Kuro was out at a bar drinking sake with a few of his friends when he heard that a new Captain had been appointed for the 13th squad. Of course he got upset and had a slight hint of jeaolsy because he wanted the spot but it looked as if someone better had came along and took it. He had become both pissed and excited at the same time and decided to come to his division in order to meet his new captain. A million thoughts entered his head while he walked from the bar to his divisions headquarters about he knew captain. Was he strong enough to lead the 13th division? Was it even a he? Whats special about him that out spoke Kuro? All of theses questions he thought but he knew he couldnt have the heart to speak to his captain like that so most likely they would never get answered.
It wasnt long until he reached the headquartes and walked right in to find emptiness. Where was everyone? His whole division was missing and he prayed that they were not in front of the Commanding General because to be honest Kuro was a little bit Tipsy and he considered it to be disrespectful to go in front of higher authorities that way. He decided to just sit and wait it out and took a seat in front of his capttains room on the floor. He knew in time they would come back and his captain would need to go to her room when she did. He unstrapped his zanpakutou and laid it in front of him and said, "Let me know if anything happens Takai im taking a small nap so that I can hopefully come over this feeling."
It wasnt long before Kuro closed his eyes and faded off into his sleep. Constantly tossing and turning, this was why he had hated drinking before going to sleep it often made him a wild sleeper and sometimes gave him nightmares but still he slept and eventually the tossing and turning stopped as the drunkeness faded away. Now he lay there calm and peaceful waiting for the captain to show.
