After being acknowledged by Kazuma, Minoru waited as Kenshi and Mai showed up later. The captain of Squad Twelve listened intently as everyone began to speak up and give their opinions but very little progress was made so far. Hyo had a point that any rescue attempt would be too dangerous for most off their subordinates to attempt as the armies of Heuco Mundo consisted of infinite hollows and the Espada, which as was pointed out by Nemoki were strong enough to defeat even one of the most powerful of the vice-captains with ease. Also Kisho had a good point that if they didn't make a move with haste then who knows what the arrancar might do to the hostages, again, this was important to consider but it didn't actually provide any insight on how they should go about a rescue mission. Minoru rubbed his eyes and slightly groaned seeing that this meeting was going little-to-nowhere at this rate.
Suddenly Arashi, who seemed nervous, began something interesting. Minoru enjoyed listening to what his young comrade had come up with, a portal into Hueco Mundo that mimicked the Hollow's Garganta ability. To infiltrate the arrancar's capital of Las Noches undetected, they'd need all the resources of Squads 7, 10 and 12 could spare.
"It's definitely possible," Minoru spoke out loud, looking paticualrly at Kazuma and Arashi. "I already have some of my men collecting data on the rifts used during the Espada assault in Rukongai, and have begun studying how the portals were created, where they lead to, and just how powerful the Espada were who attacked." Minoru trailed off for a moment, looking at Yun and resumed his speech. "I am sure that the researchers in Squad Ten have also conducted similar studies on the portals used to kidnap the students in the living world."
He paused again, rubbing his forehead for a moment.
"I believe that the Espada who attacked us were among the most powerful of their ranks, at least ranked 4 or higher but maybe higher, and hopefully not lower. I also believe that it would be prudent if we were to develop some sort of seal in order to conceal our presence to the enemy for as long as possible even after entering Las Noches."
Minoru waited for anyone to respond, expecting Yun to say something given his Squad Ten's proposed involvement in the ordeal.

Standing to the rear of the office making no noise and not really drawing much attention at all (apart from a nod of acknowledgement from Hyo), Mai had slipped her travelling robes and furs off and set them neatly in a pile on the floor behind her next to a book case. Mai recalled when she had first felt the reiatsu spikes alter all those many miles from sereitei. Nekomi was right, these beings were fearsome indeed and not to be underestimated. However, from he past experience, as well as her philosphical studies into the nature behind her own favoured forms of hakuda and hand combat, strength could be negated by speed and precision. It was with this take on thematter that she silently agreed with Arashi's proposal, although she saw him initially look around when he first mentioned it, expecting to be defied or decried. Whilst she was aware that her late arrival had put her in a tender position, as far as her input was concerned this was a captain's meeting after all, and the topic very serious.
"Personally, whilst we are yet to make a decision, I do not believe the 'hostages' are in any danger. They themselves are a symbol, and this symbol as the Arrancar's challange to us. They are the gauntlet that has been thrown down, and while we are yet to move, the Arrancar will not harm their cards on the table." Every maternal fibre in her was shouting outrage at the debasement of students to a metaphorical and symbolic level, but it was necesserry to understand that they did have a degree of time within which to decide what to do. "When we do act, it is then that we must be swift and precise, for it is as soon as we act that the Arrancar may choose to cast aside their hostages, their purpose as bait being served. More internal cries of outrage.
"In reference to Arashi-kun's suggestion, and via that in regard's to Minoru-san further points, I am in agreeance. I beleive the Senkaimon gate structure itself may even be of use to us. Recent discussions and tests between myself and Minoru-san's technology beareau have confirmed that it would in fact be possible to alter the molecular spiritual make up of the passages created from the gates origin point, in a similar way to how we can set the destination coordinates for anywhere into the living realm, we can essentially sideshift those coordinates into the alternate hollow dimension, however it will still take much work and alot of experimenting before we can even begin to have any degree of accuracy once that sideshift has been made. There are several further benefits that the Senkaimon can offer over attempting to construct an origin gateway in freespace. The spiritual pathways of the Senkaimon are already structurally sound, and so there would be less effort in attempting to maintain the path through to Heuco Mundo, although again further analysis will be required by Minoru-san to establish how structurally sound it would be once the sideshift is made.
She turned to the middle aged captain and smiled warmly at him, closing her eyes, "It looks like you may be about to become a very busy man Daichi-Taishou, aha..."

Kazuma sat with one leg crossed over the other and made no movement the entire time though he occasionally gave a nod at the appropriate moment. However he showed no real interest until Arashi spoke, the first to give thought on an actual plan and not simply give brash fire in wanting to make the hollows pay. He gave an approving smile when the younger and more timid man locked up a bit around his peers but the seeds of thought had been spread to the point where Minoru and Mai began plotting alone. Kazuma made no effort to stop them, happy to see that he was not the only one with interest in this matter. When they had wrapped up he stood once more and turned to Yun who had the lower part of his face buried in his hands and was staring at the floor, Kazuma watched quizzically but continued speaking slowly to the others. “Well then…why don’t you all get together…” he finally stopped completely and turned to Yun, “My boy in all our years together there is only one time when you put a look like that on, so what do you know that you are not telling?” Yun pulled out of his inner thought, turned toward the Commander General and gave a quick glance around the other captains. He fiddled with the long sleeve of his shirt as he stood up and seemed to be searching for something to stare at. Everyone here knew Yun and everyone knew that out of them all Yun was one of the best public speakers, for him to worry about saying something meant that there wasn’t just something small being hidden here. He knew something that was about to change the way the world worked. “Minoru Taichou is certainly right.” He reached inside his jacket and drew a piece of paper and walked over toward the other captain while holding it out, “These are the readouts from the hollow that appeared in the real world but I don’t even need to show you that to tell you she was a leader for she bore a large three directly on her cheek. The third strongest in her order, it only makes sense that the two that were here covering for her would be her superiors in power…” “Bravo!” Kazuma said in a mock voice before a serious and almost dark aura took his form and he spoke in a monotone, “Now stop stalling, what do you know?” Yun rubbed the back of his neck and didn’t turn to Kazuma just yet as if still mulling it over in his brain. After a long moment he turned to his superior and let out a sigh but right at that moment an aura hit the room like a brick wall. An aura that rarely appeared, that for the first time showed why it received it’s namesake, a small black kitten was standing in the chair where Yun had been sitting with its back arched and its eyes glowing blood red. The three kittens were probably the most uninhibited of the Captains zanpaktous and seeing them appear to have their say was nothing new but few people, even the other captains, had ever truly seen Chaos real form. They were used to seeing him act more like a juvenile jackoff with a bad sense of sarcasm than some sort of evil manifestation of Yuns powers…chances were it took about one look for all of that to go out of the window. It wasn’t so much how he looked as he was still no more than a kitten but rather how he felt…and he felt like pure emptiness…like pure chaos. “ DON’T YOU DARE!!!!” he boomed in a deep otherworldly voice “ That is OUR knowledge, nobody else’s! Tenth Division STANDS ALONE doesn’t it? Isn’t that our claim? You want to tell the old man then do it but don’t even think about letting these NOBODIES in on our accomplishments! ITS OURS, OUR OWN!” “ Shut up Chaos! We stand alone when we can but this isn’t about us anymore, this is no cake walk, those children need everyone if they are going to be saved!” Tranquility appeared staring holes through Chaos who returned the glare, then both of them went up in puffs of smoke and Peace appeared, by this time Yun was rolling his eyes. “ I apologize they both broke past my barrier…” she sighed a little, “ But if I was going to give my opinion I would say this is useless. Let the children go, three students are hardly worth the losses a full assault on Hueco Mundo would cost us…but, if I were to go like some irrational idiot I know then I would use whatever I had at my disposal to speed up the process.” With that she turned around and began to fade away. “How long did that take you three to rehearse Peace?” Yun yelled out, the whole silly situation pulling him out for a moment. “ Rehearse? W-whatever are-you-talking about….eeehhhh he--eh?” she said thoroughly unconvincingly as she disappeared. Yun once again shook his head but upon returning his gaze to the Commander General straightened up. This time Kazuma did not look in the least bit amused by the kitten’s game and from his stance Yun was guessing that he had been figured out. So he braced himself and opened his mouth. “The Black Tower and Lunar Gate were put into action a month ago…” he said with little of the vibrato he usually held when speaking to a large group. There was a period of silence and then a harsh snap filled the air before Kazuma turned around and walked back toward his chair. Yun stood as still as he had before, not taking the time to touch his face where the other man had just slapped him. A man with less kindness might have gone farther but Kazuma just let his anger fume out on his chair as he silently kicked it lightly as they both left the other captains in a confused silence for a moment. Kazuma eventually turned around and pointed at Yun with a deathly glare in his eyes. “I forbid you from it!” “I know.” Yun said blankly, knowing full well the extent of what had been done. “We both know what it could have done!” “I know.” “YOU COULD HAVE KILLED EVERYONE!!!” “…the proprietary technology was tested in the real world…” Yun tried to cover up for a moment. “YOU ALSO PUT HUMANS AT RISK!!! ” “It was in a desolate and confined place.” He assured Kazuma. “I cannot let this go Yun, when this is over there will be hell to pay…” “I know.” Kazuma stared at the tenth captain for a little bit more before he took a seat in his chair once more and following that Yun rounded about and returned to his seat as well. Kazuma sat in silence for a bit more while tapping his foot on the ground before a measure of his civility returned and he recomposed himself. He closed his eyes for a few moments and then glanced back at Yun. “How many people will it take?” “Up to twenty.” Kazuma laughed, “That’s not hardly enough and you know it my boy.” “True but put myself and Nekomi as well as a few of our best through while Arashi, Minoru and my own gate specialist lock on to the position and we can open a Senkaimon direct to the location.” What he spoke of should have been becoming abundantly clear by this point. “I wonder if it will really be so simple…?” Kazuma shot his way. “It will. Imagine if you will a locked door, if nobody is home and you want inside badly enough you have to use all your force to break it down. But put someone on the other side and it’s as simply as turning the lock…a bad metaphor but you get the idea.” “And you can assure me of its safety?” “There is no doubt Commander General. It has already proven itself several times.” Kazuma looked on the verge of growing angry again but stifled the reaction when he glanced over the rest of the captains. “Fine…have your people prepare it.” “They already are.” Yun said sounding like his confident self once more, Kazuma turned back to the others once more and seeing a few still confused faces in the group he spoke. “Once one of Saigotchuu Taichous elite chased a hollow through it’s rend in space. In chasing it he found that the path was exceptionally short compared to many of the paths hollows walk, so much so that it could barely be called a swap in dimensions. This path is called the Lunar Path…mostly because Yun likes to give things fancy name. Yun was originally creating a large structure known as the Black Tower to provide his Division with instant Senkaimon access to the real world since speed is often the key with his division…I approved these real world Senkaimon seeing the job that his division must accomplish. I am assuming that instead…or at the very least along with these he created an alternate path, the Lunar Gate which utilizes the Lunar Path…SOMETHING I DID NOT APPROVE OF!!!!” he yelled at Yun letting the man know he wasn’t getting off easy, he coughed once and continued. “The problem with the Lunar Path is that the barrier between dimensions is so small at this point that when opening it you don’t actually create a path…you actually transpose dimensions and therein lies the danger. One could as easily bring Hueco Mundo to Soul Society or vice versa as they could transport a small group, it would take only a small error to create a rift that could grow exponentially without any way to stop it. But…for the day I shall not take action on this grievous crime…today we will rely on what is at hand to move with haste. This will take two sides, one as the shield and one as the sword, once the portal is open we cannot close it or we risk losing our link with Hueco Mundo and those we send over. So while some will retrieve the students still others will need to protect who is here” He looked them over, obviously plotting in his mind. “Nekomi it is as Yun says, please pull together ten of your best and organize them at Tenth Division HQ to go through the Lunar Gate with him. Minoru you will accompany them to Hueco Mundo, the last thing we need is someone inexperienced causing a problem when trying to help us get a lock, just leave us with your best technicians on this end. Mai prepare to raise a Senkaimon on Tenth Division HQ’s main street…should the worst come we want it in a place that is easily defendable and made to push an enemy back. Hyo you will work with Mai and prepare immediate surrounding defenses, Tenth is built like a fortress and could be held for quite a while but we need defenses directly on and around the Senkaimon so with any luck any attempt to venture to our side can be thwarted immediately. Kisho and Hitotsu, while Nekomi and Yun shall be our vanguard you shall be the supplemental force. Kisho prepare whoever you think qualified and when the time comes, go through, stay in the shadows and give the horrors their own nightmares. The same goes for you Hitotsu but as should be obvious you shall provide the violent cover for Kishos troops to disappear and prepare their strikes. Arashi yours will be split up into two units, several will go in and provide long distance cover during the supplemental stage while the rest will remain and stay on defense of the open Senkaimon with Hyos troops. The rest will meet at Tenth Division, bring your best and prepare for more orders. That’s all, we have the will and we have the power, there’s no more reason to go slow on this. I wish you all luck.”

Though Matano Nekomi continued to hear what was being said, she had little to add. She could see where this discussion was heading well before directions were given. She knew exactly what part she would play. It wasn’t her forte or her gift to come up with the method in which she would be given access to Hueco Mundo to execute her task, but she was confident that some of the others here had such knowledge and could come up with a feasible process. That was essentially why they were here, after all. Each captain with his or her specialty would have to work together if this hasty arrangement was to have any chance of success.
Already the young girl had begun listing a number of names in her mind, as well as various supplies they would require for the onslaught. Her very most trusted and talented warriors would be assembled at her side to rain destruction upon the very heart of Hueco Mundo. It was a thought that made a smile tug at the edges of her lips. As a leader, she was thrilled at the thought of giving them access to such a battlefield, though she also felt quite protective about those under her supervision. Still, they knew what they were getting into when they joined. The Eleventh Division was legendary for a reason. Her subordinates yearned to experience a moment like this.
It wasn’t until Yun began to speak once more that Nekomi’s attention was focused again on the happenings in the room. Little kittens with big mouths began to appear and disappear in Yun’s vicinity, speaking to him and to one another with rather authoritative tones. Nekomi was well aware of the manifestation of Yun’s zanpakuto, and wasn’t much surprised to see the little felines, though the black one (her favorite) was acting quite different today. Usually he called people names and screamed obscenities. He did no such thing and his voice and posture was distinctly more… evil. Nekomi liked him even better. He looked very much like an angry miniature version of her own zanpakuto’s spirit, after all. How could he not be her favorite?
The girl watched with amusement as the kittens spoke their minds and disappeared, though mention of the “Black Tower and Lunar Gate” by Yun caused her attention to shift in his direction. What was more intriguing than the mere mention of the two phenomena was Kazuma’s reaction to Yun’s words. Spurred by instinct, the girl’s grip around the stick in her hands tightened. The muscles in her legs and back began to stiffen as though she was about to rocket out of her chair and step in between Yun and Kazuma. It wasn’t really her style to break up a fight, of course, but given the current situation, even she recognized that this was neither the time nor place for a brawl. She was about half of a blink away from forcing her way between both of the men.
Kazuma managed to contain himself just as he struck his comrade. Yun made no motion of retaliation, and thus Nekomi allowed herself to settle back into her seat somewhat. She listened to their debate with slightly raised eyebrows. It was interesting, infuriating, and confusing all at the same time. She wasn’t exactly an expert on travel in between Soul Society, the living world, and Hueco Mundo, so some of the details didn’t make perfect sense to Nekomi. She certainly had the gist of things, however.
She’d already had her game plan when she was finally addressed by her Commander General. She nodded in understanding as a smile swept across her face. Her gaze turned in the direction of the nearest window as Kazuma directed the others. As he finished his closing statement, the girl slipped down from her chair and stepped in the direction of the window. As she suspected, she could clearly see a handful of her subordinates in the courtyard talking (or…well… probably trying to out-brag one another). Though she was barely tall enough to see over the windowsill, she pushed the window open using her trusty stick.
“HEY!” she yelled, trying to get their attention. They paused in their socializing for a moment, thinking that they’d heard their captain’s voice, though after a thorough look around, they dismissed it as a figment of their imaginations.
Nekomi placed her fingers to her lips and let out an ear-piercing whistle. This time they heard loud and clear. Standing straight and glancing up in her direction, the Eleventh Squad members awaited her orders (though they could really only see the top portion of her head through the window).
“Code Two,” Nekomi hollered. Each of her subordinates’ eyes widened at her statement. It wasn’t so much that they didn’t understand, but rather that they didn’t believe what she’d just said. “NOW!” she added with more than a hint of seriousness in her tone. At that, they scattered, leaving only small clouds of dust in their wake.
Nekomi turned back to the other captains, who had undoubtedly heard her inexplicable order to her soldiers outside. She gave them a friendly smile as she shrugged her shoulders.
“Division Eleven is assembling now. They’ll all be prepared for battle in a matter of minutes. I’ll bring a select few with me, and the rest will be stationed around Soul Society to provide support and aid in defense, should it be necessary.”
Her words were not the typical playful childish musings that Captain Matano usually used. They were, for once, serious and professional. She had a clear plan painted in her mind already. She knew exactly where her subordinates would be placed and what they were to do. Despite her generally chaotic nature, she had prepared ahead of time for circumstances like this, and trained her division to be ready at any given moment with a simple code phrase. It was likely that most of her comrades in this room would never have suspected such readiness from a crazy little gal like her.
“Oh…” she continued with a broadening grin. She noted the confused look on some of her comrades faces. Guessing that they might be considering what would be more important than this ‘code two’ in her book, she explained. “Code One means that I’ve lost my stick,” she giggled as she held her infamous staff aloft. Though… there had never been a code one declared by the petite captain. Her divisionmates often joked that Seireitei would collapse if such a thing were to happen.
She made little effort to hurry out the door. She was well aware that she could make it back to her division’s headquarters in a matter of moments, though there was really no point, as she had to give her soldiers a bit of time to assemble. She was counting on the fact that they would do so as quickly as possible or face some rather unpleasant consequences. Besides, she couldn’t help but feel obligated to stick around for a little longer, just in case she really did have to smack some sense into Yun and Kazuma.

Something was up. It wasn’t like Yun to be so evasive. Indeed there was something going on in the inner workings of Soul Society, and the truth was about to be released from its cage. He was stalling. A new trick for Yun. It wasn’t like him to try to ovoid speaking, and yet now, when they needed action rather that words, he was stalling. As he sighed and seemed to give up holding back, that awe inspiring aura hit. That kitten, Chaos’s real form. This was a rare site, and it only met that something big was going on. “DON’T YOU DARE!!!!” it boomed in a deep otherworldly voice “That is OUR knowledge, nobody else’s! Tenth Division STANDS ALONE doesn’t it? Isn’t that our claim? You want to tell the old man then do it but don’t even think about letting these NOBODIES in on our accomplishments! ITS OURS, OUR OWN!”O this was getting very interesting. Sense when does the Tenth have something to hide. “Shut up Chaos! We stand alone when we can but this isn’t about us anymore, this is no cake walk, those children need everyone if they are going to be saved!”Then Yun said something that even surprised Kisho “The Black Tower and Lunar Gate were put into action a month ago…”And here he thought the 13th would be the ones to kill them all. Although Kazuma did punish Yun with a laps of control. It still wouldn’t be enough, this was a very big problem. Kisho had only herd whispers of the so called tower and gate, and none of it was pleasant. And as if reading his mind the Commander lashed back. “I forbid you from it!” “I know.”“We both know what it could have done!”“I know.”“YOU COULD HAVE KILLED EVERYONE!!!”“…the proprietary technology was tested in the real world…”And so the truth comes out. “YOU ALSO PUT HUMANS AT RISK!!!”“It was in a desolate and confined place.”I bet it was Kisho smirked “I cannot let this go Yun, when this is over there will be hell to pay…”“I know.”This was begging to get fun. Yun was not known for doing things behind everyone’s back, after all that was Kisho’s job, but even so this toped the list of both stupid things to do, as well as most hidden. The jabber that followed proceeded to explain how and why but Kisho had lost interest after the really bad metaphor. “It will. Imagine if you will a locked door, if nobody is home and you want inside badly enough you have to use all your force to break it down. But put someone on the other side and it’s as simply as turning the lock…a bad metaphor but you get the idea.”Although he did snap to when the Commander started yelling again. ‘SOMETHING I DID NOT APPROVE OF!!!!” It seemed as if Yun was in for the ride of his life. This will take two sides, one as the shield and one as the sword, once the portal is open we cannot close it or we risk losing our link with Hueco Mundo and those we send over. So while some will retrieve the students still others will need to protect who is here”Then it came the moment he was waiting for, action.

I wish you all luck.”Give the horrors their own nightmares, Kisho liked the sound of that, but he and his squad were ready before this stupid meeting was called. Now all that was left was to wait for the others to catch up. But already Nekomi was having problems. ”Code two” her squad members stared back in horror ”NOW” it seemed as if someone commanded respect from their squads in times of need. ”“Division Eleven is assembling now. They’ll all be prepared for battle in a matter of minutes. I’ll bring a select few with me, and the rest will be stationed around Soul Society to provide support and aid in defense, should it be necessary.” One less to wait on. Kisho was already making his way back to his squad when he heard her remark about code one being her losing her stick. An evil grin spread across his face. He would have to remember to swipe her stick after all this was over with. ((Sorry it took so long))

Hitotsu groaned inwardly from his seated position. All this redundant back and forth was really getting on his last nerve. There was no point to discuss the inevitable or to weigh the options or hear the cowardly concerns of those worrying about safety on a battlefield. Ridiculous. Why they should be worried if the espada knew of their presence was beyond him. The ninth division captain was only interested in the opportunity to become slick with the blood of his enemies. Yes, he would make the black skies of Las Noches take on a crimson hue. That is, if everyone else was done playing tea party.
Truly had it not been for Yun's zanpakutou manifesting and radiating with an aura so closely resembling his own, Hitotsu would have stood up and explained to them that the world as he saw it only works one way. The weak die, trampled underfoot of those truly deserving of glory, those who were truly strong. But with the melodrama of his zanpakuto finished Yun began to speak of a plan. A plan that Kazuma was furious with him for even suggesting let alone implement.
This may get good after all, If Kazuma-dono is that angry and Saigotchuu has so blatantly broken the laws upheld by Seireietei then perhaps Yun will be coming to visit me. I think I'll let Laetitia have first crack at him. Hitotsu thought to himself. A devious smile crossing his countenance.
As he gleefully envisioned Yun,along with everyone else present in the process of achieving ninth divisions unique brand of tranquility. It was a pleasing and recurring fantasy of his. One he would like to see come to fruition one by one. When Yun was struck by a resounding slap, Hitotsu went on edge waiting for anything to happen. If even one of the members present stepped out of line he would cleave them in two. Unfortunately not one of them did, not even Yun himself which was not surprising but was disheartening.
Yun went ahead with Kazuma's permission and explained about the lunar path and black tower. After explaining the ins and outs of their purpose, individual squad assignments were given out by Kazuma.
"Kisho and Hitotsu, while Nekomi and Yun shall be our vanguard you shall be the supplemental force. Kisho prepare whoever you think qualified and when the time comes, go through, stay in the shadows and give the horrors their own nightmares. The same goes for you Hitotsu but as should be obvious you shall provide the violent cover for Kishos troops to disappear and prepare their strikes."
Hitotsu had no problems with this mission assignment although he believed that he should've been sent in with the first wave instead of one of the underlings to ensure success. But he could hardly argue, he would soon see enough action to satiate his blood lust. At least for a little while. With nothing more to say on the matter, Hitotsu rose from his seat as Nekomi was off yelling out the window to her squad. He made a slight bow towards Kazuma and proceeded to use his shunpo to disappear from the meeting and reappear back in 9th division.Shortly after he had appeared, Hitotsu was approached by Judeau and the blond looked at him inquisitively, awaiting orders.
"Judeau" He spoke. "Fetch Laetitia and Zodd for me. Tell them they are to gear up and come immediately and if Laetitia's assistant is there. Get him too."
Not wanting to incur the wrath of his captain, Judeau swiftly went off to deliver the messages. Just the thought of the four of them in one place made Judeaus nauseous. By far these four were the most terrifying in all of soul society. And for them all to be needed in one place made his blood run cold as if a bucket of ice water coursed through his veins.
"This can't be good" Judeau said aloud as he went to Zodd's quarters first since it was the closest and informed him of their masters wishes before leaving the main division building and making his way towards the basilica of torments in which resided his Vice captain to do the same.

Arashi was relieved that his idea was taken, and then further modified and reinforced to be better applied to the situation rather then it be tossed off as a bad idea. He didn't like the idea of feeling useless, not in the slightest. Kazuma then went on to issue out orders to all who were gathered. 10th and 11th Division were to prepare there finest warriors to go through the gate. Then the Commander-General came to Arashi. "Arashi yours will be split up into two units, several will go in and provide long distance cover during the supplemental stage while the rest will remain and stay on defense of the open Senkaimon with Hyos troops." The Wind Master nodded and vanished with a small breeze flowing through the room in his wake.
Arashi reappeared in the center of his troops. He turned towards his Vice Captain who was doing some work. "Iko...gather up the best long range combatants we have. And split them into two groups, I will be doing the same for the close quarters specialists..." His expression grew somber. "We'll get those students back...no exception." The two looked at each other and briefly nodded before parting ways to gather up the 7th Division and prepare them for war.

Amazing. Simply amazing. Minoru had always suspected that the Tenth Squad might get out hand with it's secret and independent research separate from the Shinigami Research Institute and Minoru also was aware of the theory of the Lunar Path, but never had the aged captain ever expected that Yun would be so careless as to actually put the project into practice. Still, he could help but feel a tad bit envious that he'd managed to construct the Black Tower and test the Lunar Path in the human world in absolute secret.
"So damn careless," Minoru sighed quietly. "No regard to the safety of the universe."
He hushed up as he heard Kazuma issue the battle plan.
"...Minoru you will accompany them to Hueco Mundo, the last thing we need is someone inexperienced causing a problem when trying to help us get a lock, just leave us with your best technicians on this end,"
Oh-oh! Minoru was not expecting this pleasant turn of events, he would be accompanying the direct assault led by Nekomi. This could prove useful for his studies on the arrancar if he could capture one alive before Nekomi's men could kill everything that moves.
Minoru got up and made his leave. He quietly made his way outside of the Commander General's office and hastily returned to his own base operations at the Squad 12 headquarters, and the giant neighboring facility that was the Shinigami Research Institute. As he entered the large facility, he nodded as he was welcomed by passing subordinates and he briskly made his way to a large elevator platform which took him to the fifth floor and exited into a large hallway that connected the Shinigami Research Institute to the formal headquarters of Squad 12. From there he reached his own office again and proceeded towards his desk.
Stopping at the desks in the middle of his large office, he once again took a sip of his batch of tea, this time now with what turned out to be a form of weak alcohol. He swallowed, and took a heavy breath.
"Mmm, better," he hummed as he turned around and took a seat in front of his giant computer system and opened a communications channel through both Squad 12 and the S.R.I. facility. "Main screen turn on."
The giant computer began to hum and light up as within the next minute his face was on several dozen large screens throughout the the two buildings accompanied with his orders.
"Good day everybody," the Captain and Chief Director began. "In the light of recent events unforeseen, an emergency situation has been issued by the Captain of Squad 1 and Commander-General of the Gotei 13, and I require your full cooperation and understanding for what I am about to tell you."
He explained that the recent Espada attack in Rukongai was a front to distract us from the kidnapping of Academy students and very briefly summarized the 'important facts' discussed during the captain's meeting while omitting the classified information as well as the true nature of Squad 10's 'accident.'
"I will require all seated officers ranked 10 or higher to meet within my office immediately to discuss more classified information regarding the operation. The rest of you must proceed as emergency protocol dictates, all personal projects and research are to be put on hold until further notice unless absolute necessary. That is all for now, I will keep you all updated as the situation changes."
Minoru cut the communication with that, and took a seat at his desk at the very end of the large room facing the doorway. Within the next few minutes, the seated officers of Squad 12 entered into their captain's office and took seats in front of the desk. Captain Daichi explained more of the situation to his loyal subordinates. He could sense a sense of shock from some, disgust in others, and even some a sense of amusement that one might read as 'heh, those Squad 10 losers finally got what was theirs.' Minoru couldn't help but hold back a smile, but also had to reassert the severity of the situation.
After a brief mission summary, Minoru ordered his seated officers ranked 10 to 3 to assemble in the command room on the top floor of the S.R.I. facility and his lieutenant to oversee regular operations of the Squad 12 and the S.R.I.
"That is all for now, dismissed!"
"Yes sir!"
Meanwhile at the headquarters of Squad Seven, Iko was rather concerned when she had heard the rumors of the children from the Academy being kidnapped during the earlier attack which Aijou-Taichou-dono, Kyuettaru-Taichou-dono, and Azuka-kun had tangled with members of the Espada. She knew that Captain Mouretsu-dono was very distressed by the incident and she was worried that he would be under lots of pressure to help fix the scenario. She knew she'd be best to not dwell on it and get back to her job as the vice-captain.
She cranked up the music she had playing in the background, some sort of popular band from the real world that she bought the CD to listen to while crossing back to Soul Society to help ease her own freight of the dark passage between the worlds. She sang the lyrics quietly to herself quietly and found herself almost dancing as she moved around the office gathering paperwork and filing boring reports.
She almost lost track of time when the captain showed up and gave his orders from the Commander-General regarding the meeting and the kidnapping. She quickly turned down the music as he began speaking.
"Iko...gather up the best long range combatants we have. And split them into two groups, I will be doing the same for the close quarters specialists..." His expression grew somber. "We'll get those students back...no exception."
Iko was glad to hear that they were going to partake in the mission to rescue the children. She felt it would be the best thing to do, the life and safety of those children would be of absolute importance to the Gotei 13.
"Yes, sir!" She sternly responded, and went to round up the squad's best masters of kido, anyone able to cast spells at level 60 or higher without an incantation.

Kazuma made his hands into the form of a triangle and leaned his face into it while silently watching the Captains disperse to their selected duties. Yun stood before him for a while, he knew what he did was right but also knew that it was better to wait for the Commander General to release him. He doubted he would be heavily punished, they had been through worse arguments before and if they saved the children…or, he thought to himself…when they saved the children most of what had transpired would be forgotten. Still at this moment in time it would be disrespectful and only earn him a higher level of Kazumas ire to walk away. Kazuma meanwhile broke momentarily from his stoic sentinel visage to make a smirk at Nekomis actions. After it was just the three of them left he turned his attention to the young captain.
“Don’t fear dear, me and Saigotschuu Taichou have been having squabbles over his over propensity to not listen to a word I say before you were even born.” He gave her a big smile at this and motioned gently for her to leave, it was a simple thing but in the situation she should have realized it was a stern order.
He kept the smile on his face until she left, he didn’t immediately change but he did not look at all happy. Still it was obvious he had lost some of the fire that had raged in him before and now he was simply regarding the situation. After a long period he spoke but not in or of the manner you might have expected.
“You promise to retrieve the children?” He said simply.
“I give you my word.” Yun replied earnestly.
“Good…I would not dare try to rule over the other Captains by proclaiming a leader but you are to keep watch. Before they leave all the captains will know that if you call a retreat it is to be obeyed immediately…I still trust your instincts under those terms.” He was sounding gentler now though he still seemed steely underneath.
The door opened behind them and Yun turned around to see two figures walking in. One was the man he had spoken with earlier Kuatura Katayama, the other was that mans brother Kaiba, while he had more dealings with Kuatura since they were of like mind he still knew the brother to be of skill. He imagined both of them had been called back to round up members from the First Division just like the rest. He turned back to Kazuma who was eyeing them both happily as he rose to his feet. Both of the men came to each of Yun’s sides and kneeled down to their commander.
“Sir what is the problem? We were told to return on a priority one?” Kaiba asked looking up at Kazuma before both men rose back to their feet.
Kazuma looked at each of them and then back at Yun, finishing what he had been saying.
“I will be remaining here on the defensive end; the security of Soul Society is my duty no matter my personal feelings about wanting to save the children. Regardless I will be sending several members in your advanced team, Kuatura and Kaiba shall join you but before that I wonder if you might help me with a duty…as a friend?”
-------------------------------------
Yun walked down the long road to his division, it was almost like a parade route surrounded by tons of flat fields being on the empty and underused east side of Seireitei. This was in compliment to the Crypts already near impenetrable defenses, allowing one to see an enemy coming for miles before they could reach the surrounding walls of the Crypt. While the road didn’t look like much at the moment its almost twenty lanes of concrete lined by hundreds of poles that could fly divisional banners showed the grandiose tone Yun had been developing over the years. He silently knew that all of this, even the Crypt itself would soon be eclipsed by the awe inspired when the Black Tower became public knowledge. Nobody outside of the Tenth Division members of the project knew its true nature and they had not been allowed out of the structure since its construction, regardless one look at the title gave a glimpse of the possibilities. Where the structure was hidden though…well now that was just a secret the others would have to find out for themselves.
As he walked down the long road he looked around and spotted that several divisions were showing up, he would address them shortly but first had to brief his own people. As he approached the large white wall that sported a singular red door leading to the Crypt he considered what he would do. While pride had him wanting to take the prize he realized that if there was one person he trusted to help him effectively without stealing knowledge for themselves it was Nekomi, so her presence was welcome. She and ten others would take eleven seats when they transferred into the path. Minoru on the other hand was not so welcome but with Kazumas current mood toward him he could not try to force his way on this matter, he would get one of his adepts, one of the smaller lithe members of the kill teams to keep his actions known. Additionally Hikaru and the Deaths Hand would join the initial breakthrough, he would have the remainder of the Deaths Hand and other trusted members come through for the purge once a link was established. That he decided would be the way of things, at this moment he had no reason to get technical or devious, this would be a straight war.
And he would win.
Upon entering into the exterior complex of the Crypt many young Regulars, the bottom rung of 10th Division who handled everyday chores stopped dead in their tracks to salute him, he blankly nodded back each time. Yun took his normal walk around the complex but suddenly stopped at the northwest building, he couldn’t help but hear the hustle and bustle that had been going on around him come to a complete halt. He managed a brief look over his shoulder and saw that every member within visual distance had stopped dead in their tracks to watch him like a hawk. He knew the theories, the northwest building had long been off limits and rumors abound about what was inside, the most prevalent was that it was a massive weapon to use against hollows. Yun placed his hand on a pad near the large hydraulic door and it slowly pulled open to show a small dark room which he stepped into. He heard the locks release around him and he looked back out the door.
As the room suddenly began to spin and he lost sight of everyone staring at him he thought about one thing. Those people, the ones who thought it might be a weapon…they weren’t wrong.
He heard the chatter that always accompanied the heavy working environments where information was traded between workers at light speed long before the door turned all the way on its hinges and deposited him out into a dark hallway lit only by green runner lights. He walked calmly down the hall and the door at the end opened at his presence into a large room covered in computer screens with consoles up and down all its sides, this room too was bathed only in the light from these sources, blinking white, blue and green. The same phenomenal silence took hold of him as that from his workers outside as the nearly thirty people within the room turned to him with looks of both terror and excitement on their faces. Just as the members outside had been apprehensive to know what would be revealed here so to were the workers wondering if it was finally time to reveal their greatest work.
Yun had not seen any of these people in over two years, for two years they had lived in solitude sharing one of the Taichous greatest secrets. To some time had not been kind while others appeared to be as happy and prepared to work in the service of 10th Division as the day he put them in here. He took stock of their current situation and the exact numbers that were currently running the system, all the while the hushed crowd remained silent lest they disturb a figment of their imagination. Finally after much study Yun returned to his position at the door and turned to the group.
“At 2.049.2/3 we begin…”
He walked back out the door he had come in. Before he could even reach the next door to go back outside a cacophony of cheers rung out from the room behind, for the shortest moment he grinned for he could share in their sentiment, it wasn’t under the terms he had hoped but today he changed the world. The sight he found when he came back outside was not one he had not expected, practically half his Division was packed in around the building waiting to see what happened, the word having traveled like wildfire. As well several seated members, the leader of the Deaths Hand a giant of a man named Desmae and Hikaru his Lieutenant had come much closer and were waiting at the door, he could tell from their uptight nature they were practically ready to bash the door down to find out what he was up to. When he came out he pretended to ignore all the eyes and walked straight to Desmae and spoke quietly, not so much in secret as calmly.
“Assemble the Deaths Hand; choose 3 others than yourself for a forward party and bring the rest to attention.”
“All of them sir?” For the first time in as long as Yun could remember he heard Desmaes voice crack and he could feel the atmosphere wafting off the others gathered who were within earshot grow considerably heavier.
“Yes.”
Desmae who like many of the bulkier Deaths Hand chose to wear the almost futuristic black armor gifted to them by 10th Divisions research labs bowed and walked off in a hurry. Everyone here suddenly realized the importance of the matter at hand, no matter what it might have been. Yun turned his gaze to all the seated members gathered around him.
“The same goes for the rest of you, prepare yourselves and then pull together any of the other members you deem capable of fatal combat, no matter who they are. Hikaru you walk with me…” The way he handed out orders was not uncommon, Yun was renowned for being a quick thinker but the way he threw orders out at a lightning pace also had the added effect of making people move faster. By ordering them with force it often made them act with force, even if they were on a pointless job.
He walked off through the crowd, some of whom were being pulled aside by his seated members to join in the fight, the rest who parted before him without a word. He returned back outside with Hikaru close in tow and looked down on the large road coming back up to his Division, by now huge groupings from every Division were pulling together to create a small battalion of black robed gods of death. He saw that several of the captains had arrived as well and upon spotting him approached.
“Don’t worry, you’ll find out soon enough…” he said to Hikaru expecting her probable question. After all she could not know the answer, there were many secrets in 10th, and many others shared in them, especially her. But the Black Tower…the Lunar Gate…that was his, his and those people trapped in time within the Northwest building. Nobody knew about it but today the world would see.
“You’re getting a kick out of this I think…” a voice echoed out to him.
Yun smiled as he turned to Kuatura Katayama who had somehow gotten to him before any of the other approaching captains.
“Whatever do you mean?” he responded coyly.
“You want to hold this matter over the other Divisions heads.” Kuaturas words sounded stern but both men only ever spoke with each other in a near joking manner, it was just their way.
“Now nobody ever said stuffy old Yun couldn’t have some fun. I’m already in the furnace, might as well get some shits and giggles out of it while I can.”
With that he turned back to the vast number of gathering shinigami before his Division…and smiled.
“I thought you only worked alone, do you really feel comfortable letting other Divisions use your technology?” Kuatura asked seriously.
As Yun looked at Kuatura and briefly at his Lieutenant Hikaru he responded with no trace of sarcasm and in complete sincerity.
“Honestly I doubt many of them could get much out of it from a few seconds of contact. Really it’s the plan that has me worried a bit; I trust most others to watch my back though I keep to my own. But I am not fond of this two wave strike…I do not treasure the concept of 9th Division pulling up my flank. Our previous…discretions can be ignored in polite company but that doesn’t stop all of them from being completely psychopathic…”

((OOC: Opening statement of Laetitia's was removed to be used elsewere.))
Nearly fifteen minutes later Volk, Zodd and Laetitia found themselves across Soul Society near Tenth Divisions headquarters. All of them looked horribly out of place but they didn’t seem to notice, they had no reason to talk to anyone and so what if everyone gave them an extremely wide birth? It just meant that the people understood just how dangerous they were, that was after all the whole point. As they walked along Laetitia looked at Zodd and scrunched her face up, the large man seemed to notice her stare but said nothing, he was used to her giving him such looks. She was pretty sure he had nothing against her and she understood that he was valuable in terms of strength but she would never understand what Hitotsu saw in the big ugly wolf man that caused him to allot him so much responsibility. Meanwhile Volk stayed on her opposite side and despite his eyes being covered made the physical effort to turn his face away from the man, thinking him without taste and nothing but a big brute. The only thing that could possibly get him to work cooperatively with Zodd was an order from Hitotsu himself…which this was. They walked in awkward silence for a long time until they were out in the field of gathering shinigami. Even here senior shinigami made efforts to part around them. It wasn’t just their reputation; it was the three of them, especially Laetitia, they reeked of foul energies not associated with the honorable shinigami. They were a foul and corrupt ending and all around would rather remain unassociated.
They were walking taint.
Walking death.
Walking war.
Without warning Laetitia called out in a high, completely unbefitting schoolgirl voice. Most around had no clue what was going on though given there weren’t many people around the dread lord of 9th Division to begin with but both followers and anyone in 9th Division knew how Laetitia often greeted her captain. Nobody was quite sure if it was supposed to be ironic, a parody of some sort or if every time she saw Hitotsu she really was overcome with childish glee but regardless, she greeted him with the same tone every time.
“MASTER!!!” she ran up to his feet with a big smile. After a moment she spoke more calmly though she was still bubbly and chipper.
“What happened? That useless messenger knew nothing? With all these people……”
She paused for a short moment before an evil, almost maniacal grin spread across her face. She lowered her gaze so that it was deep set and dark and spoke with all the venom she was famed for.
“Do we get to war? Do we get to kill?”
-------------------------------------
OOC: This has apparently been difficult for several posters to understand, I apologize if the initial explanation was not good enough.
The Crypt is out all by itself far on the eastern side near the destroyed portion of Rukongai where nobody lives. Yun has had the land all around it paved flat meaning there’s nowhere to hide on the approach to the crypt so its mostly green plains, however one giaganormous 20 lane road leads from the rest of seireitei to the front of 10th division. It is this road on which the forces are currently massing; this is also where the Senkaimon will be set-up as it is flat and easily defended. This road reaches a small stairway, on top of which is a standing area, a typical place for a leader to stand and speak when mustering their forces. This is where Yun and any captain who wants to join him (you don’t have to) are standing looking out on the field where the forces are. Behind them is a giant white wall and red door like you see around Seireitei the Crypt is stationed within, read the 10th division biography to get a better vision of it.
Also let this be said, the tower has not been exposed yet, nobody can see it.

As the other captains filtered out of the room to go about their various tasks and assemble needed personnel, Nekomi was left alone with Yun and Kazuma, friends clearly in a bit of a disagreement. It was the Commander General Kazuma that spoke to her, assuring her that her presence wasn’t necessary. She didn’t really appreciate the ‘before you were born’ comment, but she had other things on her mind at the moment. She did have to acknowledge the fact that she was far younger than most of those who had surrounded her only moments earlier, so it would have to be left alone for now.
The girl nodded at Kazuma and smiled wide as she responded to his words. “You two crazy kids just give me a call if you need a referee!” With that, she was gone from sight, having used her flash steps to exit the building and head out in the direction of her own division’s headquarters.
The scene at Division Eleven’s main hall was wild, noisy, and… exciting. Nekomi managed to slip into the large mass of huge and muscular warriors relatively unnoticed. They had been so preoccupied with their preparations that they hadn’t witnessed the arrival of their captain. Deep, loud voices boomed orders while the newer members of the division struggled to understand and ready themselves for what was about to occur.
Heading into her office, still evading the attention of her subordinates, Nekomi gathered a few necessary items into a little pack which she strapped to her back at her waist. She glanced around her office one more time to see if she’d forgotten anything. In all honesty, she hoped that she’d be able to color more pictures on her favorite oversized desk. She still had that picture of Kaijin to finish, after all. All that hard work would have to be put on hold for now, though. There were other tasks at hand.
Nekomi strode confidently from her office and into the cacophony that was Division Eleven’s main hall. While her subordinates were being loud and obnoxious, it was because they were just finishing their preparations. It had taken less than ten minutes, but they were all assembled and waiting for her address. They’d merely begun discussing the rumors that had begun flying about the events ready to take place in short order, commenting on one another’s battle readiness, and various other discussions. They stood now in rather organized lines, obviously having assembled themselves in some sort of predetermined formation.
It was then that the petite captain really took notice of her stellar division’s rather intimidating appearance. She certainly didn’t fit the typical description of an Eleventh Division member, but there were many here who did. Large, burly, muscular men with large weapons appeared before her. Slim, fast-moving, tactical specialists joined them. Well-rounded brawlers of average size were intermingled in the mix as well. Though there was a diverse array of people in the room at that moment, there was no question in the girl’s mind that they all belonged here and had earned their place. Each was a specialist in various manners of combat and had assembled to hear how they would best aid Soul Society. It was good to know that she had such a strong and stable base for her captainship.
Nekomi climbed up onto a nearby table in order to address the amassed warriors, though even then she barely stood tall enough to see over their heads. She held her position for a moment, crossing her arms and waiting for her subordinates to realize that she was there. She could have yelled or whistled to garner their attention, of course, though it was much more fun to use other methods.
At Nekomi’s side, a very large feline form appeared. Its eyes glowed a red-orange akin to the heart of an immense fire. Smoke swirled and churned within the cat’s dark coat, and embers and wisps of smoke burst forth from its flared nostrils as it huffed at the crowd. Suddenly, Nekomi’s materialized zanpakuto spirit leapt forth from the table and let loose an earth-shaking roar. All in the vicinity could feel it vibrating their very bones as the walls trembled around them. Kaijin flew through the air, claws revealed and teeth bared, though just as he finished his great introduction and scared a few unwary soldiers out of their skin, his form dissipated in mid-air.
Wide eyes remained locked on the space that Kaijin had just occupied above the crowd. Not a sound could be heard, however, so mission accomplished. Nekomi merely had to clear her throat to snap her comrades out of their momentary stupor.
“Now that you’re paying attention,” she began, with her arms still crossed as the smile vanished from her features. “This is not a drill. We’re about to wage war in the heart of Hueco Mundo.”
Mumbles and murmurs followed that statement, and Nekomi’s gaze shot quickly around the room to each of those guilty of interrupting her. Once she’d regained their undivided attention again, she continued. “A handful of academy students were taken from the living world, as I’m sure many of you are aware. I and a select few of you will be entering Hueco Mundo to begin the arduous task of reclaiming them. Several more of you will be positioned throughout Soul Society to maintain order here, should anything go wrong.” Her eyes moved once more as she said this, resting upon those officers whom she’d already selected for the task.
“I understand that the method by which the few of us will be allowed access into the enemy’s territory is dangerous and unstable, at best. Be ready for anything. Another battalion of you are to be ready to head in shortly after our entrance, as we intend to establish a larger opening for you to cross into Hueco Mundo.”
Nekomi glanced upwards for a moment as she considered how to explain her thoughts on the situation. After a brief second, she stared out at them all once more with a stern look upon her face. It was all rather unlike the small captain and it was obvious that her subordinates didn’t quite know what to make of it. “I don’t need to remind you of what’s at stake here. I’m sure you all can figure it out. We may be walking into a trap, though it really can’t be helped at this point. We need to retrieve our own. This is the type of situation in which this division excels. I expect nothing but your best efforts. You will bring honor and glory to this division, no matter the consequences. You will protect your fellow shinigami until the very end. We will win.”
A round of raucous hollers could be heard after the girl’s last statement. They seemed to understand and were as prepared as could be for the events ahead. Finally, the mischievous smirk returned to Nekomi’s face as she giggled quietly. She raised her staff in the air and yelled out to the amassed warriors.
“For Daisy-chan!” she bellowed, in reference to her vice-captain who had been injured in the initial confrontation with the espada who had whisked the academy students away. Sokou was still recovering in the halls of the Fourth Division, and Nekomi fully intended to make hold someone responsible for his injuries.
“DAISY-CHAN!!” her comrades responded enthusiastically.

Captain Matano strode in front of a large group of her best fighters. Some were large, some were not, but all carried with them an air of confidence that only the most experienced warriors could muster. They headed straight for the mass of reiatsu that all could sense collecting in the vicinity of the Tenth Division’s headquarters. Nekomi and her company of hulking fighters made their way into the tumult with relatively little difficulty, as many were willing to provide a wide path for the group.
A large number of Nekomi’s subordinates stopped at a wave of the girl’s hand, and her selected few accompanied her to Yun’s presence. She said nothing, but gave him a reassuring nod as she approached and stood at his side. She figured that the old guy had quite a bit on his mind at the moment. It wouldn’t be necessary for her to break his train of thought with her greetings and shenanigans.

After Judeau had left to notify Laetitia and the others of their orders, Hitotsu began making his way towards the tenth division’s main building. It was a short journey and as such the captain leisurely strolled down the path leading from his division’s main building which also held his primary living quarters within it. He walked through his hall of reflection without glancing into any of the glass cases. His mind was focused on the new “prizes of conquest” he would take from his victims worthy enough to be remembered. The others would merely become wood for the fire, grease for the machines. Remembered by none. Though he found it regrettable that he would have to put his current projects on hold, the notion of fresh blood from powerful opponents was too much to pass up.
He had been waiting for this. This was A full out assault on the enemy. A war. One that would yield to him all that he desired in this world. When he got to the main road, the captain began walking to Yun’s tenth division. This new invention of his and the risk/dangerousness as well as the secrecy surrounding its construction didn’t concern Hitotsu, he knew tenth to be as forth coming about his divisions duties as he was and to be honest couldn’t care less. As long as he was true to his word and this gate of his worked, allowing the captain to release his full strength and kill without mercy the hordes of Las Noches then he would be pleased.
Thoughts of the mutilation that was to come both on and off the battlefield once this operation was completed made the short journey distance feel almost nonexistent. The swarms of shinigami clustered in front of the tenth present as he arrived noticed his presence, more than his reiatsu level which was almost suffocating on its own. But along with it came the captains ever present killer intent was increased with his eagerness for the battles ahead. The effect on the weaker parties present were obvious at first and they parted for him, rather they took a few steps away from him so that they were not experiencing his overbearing reiatsu so completely.
The captain stood alone amidst the crowd. Whether it was his power, appearance, presence or reputation that made those nearest him shy away giving him a wide berth in all directions or a mixture of all he wasn’t sure, but he was thankful for it. For they, those who did not see the world as he did sickened him as much as he surely sickened them. He watched from below as people moved about in the tower, Yun’s reiatsu among them. Hitotsu was no known for his patience and was already beginning to clench his jaw in irritation when he felt the reiatsu of his comrades finally arriving. He looked to them wordlessly and awaited their approach.
“MASTER!!!” His second in command called out in a tone that betrayed her dark heart.
“What happened? That useless messenger knew nothing? With all these people……” She questioned sounding more like herself.
Hitotsu turned toward Laetitia and met her gaze with his own. He did not answer his vice captain, he knew that there was no. Seeing all the people amassed and the mixture of fear and anxiousness floating in the air as well as written on the faces of those around told her exactly what she was here for. The broad smile similar to the one he had been wearing when he first heard the news that appeared on her face a moment later said that she now understood.
“Do we get to war? Do we get to kill?” She asked him, her voice now showing the nature of the person it belonged to.
“Yes” He responded simply in a grim tone.
“We will kill." He continued after a short pause before falling silent once more and returning his gaze upwards toward the crypt.

The sun beat down on the members of Division 7 as they made preperations for war. The long range squadron was in the middle of preparing their best Kido techniques, so they would be able to send bolt after bolt of Reietsu at the enemy when given the chance. At the same time the close quarters squadron was sparring and gathering supplies for the journey through the Senkaimon gate. Arashi stood on the top of what was once he trunk of a tree. Strangely enough the decorated stump still had much life within it. It's own reietsu pulsed outwards, empowering any Kido that was cast there. It was the totem, so full of life that made the Kido Mastery Division so formidable. They were able to train under it's influence and gained massive power in doing so. The Captain surveyed the preperations, and watched as Iko gave out order after order. Arashi too was giving a few spare orders, but not as many as his strongest, and most trusted subordinate. The only reason being he was in conflict with two different sides of his personality. One one hand, he was blaming himself for what had happened and was mounring and wallowing in self pity. But the other half, the half embraced by his Zanpakuto was trying to see the brighter sides of things. How the Gotei 13 would bring the students back from the depths of Hueco Mundo no matter the cost. Arashi clenched his hands and leaped down from the faintly glowing totem that was in essence, the heart of Division 7. A quick hanki burst quieted the Reietsu from the totem. If any from Minoru's squad even thought of infiltrating the Division 7 HQs. Instead of finding the Well of Power in which the Kido Masters drew there massive power from, all they would find would be a leafy stump. The Wind Master made a motion in the air, a trail of visible Reietsu following the gesture. "I summon thee Guardians of the Six Elements. Kaen, Mizu, Daichi, Ikazuchi, Kumori, Awai...Come to my aid Masters of the Elements. The Master of Wind calls the aid of his companions of the past." Arashi's voice resonated, and a portal opened in front of the Well of Power. Six Shinigami stepped through one after the other...they were the Elemental Guardians. They kept watch over the Blade of Origin. The very blade that carved the seven elements and gave each to one of the Seven Guardians. Arashi was the only one to actually stay in the Gotei 13. "Kaen-San...Mizu-Chan...Daichi-kun...Ikazuchi-sama...Kumori...Awai. I thank you for coming on such short notice. But it is imperitive that you came here thusly. I ask that you grant your guidance to the Seven I have chosen." Mizu, the guardian of water embraced Arashi without word. And chose a girl from a group of Six of Division 7's Finest Kido users. A simple touch from Mizu's hand upon the Shinigami's forehead left a blue Kanji in it's wake. Tatooed on her skin. The Kanji of water shimmered momentarily, then faded to look like a simple tattoo. The other Guardians did similar gestures on the other Kido masters. If one were able to see another Zanpakuto's spirit, and world. Then they would see the guardian and the Zanpakuto conversing with each other. The guardians nodded at Arashi and vanished back through the portal before it closed. Arashi's voice returned to it's normal self. Losing the resonating power it held moments before. "Iko-chan...Is everyone ready?" Arashi rarely used the term of affection towards Iko, only when they were alone. But The Wind Master was in too much pain to worry about breaking the Prime Directive. After confirming that Division 7 was indeed prepared for war, Arashi, donning his white coat, lead the Kido Masters towards Division 10 HQs. ---------------------------------------------------------- Hikaru gazed out at the amassing forces of the Gotei 13. Her thoughts were a mixture of curiosity and duty. She knew her Captain well, and that she would indeed find out about whatever secret he had kept from her. She also knew that he wouldn't keep any secrets from her unless it was important to the Division's overall wellbeing. So the Precision Fight made no move to object to the delay of the explanation that would soon follow. She watched as Arashi and his Division fell into place, and the Captain broke off from their ranks leaving Chiyo Iko to keep organization sturdy. The Wind Master joined the other captains at the top of the stairs, nodded at Yun and turned to gaze out at the masses of Shinigami that were standing in formation before them. The Division 7s expression was somber, sorrowful...and held much regret. This was such a startling contrast to what Hikaru was used to seeing on the silver tossled captain's face that she had to blink a few times to make sure it was the same Arashi that she knew. I see...so he blames himself for what happened, even though Yun-dono is in charge of the Real World's deffenses...Interesting. Hikau contemplated this and more as she waited for the Gotei 13 to finish assembling.

Yamato Takahashi, Captain of the 6th Division, stood in stony silence as the events of the meeting unfolded. He had nothing of significant value to contribute, and so decided to hold his tongue. It became even more difficult when he heard Yun telling the Commander General that he had essentially knowingly endangered the real world for what he considered the greater good; it made Yamato sick. Supposed Captain of the Real World Defense Squad doing something like that...
His muscles tensed, and he was sure his reiatsu surged very slightly, but he said nothing. Hearing the Commander's order to meet at the Division 10 Headquarters, Yamato walked measuredly from the hall, mentally compiling a list of his greatest fighters. Lucky that there was to be a fight; Yamato was in the mood for one...
**********************************************************************
Yamato stood in front of the designated spot, his force small but strong. He cursed the fact that his Division was undermanned, but thanked the fact that they were dedicated. Besides, if it came down to it, he would take on the entirety of Hueco Mundo on his own if he had to. That was his way. He braced himself for battle, feeling his inner fire come to the surface.
'You ready, kid?' Vulcanus's growl resonated in his head.
'Am I ever not, Vulcanus?'
There was a barking chuckle as the sword buzzed with energy in his hands.
'The air is thick with the call of battle. Shall we answer it, kid? Shall we claw our way through the chaff?'
Yamato gave a half smile, the merest edge of sadism creeping across his features.
'Claw, punch, kick, cut, crush, slice, burn...'
Both voices rang as one, wielder and blade, echoing a single cry.
'FIGHT!"

It felt great, knowing that she'd be able to help somehow in the operation. She wasn't fully aware of teh full situation, but she knew that if it were enough to make Mouretsu-taichou-dono uneasy than she had no choice but to share a piece of the unease herself.
This was the right thing to do, she told herself with confidence. We can't let those poor children remain in those monsters' evil clutches.
She glanced over a record of the most proficient kido masters in the squad under the captain and herself. There were a dozen promising officers to chose from, many were definitely more than capable than holding their own against even the more formidable of foes with a vast array of powerful bakudo and hado spells. The trouble was splitting them into two separate groups. She decided she'd best organize the groups based on whether the members would specialize in binding spells or destruction spells.
She rallied the best spell casters the squad had to offer and had them grouped into two teams determined by her previous decision. The two teams were ordered to assemble by the Well of Power. She arrived shortly before the rest of the squad members and met up with the captain.
"Iko-chan...Is everyone ready?"
"Yes... sir." She stated in with a rather irritated attitude. She wasn't fond of him sounding so affectionate in public, it made her feel uneasy and she would have almost wanted to scold him had the other members of the squad had not showed up at that moment. Almost. She decided she would probably have let it slide anyways since she knew he did it in friendship.
"The men are assembled just as you have asked, sir. Shall we proceed?"
The timing of it all is just perfect, Minoru couldn't help but think to himself, a semi-smug grin of amusement finding it's way across the veteran captain's lips. It's been way too long since I've been able to engage in such an event as this, it would be a great chance to gather enough data to amuse me for weeks after this was all done! And Yun's slip up could cost him greatly once this is all over, who knows, maybe I could benefit from his loss.
Within his office, Minoru waited as the last of his trusted subordinates made their way out in order to fulfill the orders the captain had provided. With the flip of a switch, the door locked tightly behind the back of the seated officer, the windows behind himself closed shut, and leaving only the dim glow of computer monitors and luminescent chemicals to light the room. Underneath the desk reached Minoru for a small keypad which he entered a series of secret codes and passwords until a quiet beeping pattern accompanied by a faint clicking signified the unlocking of a small doorway leading to a private vault blow the office of the captain of Squad Twelve.
"What might be of use to me on this expidition into the jaws of the beast itself?" He spoke out loud as he traversed into the dark vault. He flipped another switch and a number of fluorescent light flickered on draping the fortified room with a clean white light. Racks and shelves and boxes of high tech equipment and fancy gadgets. He opened a small crate and grabbed a trio of metallic stakes which he put in his coat, then closed it. The stakes were disigned to be able to drain away the reiatsu of any hollow or arrancar who would get close enough for Minoru to stab. A lesser arrancar would surely be left totally incapacitated if stabbed by one, while an espada might not be too strongly affected by them, possibly requiring all three just to make a noticeable difference.
He moved on over to a refrigerated cabinet and from within the took a small case filled three phials of a clear thick ooze-like serum which he also put in one of his coat's inner pockets. This gelatinous elixir would be able to help mend any superficial wounds as well as help tend to any would-be fatal ones. While not as potent as regenerative serums used by captains of Squad Twelve in the past, this would surely do just fine.
He also grabbed a tiny computer chip and inserted it into his mobile phone upgrading it's ability to track and record data tenfold, allowing him to track any being and record any other data he may deem important while remaining completely unsuspected, a useful tool for this mission indeed as who knows what hell might break loose in Hueco Mundo which would prevent him from studying his surroundings. The amount of energy required to run the phone while this chip was installed was however, massive so he could only keep his phone on for up to half an hour tops before the battery would die or the phone itself would burn out. He put the phone in a small black case which he hid in his pocket which would completely 100% hide it's presence, heaven forbid Yun accuse him of trying to steal his precious patented technology, ha! As if Minoru would actually need that Squad Ten junk. He decided to bring a second, normal phone just in case.
He also grabbed a thin vest made out of a ultra-light silk-like material which would help conceal his presence to people from a distance and put in on under his coat. He also grabbed a prototype belt-like gadget which he made based on his data on hollows and arrancar hes dissected and studied in the past, which would hopefully be able to scramble the reiatsu of any Espada he could possibly confront and help neutralize their abilities slightly. If he were able to stab one with one or more of his stakes, then the data collected would be able to boost the belt's effects even more.
Minoru exited the vault and sealed it up on his way back his office. Hurried outside and proceeded to meet up with Nekomi's Squad Eleven attack team at Squad Ten's secret fortress whether Yun, or Nekomi herself for that matter, liked it or not.

Post by D - Tetsushiga Mai on Jun 14, 2008 16:43:24 GMT -4
Mai gathered her robes and left the colossal complex of 1st Division HQ. She wondered wether perhaps she should have stayed and attempted to speak to Kazuma-dono about her findings and theories related to her absence. Now however did not seem like the time. Soul Society was filled with a hustle and bustle of activity the likes of which it had not seen for a long time. There was an electricity in the air, a tense feeling, more akin to the muscles of a snake just before it strikes than the dark forboding of anxiety. And now it was time for her to do her job as part of that snake.
She sweeped through the 3rd Division gates, her haori trailing out at her side, and was greeted by a lower ranking member, who bowed low saying good morning in a respectful tone. She off loaded her travelling clothes onto the shinigami,
"I'm afraid we don't have time for formalities Kiko-kun, we have work to do. Would you fetch Ikashi for me, please? Send him to my office."
"Right away, Tetsushiga-Taichou." The young shinigami bustled off across the courtyard to the inner halls of 3rd Division. Mai walked across the entrance plaza and started to climb the broad steps that led up the hill to 3rd Division main complex. She breezed through the main entrance hall and out the doors at the back, through her own private Zen garden courtyard and into her office. Ikashi was already standing there waiting at attention for her. He bowed low as she entered.
"Punctual as always Ikashi-san". The middle aged man smiled, his cheeks creasing up under his eye patch.
"Sounded serious, m'am."
"Yes, so it would appear... have a seat." She rounded her own desk and flopped into her chair motioning him to do the same. He duly obliged. "As you may know, or may not know, several students were abducted by the Arrancar, using the recent attack on Soul Society as cover for the attack on the students in the real world. Kazuma-dono has set in motion a plan to rescue the students, one in which the primary factor is speed and surprise. Our task, as it has always been, is to guard the gate. A Senkaimon is being set up over at First Division and it is our job to lead the defense, should anything come through, or follow our own forces back."
"Understood, no more needs to be said, I'll gather the forces."
"Not so hasty... I want Seats 3 to 10 and their units to meet in the main plaza, seats 11 to 20 and their units will double up shifts with those already on duty."
"Yes m'am", he stood to go.
"Sit down I'm not finished yet!" Their was no harshness in her tone, one the contrary see found Ikashi's impatience and hastyness quite impressive, considoring he had been here long before she had been Captain.
"I want the Gate Guardians summoned as well, inform the secondary Guardians to assume their positions."
"Those four giants? Are you...- Certainly m'am but is that really necessarry?"
"We The Third do not have any fancy technology as 12th Division, or the 10th and his neo-troops do, all we have is the muscles and abilities that we have worked to attain. And we have not had cause to flex these muscles in a long time... perhaps now is a time to do so. Oh and one more thing Ikashi..."
"Yes M'am?" He stood from his chair.
"Inform The Musicians." Ikashi went slightly pale.
"Th- the Musicians? Are you sure?"
"Yes Genma. I am sure. We may be facing strength the likes of which we have never seen before... even with the four Guardians, The Musicians i am sure will prove invaluable. Plus i'm certain that the other captains are busy preparing their own trump cards, and we can't be outdone now can we?" She smiled sweetly. Ikashi straightened his shoulders.
"Very well m'am." He sighed and turned leaving the office. A cloud passed over the sun, covering the Zen garden and its various rock pools and waterfalls in momentary darkness. Mai could not help but nourish an ominous feeling, even for a second...
