difference? No of course not, you're too stupid to realize just how ignorant you are..." Kazue rolled his eyes as he observed the weakened Zaraka. "Imbecile..." THe Vice captain repeated, staring at the Shinigami's shikai.

An aura of energy surrounded Kazue as he prepared his next attempt at trying out his device. Kazue once again summoned an arrow, sparking with the last of the emerald energy in the device. "You should just stand still...this isn't going to hurt you know...at least I don't think it will." If the arrow impacted with the juggernaut, Zaraka would feel a massive boost in strength and stamina for a short while. The notched arrow was released with a shockwave behind it as it broke the sound barrier.

[Borador]

Stood there waiting for it as if he was ready to die just standing still as it hit him. As it came in contact with his skin his power grew higher as he stood straight his smile returning to his face. “I feel the power.” He raised his left hand looking at the burn as if it were nothing. “This helps make the pain go away.” Zaraka broke into laughter. “Was it worth fighting with me for this?”

He rose his blade into an upright position fire ten times bigger than the one on his sealed Zanpakuto erupting from the blade. He swung it to test his new power huge slashes of fire shooting out in Kazue’s direction his speed increasing with his swings for about a full 30 seconds.

”This is wonderful.” Had stopped paying attention to Kazue as he tested the strength bestowed on him swing the blade making pull body roll with the swing flipping over landing on his feet. “I feel like I can beat anything with this.” He walks to the left looking at his zanpakuto with interesting wondering what new abilities it may have.

Kazue sighs in exasperation. "So I guess it worked...at least for the most part. Don't overuse your power thinking you have limitless strength...I don't know what kind of side effects it might have. But that's the entire fun of it eh? The unexpected risk of using science!" With this Kazue began babbling on about the wonders of technology and inventing.
