I understand that the bounts were a filler arc but people really respond and like them. I think they should be included in this RP because even though they were a filler and technically not real that they were such a big part of the series anyway. I have talkd to two people that like Bounto more than any other race. One person didn't join because of that. I think that they should have their own organization also, it's just opening up more ideas and giving people more choices in the RP.

I personally dont have anything against adding bounts, because they are a rather interesting race, atleast their dolls allow for a lot more free-thinking than the other races special abilities. Although an entire new organization for them seems unecessary, I think they should simply be called a minor faction.

I already gave my thoughts on this subject but since everyone is banding together I will join in as well. Yes I also believe the Bount would be a good addition, they may have been filler but it was by far the best filler arc in an anime ever. To boost this fact as Kenshi said I also had someone who I had invited to the site that decided not to due to the lack of their favorite species the Bount. While not the biggest fan I still like them and believe their Dolls to actually be a better parallel to the Shinigamis Zanpaktou than the Arrancar.
I know its your choice and you might have a reason story wise for not including them, however if you only did it because they were filler I think you should reevaluate your decision because they could help bring in more members and offer more choices that are not so directly related to the Shinigami-Hollow conflict.

If they were a minor faction then how would they have the capability of wreaking havoc in SS? The Bount are a strong race, their organization would be a big threat to Soul Society like the Vaizard are to Hueco Mundo.

I will discuss this with harmony when I get a hold of her, we did discuss Bount's and had decided they weren't necessary, if there is a lot of demand perhaps we will re-asess the situation. Thanks guys for bringing it to our attention.

I was wondering this too. I mean, they're like summoners. Everyone likes summoners. And they were explained to be the explanation of what the humans came to be known as vampires. Everyone likes vampires.
If you need to get rid of a race, get rid of Mod Souls. They're humans that come in pill form. Lame.
However, if Bounts should get their own group, that is something I'm unsure of. But, then again, I don't see them working with humans in which they eat. >>

*Nods* I agree with bringing in Bounts.
Honestly I think the Bount, Mod Souls, and Quincy should be the Alliance >.> They're all hunted down and hated by Soul Society, they'd probably get along lol Plus, it'd make more sense.
However, due to the fact that that'd leave Humans out, it probably wouldn't be done lol
So...maybe have the Bount with the Vizards or Arrancar/Hollows? Vizard would be more likely, yeah, but never rule it out lol As said for above, both are hated and hunted down, and the enemy of my enemy is my friend lol
Anyways, point being, Bount = good lol

The way the show explained it Bount are VERY solitary. That Kariya brought the ones in the anime together under one banner was made to sound as if it was an incredible achievement that does not occur with normal Bount. This of course did not apply in their early years when the hung together for safety but now it seems most average Bount are as scared of each other as they are of others due to their troubled past and actually stay apart for the same reason they stayed together in the beginning. Thus if they are made a race I believe they should be required to be “Solo” at first and then if enough are made they might be able to form an Alliance within the RP itself at a key story point.

This isn't Canon though.
I mean, think about it. This is an Alternate Universe. If we wanted, we could have the Mod Souls be loved by Shinigami and used all the time.
I'm not saying we should have something THAT major, but I don't think it'd be a good idea for them to be seperated and everything.
Though I guess that would be up to each individual, considering the "Rogue" portion of the character list.

Indeed it is not canon but to change it so they got along with another group would effectively change the very fabric of a Bount. Even assuming they themselves could get along with others would anyone else be willing to accept that they sucked soul energy, effectively killing people forever from the stream of souls that go in circles between either the real world and Hueco Mundo or the real world and Soul Society? That’s without considering that by all accounts the power levels the Bount had in the show were impossible to reach without consuming living human souls, there are groups like the Arrancar that might not have a problem with the methods but would provide other issues.
Just for the sake of covering all our bases lets consider the possible teams. The Arrancar and Shinigami are already out, the Arrancar are more or less loners who only want to better themselves and like they do the Quincy who delete souls the Shinigami would disapprove of the Bount methods. The Vizard are a possible ally but like the Arrancar they strike me as self important and not caring about others, using them as pawns is a different story but every Bount we saw seemed to have an abnormal intelligence compared to the other species, there was not a single ditzy Bount and so I doubt they as a whole would fall for that…but that’s a argument for a different day. The humans and the rest of the Brotherhood provide the most likely companions but as mentioned above to gain significant power Bount have to suck living human souls, a process none of the Brotherhood are going to accept.
So in the end it seems the Bounts best friends are the Bount themselves, but in that case my point from above still stands. But lets wait and see what Harmony and Gahrok decide before continuing.

I've already come up with a template, that is if you choose to use it. It does cover all of the basis ... just let me know ...

Allow me to point out that fusing with your Doll should definitely be something that is allowed.

Yes but also keep in mind that fusing with ones doll effectively makes them as strong as or stronger than a captain. It is effectively their rendition of Bankai and just like the rest should be handed out with a formal strictness to how many and what their uses can be. I know you probably knew this but it bears mentioning since you said nothing about a limit to such fusions.
