General Info
Name:
Hakuyen Kisamana (Kisa)
[Surname, Given Name (Preferred Name)]
Gender:
Female
Age:
371
[Appears to be 21]
Ranking:
Council Member - Three
Physical Description:
Kisa stands a nice 5’7” and weighs 127lbs. She wears large, black, baggy sweat pants simply for the comfort of it. She also wears a white, no sleeved shirt that exposes her stomach. Her eyes are bright red and her hair is white, with a slight purple tint. She has white markings (similar to those of stripes) on various parts of her body (as indicated in the above pic). Also, there are bandages wrapped around the palm of her left hand and extends until just past her biceps, the same goes for her right leg, except those bandages barely reach her knee. Instead of the usual running shoes or sandals, Kisa wears wool boots.
Personality
Kisa is a loudmouthed and hotheaded individual. She never gives up on an argument until she has managed to sway the other person, or at least forced them into submission. Within moments of meeting Kisa one can easily determine that she is very stubborn and demanding. If it’s not done her way, then it is done wrong. However, her most distinguishing feature is that she is one of the most arrogant and conceited beings to walk the Earth. She thinks very highly of her self, and thus, likes to be called Kisa-sama. Though she is quite skilled, she thinks that no one can match her abilities, her intelligence, or even her charming personality. This woman is incredibly impatient. The word ‘wait’ will cause her to explode with rage. She is short-tempered and when angered, there are only a handful of people who are capable of calming her down.
Like a child, Kisa’s actions are determined by curiosity. If not curiosity, then the action in question must seem appealing in someway. Though she doesn’t throw temper tantrums she is never pleased when she doesn’t get her way. In stead of throwing things and screaming, she will act grumpy and moody to show that she is highly displeased.
Kisa has a strange attraction to watching any body of water (be it a pond, stream, ocean, etc.), which causes her to blank out if given the opportunity. Kisa possess an extreme amount of hatred towards Hollows, though she isn’t particularly kind to humans either. As for Shinigami, she looks down upon them as weak and insignificant creatures. The same goes for Quincy and Bounts. Kisa also hates anyone stronger than her. This hatred forces her to push her self beyond her limits to decrease the number of people who are more powerful than her. She loves food to the point it becomes an obsession. Food and alcohol are her favorite things in the world. These are things she will protect with her life… though it rarely comes to that.
Kisa’s relationship with her Zanpakuto could be compared to that of a mother and her daughter. Her Zanpakuto used to be over protective of her, but now, she allows Kisa her space and rarely intervenes with her conflicts. Her relationship with her Inner Hollow is quite different though. At one point in time, her Hollow wouldn’t cease with all her insults, complaints, and boasts of having greater power. It infuriated Kisa to the point she named her hollow ‘Mesuinu’. This name angered the Hollow into showing up more and more just to annoy the arrogant woman. This action then caused Kisa to use that name more often, creating a vicious cycle that drove the two to the brink of insanity. However, as her control over her Inner Hollow increased, she showed up less and less. Now, the two almost never speak to one another. This means, she is rarely bothered by the incredibly aggravating Hollow.
History:
The Wonders of Life
Kisamana was born seven seconds after her older sister. The two twins were fraternal. Though they didn’t look like each other, they both thought and acted the same way. After them, another girl was born, followed by a boy. There parents had four children in total, but only Kisa and her barely older sister were capable of seeing spirits. When Kisa was in elementary school, her mother had come to pick her and her sister up from school. They had a doctor’s appointment so they got to leave early. The two had been bickering all day over some event that had happened at the school. It was late at night when they finally left the office. They were on a bridge, taking a short cut home when the two girls decided to settle their dispute physically. Before their mother had a chance to turn around to see what her children were doing, they were both plummeting down to the river. A loud shriek echoed through the night sky as they’re mother looked on in horror. Then, as if two girls falling into a river without knowing how to swim wasn’t bad enough, a monster showed up. It was chasing some grown man in a business suit.
Kisa was struggling to keep her head above water as the man was swallowed up by the beast. Then, the monstrous creature turned his sights towards Kisa. She had no way of defending herself. She was shocked, terrified, cold, and swallowing water by the gallons. Kisa’s sister never even crossed her mind at the time. She was too busy focusing on keeping her head above the water and praying that the creature didn’t attack her, and if he did, that someone would step in and help her. Then, as if her prayers were answered, some older girl jumped into the river and scooped her up before the creature could get its hands on her. The girl seemed to be no older than a middle school child. Regardless, she was thankful for her help. Kisa had been placed on the grassy fields, lying on her back as she began coughing out the water she had swallowed. She then fought her way to a seated position in time to see some man, seemingly in his thirties, slice the creature in half with a single swing. Then, the creature disappeared into thin air. What kind of magical, futuristic, sci-fi movie had she gotten herself into? That’s when it dawned on her. Her sister was still in the river!
Kisa looked over the river’s surface frantically trying to find any trace of her sister’s existence. Then, she saw her. She was standing on the other side of the river. However, she seemed translucent, kind of like those so-called ‘ghosts’ they’d both been seeing for the last couple years. Could it be? No. Not only was she in permanent denial over the existence of ghosts, but she refused to believe that her sister could have died so easily. Sadly, that was the truth, and it would take her, her mother, her baby sister, and her unborn brother some time to get over this sad fact. From that day on, Kisa had been following the older girl, trying to imitate her movements and her personality.
Masked Feelings
Kisamana had developed the ability to bury away any serious emotions. This allowed her to never think of her deceased sister, or her father and baby brother that had died in a car accident nearly two years after her sister had drowned. However, when she watched her little brother’s soul roaming about, and suddenly being devoured by a Hollow, it was the last straw. She clenched her fists and went in to fight the creature with her bare hands. She had become a brawler.
Ever since that day that middle school girl got her out of the water within moments, she had been tagging along after her, picking up her love for fighting along with her cocky attitude. She looked at the girl as an older sister and copied everything she did. However, the girl was infamous amongst her middle school teachers and when she graduated to high school; it was Kisa’s turn to go to middle school. It was also public knowledge that a girl named Hakuyen Kisamana was always following the violent and brash girl. When she met her first middle school teacher, it most certainly was not a pleasure. She was being yelled at and demeaned by a woman whom she just met. Now wasn’t that some ol’ bullshit? Kisa was beginning to build a great deal of resentment towards her teachers and ended up satisfying them by acting accordingly to what they had assumed to begin with. This caused her to get into several fights a day and suspended constantly.
Despite this, it was not wise for her to try her luck against the Hollow that stood before her that day. Regardless, Kisa ran at the creature full blast and jumped into the air as she got closer. The Hollow raised his arm and just as he was about to swat the woman clean out of the air, his arm was cut off. It then let out a cry that only a Hollow could as his arm hit the floor with a thud. Kisa shrugged, deciding it was better not to ask questions and continued with her simpleminded attack. The miniscule punch she landed filled her with pride, though it would be short-lived. The second arm came up, grabbed the girl and pushed her up against the wall, then, the same man from before had appeared, standing on the remaining arm that was used to pin the girl against the concrete wall of the building. This was the very man she had seen a few years back. And… was he wearing the same outfit as well? He was! He was actually wearing the same thing he was the last time they had met. Did he own no other pair of clothes? Did he think no one would notice if he put on some weird white [Captain’s] jacket over it? Kisa quickly whipped these thoughts from her mind and watched as the man destroyed the beast with even less trouble than he had last time. Then, without so much as acknowledging Kisa’s presence, he disappeared.
Grown and Sexy
Kisa went through middle school, high school, and university ignoring the spirits and avoiding those scary-looking creatures that she’d come to find were called ‘Hollow’.
Kisamana eventually met a man she’d want to spend the rest of her life with, while she was twenty-one, going on twenty-two. He was a handsome businessman and she was a student, preparing to become a school teacher. She met the man while doing groceries. It was a chance meeting that’d lead to something much more. They began discussing things and soon found that they had a lot in common. The shy businessman sucked it up and asked the beautiful woman out. Needless to say, she accepted. The two dated for more than two years and Kisa became a full-fledged school teacher before a proposal was made. Kisa accepted without hesitation and was married soon after. They lived in a small house in Karakura Town. A year later, Kisamana became pregnant. However, while she was in the fifth month of pregnancy, her husband fell ill. He then died two months later, leaving the woman heartbroken and still expecting. She would continue with her pregnancy and had a baby girl at the age of twenty-four. Kisa named her child Tenhari, after the girl whom she looked up to all those years ago.
Kisa was now nearing her thirties – twenty-seven to be exact – but due to her apparent baby face she looked no older than twenty-one. The only time Kisa had ever complained about this was when she was eighteen and wanted to go to see a rated R movie and was denied entrance because she did not look her age and didn’t have an ID. Who the hell carries an ID to a movie theater? Kisa was now a high-school math teacher, and hated her job with a passion. Those damned teenagers were always sleeping in her class, if not, then they didn’t show up at all. What a pain in the ass...
Death comes too early, doesn't it?
One of Kisa’s student’s was having some trouble. He was one of the brightest, no, the only bright student in her class, so it was obvious that his troubles were nothing school related. He was getting his getting into fights on a regular basis, and got his ass kicked every time. Kisa took pity on the boy, so she decided that she’d help him get stronger. After all, she still manages to get into her fair share of skirmishes. Why, who knows, it’s Kisamana.
After about two months of training, she had turned the boy into a man. He was now capable of defending himself against any moron who had the audacity to pick a bone with him.
Kisa enjoyed the park. It was peaceful. There were children playing around happily, a comfortable bench to sit on, and a cool breeze. Kisa was slowly nodding off until she heard a voice call her, addressing her as that their sensei. She opened her eyes and turned to the source of her displeasure. She was quite peaceful, who was this boy to disturb her? She glared at the boy, expecting him to explain himself without being asked to. Her eyes widened. The poor kid’s older brother had died less than a month ago. And then he had to witness his brother being eaten by some gruesome creature. Her eyelids narrowed. She was all too familiar with the feeling he now had. That’s when they both heard a noise. It was the same noise a Hollow makes. Then, the boy actually dashed off towards the sound. Did he actually think that he could avenge his brother? Was that really what he was thinking? This was not good. If Kisa didn’t do something, her student was going to die a horrible death. She quickly hopped out of her seat and took off after the boy. She ran across the street recklessly. Her main goal and the only thing she was focused on, was catching up to the child. Why did she have to train him? Now he was unusually fast. Because of this, she was run over and killed instantly by a sports car. Not noticing the death of his teacher, the boy kept running towards the sound of the Hollow. The woman stood up, rubbing her head. She looked over to see a crowd huddled around some woman, and a man stepping out of his car, terrified. Then everything snapped into place, that woman there… was her! How could she be in two different places at once? This was simply not possible. On top of that, there was a chain on her chest. What the hell was going on? No. There was no time to think about all that. Her student was still heading towards his doom.
Kisa sped off in the direction she had seen the boy go. She reached him in time to see his lifeless body mutilated and his soul being gobbled up as if it were an afternoon snack. Kisa was thrown into a pit of rage. She took off towards the creature, planning on doing her best to kill it. Unfortunately, someone had beaten her to the punch. As she got close to the creature, it disappeared and there was a man standing behind it in a position indicating that he had just used his average looking katana to slice apart the beast. Then, before she could even make a comment, she was poked in the head with the hilt of his katana. A blue circle appeared below her and she was slowly being dragged into it like quicksand. All she could do was cry out ‘What the Hell?!’ repeatedly until she was completely taken out of the real world.
WTF is a Soul Society?
Kisamana woke up in the middle of a village. She was baffled. What on earth just happened to her, and where was she? This was not normal. Did shit like this happen everyday? Was she dead? Where was she now? Not long after the thought entered her mind for the second time, was it answered. A young boy, no older than nine came up to her and explained that she was in a place called the Soul Society and he told her which district she was in as well. Then he proceeded to tell her that he had been there since the 1500s. Kisa’s jaw dropped and hung there for a good long moment. Do they not age in this place? She was about twenty-seven. Was she going to remain that age for the rest of her existence? This place was very strange indeed. Still, she was probably going to be here for quite some time, she might as well mingle.
Mingling brought face to face with a crazy, battle-starved man who had arrived there very day as well. Apparently he had pissed off over fifteen people, thus his reason for being in Soul Society. Now, he fought Kisa. The fight would last for hours on end. Kisa and this new man ended up being very exhausted. They had put everything they had into it and now they had nothing left. Worst of all, they both stood, equally as tired, and equally as battered. There was no winner and no loser. She accepted the man as her new companion. For the next several years, the two ran around Soul Society, picking fights for the hell of it.
Then, they came up against a man who spoke as her were the almighty lord of doom and destruction. The two couldn’t help but snicker at him. It didn’t seem to bother him though, but he did ask that they give him a chance to prove his supposed almightiness. Snickering again, the two gave him his chance. All three drew their respective katana. Then, within moments, Kisa and her the man that had become her best friend were wallowing in a pool of their own blood. Kisa’s friend, Haiyame Ikuto, vowed vengeance for their humiliating defeat. Finally getting his chance to snicker, he told them the only way they’d have a shred of chance at defeating him was if they became highly skilled Shinigami. So… that’s what they did. They ran off to join the Academy so that they may become the powerful Shinigami they wanted to be so they could forcibly take back the pride that bastard had stolen from them.
Come one, come all! Polish your skills here, in the Academy
Kisamana’s time spent in the Academy was certainly not a boring experience. Her and her friend, Ikuto remained as competitive as they always were. Then, a new kid popped up acting just as hotheaded as Ikuto and Kisa were. The three of them quickly became the best of friends. Then, they were all sent the real world. They were instructed to kill a couple of Hollow. Luckily, a Vice-Captain was sent on the mission as well, though he served as an escort and would only intervene if death became imminent. Kisa’s arm was drenched in blood, her reiatsu was low, and she was running out of tricks to pull out of her sleeve. Thankfully, Ikuto was there to save the day. Kisa doing the best she could to serve as the first distraction and the other kid being the second, Ikuto came in from the sky and cleaved the Hollow in half. Then, they defeated the next Hollow with little to no complications.
Kisa was then struck from behind. A new Hollow had appeared in the real world and attacked before anything could be done. Suffering from massive blood loss, Kisa dropped to the floor. She remained fully aware of what was happening around her, but her body was incapable of moving. Then, Ikuto was killed by another Hollow. After that, a third one appeared, howling that all too familiar Hollow cry. The Vice-Captain immediately stepped in. However, the Hollow weren’t as weak as he originally thought. He managed to kill all three of them, but Ikuto was dead, and he had lost his right arm. The team fled back to the sanctity of the Soul Society. Kisa was soon healed, but the hatred of Hollow that she had within her since the day her brother had been devoured by one intensely magnified.
Finally... graduation...
Kisamana finally graduated in the middle from the Academy at the top of her class. She was then placed into the tenth squad. Within months, she managed to reach the fifth seat and was situated in Karakura Town. It was her assignment to rid the city of any and all Hollow. With her was sixth, fourth, and third seated Shinigami. Within moments of entering Karakura Town, they came across their first Hollow. Since it was only one, Kisa demanded the opportunity to defeat it on her own. The highest ranking Shinigami (obviously the leader) allowed her to take on the Hollow. It didn’t take the woman long to destroy the Hollow. Though she had first obtained her love of fighting by following that older girl around, her disgust towards Hollow fueled this love even more. She went into more dangerous battles, and her skills drastically improved. Several years had passed since she was first placed into the tenth squad before she proved herself to be Vice-Captain material.
I iz a Captain?
There was word that hordes of Hollow were attacking Tokyo all at one time. They decided to send in the Captain, Vice-Captain, third seat, and fourth seat of the tenth squad to deal with the vast amount of Hollow in the city. Kisamana, being the Vice-Captain, was more than eager to destroy such a large amount of Hollow at once. This was like a dream come true. She loathed the Hollow down to the core of her heart. She slaughtered the beasts with no mercy. Then, one turned out to be the cream of the crop. He managed to go toe-to-toe with their Captain. Not only that, but he managed to kill their Captain as well. And then he actually complained about not getting the chance to eat him. Kisa was furious.
Several months prior, she had been sparring with another Captain and was easily defeated by her Bankai. This gave her the resolve and determination to learn Bankai herself. She found, no, created a secluded area to get in some precious personal training in. Though it was an incredibly difficult feat, she managed to achieve it but a few days before she was sent to Tokyo with her squad.
Kisa now stood before the powerful Hollow that somehow gained the strength to now only face of with, but kill a Captain. On top of that, he acted disappointed about not getting to eat his soul. He acted as though he did things like this all the time. Kisa was certainly not going to take the monster lightly. She activated her Bankai and fought the creature. The Hollow had already been weakened by her Captain, which made her victory possible. She had managed to defeat the grotesque Hollow and her comrades disposed of the lesser Hollows.
Upon returning, there was a military funeral held for the fallen Captain of the Squad Ten. Then, Kisa was requested to take the position. Graciously accepting, she took a temporary leave to settle an old score. She walked back to her old district. For a couple days, she was reminiscing with old friends before the man she had been seeking out finally arrived. She had done what he instructed. She became a powerful Shinigami and was here to take back her pride, and take some back for the late Ikuto. The battle was just as short as it had been last time. The only difference was that this time, it was him who was cut down to size.
Ah... the life of a Vizard is a good one
Kisamana had been suffering through terrible nightmares from many years. The very first one was the night she had returned from the mission she was sent on while she was still in the academy, the one that got her best friend killed. Yes, though she always had an unusual amount of hatred towards the Hollow, that was the day that mass amount of hate nearly tripled. It was also the night were she began having nightmares about Hollow. In her nightmares, she was always being attack by a mass amount Hollow at once. This only added fuel to the flames. As Kisa grew stronger, the amount of Hollows reduced, but the remaining Hollow were even more powerful to make up for their lost companions. This continued to progress until there was only one Hollow left. However, the last Hollow slightly a long haired, brunette woman with a similar figure to Kisa. Regardless, the fact that it showed any human-like traits freaked her out. Years had passed. Slowly, she was changing. She was becoming more cruel, more bloodthirsty, and less like the Kisa she used to be. Fortunately, the only one who noticed (her loyal Vice-Captain) stayed silent about this fact. She was slowly losing her mind to the Hollow. Then it dawned on her, if this was not a figment of her imagination, then she should be able to manifest it just as she could do with her Zanpakuto, Tashi. However, manifesting her Hollow self might not be the wisest of decisions. So she did the next best thing. She entered her own subconscious.
To her surprise, her wildest hunch was actually true. There really was a Hollow dwelling within the depths of her soul. This could not continue. Slowly but surely, he was taking over. No. She had to squish the bug while it was still young. The problem was it was just as powerful as she was. Every single trick she developed or was taught, this fool learned it as well. Talk about freeloading. Kisa engaged the Hollow in a battle. Blows along with witty banter were exchanged. It was a grueling fight, but finally, Kisa re-earned the right to be in full control over her body. Over time, her control over her Inner Hollow increased. As this happened, she started acting like her normal self. However, she had been given a taste of true power. As much as she tried, she couldn't rid herself of the feeling that was bubbling within her.
The taste of interminable power was so delicious; she wanted to gain as much as she could. In turn, she eventually deemed Soul Society too weak. She had gained as much power as she could in that place, if she wanted more, she’d have to leave. So that was exactly what she did. Then, she was confronted by a person who had the same abilities as her. This intrigued the woman. She had misguidedly assumed that she was the only one to attain such power. She was recruited and quickly asserted herself to a position of power. Even now, her quest to better herself has not ended. Folks, for all we now… it never will…
Additional Info:
Kisa never gave up her maiden name. Kisa owns a small convenience store and has two other kids working there. Under the convenience store is a rather... large basement. This 'basement' acts as a training ground and – by some technological breakthrough (or maybe a miracle >.>) – there seems to be a sky were a dull looking sealing should be. Also, there are mountains and it appears to be constant daylight. She also acts as a supply teacher, though that is a rare occurrence.
Kisamana does not live within The Masked Syndicate's Headquarters. Though she does pop in from time to time, her place of residence is in a nice, three bedroom house in Karakura Town.
Zanpakuto
General
Name:
Tashi
Spirit Description:
Tashi is the embodiment of a wise old woman. She acts as a mother figure towards the brash woman. Though she rarely speaks, when she does, her voice is calm and soothing. Tashi is always speaking as though she is an all-knowing omnipotent being, which pisses the hell out of the woman. Kisa never enjoyed the random life lessons she occasionally tries to teach her either. However, despite all this, Tashi continues to treat Kisa as though she were her own daughter.
Sealed:
It is the same size as the average katana. The blade is white and the hilt is wrapped in a golden ribbon. When not in use, this Zanpakuto remains inside a black sheath that is strapped to her back.
Shikai
Activation Phrase:
Tashi, let loose and howl.
Appearance:
Abilities:
White Water
[Shiromizu]
This ability allows Kisa to create as white water that slightly resembles milk, except that it's transparent. The water has a decent amount of force behind it. When Kisa slashes her blade, the white water comes out in a crescent shape and is incredibly sharp, allowing it to cleave through objects. It is only slightly stronger than her ‘Abolishing Flames’ Kido and she can only toss out about ten of these.
Bankai
Activation Phrase:
Ban... Kai!
Appearance:
Kisa's outfit changes into this.
The shape and color of Kisa's Zanpakuto changes into one of these.
Abilities:
Water Dragon
[Gogyou Doragon]
i120.photobucket.com/albums/o170/Buruen/Silverstorm_by_ShadowUmbre.jpg
This ability creates a large dragon made entirely of white water to burst out from the tip of the blade. Kisa has full control over the dragon’s movements. As it rushes through an object, the sheer intensity of the water and the reiatsu imbedded in it can shred an opponent to pieces.
Ultimate Blizzard
[Kanburiza]
This is Kisa’s most powerful ability. It drains a great deal of reiatsu and should only be used a few times in battle. By sticking out one or both her hands, an onslaught of snow and ice will come blasting out. This will create a blizzard with enough destructive capabilities to obliterate whatever it comes into contact with. If this ability is used with only one hand it is slightly stronger than Cero, and two hands double the power. Because of the amount of reiatsu this attack drains, it should only be done once, that is, if she uses both hands. If only one hand is used, she can do it twice. Also, should her Hallow mask be materialized the amount of times she could use this attack is doubled. If a person of equal skill were to take this attack head on without any defenses, it'll cause extensive damage and severe cuts all over.
Inner Hollow
Appearance:
Before Kisa gained any form of control over her Inner Hollow, the Hollow was always pestering her. As much as she tried to ignore the Hollow, she eventually gave in and decided to give it a name. She refused to show it any form of respect by asking if it already had one. Oh no, she simply chose to call it what she wanted. Kisa was pleased with the name Mesuinu (Mesu for short) for the simple fact that it meant ‘bitch’. Mesu was as arrogant as any Hollow could get. She was also sick and twisted. She was never satisfied with just fighting. No. Though it did please her to some extent, she preferred torturing her people. She was a sadist if ever Kisa saw one. She loved the look of hopelessness and despair on the faces of anyone she would meet. Mesu was truly a maniacal creature.
Level Of Control:
2
Hollow Abilites:
Perfect Water Shield
[Junsei Hitoku]
This ability creates white water to appear wherever Kisa desires it too. The power of this shield can differ from situation to situation. Since it’s abilities are judged by how much reiatsu is channeled into it, depending on the situation, Kisa will estimate how powerful to make her shield without wasting unnecessary reiatsu. The most this shield is capable of defending aginst is two cero blasts, then it will shatter.
Water Blast
[Mizu Bakuha]
Simple enough, this ability allows Kisa to pelt her enemy with small pellets of white water. These pellets are weaker than a Cero blast, but are twenty times as fast.
Cero
High-powered energy blasts that can be fired from various body parts, such as mouth, tongue, hand or fingers
Garganta
It literally tears open the dimensional fabric separating the worlds, revealing a tunnel of whirling, torrential energy that must be focused and solidified to create a discernible pathway
Pesquisa
The ability to sense and track spiritual power
Shinigami Techniques
Part Two Great Seal
This spell covers a target from head to toe with spiritual fabric (first song), stabs them with numerous metal blades (second song), and then smashes them with an immense metal cube (final song

Thrust
Pushes target away from the caster
White Lightning
Fires a concentrated bolt of from the caster's finger
Abolishing Flames

Shunpo / Flash Step
A movement ability that allows the user to move faster than the eye can follow.

The sounds of snoring filled the room. Kisamana had accepted the request to fill in for a teacher who was stuck in a hospital due to a fight that got severely out of hand. What a grown, non-vaizard woman was doing in a serious fight is beyond me. However, Kisa was glad to be teaching once again. It really had been a long time since she last accepted a request to fill in for a teacher. Kisa was more than happy to do it. She left her small shop in the more than capable hands of her two workers. However, she finally remembered why she hadn’t returned to teaching for such a long time. These students were all deadweights. They all had their heads tucked under their arms and they were fast asleep. Kisa was standing in front of the blackboard, trying to explain to them the lesson that their teacher had planned out for them that day. Out of over twenty students only three were actually awake, and one of those three was nodding off. Kisa rolled her eyes. This was going to be a long day.
A loud boom rang in her ears, along with the sound of a Hollow calling out. She immediately jerked her head in the direction of the sound, as did one of the two remaining students whose attention she managed to keep. She then popped a green pill into mouth and, leaving her body behind, she dashed out the door. Zooming down the hall and down the stairs, she was outside within a matter of moments. She looked on as the Hollow held the soul of a little girl upside down, over his mouth. Just as he let go, the girl disappeared from his sight. The beast looked about frantically. Then it would become obvious to him what had happened. Using ‘Shunpo’, Kisa managed to grab the girl in mid air, and then move to the top of the building, setting the poor girl down. The monster stared at Kisa with anger burning in his eyes. Kisa smirked at the thought of a petty Hollow assuming that he was capable of giving her such a look without losing a limb or two.
“Didn’t your mother ever tell you not to play with your food?”
Kisa spoke with supreme cockiness. As the Hollow let out that spine tingling cry, it was destroyed. Kisa stood a couple feet behind were the creature once stood with her Zanpakuto being sheathed. Then, a voice was heard. Kisa turned to were she had left the little girl and were the voice was coming from. She stared at the man rolling her eyes. She watched as he performed the Soul Burial on the child and then set his sights on Kisa. He acted as if he knew the woman, or at least knew of her. An exchange of comments was made before he attacked her. She couldn’t help but laugh at what he said before he attacked.
“I’ve always wanted to see the Bankai of the former Captain.”
Her reply was simple.
“You are weak. You couldn’t even get me to draw my Zanpakuto, let alone my Bankai.”
Then, making a comment about her using her Zanpakuto on a lowly Hollow, he dashed towards her, attempting to slice her in whatever opening he could find. She didn’t feel the need to mention that she only used her Zanpakuto on the Hollow because she wanted to finish fight quickly and resume teaching her class. She allowed him to get closer. As he was a meter in front of here, she raised her right hand and extended her middle and index fingers and pointed them at the Shinigami. Then, a concentrated bolt of white lightning burst from her fingers and hit him square in the chest. As the pain of Kisa’s attack caused him to forget his initial goal, she jumped back at used the ‘Black Coffin’ Kidô. Within seconds the man was trapped in a black rectangle. The black box was immediately impaled by numerous swords, killing the Shinigami inside it. Kisa shook her head with disappointment. This had been a complete waste of her time. This didn’t even qualify as a light work out. The most exercise she got was when she was running down the stairs to get there.
Returning to her class room and entering her Gigai, she looked back at the last two who were still awake. One of the two was staring at her with an expression one would usually get with staring at a ghost… for the first time. Kisa could tell why the boy looked so terrified. He must’ve been able to see what had happened outside. He was apparently not like the rest of his classmates. He saw what his supply teacher did. Kisa gave the boy a cheery smile as if nothing had happened and resumed teaching the class. If he decided to confront her about it, she would simply deny it, wondering if the man had lost his sanity because he was overly stressed or something like that.
