The light's inside the Mallory Mansion glared brightly down upon the work bench on which Harue Masumi had her hands fidgeting with something mechanical. Several loose wires, metal and pieces of circuitry littered the space around her. She wiped her brow with the back of her hand, as she gazed down at her handy work: A small device that looked similar to an inside-out battery pack. One side of it looked to be only just welded shut. A small blow torch next to the device giving further evidence to this assumption. A small trigger lay attached ontop of the thing, again chrome-silver like the casing. "Why won't it work...Hmm..." The Teen muttered to herself trying to figure out the problem. The circuitry was layed out the way she needed it, all the wires were hooked up right. Then what was the problem? Harue examined the device closely and carefully, before realising with a roll of the eyes that she forgot to add a real power source. Glancing up at the light she got an idea.
Harue stood in the center of the room and fell into a very deep concentration. The lightbulb overhead flickered for a moment and grew extremely bright for a brief amount of time, before going out. The light itself hovered in an orb over Harue's palm as she brought it back to the table. She picked up the device with her other hand and thrust the ball of light into the device. It glowed briefly and then a red light by the trigger turned on. "I knew it!" She giggled and held the device happily. She pulled the trigger and a three dimensional image of a fan lit up in the air, looking as if to be really their. "Finally I've finished my Holo-Projector." Harue looked extremely sastisfied with her work as she set it back down on the work bench and admired the slowly rotating hologram.

Richard had been out on a hollow hunt the night before and as such he had come back home very late, and knowing he needed to sleep he had decided to sleep a few hours extra. However as much as his sleep was dreamless he suddenly jerked up from his bed, wide awake as his eyes darted around the room.
He let out a sigh of relief when he saw nothing, then a second later pushed the blankets aside and swung his feet over the edge of the large bed. Leaning over to a table next to it he picked up the cellphone that laid on it, and when he flipped it open the light from the screen illuminated his upper body and parts of the room, after tapping in a prety simple code and then pushing a tiny bit of reiatsu into it a map of the mansion appeared.
'The security fields havent registered any intrusions... yet I felt something... Was it just my imagination? Oh well, its an hour early, but I might as well get up.' Richard thought as he stood up, walking over to the door out of his room and flipping the switch next to it, making the lights in the room turn on. 'Much better.' He thought as he walked over to his wardrobe and took out one of his ordinary black "buisness suits" and put it on.
A few minutes later he was walking through the first floors main corridor of the mansion like structure, but as he passed by the room that was generarilly used as a simple workroom he could hear a feminine voice inside, but he couldent hear quite what had been said, though he recognized the voice. Sighing slightly he walked up to the door and as he opened the door he spoke. "Harue, you know your not allowed inside the workro..." He stopped in the middle of the word as he caught sight of the hologram flating above the device Harue had constructed.
Though the suprise on his face had been apparent it was soon smothed over with his general calm expression before he stepped inside and went to inspect the hologram. "Did you... Make this? Very interesting I must say, could you tell me how you went about it?" Richard asked sincerelly, he knew himself how holographic projectors worked as they had a few in the laboratories inside the NWO headquarters, but they were atleast twice the size as the one Harue had made to project such a hologram. And, there was something else about it too. "Might there be something, spiritual, about it?" He then added, though he looked as he was inspecting the device that projected the hologram he also kept an eye on Harue's expression.

Silence permeated the air for a full minute before Harue finally spoke. Her expression was that of shock, and embarassment at being caught. "Ah...well.." she began with a shaky start. "I'm...sorry for not telling you Uncle Richard...I knew you wouldn't let me in here, and I couldn't find anywhere else to work...so..." Then to her surprise, he questioned on how she went about constructing the highly advanced piece of technology with genuine interest.
Harue cleared her throat before starting. "Well...I've been working on it for around a month or so..." She paused briefly, collecting herself. "I needed a casing to hold everything without it looking to...trivial. And unprofessional. So I went to this spy shop I know of, and bought a lipstick camera. And a miniature phaser trigger. I implemented them together so that the trigger would initiate a chain reaction which would in conclusion, turn on the camera. I had to do a bit of reverse engineering to say...reverse the camera's function so that it would emit an image rather then record it." She coughed again and took a sip from a waterbottle she had set on the table where he was working. "Unfortunately, I didn't have anyway to make enough power flow through it without making it larger and bulkier. This wouldn't normally be a problem, except I wanted it to be portable. As from what I've known there has yet to be a portable Holographic Projector ever concieved."
Harue's tone was...more then likely. Not what Richard would be used to. She normally spoke with a cute girlish charm layering her voice. But now she spoke with a proffesional air that was unlike her by a long shot. "So...I ended up being able to find a light refractor which could emit an image. But it was extremely staticy and bad quality...And couldn't last more then a second before flickering off." She paused thinking a second, before continuing with heated embarassment and uncertainty. "I...needed a stronger powersource. So I kind of...well..." She trailed off, unwilling to continue her explanation. She didn't share her ability with anyone...The fact that she could see spirits and black creatures with white faces scared her. Nobody else could see them. On a few different occasions one of the black creatures attacked her. But she was able to escape by flaring a blast of light in front of them, blinding them long enoguh for her to slip away.
Reguardless of Richard's words about the air of something spiritual about the device. Harue was still scared to unveal that she had supernatural powers. Even to her uncle.

OOC: Very tired syndrome- *falls asleep on keyboard*
Richard listened with interest at how his niece had created the holographic device, to be able to create something so advanced with things so simple... However he also noticed to his surprise how she spoke very professional like, the way several of the scientists and mechanics working in his company did whenever they assesed the situation or reported something. 'There is definitely more to her than I thought. And... From the looks of it she too has some form of power.' He thought as he turned his full attention to Harue, though in actuality he had prety much already had it that way, now he was merely showing it.
When she finally got to explain its power source she started stuttering slightly as she seemed unsure of what to say, eventually just stopping. It was apparent she was trying to hide something, she was definitely nervous about it though. A small smirk crept up Richards lips, unlike most times when he did smile and such it held nothing malicious at all, which to many who knew him could seem surprising. "Its alright, your not the only one." He said with a reasuring smile, waiting a few seconds more to continue. "I can tell you've got talent with these kinds of things, perhaps you'd like to come over to my company to see what you are capable off?"

Harue blinked back her surprise. Others...like me? Does he...really mean? The prospect of being others...other's who could see the things she saw...If that's what he meant then..."Your...company...you mean that weapons manufactor that you own?" Harue wasn't sure if she liked the fact that her Uncle made weapons. Then again, the weapons did go to a place that helped keep the country safe... "Well...it is the morning..." The teen leaned against the table, letting her hands wrap around the edge to keep her balance. "Okay! But...I need food first." She giggled, hugged her Uncle, and bounced out of the room singing softly to herself as she made her way to the kitchen for some hot chocolate and an omelete. She made one for Richard too of course, and after the two had finished eating. They were in the car, driving towards the Mallory Arms Coroporation.
Harue was obviously thinking about something very carefully as she sat in the passenger seat of her Uncle Richard's vehicle. "Uncle...what exactly...will I be doing?" she questioned trying to imagine what use a teenage girl, only just entering the world of romance would be to a Weapons Industry. "I mean...I'm not exactly that old..." She said thoughtfully as her mind went over the differe possibilites of what they might need of her.

Richard felt he had hit spot on when he saw Harue's surprised expression, she was seemingly trying to comprehend what he had just told her when she, stuttering, asked him a question. "Why, yes. I inherited the company from my father, so I see it as my obligation to run it at the best of my ability." Richard answered her question, a smile on his face, although not because of him being proud of how well he had done, but rather of the irony of his own words. Sure he spent many hours at the Mallory Arms complex each day, but most of it was in the secret research labs of the New World Order. Yet despite this the company had prospered beyond belief since he took over, leading Richard to wonder just what his father had been doing during all that time he spent away.
Richard was a bit relieved when Harue agreed on comming along, and before long she was back in her old cheerfull mood as she even gave him a hug, which he returned gently, he did not want to hurt his only remaining relative that he cared about, after all his physical strength was higher than that of a standard human, despite his looks. He couldent help but crack a smirk as she wandered off towards the kitchen, singing softly to herself. Her serious demeanor a little while ago had certainly been a surprise, but he really did not mind her "normal" one, it was good that she remained somewhat carefree atleast, he himself had lost more than just his loved ones when he was young...
Not long after the two was in Richards own jeep, but it was more along the lines of a tank on wheels really. It had some prety excessive armor plating all over, and the windows was black painted and had atleast three layers of thick bullet proof glass in them. With Richard in the drivers seat and Harue in the seat next to him they were driving along the roads of Tokyo city, their destination, the massive main complex of the Mallory Arms Corporation, also the secret hideout for the New World Order. Along the way Richard noticed how Harue seemed to dooze off, she looked like she was thinking about something rather deeply, he had some hints as to what it may be, but he figured if she wanted to know something she would ask, and ask she did.
Richard looked a little towards Harue, still keeping an eye on the road as he put on a reasuring smile before answering. "Dont worry, its your first time there so I will be showing you around the place, let you meet some of the more.. Shall we say.. Special, subordinates of mine." He hoped she would see the meaning in what he had just said, though he was unsure on how smart Harue actually was, her earlier display proved she had some intelligence, but the way she usually acted pointed out it could have been just luck, so who knew? He gave her a minute before he began once more.
"But of course, thats not all. If you could do something so advanced as a holographic device with such simple things, I'd like to see what are capable off. And, theres another thing as well, but you will get to know once we get there." Richard finished, just then he pulled around a corner with the..car.. Then they could clearly see the massive structure that comprised the newly constructed Mallory Arms Corp main complex. It was probably one of the most eye-catching buildings in all of Tokyo, with its massive frame that shot to the sky, having a simple, yet at the same time rather complicated design and with glass covering the majority of the sides.
After another five minutes of driving across the city they finally reached the gates, in comparison to the main building they werent even close, but when you were driving in through the wall one could see it itself was rather massive, and the fact it was made seemingly made in obsidian, or something that looked like it, did not make the gates any less intimidating. At the gate a guard stoped the car for a brief moment, letting them through with a salute as Richard pulled the window down and showing who it was, after that it only took a few more minutes to park the car and go inside the massive structure. "So here we are, my companies main complex. So, what would you like to do first? I'm going to let you decide." Richard said with a nice tone of voice, which caused some of the people working there look at him strangely as they walked past, seeing THE Richard act nice for once was a new thing.

"...Sigh, Desu~....."
Moving a book back onto her desk, which was just recently cleaned, Marisa sat down into her chair, which wasthe rolling kind, which caused her to roll backwards, into the other desk. She lost balance and the chair fell over, leaving the green haired beauty to hit the floor on her bottom.
"Oof!"
Marisa got up, her sleepy eyes looking around to make sure no one had seen her clumsiness. She picked up her chair, then sat back down, carefully this time as to avoid repeating history within a few moments. She then put her chin on her hand, her elbow on the desk. She picked up an ink pen, then started doodling on a piece of paper, boredly. She wasn't used to arriving at work to do nothing. Usually, Boss was here to tell her to do this, do that, don't touch that, out of my office......
Marisa let her eyes wonder, watching the clock, then a fly, then the Venus Fly Trap on her desk lure in and eat the fly, then looked away out the window. She smiled, seeing her Boss pull up in his jeep. She noticed that someone else was with him...a young girl, maybe her age? At any rate, Boss seemed to be nice-ish to her...maybe a relative? With Boss, it could be anything.

Special...Subordinates? Harue grew wide eyed. Did he really mean that...I'll have to wait to find out for sure... She thought to herself as the car came up to a halt in front of the Main Complex. The pair got out of what seemed to be a vehicle belonging to the army, and started towards the double doors leading into the building. Harue's mind whirled when she saw the huge complex of the Mallory Arms Coorporation. "It's so big..." The teen said with wonder. "You OWN this place? Wow..." Her excitement was now apparent as she could just barely contain herself. She ran forward through the front doors and looked all around her. "Oh Uncle...You must show me everything! This is just so...Amazing!"
The exicted teenager ran inside and looked around staring at the walls, the desks, the elevators. Everything. It was all new to her. Harue had never been inside any sort of business building let alone one of such a caliber as the Mallory Arms Corporation. She turned back towards her uncle, bouncing on her heals, her eyes bright with wonder and exitement. "I want to see it all!" Her voice was as eager as a school girl's. That might be due to the fact she WAS a school girl...well te right age to be one. After Harue moved in with her Uncle Richard, she had no interest in going to school. Her depression was very deep, she missed her parents greatly. But Richard was kind to her, in his own way. And they ended up growing close, and now she loved him almost as much as she had loved her father. "Please?" Harue finsihed smiling brightly.

Seeing the over-excited Harue run infront of him, whirling around to take in everything Richard sighed, though it wasnt his usual annoyed kind, rather it was more on the amused side, something he rarily showed. Being as calm as ever he simply walked up to her before he responded, though he had a slight smile on his lips.
"Well Harue, the place is prety big, I could show you around for a week and we would still not have reached the top." He then said as response before walking up to a desk clerk, showing an ID badge. "I will be showing my niece around the complex today, so tell Kaeshi that I'm expecting him to take care of the paperwork." Richard said to the middle-aged japanese woman, who began typing away on her computer directly.
Turning back around towards Harue, Richard threw her a small badge with the Mallory logo on it ((I've yet to think how its supposed to look xD)) and a bunch of numbers around it. "You will need this, come on now, I'm going to let you meet one of my more special subordinates." He then said as he began to walk off towards a large glass elevator at the far end of the room.
OOC: Sorry if its bad, got no ideas @_@

OoC: SOrry for the delay...i've had a lot on my plate the past couple weeks. ===============================
The badge flew through the air as Harue raised her hand to a verticle position and caught it near the left side of her head. She smiled exuberently and followed her Uncle into the elevator. He pressed a button and they began moving. Soon enough the air exited the elevator into a wide hallway with a bunch of office doors with names such as Kirathe Meiana engraved in silver plates fused into the top part of the door. (Idk if this is what you had in mind or not, but it seemed like a good idea to me =P Feel free to change it. And i'll edit my post accordingly.) They moved down the hallway as Harue glanced left and right trying to see into the small windows of each room. One thing was certain, a lot of people were busy today.
Harue stopped as the pair reached a door with the name "Marisa Truax." Engraved into the silver plate. Richard continued to walk past, but Harue just stood there staring at the door. She didn't know why, but she suddenly felt drawn to that name.

As the door to her office space opened, Marisa was picking herself up from the floor. An odd thing had happened - apparently, leaning back in a rolling chair isn't a good idea. She looked up from her fallen floor space to see that someone was outside the door. She got up, rubbing her sore bossum and opened the door. Marisa blushed in embarresment as she shut her eyes, standing straight up. Only fate would put this person outside her door.
"Um.....h-hello, Mr. Mallory-san."
Marisa opened her eyes and looked up, seeing that there was someone behind her blonde-haired employer. Marisa leaned slightly to the right, looking around him. It was a teen, a girl that looked younger than her. She had aqua hair, and cute amber eyes. Her blue t-shirt fit nicely on her, and black low-riding jeans suited her. Marisa perked up slightly.
"Um....Mr. Mallory-san, who is this?"
((OOC: just a tidbit, she hasn't started calling Richard "Boss-kun" yet.))

{Let's try to move this forward shall we?)
Harue stared into the office, and at the young woman greeting her Uncle. She was extremely good looking, but a few years older then Harue...In her early twenties maybe? Harue didn't know...What she did know was that she couldn't take her eyes off the figure who was probably Marisa. "U-Uncle...who is she?" Harue whispered softly and anxiously to Richard so Marisa wouldn't hear.

Richard knew well enough that Marisa Truax "office" was on this floor of the building, but it seemed to have slipped his mind now that it was occupied with the task at hand. He continued walking, but only a few steps later he noticed his niece had stoped walking, and as he looked over his shoulder he noticed she stood with her eyes focused on the sign of one of the offices.
Realizing who the office belonged too Richard turned around and shortened the distance between himself and the door in a less calm and more hasty way than what he usually showed. He was more or less infront of Harue when he was about to tell her they would continue down the hallway to get to the right place, but then he heard a thud inside the office, causing him to turn slightly towards it again, and just as he did the door opened, showing Marisa with an expression of surprised shock, or something of the like.
Noticing both Marisa's reaction to Harue, and Harue's reaction to Marisa, Richard couldent help but put his right hands palm on his forehead and sigh. "Marisa, this is my niece Harue Masumi. Harue, this is also one of my more.. Special.. Subordinates, Marisa Truax." Richard introduced the two to each others, his friendly exterior that he had shown Harue before was gone, instead it was the usual "only buisness" attitude that he seemed to always wear in public and in the office, when calm.
'I guess theres no helping it now...' He thought as he glanced from Harue to Marisa. "May we come inside? I have a.. Favor to ask of you." Richard then said, though it was obvious he was reluctant to the idea of asking Marisa of a favor.

Marisa blinked as her boss introduced her to his niece, the girl with amber eyes. Her name was Harue...Marisa tried to remember that. As her boss Richard sighed and palmed his face before asking to come into her small work space, she realized that she had been called a "special" subordinate. Subordiante? What did that even mean!
But Marisa stepped back, opening the door fully for her two future guests, her eyes still on Harue. Why did Mr. Mallory want her to meet her niece?

(Sorry for taking so long...*sigh*)
The window in the office of one Marisa Traux of the Mallory Arms Coroporation had sunlight filtering through it's face. Said sunlight lit the floor with a yellow hue making it look lighter. Harue couldn't help but ignore this...as she stared at Marisa. Not able to take her eyes off this girl who was a few years older then herself. A blush creeped along her cheeks as they were invited in. Harue hesitated briefly, before she entered and sat down on a nearby chair fidgeting without pause and fingering the hem of her shirt. Her ears were trained intently on Richard and his Employee as she stared at her lap to nervous to say anything.
