As the title suggests this is about one thing, should we continue following a posting order in the main arcs?
It keeps everything in order but lets face facts, some people have been less than reliable when it comes to posting in a timely fashion. That essentially leaves those of us who are on regularly sitting here twiddling our thumbs and staring at walls for an extreme amount of time. Even if everyone in the current posting arc only took their 3 allotted days to post that would still be a full 33 days before the ball returned to the initial poster and to be completely honest due to some schedules we can probably extend that time by several more days.
So, should we drop the posting order completely? Instead we would post whenever something of consequence to our characters occurred. Keep in mind nobody would be allowed to abuse this and post every other post but at the same time we wouldn’t have to sit here watching the names go slowly down the list and bugging the crap out of those who don’t seem interested in staying active. Those who wanted to post could do so freely and those who take their sweet time could post when they got the chance. Though they would be expected to mold their post to the active posters and not the other way around, after all someone who has been interested in keeping the RP active should not be forced to cater to someone who is not.
I realize this sounds a little harsh and could complicate matters if you’re not good at following multiple stories but it’s getting a bit ridiculous. One round of posting should not take a month.
