Sojukin met her glance for a moment and took a step back apologizing to her. He really didn't know why he had bothered to bring himself that close to Reina, what the hell did he want to get himself stabbed? He had never done that with anyone before, the more he found himself in tune with his sanity the more he didn't like it, he was acting so irrationally!
"Yeah, I'm sorry about that, I guess I just wanted to get the point across that I really wasn't crazy. It seemed like something normal people did when they wanted some to calm down. Just getting closer usually...."
Wait, no was he blushing!? Since when did Sojukin Asamoto fucking blush!? He decided right then and right there that something was seriously messed up with this day; flirting with Reina was one thing, but this was bordering on absolute madness. The crazy side of him wasn't even this insane, yet something felt so oddly right about this all and he wanting to continue speaking and just embrace what he had for the moment and let the white fade away from his memory.
"I have no idea where all the sand comes from, I don't really care either when I figure out who are what is causing it...I'll kill them or crush it or do whatever the hell I can to stop that thing. I believe that somewhere much deeper down in the hollow forest, theres something bigger that all of us...possibly even stronger than death thats just leeching all the life out of this place. I think there is something down there, that has become so unstable in it's own power that it just continually drains this place dry of any sort of life aside from the hollows who can resist it because of the layers upon layers of rock between us and it. Yet, its presence forces all the stand to come back up and flatten in the shape we're in now. It's just a theory, but one that could explain a great deal about this place. Think about it, if there really is some monsterous hollow down there draining all the life out of this place, that would explain why everything is so white and only stone lasts out here. It explains why all the craters are filled in almost instantly and why hollows that go too deep into the hollow forest never come back."
Sojukin explained as he thought about what the presence of a being that powerful could mean for everyone in this place. That Death wasn't the top of the food chain and that there something worse lurking beneath the sands of this world.

It looked like Sojukin finally realised how incredibly she was being in not skewering him on something, and started to back away a bit. Good, some breathing room, although she thought that his explanation was a bit wonky. Did you really try to calm people down by touching them? That seemed more like a way to get people excited....maybe if you really need them to stay still and couldn't knock them out...
She also made a point of ignoring the faint red she saw on his face; considering that it was Sojukin, it meant that either he was truly embarrassed, which she would take as the final sign that the world had broken, or that he was thinking something perverted, which would mean that he was thinking something about her, and she would need to smack him. That in itself also reassured her somewhat - even if she no longer felt bothered to dislike him, she still found the thought of doing anything physical with him not involving violence beyond disgusting.
"A super powerful hollow at the center of the world....it sounds completely crazy, but also believable. If that's the case though, we're all pretty much screwed; as it is, it would probably take all of the shinigami captains ganging up on Death to kill the freak. Might explain where he came from though."
She thought on it some more, ten voiced something else she had noticed. "You know, when you aren't being completely psycho, I can actually stand to be around you without getting the urge to kill you.....often. That's further than any other arrancar's gotten." Hmm, maybe there was hope for arrancars after all......

The faint glare of red returned to Sojukin's face as he looked back up at her. Ok something had broken the world today, was he embarrassed because a female had complimented him? He looked at her for a moment trying to get the hot feeling on his face to vanish as he stared at her almost stunned by what she had said. He had never really expected it from her though, he did have to suppose it was true; he was rather annoying when he was going absolutely insane and now that he was calm....He shook the thoughts away, really not something he wanted to think about at the moment, rather he just wanted to continue talking to Reina while he had the peace of mind to do so.
"Well...I....ummm...Thanks I wasn't really expecting that. I thought you well hated me or at least disliked me." He was blushing again, this day couldn't have gotten any crazier; he supposed next shinigami and candy would begin falling from the sky and everything would be sugar and rainbows for everyone. Bah, maybe he should just go back to being insane, the world felt so strange this way and he certainly didn't feel like he belonged at the moment.
"Yes, if such a being does exist then we're all screwed but, think of it this way. It's just one obsticle in the way of our dream. In the way of our paradise, just another powerful enemy to surpass on the way to making this place perfect. Reina, think about it...Death and this mystery hollow might just be stepping stones, stepping stones to something far greater out there, there are entities that are powerful enough to be called forces of nature, that everything literally bows to them as they pass and altering the fabric of their surroundings is as simple as a wave of their hand. I don't know what it would take to become that powerful, but I'll do anything that it takes to get there. No matter how many voices in my head scream out at me, no matter what stands in my way, I'll cut my path through them all and see to it that my...no our dream becomes a reality."

So the blush had returned....that meant that now it was quite impossible for her to pretend that she was seeing things last time. She wasn't sure what he was so excited about this time though; all she had said was that he wasn't horribly annoying when he wasn't in crazy mode. That wasn't exactly much to be proud of....but then maybe he was taking what he could get.
"I did dislike you, like I said, you were incredibly annoying." Reina stated bluntly. "I can deal with minor crazy, not complete multiple personality disorder. As it is, you're now neutral. Think of it as a second introduction; from what you said, you're essentially a different person now that you aren't competing with all those voices in your head, so, as long as you don't get unbearably annoying, I'm far less likely to get to randomly kill you. Well outside of boredom, or proving which of us is stronger, or because it's Tuesday.....I likely won't make a serious attempt to kill you, let's just go with that."
Maybe that was the best way to deal with the weirdness, just take sane Sojukin as an entirely different person; without taking into consideration his previous actions, she could easily handle how he was now. And if he went crazy, blast him.
"Stop saying our! I'm still getting used to agreeing with you on something. Anyway, making this plane not suck seems like something pretty much anyone would like to see. Otherwise, I have no problems with getting more power, but I don't think that you can rewrite reality with sheer force of will."

Sojukin was about to say something deep when a more pressing matter came into his mind when she was talking. He wasn't really sure what it meant, but he thought he might as well ask seeing as it just might save his life one day or at least keep him from getting stabbed. Crossing his arms while the thought process worked; he eventually found himself asking something that he figured he was probably going to regret in a moment, but went ahead anyway.
"Wait, wait, wait....You kill people because it's Tuesday? Wouldn't it make more sense to do that on Monday or Wedsnesday? I mean Tuesday is just so blah...where as Monday is the rage day for everyone and then Wednesday is the middle of the week day that makes you want to kill everyone because it's not Friday yet."
He was a bit nonchalant about it, but he supposed it was a question that needed answering, then again he probably should have just sulked away from it and let it slide. After all how many times had Reina let his moments of insanity slide; then remembered she hadn't let one slide and still had the scars to probe it. He could remember a few ceros to his face as well that were a bit harder to forget and shrugged off any ill feelings over the question. Now then on more serious notes it was time to get back to the topic at hand and to remove any of the said sillyness that had just come up.
"You have a point, I couldn't imagine anyone wanting this place to stay this way, but most simply allow it to do so and keep themselves from even making an attempt. Sure, by a force of will alone it would be impossible, but look at my powers Reina. Fire can beget all things in time, it just needs a little push in the right direction; from heat I can create rain and an atmosphere for this place so that rain may continue to fall as necessary. By burning the 'trees' here I can enrich the soil and make it possible for new organisms to grow, it would all just take time and much more power than I possess at the moment. It is possible I just need more than what I currently possess."
As he spoke he was gingerly touching the self inflicted wound from earlier and using what was left of his reitsu to make it heal faster; he didn't want to go back home to have Taza mock him for it.

"Hmm?" Reina herself didn't see what was so weird about the day Tuesday. Well except the killing part, but Sojukin was questioning the choice of day, and she supposed that it wouldn't hurt to try to be more civil and explain - she made him explain his actions, it would be a bit hypocritical to ignore him.
"Well, like you said, Monday is already the rage mode day, killing someone then would be expected, and kind off boring really. Wednesday is the day that a lot of places offer good deals on their merchandise, specifically two for one on candy and stuffed toys; there is no way that I'm missing out on that. Tuesday is the bleh day; no one does anything on that day, it's just.....there. I'm livening it up a bit."
She was completely nonchalant about it, discussing days of murder as though she was discussing the weather. It was t be expected though; even if she didn't actively try to commit genocide, she still didn't particularly like humans. Not that Sojukin was ever going to learn this.
"Anyhow, fire does not create everything. I'll give you the whole burning the rocks thing, but fire does not create water. Heat evaporates water. If you want rain, you need someone who can make a lot of water. Then you also need plants that can grow without sunlight seeing as this place is permanent night. Essentially, you gotta get a bunch of mad scientists."

"That makes more sense than I thought it actually would and if it's a team of mad scientists that we need; we could always raid the soul society when we grow powerful enough and drag their sorry asses out her and make them do all the work. Who knows we might be able to convince them to throw in some extras and make this world even better than anyone would dare to dream."
Sojukin chuckled as he closed his fist and found himself thinking more and more how to accomplish his dream. The smile widened for a moment as he looked back to Reina and flashed her a quick wink. "I swear, if I wasn't afraid that you would kill my ass after I did it I would kiss you right now Reina. What you just said was brilliant....and gave me a good idea of how to get my dream accomplished."
His mind was working in overdrive in it's clarity and was forcing him into places he didn't know existed in his head. Untapped brilliance was forming and he suddenly felt himself wanting a long fifty's cartoon villian's mustache so he could rub it evilly as he laughed wickedly. All he needed now was a big enough piece of bait to lure the shinigami into Hueco Mundo and then the 'experimenting' could begin Though how to even begin? Should he start rounding up lots and lots of small fry and leaving notes behind or should he just go straight for a big one and lure them outright? Oh there were so many varibles that had to be thought up or else his plan would never work. He need a quiet place and some paper and a pencil...and a few bottles of sake and mabye a quarter pound of pot....yeah...he was definately going to need that quarter pound of pot. He began to mutter himself as he thought every little step out slowly and found his other wises trying to come in and help, but they were slapped down before they even got anywhere near his train of thought.
"Reina, do you happen to know a place where lower level Shinigami gather in the human world or at least are known to patrol? I need to...abduct a few of them." He said abruptly as he began mumbling to himself again and began to make marks in the sand detailing his plan.

"Of course it makes sense! I don't kill people for no reason!"
*Cough*"lies!"*cough*
"That was an accident! Poke one nuclear reactor and you never live it down.......anyway, you're right about the kissing me part - doing something like is going to end with you on your back one way or another. Guess which way it will be for you?"
Of course, it went without saying that if Sojukin said something stupid, he was getting smacked. But anyway, if he wanted to go kidnap shinigami scientists, whatever rocked his boat. She was personally thinking that it might be better to just get some hollow educated, it wasn't that hard to shove some in gigai and force them to go to school. Or maybe that was only Neferi's reasoning for making her do it.
"I probably shouldn't enable you, but this has too much potential for hilarity." She waved her hand, as the sand floated upwards, forming a sand city replica of Tokyo. Was Reina just showing off at this point? But of course, she had an ego too.
"They tend to hang around...here, here and here." She muttered, a sand doll showing up on the buildings she pointed out. "Their patrol route varies too much, but they will end up there sooner or later."

"You know, I really wasn't expecting your intel to be this good Reina...just how did you figure this out? Did you watch them all day or have scouts or did you sleep with a captain and get the squad positions?" He said the last parts rapidly under his breath disguising it as a cough as he moved his finger over the area and charred the entire sand structure forcing all of it stay in place as glass. He was amazed at the amount of detail that Reina had pumped into it though and to be able to do something with just the flick of her wrist was very impressive. Sojukin suddenly felt ashamed in the way that he just used most of his powers like a jackhammer, but pushed it aside as went to work. He made a few hmms and hums as he looked over his work and soon found himself humming out "Jukebox Hero' as he looked over it all and began to complete his plan. His humming never got much louder than to carry much further than a few feet away from him as he thought and the wheels in his head began running on overdrive as the hamster in the middle started doing speed.
In one quick motion, Sojukin drew his blade and cut out one of the little sand men perfectly so that he stood up nicely on his own. He then did the same with the other dolls of glass and began to trace lines through the glass to triangulate their paths in an assumption that they were attepting to cover as much ground as possible.
"Alright, so if their attempting to cover as much ground as possible. They should each begin coming up around here, here and here." He said to Reina as he looked up at her for a moment and was pointing out specific locations in Tokyo, each one holding major importance to the city from what Sojukin could tell and others were just high points where most of the city could be seen from a single point.
"Now then, should they not come up there and to say myself time. I should appear, here, here and here." He pointed to Tokyo Tower, the top of one of the business buildings across town and what looked to be a pawn shop from the way it was created. He put small xs on the points he said he should be and they were dead in the middle of each patrols assumed path. He was grinning wickedly now as he continued on with his explaination and how he planned for everything to function in the future as long as there were no hiccups.
"Alright, so if I am inferring right, I can abduct the patrol units and once their secruity gets tight enough I can leave a note for the Captain of the Science division and draw him out here. I don't necessarily expect them to send him alone, but I'm sure I could work out a deal after all the shinigami are much more...sentimental than us hollows and Arrancar." He said with a sick grin as he looked down at his carefully thought out plan and then began to plan for any accidents along the way.

Reina heard the end of Sojukin's sentence loud and clear, but she didn't take the bait, not physically anyway. There were better means of dealing with him. "Oh nothing of the sort, I simply frequent Tokyo so much, that I couldn't help but memorize where the shinigami scouts show up - as you should have figured out by now, I'm very good with reishi, and that includes sensing it. But I'm sure that you wound have sensed them too if you spent as much time there as I did."
Stealth insults, always fun. It calmed her enough that she was willing to be silent while Sojukin detailed his plan to kidnap a bunch of shinigami; she really needed to make sure she was there for that, she wanted to see this madness play out.
"Your plan would go much smoother if you just stretched out your senses and went after the shinigami one at a time. It would certainly lower the amount of guesswork - oh but wait, you can't do that, can you?"
Subtlety was fine, but sometimes directness was much more amusing.

"I was actually planning on going after the one on one, I was just plotting out the midpoints of each Shinigami's routes so that no matter where they happened to be on their route I would be able to find them easily enough. Yes your right though, it would be much easier if my reistu sensing was further up to par, but it's getting there slowly. I can make out more than just the blurs I was used to and can now make out shapes, but I don't trust it enough to try to just sensing a person from long range. Besides, these Shinigami will probably just pass out in my presence anyway; I doubt they'll have their seated officers patrolling until after I catch a few of them. Once I get up to the seated officers it still won't be much of a challenge; the shinigami aside from some of the vice captains and Captains are pathetic."
Sojukin said simply in a retort to her, not really caring about her insults or her pride in her ability to control reishi so easily. After all they had fought to a draw anyway and he didn't have to use any of her crazy shit to do it. A flame burns just as hot no matter what you do to it, but a cero could be dampened and made to impact for less. His eyes wandered over the glass set up for a moment and he licked his lips committing it to memory as he crushed the dolls head with two of his fingers and just smiled.
"You'll be first to go mister." He said with a twisted smile as he decided he just didn't like that particular doll.

"Actually, odds are good that they'll jump straight to upper seats after the first group vanishes. All of the stronger hollow and arrancar stalk Tokyo, they did learn eventually to just send the strong ones." It took them long enough too, one would think that would have sunk in about a century ago.
Right now though, she was more interested in just why Sojukin was threatening a glass doll. "You....do know that those are just generic shinigami right?" She asked skeptically. "Anyhow, if you've memorized the city..." With a wave of her hand, the glass city reverted to sand, collapsing back into the ground. She didn't want some random hollow wrecking anything she made after all.

Taza teleported into the closet side passage way as Riena and Sojukin where finishing there conversation. He hid is riatsu as he stood there waiting for them to finish. No doubt Riena would pick up on it in a matter of seconds, if not instantly, but he wasn't planning on hiding. He walked into the corridor laughing with each step. The stench of Sake was apparent on him as he wandered right in front of the two. “Your going to kidnap some shingami? Hahahaha. Oh my god, has your insanity reached a new level Sojukin?” He said as he pulled up the bottle and took a sip. “But I’m curious.. Whats the whole game plan?”
His knelt down and started playing in the sand. He quickly drew a bad mock up of a giant Sojukin head eating a super small shingami. “Ok so you’re going to kidnap one or two. In an attempt to bring a captain or two to Tokyo?” He started to chuckle again as he made a giant shingami sticking its sword into Sojukin’s head. “And then with the wrath of the Gotie 13 you’re going to get a sword in your skull huh?” He stood on top of his drawing before grabbing Sojukin’s shirt and pulling him close.
His eyes where on fire and his speech was as clear as any man sober as he said. “The hell I’m letting you do that.. I may hate you, but you still have a part to play yet. I aint gonna let you go kill yourself until you’ve played that part. When all is done you can do whatever the fuck you want. But right now, as much as it pains me to say it, your one of the key pieces on the board. I can’t let you sacrifice yourself for a few pawns.”
And so the drunken bastard had let out his view of Sojukin and every other arrancar. Pieces on the chess board of life. Taza wasn’t so cocky to think himself king, or the player as the Horror Vacui where, but still he knew what was needed on to win the game, and if the Horror Vacui where to be defeated he would need Sojukin’s power. Hell he could even use Reina but she would never side with him even for one battle..

Sojukin's eyes locked angrily at the drunkard before him; he had a ton of nerve to come back like this and further had a ton of nerve to insult him over his plan especially when he wasn't there to hear all of it. Further aidding to enrage him was the way that Taza was looking at him, looking at him like he was nothing more than a tool and that was a big no no in Sojukin's book. His eyes and body tensed rapidly as his anger and parts of his insanity were screaming through him in waves. His reitsu wasn't all the way back, but a good chunk of it had been restored while they had been sitting around and now it screamed out of him like a hurricane. Clouds of red, purple, blue and green came out in a carnival of heat and pain and he just grinned down at Taza as the temperature in the area steadily began to rise.
"What did you just say to me? BOY I would suggest you sober up now and back down before I bust your skull open. You haven't heard any of this plan only the part about the abductions, so unless you want me to stab you with my hand....back down or at least ask questions next time, you drunken prick!"
Waving his hand, Sojukin quickly erased the sand drawing that Taza had constructed and shook his head as he stood there and looked back to Reina.
"I know Reina, unless they've got a captain out there I won't have any problems taking them down. Vice Captains and seated members of the Gotei 13 don't have a chance. I can just wave my hand and crush them like bugs." He said with a cold smirk.

Reina quickly felt that familiar twinge of anger, that particular anger reserved solely for having to be in the presence of really annoying people. Taza was back, and worse yet, he was drunk again. Urge to kill was quickly maxing out even before he started to talk, but then she had to listen to the nonsense pouring from his mouth. While Sojukin chose to raise the temperature, Reina chose to show her feelings in a more proactive manner.
And of course by proactive, she meant by sending a cero Taza's way; she was managing to be friendly with Sojukin, that was enough out of character actions for one day.
"Don't kill them; if you're going to collect seated officers anyway, I want some of them. And since I know the odds of you controlling yourself enough to not turn them into paste is horribly low, I'll come along myself for collection."
As an afterthought, she made sure to send another cero at Taza, just because he existed and was within shooting range. Live target practice wasn't something she turned down.
