Rub, rub, rub. "Dangit, this spot won't go away. Oh well, I guess I should grab a cleaner." a voice spoke as a man walked back into the shop, grabbing a cleaner before returning to the desk where the spot had been. It was, of course, Hunter Kirizaki, the store's owner and manager. He had been trying to remove the spot for about a minute with a wet rag, but apparently he needed to use the cleaning supplies.
Squirt.
"That ought ta do the deed!" he said, before rubbing the spot hard into a dark submission as it disappeared from view. "That's better."
Cling, cling!
"Welcome to Kirizaki Consumers! They deny, we supply!" he said, looking up, as the woman walked in.
"Yes, is it possible for you to get me a shipment of soda and snacks? I need a large shipment for son's wedding party."
"Your wish is my command. I'll just need to know if you'll be paying in advance, or if you will pay afterwards. Also, I need to know exactly what you need."
"I need your assortment package. We have many different people coming, and I need drinks to satisfy them all. I'll pay ahead."
"How many ya need?"
"Approximately twenty large serving drinks and maybe 25 snack boxes?"
"Alright, that will come up to... $136.99"
"Here." the woman said, paying Hunter up front.
"It will arrive within the week."
"Thank you."

Takahashi Masaru, captain of the 6th Division, stood motionless against the window of the modest shop, his thick bare arms crossed over his chest and were riddled with various scars and burns, some more recent than others. He was wearing his gigai, and felt rather at home in his faux body in comparison to most Shinigami, having traveled to the Living World often in the past. He was on unofficial business... that's what he called it, though really he came to the store for his own personal gain. He was looking for someone. Though the reiatsu of the shop owner was skillfully masked, it did not escape the Captain's detection, and he stood waiting outside, his menacing appearance managing to frighten away most customers before they could even enter the shop. It was a talent of his... to ward off the faint of heart through appearances alone. He may have been considered handsome and almost childlike only a few years ago, but time had been hard on him... it was easier to see the scars than his face.
"Shinigami."
The single, crisp word hung heavily and he waited patiently for the shop owner to react, a small smirk spreading across his cracked lips.

"Yes, so I am. That does not mean you should try and scare away my customers. Please, unless you want to buy something, leave. You're scaring away my welcomed guests." Hunter said, looking up, as the woman had already left. "And what would you like, Captain? Well, at least it seems you are a Captain. Your reiatsu can't be hidden as well as you think it can."
Hunter, taking out a phone, began to dial up someone, before placing the phone to his ear. "Hey, I need a shipment. Big wedding party. Yea. Twenty assorted drinks. Twenty five assorted snack boxes. Yup. Big order. I need it within the week, so express delivery." He said, before hanging up.
"Now, your business here is? If you want to try and take me in or fight me or something, then you're out of luck. I'm not interested."

Masaru laughed in a rather dry, unenthusiastic manner. "How meritorious of you... I wonder if this is how you treat all of your intimidating customers." His smirk widened, and he straightened from his position against the window and entered the shop in a slow, reserved manner, like the way a shark moves through the water.
His piercing hazel eyes wandered about the store, their cold light absorbing not the various shelved items... it was as though he was drawn into himself, unseeing of his surroundings. Finally the brown pools rested once more on the shop owner, and he tilted his head slightly, "I do not come for a fight, believe me... we're all mature diplomats, are we not?" A playful, almost cruel glimmer entered his eyes; he clearly enjoyed the reaction his mannerisms caused in the shop owner, and it seemed as though he were toying with him only a moment longer before he set about his business.
His jaw clenched for a moment, his arms slowly dropping from his chest. "How often do people with soul power come here?" His voice was serious and calm, void of the cruelty and ambiguity it held before, "Surly some must recognize your reiatsu and come, am I correct?"

"One kid keeps coming every now and then, and he knows about me. He's actually a spirit boy, though, not living. Otherwise, it's quite rare for another Shinigami or Spiritual Being to enter this shop. Unlike the late Urahara, we don't normally supply anything special to such people. Unless you're hungry, I don't believe I have much of anything for you."
Hunter yawned. "Now, are you going to order anything? Your taunts have been recognized and cast aside. I don't much care for such things." he said, when a call suddenly rang on his phone as he picked up.
"Kirizaki Consumers, They deny, we supply! Hmm? Ahh! Yes, we can get you updated with the latest model. Yes. Mmhmm... okay. I'll see you tomorrow!" he talked into the phone before sighing. "I have to take all the calls, worry about all of the customers, everything. I have no employees yet, which is why I'm hiring."

A flash of disappointment broke his stoic visage for but a moment, and he sighed lightly, his gaze sinking downwards. Within seconds however, he regained his composure, though the disappointed light lingered in his once cold stare. He had thought... he was so sure that this, the little shop could be the answer to his problem... his...
"I realize you do not cater to Spiritual Beings specifically... I just thought..." His voice faded away, and Masaru shook himself, the same cruel smile resurfacing, though now it was forced, "Nevermind." He laughed the same dry laugh, and leaned against the counter for a moment, ignoring Hunter's prompting. His demeanor was so cool, untouched by the demands of others. The phone rang and Masaru looked up, his eyes tracing the contours of the ceiling as the shop owner repeated that silly phrase... 'they deny we supply...' Masaru laughed inside. It was very humorous to him that this shinigami would attempt to live the life of a normal human being, cheerful and untouched by all the shit in the world. He liked it too... it was something he could respect in an individual, to devote one's life to simplicity.
As the shop owner hung up, Masaru raised another question, "How about outside the shop..." His voice grew dark, though lost it's threatening essence "I'm looking for someone."

"I can help you find someone, for a price. As the store's slogan says, they deny, we supply. We offer a majority of services, and we are trying to get the permission to sell Shinigami supplies. Here's the deal, if you can get us a large shipment of Shinigami supplies, along with the ability to contact someone who supplies such things, I'll help you find whoever." he replied, looking up.
Hunter took out a paper, and began to write down something, before finishing it off with an official seal before stroking a line. "You must sign your name here, and vow on your captains position that you will meet my requirements. In turn, I will help you find whomever you need to find."

Masaru straightened again, his eyebrows arching in surprise. A hint of a smile played at the corners of his mouth, and he replied in a playful yet borderline sarcastic tone, "I thought you couldn't trust me." A comical, almost frightening grin flashed across his scarred face, "And now all of a sudden you want me to be your stock boy."
He watched in mild interest, the laughter still dancing in his eyes as Hunter created his little makeshift contract and pushed it towards him,
"You must sign your name here, and vow on your captains position that you will meet my requirements. In turn, I will help you find whomever you need to find."
Masaru folded his arms, His head titling to the side, "That's a pretty hefty vow there... So if i sign this thing... and fail to retrieve your goods, I lose my Captain's position?" He laughed, though not in an unkind way. A certain warmth glowed in his cool Hazel eyes, "Who knew you had the Authority!"
He stroked his chin thoughtfully, "What's your name?"

"Hunter Kirizaki, and I never said you'd lose your captains position through authority, what I meant was that you'll lose your captains position through death. Or, at least, I won't supply you with your friend, or whomever it is. Now, you want my help or not, stock boy?" he asked, mocking him at the end. Hunter commonly tried to make those people who posed a threat think him as weak by doing weird things. This was his way of gaining an advantage.
Hunter scratched his head, looking at the man, before receiving yet another call. "Yep? Sorry, we're out. I can get you a shipment, though. Alrighty. Seeya."

"Death, eh?" Masaru's mood was shifting as well and he continued to stroke his chin. "It's not all that bad... death..." his smile faded a little as he was reminded of... her that night... not so long ago, but he quickly pushed the memory aside and shoved his hands into his pockets, almost in a way to further the shop owner's aggravation by still refusing to sign the form. "I died once."
He threw his head back and laughed uproariously, causing a few remaining customers to look up in surprise, even horror. He was in one of those moods... one of those... wierd moods. The laughter stopped almost abruptly, and he glanced down at the form again, before reaching casually for a pen on the counter.
He realized that he had not yet introduced himself, and he nearly opened his mouth, but then closed it again, deciding against it, laughter dancing inside of him.
Masaru haphazardly scrawled his name rather illegibly across the parchment before dropping the pen to the counter with an audible clank.
The phone rang again and he listened quietly to the short conversation before asking in a rather teasing manner... almost the way a schoolboy would walk through a mudpuddle while his teacher watched him, very aware that his actions bothered her. "You didn't say it this time..."

"I don't say it every time. I'm not really expected to. I'll eventually hire somebody to take the calls, and I'll pay him to say it every time. But, right now, I have no employees. Anyway, who do you need me to find? Have a picture or a description?" he asked, looking up.

"How very sad..answering all your calls... and you do too have an employee, don't you?" Masaru put his hands on his hips, as though he were insulted, "Do not forget the stock boy."
He was enjoying hunter's company, and it was plain in his eyes. He liked him... he liked picking on him. Masaru had been a rather solitary person for a very long time, conversing only on a professional basis... after the... accident, he had forgotten how to enjoy life. All he knew was training and his own injured pride. There was nothing left but his own strength. Friendship and comradeship was forgotten, buried in the deepest of deep crevices of his heart.
As insignificant as there conversation was, Masaru found himself happy that he came, though he'd never admit it... not even to himself.
"Anyway, who do you need me to find? Have a picture or a description?"
Masaru's happy light dimmed, and he transformed once more into the impassive statue he had entered the shop as. "I will tell you his name, after my first delivery." His voice was flat, "Just know he is dangerous... and he knows me. You do not fool me, Kirizaki. I feel how strong you are, it radiates through my entire body... but do not make the mistake of thinking you can be careless around a madman." His eyes grew intense and his gaze met Hunter's with a frightening aura of seriousness, devoid of mockery or happiness, "If he feels that I came here, he may follow. He has long white hair, and biting reiatsu that penetrates your bones. That should be enough of a description to know who I mean should he come."

Hunter smiled. "Alrighty. Well, get yourself hopping. I'll be waiting for that shipment." he said, looking up with a smirk. "I believe I'll know from that description. Anyway, I need to call up some shipments, so I'll get to the task in about a day. I've been really busy lately, a lot of people are ordering shipments, meaning I'm going to get a great money boost."
Another call, picking it up, Hunter began another conversation, this time greeting with "Kirizaki Consumers, They deny, we supply!" unlike last time.

Masaru nodded slowly before turning and walking out of the shop, his hands thrust into his pockets. "I'm so close to you now, " Masaru whispered to himself, directed at a pretend version of his quarry, "There's only so long a bloodthirsty beast can lay in hiding."
A sad smile crossed his face, though no one saw it; his back was to the world. What if... his gaze traveled upwards, searching the heavens for an answer that he surely could not find, what if the monster within really WAS defeated?
