((There is no Bio sheet for the Commander General as of now. It will be posted once it is completed.
Please note: Kazuma is a shared character between Gahrok and I. This post was written by both of us, so half the credit goes to gahrok for this post as well.))
Three academy students... taken. Kazuma's fingers ran through his mane of untidy white hair as he paced in his office until finally straying to a large window placed near one of his many shelves. He leaned forward with a troubled groan, his stormy eyes inhabited by a rare intensity as he sifted through the jumble of information that had been presented to him thus far.
They had been on a trip to the living world escorted by Eleventh Division Vice Captain Tarukane Sokou, who was found unconscious and seriously injured several miles from the area that the children were last seen. Their captor was described as a female Arrancar -possibly an Espada- encased in a body of white metallic armor. It was Tenth Division Captain Saigotschuu Yun that provided these details, along with the report of a student apparently left behind. He was identified as academy student Tsuke Isami and after an analysis of his physical condition, he was returned to the academy unharmed.
In the back of his head he heard Capricorn begin to grumble but for now he let the irate zanpaktou fume. Stroking the rough grey stubble of his chin thoughtfully Kazuma let his gray-blue eyes roam distractedly around the clutter of his office, searching for something to divert his attention, his worry. It hurt him personally every-time he heard of a casualty of Soul Society, and few could truly understand how he felt: they were his sons and daughters… they could be good or bad, strong or weak, but they were his to watch over and protect. And, everyone that died or fell into enemy hands, everyone that fell through his fingers… was his responsibility.
Still lost in thought he allowed himself to sink once more into the confines of his brown leather chair, smiling for a second at how worn the ancient armrests were. Kazumas fingers dug into the leather as he thought of the students, they were young yet…. young enough to be rash and idealistic, and too young to understand the finality of things. They still needed to grow and learn, it wasn’t right…. no, it wouldn’t be allowed. The stormy eyes of the commander general still from his chair looked vacantly out the window, his back to the door which could burst open at any second.
It had been planned out, he thought to himself, getting back to the details. They had attacked Soul Society as a diversion just after capturing the students in the real world. Kazama’s hand now twirled a shock white lock of hair as he pondered the purpose of such an attack. So they want a war…. they want to draw us to them….. and shall we take the bait? Do we even have a choice?
Let us give it to them! growled Capricorn, They are the scum aren’t they? Where is your pride... why even wait for these bumbling captains? Kazama paused in his thoughts for a moment, allowing his eyes to roam over an unsorted box of classroom equipment he’d acquired from a trip to earth nearly a century ago, dusty rulers and a broken globe…. I really oughta sort that out… KAZUMA! Capricorn thundered; he did not like to be ignored. “They are the leaders of Soul Society,” said Kazuma wearily, as if explaining for the 100th time, in reality it was far more then that…. “They are the most capable of making the decisions.” A hint of pride stained his voice at the last sentiment, no matter how many times he had to tell it to Capricorn his proud tone never faltered, they were his captains.
Capricorn huffed in obvious disgust but offered no words of rebuttal and Kazuma's lips pulled at the corners in a gentle smile, his eyes glimmering for a brief moment in their usual jovial light, “We'll get them back.” He already felt the first touches of his seemingly infinite optimism returning and his smile grew. Soul Society was still the supreme power, he and his children, his beloved shinigami would persevere and overcome all obstacles...just as they always had. In the past, he was always a witness to the extreme strength his children found in adversity. Bonds of loyalty were reinforced by shared hardships... they would find a way. He had faith.
He stood once more, his eyes floating about his office in an instant of nostalgia as they explored the time-worn chairs spread about his office... the places his Captain's sat during the meetings. Soon these seats would once more be filled by eager listeners, his warriors. He held indefinite trust in their abilities, their allegiance to him. They would bring them home. Those kids were not going to die. He would not allow it.

Yun had not left the central court since returning to Soul Society, in a way this entire ordeal was his fault and he was not going to be caught unprepared again. He knew Kazumas tendency's by heart and knew it was not a matter of “if” but “when” he would call a meeting to discuss the occurrences of the past day. The entire thing had come as a surprise and had been well coordinated beyond what Yun had thought possible, it had caused him to think but moreover it caused him regret. He had spent hundreds of years sharpening 10th Division into a prying knife and yet in one fell swoop the Arrancar of Las Noches had, had their way. A weaker individual would have blamed the arrival of Espada in Soul Society and the time it took to find a way around them for their failure but Yun was not such a person and was keenly aware that when this had been straightened out he would have to make changes. For Yun rarely made excuses for his failures and if he did it was because those “excuses” were legitimate reasons. He did not fear though for he knew it would be straightened out, such a crime would not be allowed to stand and no matter whether the other Captains shared his feelings on this he did not care, he would be dealing with it.
Members of 1st Division among a few others skittered here and there all around him, giving him proper berth as befit his position while he leaned nonchalantly against the nearest wall. While his thoughts were elsewhere he briefly considered that he approved of this, in his eyes 1st Division was one of the few that maintained proper conduct and while he thought such formality's were a bit silly it still showcased their beliefs, especially considering the lackadaisical manner Kazuma sometimes seemed to lead with. He briefly contemplated that it might have been auto-programming of sight, that their nature was no longer conscious politeness but an unconscious response to his form and dress. In a rare occurrence Yun was sporting the white haori bearing his divisional seal that he had received upon ascending to the rank of captain. While he usually felt no need he knew that if they were going to retaliate in force then he needed to be easy to pick out of a crowd since he would likely be interacting with lesser members of the other divisions who might not necessarily know him by heart.
With his right hand he repositioned his sunglasses on his face, glancing over them with his penetrating eyes and neutral facial expression before he moved forward. He paced silently down one of the many hanging bridges that graced the exterior of the court, occasionally checking into one of the large garden areas to see if anything of interest was occurring, an unusual impatience gripping him as he sought to mentally soothe the subconscious bruises to his psyche caused by the monumental failure he has suffered. For once Oouruzan-boukon remained rather silent, despite its often joking manner the three kittens were his council for a reason and were rather intelligent despite their fallacious shows and knew that his mind was made up and that this was not the time to disturb him.
Yun turned around once more as he left one of the gardens and headed back across the bridge he had been pacing when he spotted someone coming across the bridge with obvious intent on meeting him. Had he not been a captain he might not have known the individual but thanks to his well formulated memory and the fact that above all Divisions he interacted with 1st the most he knew this man as the 4th seat, Katayama Kuatura. Much like the Commander General himself his subordinates looks were deceiving, looking as if he neglected his outfit in favor of a more laid back, almost “beach” look but he was quite aware of the honor bound soul that lay within and the quick witted leadership tendency's the man had. Kuatura gave him a quick salute and then approached closer to him.
“Hello sir.”
“How are you Kuatura?”
“Fine, yourself?”
“Eh, you know, some days you wake up ready to save the world and others you figure you're better off eating a plate full of babies and going back to bed.”
He gave the other man a sideways grin and despite the calm and slow nature of their conversation both could see the other seething with purpose and desire to move ahead. Eventually after a few more pleasantries were traded they wound to a close and the true intent of Kuaturas arrival was given.
“Kaz...The Commander General is calling a Captains meeting, we have been asked to request you all gather within his study.”
“Of course, I had been waiting.” Kuatura shook his hand in a off manner, ignoring Kuaturas slip knowing full well that much of 1st Division were on named basis with their commander and instead staring into space as if he was back in thought.
“And here I had thought you were just pacing the the corridors and scaring all the lower division members because you thought it was fun.”
Yun was pulled from his revelry at that and gave a half smirking shrug in return. Kuatura mentioned he needed to take the word to others so with a few gestures he made off and Yun was once more left to his own devices. He continued his contemplating pacing for a few more moments before he turned around once more and made off for the Commander Generals study. It was not hard to find for Yun knew the divisional quarters of 1st only second to his own and had often walked its halls. He made his way quickly through one hall to another and approached the wooden doors with no sense of awe as might grace a lesser member of the Gotei 13, this was a normal practice for him. He opened the doors and proceeded inside, Kazuma the Commander General standing before him. The master of the shinigami was looking rather contemplative himself at this point and had a serious air about him, dropping his usual visage of kindness in favor of the harsh nature he was capable of bringing out. Yun did not bow but he gave a polite tip of his head and an elegant wave of his hand as befit his usual emphasis on body language, something that often gave a view into what he was thinking but in this case only mirrored his intent.
“You called?” he gave a friendlier smile as he said the words despite the expression Kazuma bore knowing full well that the man was not angry at him, just at the situation.
He gave a quick glimpse around the room to see who else had arrived but was greeted only with the familiar sight of books, trinkets and real world gadgets. It seemed he was the first there but that suited him fine, he didn't mind waiting and it was better that he was there for all that would be said anyway. He approached the area where the chairs were set up for the meeting and leaned against the back of the nearest one while rearranging the glasses on his nose once more, a habit of his. He appeared to be about to voice something more when another voice broke the greeting duo and Yun rolled his eyes before glancing to his side.
“Hey! Hey Capricorn!!!” The black kitten known as Chaos stood on top of the nearest chair with his butt facing the Commander General, readily visible to everyone around through the connection Oouruzan-boukon had with Yun allowing the three kittens to materialize at will.
“I FART IN YOUR GENERAL DIRECTION!!! CRANKY BASTARD!!!”
Before he could get any farther Yun reached over without even moving and grasped the kitten by the head. Chaos gave several wriggles of protest but when Yun gave him a hard squeeze he exploded into a small burst of red smoke before the apparition disappeared completely. Yun returned his attention to Kazuma, none of the serious nature gone from his face that had taken him after his friendly greeting. When he spoke it was obvious he had no intention of letting Chaos games lighten the atmosphere as he ignored the incident entirely and moved straight to business.
“We are going to go get them, aren't we Kazuma-sensei? This was my mistake, I'm going to go clean it up no matter what the others say.” He said echoing his previous thoughts only aloud this time. There was a certain vindication in his eyes that said he meant every word that came out of his mouth.

Hyo sat in his dark study, waiting for the meeting he knew would be called. He was currently folding a piece of paper, making a beautiful origami swan. He sighed, knowing peace would not last much longer. Those damned arrancar had made sure of that. He stood, walking over to the window, he gazed out upon the small pond that stood right outside his office, down a floor. A knock occured.
"Come in."
The door creaked open, and in came one of the lower ranked shinigami in his division. He saluted, and stood at attention.
"Sir, a member of the 1st division has sent notice that a Captains meeting is about to occur."
"Dismissed." He tugged off his black cloak, instiched with the great eagle of his clan. Today was a special occasion, might as well wear his Captains cloak. He hoped he would get an answer from the other Captains as to what this was about. Due to him being so busy setting up any defenses in case of attack, he had kept himself in the dark. He opened the door to his study, the light momentarilly blinding him. Hyo looked on with pride as his division worked on last minute details. He had pretty much beaten responsibility into them.
He was soon at the 1st Division. As he walked by, he couldn't help but wonder how Kazuma got them to be so polite, which Hyo could not accomplish with his own subodinates. He would have to ask him later, after this mess was solved, whatever this mess was. Hyo walked through the corriders, almost getting lost once, but was soon able to find the study. He heard the voice of Yun. “We are going to go get them, aren't we Kazuma-sensei? This was my mistake, I'm going to go clean it up no matter what the others say.” He knocked on the doors to annouce his arrival, before walking in. He bowed slightly to Kazuma. He took notice that him and Yun were the only ones to arrive so far.
"Sir." He said. "Yun." Hyo said in a friendly manner. He went quickly to his own seat, sitting down. "Sir, may I ask why this meeting has been called, or should we wait for the other Captains to arrive?" Hyo hoped he would get his answer now, he had been in the dark for too long, even if it was his own fault. He decided that there might be other captains who didn't know what was going on, so he decided to wait. "Nevermind, I can wait."

It was a nervous rap upon the door that called Matano Nekomi’s attention away from her work at her desk. Glancing toward the door, she confidently called out, “Enter.”
Slowly the door opened to reveal a young soldier with wide, terrified eyes. His zanpakuto loudly crashed against the frame of the door as he moved to step inside, and he spun around quickly in embarrassment. “Uhh…” was all he could say for the moment, trying to quickly gather himself and deliver the message for which he was sent.
“Speak,” the captain ordered, tapping her pencil on the paper as a show of obvious impatience at his bumbling ways.
“I… uhh… sorry, Matano-taichou,” the nervous boy began with a small bow of apology. “I… I was sent to inform you that all captains have been called to assemble in the halls of Gotei 1 immediately.”
Nekomi set her pencil down and crossed her arms, sitting back in her chair. She examined the lad closely for a few moments. She evaluated his stance, confidence (or lack thereof), and his potential in a fight. He was obviously growing uncomfortable under the very intense gaze of Seireitei’s smallest captain, as he began to shift his weight from one foot to the other.
“Is that so?” Nekomi asked the anxious soldier.
“Y…yes, Matano-taichou…?” he answered, unsure of how to reply.
As though Nekomi had been struck by lightning, he entire visage changed. She uncrossed her arms and stood from her chair, which actually made her nearly disappear behind the large desk. She gave the boy a broad smile and a nod of approval before speaking to him once more.
“Okay, thanks! Get out!” she said in a very cheerful tone. She followed her final statement with a small giggle. While she had already known that she was to meet with the other captains, Nekomi always requested that the newest of Gotei 11’s recruits be sent in to deliver important messages. She simply enjoyed toying with them and instilling the usual respect (or fear) for their captain early on. It was one of her favorite games, after all.
“Of course, Matano-taichou…” the boy hesitantly answered. Though he’d been given a clear order, he wasn’t quite sure what to do next. The girl’s apparent mood had shifted so suddenly that he wasn’t sure what type of impression, if any, he had given his captain and she wasn’t about to let him stand around and figure it out. He quickly determined that it would be wise to turn on his heel and escape the captain’s office, just in case her mood shifted again. He did just that.
Nekomi glanced over the papers on her desk as she slipped into her haori. While some might expect to find numerous reports and approval requests to be scattered across the desk of a captain, that type of thing wasn’t really this young girl’s style. Instead, her attention had been focused upon a poorly drawn version of a large black feline. Kaijin responded to his “portrait” with a deep, rumbling feline chuckle in the back of the girl’s mind. She smiled at her progress on the picture, and shuffled it in with the other papers before placing them in a neat stack on the desk.
Walking out the door and through the halls of her division, Nekomi waved at many of her subordinates. Some responded with a similar wave, others a nervous bow, and often she received that same wide-eyed stare that the young messenger had given her in her office. Regardless, she calmly strolled though Gotei 11, using her famous walking stick to push various pieces of broken furniture out of her way.
It was a short walk to Gotei 1, though the area seemed to be bustling with increasing activity. Many officers from other divisions loitered in and around the buildings, seemingly accompanying and awaiting their leaders. Much elbowing and pointing was had at the approach of the childlike Captain Matano, the bottom edge of her haori dragging across the ground as she walked, a sort of signature of hers. The small captain certainly didn’t have to push anyone aside to make her way through the crowd, however, though she would have gladly done it. Everyone who stood between her and her destination quickly shuffled aside for fear of being roughly prodded by her staff (or worse). It was a little disappointing to the young captain, as she was sort of hoping to have reason to smack someone, but it would have to wait.
She made her way to the study of the Commander General and knocked to announce herself before stepping inside. In this much quieter setting, the girl’s dragging haori could just barely be heard as she walked, though her footsteps made no sound. She gave a silent wave to those who had already arrived and made her way over to her usual seat. She made herself comfortable in the chair and was completely still for a fleeting moment, though the sound of her staff gently tapping on the table could soon be heard.
Meetings weren’t necessarily Nekomi’s favorite activity, but she was ready to hear the concerns of the Thirteen Protection Squads.

Unlike the others Kisho hadn’t had time to return to his own office. He had been running all over Soul Society gathering information. What he found was not peasant, it was apparent that the two Arrancar were just a distraction. A distraction to pull away Soul Society’s eyes from their real goal. Three academy students. Why they wanted them who knows, but one thing was for sure they took them alive.
Kisho was still pacing around when the summons came. It must have been hard for the lackey who found him, after all who would think to look for him outside of Commander General’s office. Kisho had known that there would be a meeting, so once he had all the info he could find he went to what. The poor sap who found him was a lower ranked member of his own division.
“There... you... are... Caption.... your.. wanted... in..the.. Commander’s... office..” he panted before looking up to see just were he was. ”Ummm I guess... you knew that”
”Yes but thank you for taking the time to find me now go find something worth wile to do.” Kisho shoved him off. Wright now he had no time for fun and games. Now was a time for action. As he walked in to the Commander’s office, he had wished he knew more. If he had some how gathered more, then he could walk in here knowing what to do. But as it stood now he was at a lose.
Taking his seat, Kisho begin to wonder how the other captions had beaten him here. After all he had spent his time wondering over Gotei 1, and somehow they had got here with out him knowing. It was probably his own fault. After all he was hard to find. While all the others were most likely in there offices.
Taking in the awe that was this timely place, Kisho mind wondered back to the fight he’d just incurred. The fight that, had he ended and took the time to ponder why the Arrancar were here, he could have found out the real reason. But the commander would not place the blame on him, no if any thing the others would see him as one who took on possibly the strongest Arrancar by himself. Well if they wanted to think that then let him. As far as he was concerned he had failed to kill Asmodeus, and should have some sort of punishment.
A quick glance around the room showed those who were here. Yun from 10th, most likely thought it was his fault, Hyo from the 5th, probably had no clue what was going on, and the ever crazy Nekomi from 11th, who knew what she was thinking. So far the turnout was kind of pathetic. Though Kisho had wished to be the first, waiting on the others might kill him.
At the rate they were going, they would never get anything done. Yes they had move quickly, after the Arrancar had left, but now they were lounging in chairs waiting on a few slow people who might not have any clue why they were called, and might take there sweet time in getting here. But Kazuma knew what he was doing, and Kisho had to trust his judgement. He would follow Kazuma to the end, and even if he didn’t like the decisions made here today, he would mostly follow them. He still had a sore to settle with Asmodeus, and no matter how long it took he would settle it. Although he was sure others thought the same thing. After all they had made it to Soul Society, and we had barley scathed them. Perhaps now they would take the fight to them. Although that would be suicide, it seemed to be the only way to get the students back. So many bumps in the path that faced them, what would they do if something went wrong, or if the hole thing was a trap. What if the Arrancar were smart enough to set up a trap, luring all the caption in to there domain only to finish off the true power of Soul Society.
Kisho would address all of these things during the meeting. After all that is what they were here for. Even so he wished that the others would show up soon. He never got the reasoning in holding meetings when they could be out working on the purpose of the meeting. At least they weren’t held that often. Kisho was usually a calm and collected person but during meetings he became a different person. He would leave his calm self at the door and turn into what someone expected a caption to be. A insane war bent, determined to have his voice heard person. What came of this meeting was yet to be seen, but it would only bring the worst out of him.
((Lol the new manga is a caption’s meeting as well))

Somewhere deep in the bowels of the ninth division, a young man sat bound to a chair. The room he was in was no bigger than a cell, but he didn't know that, over his head the man wore a black bag of cotton like material. He could breathe through it, but it was hot under the hood and his breath mixed with his saliva, sweat and mucus made the bag stick to his face adding to his discomfort. Also adding to this were his tears, oh yes there were tears. The man in the chair cried out for someone to set him free, for someone to save him, for someone to tell him what he was doing there. And most of all he cried out for someone to talk to him. It had been three days since he had awoken in this room. With this bag over his head. His arms had been bound at the wrist by a thin yet surprisingly unbreakable steel wire that bit into his flesh cutting deeper every time he struggled to free himself. So painful that he had stopped trying altogether after the first few hours and while his left arm still throbbed in agony, his right arm could not be felt at all. The bindings on his legs proved to be equally as unbreakable as the ones on his arms though they were simply shackled down to the floor with a short chain and then strapped to the legs of the chair. While he wasn't completely unable to breath, the amount of oxygen he received was minimal. He had been light headed within hours, now he could barely remain conscious. More than anything he wanted to know what was going on, the last thing he remembered was being out in the city and seeing a black cloak before being knocked unconscious and waking up in this god forsaken chair. Every few hours someone would enter the room and despite his desperate pleas would not respond to anything he said at all. They wouldn't say a word. He begged, he threatened, he even bribed them to say something, anything. but to no avail the only sounds he ever got from whoever it was, was the sounds of their feet walking in and out of the room after checking on him. It was maddening.
Suddenly a bright light came on overhead and burned his eyes through the bag forcing him to shut them tightly. The sound of the heavy metallic door opening could be heard and the familiar footsteps once more entered the room. The man in the chair yelled to be let go, continuously screaming until he felt a large hand grasp the top of his scalp. With a swift jerk the bag had been pulled from his head, and the man drew in the sweet cool air into his lungs rapidly. Extremely thankful to be out from under the shroud. The mans joy was short lived as he saw that in front of him was a very large and fierce looking man wearing a tattered black cloak. The very same cloak he had seen before losing consciousness. All at once the realization of his situation set in.
"What...What the fuck do you want from me? Let me out RIGHT FUCKING NOW! IF YOU DON'T I SWEAR I'LL FUCKING KILL YOU! You hear me? DEAD!!! Wa...WA....WHAT IS THAT, WHAT IS THAT OH GOD PLEASE, PLEASE! Let me go. LET ME GOOO!!!!
The captives tirade was cut short as the black haired man silently put an arm behind his back, retrieving two items from behind his cloak. The first of which was a scalpel its stainless steel seeming to shine as it reflected the light coming from overhead. At this the man in the chair became justifiably afraid , and began pleading. Then he saw the second item, a plain brown paper bag. He couldn't see its contents but there was definetly something in it. filling the bag about half way, the top of the bag folded over covering its top. The cloaked figure stared into his eyes, silently, expressionless. But in his eyes he saw death. just looking into them were making him visualize very real scenarios of being torn to pieces by this man. Was his killer intent this great??? The man wondered before recognizing it as fact.
His captor brought forth the paper bag and unrolled the top, he brought it forward directly into the mans face and pushed the bag against him so that his nose was inside amidst its contents. What he saw inside the bag made the captive man scream in terror. The bag was filled with maggots. Tiny, Slimy, wriggling maggots. hundreds of them. the man in the chair tried to pull his head away, trying with renewed vigor to free himself from his bonds and leave this contemptible place. The restraints cut deeper into his wrists leaving jagged chunks of flesh torn as blood freely flowed from them, only to find the bag of maggots pushed closer to him.Pressing against hi sf ace, his captor held the bag there for mere moments, but to the man sitting in the chair it felt like an eternity. the paper bag was placed on a desk that was off to the right of his chair. The other desk in the room, on the left of his chair held the scalpel. And thats where his assailant went next. He picked up the blade and came back over to him. The deranged man held the flat of the scalpel right up against his prisoners cheek and held it in front of the mans eye. All the while, the man never said a word. Why didn't he say anything?
The captives shirt was ripped off and while he began protesting this, thats when he saw it. His right hand had turned gangrenous and was even turning a shade of black. The bindings had completely cut off circulation and if his hand was not amputated soon, the gangrene would spread. He began panicking at the sight of this and once more began the slew of curses and threats directed towards his silent captor. For his part, the silent man went back and once again picked up the bag of maggots from the desk and held it in his left hand while he held the scalpel in his right. He began walking back towards his prisoner and raised the scalpel to the top of his left collar bone and began applying pressure. a small trail of blood trickled down from the wound as its blade cut deeper into his flesh as more pressure was applied and was pulled across his skin, tearing at the flesh of his shoulder blade creating a large, deep gash that extended to his armpit. The man in the chair grimaced and furiously screamed in protest.
He was ignored time and time again. When the blade was removed from his flesh, the cloaked figure brought the paper bag up and began emptying its contents into the wound. The captive man cringed and his screams reached a new level of hysteria as he frantically tried to free himself ignoring the pain, but was unsuccessful. The young man in the chair gave in to despair and sat there meekly in stunned horror. His captor grabbed the black hood from the table on the left and put it back over his face once more trapping him in the dark. Unable to see what was going on around him again, the feeling of the maggots writhing within his wound was now left for his imagination. This was somehow worse than when he could see them, and once more he renewed his pleas for release and mercy. But he knew, how could he not know. This was the room he was going to die in. with that thought, the room went dark once more and the sound of the metal door opening and closing was heard and he was once again alone. Left to wait for the black swordsman to return and kill him. He wished he would hurry.
Hitotsu, captain of the ninth division left the mans cell truly pleased with himself. He made his way back into his chamber and found he had a visitor.
"I trust everything went well with the vaizard." The man questioned.
"It did, What do you want Judeau?" Hitotsu replied absentmindedly.
The maniacal captain was still holding the scalpel he had used earlier and was staring at it, entirely transfixed in fascination by the crimson liquid coating its surface. Hitotsu brought the blade up to his mouth and began licking the blood off of it, while the blond unseated member of his division looked on. His feelings towards the spectacle if any remaining unseen and he simply waited for his captain to finish before speaking.
"Commander General Kazuma sama has called a captains meeting and requests you attend." Judeau stated plainly.
"Very well Judeau. You may go." Came the reply
Hitotsu made the short journey to the first gotei quickly enough, he was in no hurry. Upon reaching the huge doors of the division, Hitotsu was having a hard time keeping his lust for battle in check as he felt all the large spirit pressure gathered within. As he stood there, the gates swung open and the captain entered the building. The halls were well known to him as he had been here on a number of occasions over the millennium he had served in Soul society. The Commander General wasn't quite keen on Hitotsu's activities and had frequently brought him here to reprimand him,or voice his and others concerns about the captains methods. Kazuma strongly disagreed with his process of "dealing" with the condemned and many times had made Hitotsu swear to tone his brutality down and Hitotsu would swear it, but his blood lust would never allow him to keep such vows even if he meant them. And thus he began doing his more.........questionable practices in secret.
He made his way to the meeting room even had he not been here before the sheer force of the captains amassed powers could lead him there from miles away. Hell, Kazuma's alone would be enough for that. He reached the doors and saw a silver haired shinigami that belonged to the first division. Unlike other underlings, this one did not shy away from his gaze and although it was vaguely noticeable that his large spirit pressure was weighing on him, the youthful looking man did not let it effect him in the slightest. Hitotsu figured it was from being around old man Kazuma all day long. But the fact that this man did not cringe under his killer intent showed tremendous inner strength. Or just plain fearlessness, Hitotsu was intrigued. He had seen this man around before and knew him to be of some rank although he was not even a vice captain yet. Still a baby compared to himself, but interesting indeed.
Hitotsu made his way into the meeting room, and took a seat across from Matano Nekomi. The elevenths captain being one of the few of his "comrades" whom he could stomach the site of. Her stature might betray her intention but Hitotsu knew her to be someone who could appreciate the battlefield as he did. It seemed though, that some of the other captains were still missing. Irritated, he sat silently awaiting their arrival so the meeting could begin.

A deep blue sky posessed the majority of Arashi's vision, he lay upon a greyish cloud, contemplating the current situation in frustration. He sat up rather rigidly, placing his palms under his chin, letting his elbow's come to rest on his lap. A field of fluffy grey obscured any sort of landscape that might exist. The quiet form of Hissorihime stood nearby, giving off an air of comfort and encouragement. "What am I going to do...three students were taken into the very heart of Hueco Mundo...Poor Yun couldn't stop it...Blasted Espada..." By the description of the wasted area of the city, and by the bad shape Vice-Captain Sokou was in, he knew without any doubt that an Espada had indeed been the one to take the children to the Hollow World of Hueco Mundo.
The young Captain's Zanpakuto spirit sat down softly next to him, rubbing his back soothingly like a mother would to her child. "You seem to be blaming yourself...It wasn't your fault Arashi." Hissorihime spoke quietly, looking at Arashi with shimmering eyes. Her wings shuffled softly, revealing a loose feather which floated on the air before coming to rest in Arashi's lap. He picked it up and twirled it in his fingers, before blowing it away and watching it drift upon the small breeze.
"But don't you see?" Arashi spoke just as quietly. "If I had worked with Yun, maybe I could have used my Kidou to project stronger barriers around Soul Society...I neglected my duties as a Captain...I should have been able to prevent the breach into Soul Society...By working with Yun, and Hyo...We could have had much better protection then we have..." The Captain of the Kidou Arts Division looked up at his Zanpakuto spirit solemnly. "I need to do whatever it takes to get those children back...even if it means going into the heart of Las Noches itself..." His eyes grew fierce, filled with the lust for retribution.
A young voice interrupted Arashi's thoughts, and he snapped out of his meditative state. "Excuse me Arashi-Taicho? The Commander-General has called a Captain's meeting. All Captains are to attend immedietly." It was a young girl, he recognized her from the First Division, she went by the name of Hanasara. She was a pretty young girl, her long straight brown hair hung loosly behind her in a pony tail.
"Thank you Hanasara-chan. I will report to Kazuma-sensei right away." Arashi smiled and got up from a mat on the floor of the Seventh Division barracks and patted her softly on the head. He turned towards the door and vanished with a soft gust of wind.
Moments later two figures walked through the door to the Commander-General's officer. Hissorihime placed a hand softly on her wielder's shoulder, before vanishing with a gentle breeze that flowed around the room comfortingly. Arashi walked through and took his seat silently in his rightful place, giving a short nod of respect towards Kazuma.

A cool breeze blew into the office of the captain of Squad Twelve through the large open window, it's sill decorated with several rare and unique plants, some of which were unique and did not grow in the wild anywhere in Soul Society. Another the captain was proud of was a carnivorous plant he bred himself that would eat hollows, but of all the plants in the room there was one in a pot on his desk. It had been dead for well over 1500 years from Minoru's days at the academy, but oddly never decomposed. The window also provided an abundance of natural light and fresh air that calmed the soul of the man inside. Minoru sat back in his chair behind the large desk. Many loose sheets of blank paper were thrown about by the gentile wind from outside. Across the large room on opposite ends were two more large desks, halfway in-between the main desk and the doorway. The desk on the left side of the room served as a workstation for the captain's complex chemistry equipment and many small shelves each containing complicated and mysterious potions and chemicals. On the other side of the office, there stood a grand computer system, it's mainframe taking up just as much space on the other side of the hall as the office, and it's giant screen taking up half of the entire right wall of the room. From in here he had a personal record of everything happening inside his laboratories and research facilities since the supercomputer's construction five centuries ago. The computer also kept records of every single member of the Gotei 13, their squad, service record, and approximate current whereabouts.
A small beeping noise coming from the computer awoke the resting captain from his partial-slumber. There was a member of Squad One approaching the Captain's office, and it seemed that the other captains were gathering in the office of the commander-general. So apparently Old-Man Kazu was having a meeting to discuss the Arrancar attack from the other day, and maybe some other stuff. Minoru noticed that many of the other captains were already there or on the way there. He decided not to hold them up any longer than he already had and got up out of his chair, heading towards the door leading out of his office. Along the way he stopped to examine a bubbling tank of a glowing clear-golden liquid which was some sort of tea. He turned down off the burner it was sitting on, poured himself a small glass of the liquid and sipped it.
"hhmm, not bad..." Minoru said aloud, before swigging the drink in his mouth for a few seconds, and then pulling a small flask of what appeared to be some sort of watery liquid and emptied it into the batch, stirred again, and put down the flask on the desk. He stepped outside the office and headed towards the meeting place, nodding at the man from Squad One in acknowledgment before he could drop to his knee and recite the message, but still the man dropped to his knee and recited the message as was procedure.
"Captain Daichi, sir! Captain Kazuma of Squad One and Commander-General of the Gotei 13 ha called a captain's meeting in his office and demands your attendance, sir!"
Minoru decided he'd better not waste any more time seeing as he knew several of the other captains to not be as patient as he was, and performed a series of flash steps. In very little time at all he was outside of Kazuma's office and entered the meeting room, standing next to a seat near the back of the room.
"Sorry I'm late, everyone," he began with a yawn, and sat down. "Lost track of time. It's a shame that all isn't well, or else this meeting wouldn't have been called now would it?"
He looked around the room, and it seemed that almost they weren't waiting on him after all, as a few other of the captains, Hizime, Kyo, Masaru, and Shinkei, were taking their time as well. He began to doze off a bit, but caught himself and instead just began to wait silently, appearing to be in a meditative state. He could wait for the others to show up, but at the same time he was a bit restless. These gatherings weren't ever just for fun and getting to know each other better, even if he in fact did learn pieces about his fellow younger captains with each encounter they had. He was uncertain of the circumstances of this meeting being called and that got on his nerves, but still he remained calm and waited quietly. There would be time for action to come but for now he would have to wait.

"Where is it?! Where is it?!" Kenshi rapidly tore apart his quarters in the 13th division. He was ripping up everything, everything in the room was upside down, flipped over. In short, everything was a mess. A few subordinates barged in to the room and looked around with a shocked look.
"C-captain..." One looked around the room with his mouth agape. The other, female, looked at the captain and frowned.
"What did you lose now?" She spoke casually.
"I can't find my shoe!" Kenshi spoke, exasperated. He had one of his odd slippers in his hand and the other on his right foot. The female looked him up and down, her brow furrowing.
"Uhhh, Captain?"
"It looks like this!! See!" Kenshi waved the shoe in his hand at the two."
"But Captain.... it's on your foot." The man shinigami spoke.
"Yes! I know! See!" Kenshi lifted up his right foot and waved it at them as his other shoe remained in his right hand.
"You're late for the meeting!" The girl pounced on Kenshi, knocking him over in his hurry. She took his right hand and shoved it in his face. She then grabbed his right foot and lifted to show him. Kenshi's head turned back and forth between the two.
"I'm late!" Kenshi slipped on the shoe and ran out the door. "You two clean up!" He yelled back as he rushed. The two turned to the room and looked into the mess. The male shinigami bent down and picked up a pair of boxers, obviously belonging to Kenshi. They had 13's all over them and written in blue marker on the inside waist band clearly printed "KAZAMA". The two looked at each other with blank expressions.
Kenshi silently creaked open the door. He wasn't completely late, yet. He slipped in and took his spot in the usual two lines that the captains stood in during the meetings. Minoru was just explaining himself. Kenshi stood with his face red. He seemed to be the last one there but Kenshi wasn't going to count everyone, he couldn't bare to look at everyone.
"Please excuse me... there was a large... complication... before I came. It was something that could absolutely not wait and was important to my day. So yes... my apologies..." Kenshi glanced around and figured everyone would want to know what happened.
"I forgot where I put my shoe...." That's all Kenshi could manage before looking down at his feet in embarrassment.

((OOC: In this arc we will assume the captain positions who are empty actually have members who have arrived, we simply won’t mention them. That way we don’t have to come up with an excuse for why they wouldn’t show up.))
Kazuma might have been in deep thought but he was still the Commander General and had snapped his head around before Yun had even pushed the door open. When the other man entered he smiled and gestured for the Captain to approach despite his inner turmoil. Yun had approached and just like the 10th Captain, Kazuma had been ready to speak when Chaos had suddenly appeared and interrupted. Nothing was said and Kazuma just smirked and shook his head as Yun dispatched him and Capricorn groaned inside his mind as if this was a normal interaction between the two. Both men dropped into a more serious stance though as the tone of the moment lifted and neither even needed to speak to understand what each other were thinking, they had been close friends for quite a while though and while both different they shared particular features. Yun had said exactly what he expected him too and Kazuma found himself glad to know others were thinking like him, not that he doubted it; just that it was good to hear.
Just as he was about to respond there came a wrapping on the door behind and both men froze and turned around to view the newcomer. As Hyo approached the Commander General returned his greeting while Yun simply pushed on his glasses once more, obviously finding something to fiddle with to satiate his impatience in waiting for an answer. Yun rolled his eyes at Hyo’s incompetence, for someone who led the Gotei 13 it was inexcusable to be unaware of the major occurrences within the realm. Even after he retracted the statement though Kazuma still appeared ready to answer, acting as if he didn’t even notice the fact that egged on Yun’s nerves.
“You are aware of the Arrancar that attacked here. Surely you have at least heard whisper that it was but a cover for several of our students to be removed while on training in the real world? But you are right, sit; we do a disservice to begin speaking before the others arrive.”
Soon after though the other captains began filing in at a rapid pace the first being Nekomi who entered rather silently followed by a similarly stoic Kisho and as always Kazuma addressed them both. Yun remained where he had been standing not so much as moving a muscle with his hands crossed as he continued to stare with unrivaled intensity at the place where Kazuma had been standing when talking to him. Hitotsu followed soon after and for the first time Yun took a break from his statue like stance to glare in the mans direction. Kazuma might have put up with his ways because they worked but Yun took every chance he got to see that the dishonorable and evil man was allotted less power. Still the large man took his spot silentely and things continued on in silence as they had before while they all patiently (or in some cases not so patiently) awaited the arrival of the rest. It was no surprise that Minoru was one of the few others who entered with a form of manners instead of just taking his seat and Kazuma nodded at his words.
“It is fine Minoru. Indeed, a tragedy but we will speak soon…let us wait just a bit longer.” As always he simply reworded what had been said before, not wishing to do the other captains wrong by no waiting for them.
Kenshi followed and Kazuma just shook his head at the Captains explanation while turning back around ((OOC: and Kenshi we sit in chairs here, this CG is more laid back we meet in his office)) as he proceeded to walk back past Yun. For the first time the initial atmosphere returned to the room and he glanced over his shoulder while giving his friend a stern look.
“I should think you know me better than that…no matter the course that is decided among the others you know where my heart goes. They shall not be left.”
He continued and took a seat at the head of the room as the remainder of the captains filtered in and took their seats. Apparently appeased by this Yun turned on heel and took a seat across from the Commander General. Many might think that being his close friend and advisor he might take a position at his right hand but Yun preferred to be directly across from him where he could look into his face and Kazuma would be forced to look into his. This not only served as a supporting sense but occasionally it was just good to be able to give an opinion silently across the room without alerting the others. With everyone here the room fell silent momentarily and Kazuma leaned forward in his chair while crossing one leg over the other and holding his hands in a ball before him. After making eye contact with each Captain he took a deep sigh and began.
“You all know why we are here, the attack by the arrancar…the attack by Espada no less. What some of you may or may not have found out was that yes, the rumors that several students were taken during a trip to the real world is indeed true. So it falls to us now, we cannot leave them and even if I had to do it myself I would retrieve them. But now where do each of your opinions lie in this? Do not be coy or try to appease me, let us hear the truth and should you have an answer as to their retrieval then that as well…”

Flash back There was nothing but vast, endless sheets of ice and snow, here at the very furthest points of the dimension that soul society lay in. She had journeyed first across the plains which reared up into the mountains, and then over their rocky spines until she reached the desert, which seemed to seamlessly fade away into the ice sheets. Even with her long distance shunpo it had taken several days, the distance was that great. But here at last, in her travelling furs and robe, she crouched at the foot of a massive snow shelf, certain in her mind that this was the spot, that this was the place she had travelled so long to arrive at. She started to dig into the snow, the only thing accompanying her efforts being the sound of the wind howling. Museimaru stirred, his majestic aura present, although he did not materialise directly. “Ahhh… the silence, the serenity and beauty of nature juxtaposed against such a harsh desolate landscape as this. Strangely it warms me. There is nothing here to disturb one, nothing here to interrupt the very essence of existence.” Despite the long journey and the blizzard now building up around her she felt an inner strength as Museimaru flexed his spiritual muscles in pleasure. She pushed on deeper into the snow, eventually hitting a hard surface underneath the softer white layers. Brushing away the last bits of snow, she smiled to herself. This was what she had been looking for, this is why she had travelled for so long. At that moment however, as if an audible scream had ripped through the silent snow wastes, she felt a sharp disturbing power. She looked up, then stood, trying to get a better baring with her senses on the power. If she pushed herself she could sense the dull monotonous swarm of powers to the south that was Sereitei, her fellow Captains’ reiatsu strong enough even to reach out here at unreleased levels. Stabbing through their shifting tones were two much clearer and obvious scents. ‘Arrancar…’ she whispered to herself. ‘In Soul Society?’ This was practically unheard of. And judging from the powers they were high level arrancar… Espada, perhaps even Vasto Lorde level arrancar, although it was difficult to ascertain from such extreme distances. Nonetheless they were high ranking. She turned, and her image flickered out of sight, leaving nothing but two footprints and a cloud of kicked up snow poweder. That which she had found could wait for now. She had the primary information anyway, and would report back to Kazuma-dono on her findings. She was all too aware of the fact that she, as Captain of the Third, the Guardians of the Gates of Sereitei, was absent, and without her Fukutaichou present either, the preliminary defences of Sereitei were as good as neutralised. Pushing her shunpo for all it was worth, she sped back towards Soul Society.
Mai’s image flickered into existence just in front of the main doors to Kazuma’s office, already bowed down on one knee, her head bent down, one hand in front of her on the floor and the other behind her back. She did not notice if any of the other captain’s stirred at her sudden appearance in the office. Still flustered and still sporting her travelling robes and furs, she had come straight to the office, knowing for sure that a meeting would be held to discuss whatever had happened. She had made the journey back in just under a day, and had followed closely the patterns of the reiats scents and their shifting statuses. Still, she knew when she sensed the two intrusive patterns disappear, and the rest of the powers lull and die down that she would be too late. “Please forgive my late arrival, Captain-Commander” she huffed sparsely, still trying to get back her breath and maintain a vague semblance of decorum at the same time. She moves silently to stand at the back of the group of captains gathered in their chairs in the centre of the office. She was fairly sure that Kazuma-dono would have no ill feelings towards her absence. After all, it was he who had initially sanctioned her leave in the first place, seemingly none to worried as their had been a lull in hollow activity recently, and that few ever actually made it to the gates of Sereitei anyway. Only she and the Captain Commander knew of her reasons, although she would hazard a guess that a few of the captains may have noted her absence, Hyo probably the most likely. But she was here now, and it seemed as if the meeting had only been in session for a few minutes, so she wasn’t terribly late, despite her somewhat unorthodox entrance.

(Sorry, might be a little short, since I'm running low on time tonight.)
Hyo watched as all the other Captains seemed to file in, but Mai had not yet arrived. In fact, Hyo had noticed a while ago that she had dissapeared. When he had asked, he had been told she went on a journey of some kind. What kind of journey, he could only guess. Back to the matter at hand.
He listened intently to the Commander-General, wanting to finally get to the bottom of all of this. Normally, he would of found out but again, he was busy trying to make sure the Espada didn't break through their defenses. That was first priority. The second was this. Of course he had heard a rumor or two, but he hadn't payed attention, or he was too busy to anyway. He was about to reply to the Kazuma's question when he felt a familiar reitsu. He turned just in time to see Mai shunshin into the room. He would of laughed had the situation not been serious.
He nodded in Mai's direction, not really caring at the moment if she saw it or not, and decided to get back to the matter at hand. "Sir, you know I would gladly charge in to save the students. The problem is that if we just rush in to save the students, we will leave Seireitei almost defensless against the Espada. I have faith in all of our soldiers, of course, but I do not believe even they could take on an onslaught of Hollows and Espada." Hyo of course did not even want to say this, but he had too. He leaned back, his point said. In life, his father had told him, "Occasionally you are going to have to argue the other side, no matter your standing.' And that was exactly what he was doing at the moment.
He knew though, that no matter what he said, the General would go, and if the General went, he would go as well. Maybe he could even rid the world of some of those Espada if he came along? Time would only tell though. He looked around the room quickly, hoping he had not made enemies in any of the other Captains for what he had to say.

Matano Nekomi kept her gaze fixed upon the tabletop in front of her as she listened to the Commander General’s address. Her visage showed no sign of emotion, though she did indeed feel heavily tied to the issues at hand. It was her vice captain who had led the relatively routine expedition with the children, after all. As Tarukane Sokou’s superior, she held herself just as accountable for their kidnapping as he would be. In truth, it was a blow to the girl’s ego that one of her best had been rendered incapacitated in the confrontation with the espada. She couldn’t be sure that she would have faired much better herself, though, given the information about the attacker that had come about in the aftermath.
The petite captain’s mind began to race as she considered all of the information, as little as it may have been, about the situation in which the members of the Gotei 13 now found themselves. It was clear that this entire scenario had been carefully orchestrated. It was not mere coincidence that had powerful foes knocking at the front gates as their shinigami-in-training were being taken from under their noses. This had all been done for a reason.
Nekomi had little reason to believe that the kids were taken simply for amusement or to torture and slay them in the depths of Hueco Mundo. No, there was something else amiss here. All indications pointed to a trap on the home turf of the enemy. It appeared clear that the people in this very room were being drawn out. Still, there was hardly any other choice but to go and rescue the students. They certainly couldn’t leave them where they were, but it was quite likely that at least some of those assembled here would not return. It was a direct assault upon Soul Society after all, and even as arrogant and idiotic as Nekomi believed the opposition to be, they were not the type to toy with the Gotei 13 without proper preparation and reason to believe that they would prevail.
She didn’t like the look of this at all. The girl fully anticipated that she would be on the front lines, as it was her job and specialty. Anticipation welled up in her mind at the thought of a battle of such epic proportions. She was well aware of the fact that she herself might perish in such a confrontation, but she’d be damned if she didn’t take a number of them down with her.
There was little evidence of all this mental preparation evident in the girl’s blank stare, of course. After a brief moment of pondering, Nekomi lifted her expressive, youthful gaze and stared the Commander General in the face. A smirk crossed her lips as she responded in a simple manner more befitting of her looks and reputation with a tone both matter-of-fact and mischievous.
“Well, they broke my vice captain into pieces. Someone will be paying for that.”

Kisho was unable to sit still. It seemed as if the other captions were taking their sweet time in showing up. They didn’t have time to sit around waiting on a few slow and lazy captions. This was a time of action. Yet it never accrued to him that others might be thinking the same, why should they. In Kisho’s eyes every thing was moving to slow. But the Commander interrupted his thoughts.
“You are aware of the Arrancar that attacked here. Surely you have at least heard whisper that it was but a cover for several of our students to be removed while on training in the real world? But you are right, sit; we do a disservice to begin speaking before the others arrive.”
Still we wait. It’s as if this is some lazy get together for tea. Surly the Commander understands the importance of a quick strike. Take them by surprise while they still are trying to get their act together. If we were to move now and take them when they were planning their next move then we could be in and out with the students before the Arrancar knew what hit them.
But now where does each of your opinions lie in this? Do not be coy or try to appease me, let us hear the truth and should you have an answer as to their retrieval then that as well…”
Ah. The time for action has come, but it is a bitter taste. The commander still wants to wait. Looking around the room Kisho gazed into the faces of his peers, the emotionless stares seemed to imprison all hope. But some one broke the silence.
"Sir, you know I would gladly charge in to save the students. The problem is that if we just rush in to save the students, we will leave Seireitei almost defensless against the Espada. I have faith in all of our soldiers, of course, but I do not believe even they could take on an onslaught of Hollows and Espada."
It was Hyo. Who else would see it that way? ”Hyo do you mean for us not to save our students. Do you want us to sit here and cower behind our walls? Or perhaps you don’t plan for us to do anything at all.” Kisho lashed back at him. How could he possibly want to stay here, when the future of Soul Society was being held hostage by its greatest enemy?
“Well, they broke my vice captain into pieces. Someone will be paying for that.”
Finally some sense and not surprising it was coming form Nekomi. Yet it lacked the power that Kisho had come to expect form her. It seemed as if even the most battle hungry stood stunned before the horrors that had come to pass.
”Yes Nekomi that is why we need to move now while they are unsure of there footing. If we allow them to do as if they wish who’s to say what they may do next. If we take our time in moving to action then their may not be any one left to save when we get there.” The harsh truth but it was needed now more then ever.
((Sorry it took so long but let the fun begin))

The Wind Master stirred as the meeting officially began. The words from the Captain-Commander troubled Arashi as the realization of the situation finally hit him. Thoughts of the probably frightened students flowed through his mind. Horrific images of possible torture soon followed. Arashi gritted his teeth in frustration, before calming himself and finally speaking up. "If I may Kazuma-Dono..." Arashi leaned forward, placing his elbows on his knees, and forming an arch with his fingers. His breath came in evened lengths, calculated to have the most efficient flow of air into his lunges as he would need the air for the explanation of the distant, yet possibly idea his mind was brewing. "Most obviously we must retrieve the Students. However, you are forgetting the fact that we are dealing with the Espada here. We can not just barge into Hueco Mundo, they will be alerted to our presence immedietly." Arashi balled his fingers into a fist, and placed it on his lips, as he cleared his throat. He returned the hand to the steepled formation it was in before continuing. "However, I believe, with help from Division 12, 10, and 5; I can form a gateway into the very heart of Hueco Mundo using my kidou skills. If it works, it would give us the advantage of surprise as we wouldn't be detected right away." He glanced at Yun, showing him a grim expression. The expression was appologetic, as if Arashi was blaming himself for not helping Captain Saigotschuu. And in thinking so, he felt it was his responsibility to help get the students back as soon as possible.
Arashi turned back towards the Captain-Commander, clearing his throat before continuing. "If Minoru can collect data on the arrival of the Arrancar, I believe I can use it to replicate the Reietsu signature used by their Gateways. However, it will take a lot of work reguardless of what happens. But I believe with the assistance of Minoru, Yun, and Hyo...We can..." The young Captain trailed off, as if he started to think the other Captains doubted the far fetched idea. He looked down, silence engulfing his words. He even started to doubt the possibility of such a phenomenon being possible. The Young Captain couldn't blame them though...it wasn't all that great of an idea. Why can't I just... Arashi clenched his fists together, a wave of frustration overcoming his features as he pondered the impossibility of the situation. The Espada were beings that only the Captain-Commander truly was able to surpass flawlessly. And even then the Espada Royals were a match for the strongest of the Gotei 13. The Wind Master found the entire ordeal hopeless, never before had the normally exuberent Captain felt such a heavy weight on his chest which silenced his usual cheer. Finally after several long seconds he glanced up at Kazuma. Searching for any hope in his wizened face.
