Arrancar
Name: Mehmet Irriallen
Gender: Male
Age: 177(Cumulative, see history)
2143 (Hollow)
67 (Arrancar)
Ranking: Espada
Number: 7th
Base Type: Vasto Lorde
Physical Description: While there is nothing particularly scary about Mehmet, there is something about him that just gives off a wrong vibe. It’s an impression that there is something not quite right about how he looks. While every person has rather small unsymmetrical traits about their facial structure, Mehmet does not. His angular face is perfectly symmetrical, which can bother people, even if they do not realize that is what is bothering them. His cheek bones are high, but only slightly noticeable on his long face. His chin is average, no hair nor cleft adorning it. His mouth is always slightly open, his teeth are all somewhat pointed and a bright white, while his lips are almost colorless. His skin has an albino white hue to it.
Mehmet’s eyes are average in size for a Caucasian, but are a bit more angled, like an Egyptians eyes. His eyes are a sickly yellowish green. His left eye is paralyzed, and while he still has vision from it, it is frozen staring forward and its pupil is permanently in mydriasis, (the pupil is excessively dilated to the point there is very little color visible) as such, he keeps it closed in bright light, for it is very sensitive to light. The paralysis of his left eye does mean he has a fairly obvious blind spot, but at the same time he has trained quite a bit to compensate for it. Under both eyes are thin black lines that run parallel to the eye and then drop down and back, disappearing under his ears into his hair.
His hair extends to about the bottom of his shoulder blades, and can only be described as a thick tangled mess. It is over all grey in appearance, though it’s actually black and white hair all mix together, some patches look a little darker, and some a little lighter, but overall, especially from a distance, it is a medium shade of gray. His bangs frame his face, but this is purely just how it falls, it is quite clear a brush and his hair have never met.
His mask fragment takes the form of a segmented bone not unlike a flat spine, starting at the tip of his nose and going back behind his head, wear it spreads and becomes a segmented plate which ends at the base of his neck, pressing his hair down so that it is relatively flat and condensed were it comes out the bottom, though it almost immediately spreads out into its tangled mess again. His hollow hole is located just below his sternum, and is covered by his clothing, and his Espada tattoo is located on his left palm.
Mehmet stands 5’10; his body is lightly muscled, though one would not be able to tell at all through his clothing. He wears a very heavy black hoodless robe which is very close to touching the ground. 3 gold lines about half an inch thick spaced 4 inches apart travel diagonal downwards from the center of the robe, only to turn and go back up, reconnecting to each other on his back. His sleeves hang well over his hands, and have a gold ring near their edge. While he doesn’t were a shirt under his robe, he does ware black hakama, and on his feet simple black slip on shoes.
Personality Mehmet’s disposition is much more pleasant than appearance would suggest. He is a quiet man, but is not antisocial or introverted, quite the opposite, he likes being around people a lot, he just prefers not to be the one talking. The way he carries himself looks like he’s not entirely comfortable with his body, all of his movements are shaky and jerky. He is a bit hunched over, and looks like he’s struggling whenever he does straighten his back. He has some girlish mannerisms, sometimes standing with his hands on his hips, the way he looks at his hands; in general the way he uses his hands and arms. He occasionally twitches violently. While standing still, Mehmet almost always leans heavily on his Zanpakuto which he wraps his arms around like he is hugging it. Fittingly enough with the way he carries himself, Mehmet’s face is always in some stressed expression, due to the fact he is more often than not stressed.
Mehmet suffers from a bit of an identity crisis. He has three sets of memories and in each set he acted differently than he does now. Furthermore the memories all are from different times and the times overlap. He struggles a lot with trying to wrap his head around the fact that he is technically all three of the people he remembers being at the same time, and is jealous of Arrancar and Hollow who know who they are and their past, though he does not usually show this jealousy; most of the time he tries to keep his mind as far away from the issue at all times, which is why he likes being around people, it lets him focus on what they are saying and doing.
Mehmet gets along well with most personality types. He lets people pretty much say and do what they want, and he will merely listen and go along if he feels like it. Those he considers friends are those that get to know him, and are not overly battle hungry or sadistic. He is very open with friends, and will generally seek one out if he finds himself stuck thinking about his identity; he does this primarily to distract himself, the only person he is truly open to about his identity issues is his fraccion, whom he treats like a cherished ally than a servant, slave, or minion. He is very much into music, liking softer music, folk and classical. Folk rock is about the heaviest he can listen to without getting something of a headache. He also has a bit of an obsession with feeling textures with his hands, he will usually run his hand along the nearest wall as he walks by or moving it back and forth on the nearest surface if he’s idly sitting or standing.
Mehmet is very intelligent, able to solve most any problem or come up with complex battle plans given enough time. That is the key though, he needs time to think most anything out, and he envies those who can come up with just as good plans or solutions as he can only much faster. He enjoys reading nonfiction books about history and biology; he enjoys plants a lot, and the Forest of Menos with its quartz trees is his favorite place in Hueco Mundo. He spends a lot of his time there with his fraccion, merely watching other hollows, or helping guide hollows who wish it along the path to arrancar-ism. When he is not in the Forest, he is either in Las Noches or in the living world hunting shinigami, something both he and his fraccion relish.
While he is not good at realistic painting, Mehmet is very good at the flat style of Eastern Orthodox icons. His room is about a quarter painted full of various scenes from his lives he remembers, and undoubtedly will continue to be painted in till every inch is covered, at which point he will simply move on to another room and continue. While he does not like trying to comprehend he is the three different people he depicts at the same time; painting helps him calm down when he occasionally can’t help but dwell on and try to comprehend that fact. Since he has to be in a certain mood to paint, his progress on painting the entirety of his room is incredibly slow.
Hollows are dear to him, and amongst them, gillians are the most dear to him. He identifies with their identity issues (well in a sense, gillians who don’t have a dominant personality are a bit mindless).
He abhors shinigami, for he hates their arrogance in assuming hollows need to be purified. Hollows are naturally created from souls that do not move on to Soul Society, a Zanpakuto purifying them is the Shinigami changing that souls natural path through the afterlife. Quincy he respects more than shinigami, for they do not have the dogma of the shinigami, they are merely protecting their own race from the predators, though this respect does not mean he will hesitate to kill them. As long as the Vizards stay neutral in the affairs of Las Noches, Mehmet feels nothing towards them. Humans he views as weak, simply lower creatures on the food chain than hollows, and as such their lives do not have much value, though he does not believe in slaughtering them for no reason, that is very wasteful after all.
Mehmet has some aspirations to advancing his position within the working of Las Noches. Not one for hurting allies, he would almost never challenge someone for their current seat in the Espada, but if an opening opened up above him, he would be the first to try to advance his position. He has no aspirations to be Primera Espada however, too many expectations of the position, and he does not think of himself as mentally fit for the position. The Espada deserve a leader both strong in power and mind, and Mehmet does not really consider himself either. He is somewhat frustrated that do to the situation of his mask removal he only currently has the strength of an Adjuchas class Arrancar. He is fiercely loyal to the Horror Vacui, feeling that they will be able to advance the hollows to a much higher status in the universe than they currently are.
In battle, Mehmet’s opponent determines his attitude. If it’s a simple sparring match, he seems to enjoy himself, and can end up getting rather playful. If the person he is sparring with is serious however, he will not enjoy the match nearly as much. If a hollow or arrancar is seriously trying to kill him, he will stay mostly on the defensive, trying hard to convince them to give up and go away; he almost never kills a hollow foe. Against shinigami however, he does everything he can to crush their hope, and then kill them. Even against shinigami he is cautious however, and will retreat if he knows he is beat, or suspects he would suffer grievous injuries if fighting continued. This is because Mehmet has a somewhat substantial fear of death. This stems from the fact he has memories of dying three different times, and he is not sure what would happen to him as he knows himself should he die.

Additional Info:
General: Mehmet’s Zanpakuto is not a katana like most Zanpakutos, instead it takes the form of a 9 foot Naginata (a 3 foot katana blade that widens slightly near it’s tip and is a bit more curved, on a 6 foot shaft). Its blade is standard looking steel, while the shaft looks like it is made out of jade. The guard between the shaft and blade are 8 thin blades of steel, two coming out parallel from each side, but they take 90 degree turns in opposite directions, coming close to touching the edges of the other blades from the other sides, thus creating a square.
