Burning, it was all burning. To Christopher Hellsing it was anathema. England was burning and try as he might he could not settle his tussled pride, his foes would pay dearly for this trespass.
The helicopter circled Old Trafford twice at a safe distance before settling down in the military defense force emergency outpost several hundred meters out from the arena. By then Christopher had seen all he needed to, it was clear this now fell well within Hellsings jurisdiction. Thankfully, as was made obvious by the numerous Hellsing personnel already on site this had already been accepted by the higher-ups and he would not have to waste time on a ceaseless struggle with a headstrong commander over who had command. It was a rarity but why this occurred with such efficiency compared to the usual was obvious, the enemy had made themselves known with all the subtlety of a train packed with explosives running aground.
For now their story of terrorist would hold, but it would be a miracle if they made it out of this unscathed in the public domain. There was every possibility the world of the occult stood a chance of being widely exposed due to this. At the very least if the story of terrorism was accepted it would still require his beloved England to step-up their support of the Americans in their fight against terrorism, something their military could not really afford. It was to be a catastrophe that in coming days death total surpassed that of the Americans Twin Towers tragedy. Twenty-five thousand fans Old Trafford could hold, plus four thousand more due to corporate greed, and almost a thousand staff on site. Even before they could be counted in coming days Christopher was all to aware they were all dead or worse ghouls, and that he faced the greatest observable threat a Hellsing had since World War II.
Old Trafford was to host the opener of the season, it came as no great surprise the stadium had been filled and then some. The first sign of trouble had been when a man had made his way onto the field. This was not an uncommon site, rabid fans either trying to get close to their heroes or threaten their teams rivals. Several security individuals had moved in to remove him from the field, then he had pulled a gun. At that point the live broadcast had been interrupted so home viewers were left in horror and confusion, many had made their way straight to the stadium before the military could erect a barrier, this only increased the number of deaths.
While the public may have been cut off the government had still seen the broadcast in all it's horror. The assailant had ripped through the security before turning his weapons on the players in a manner no human could have accomplished. Certainly the crowd after a moment of hushed silence had gone into a frenzy, a few going after the attacker but most simply falling into a chaotic rampage and moving for the exits. At that point several other individuals from within the crowd had opened fire until eventually the broadcast was cut off for good, however it was determined that there were further participants waiting in the hallways beyond the exits because none of the civilians ever made it out of the stadium with the exception of those in the parking lot at the time of the incident (who thus witnessed nothing in the first place). No demands had been issued nor was there any information on who had performed these acts, it was however abundantly clear from how the attack was made and it's efficiency WHAT had performed it.
There was really no wonder authority had been issued to Hellsing in such a expedient fashion.
As he made his way from the helicopter toward the assembled tents he made a quick tally of the resources he saw on hand beyond what he had ordered brought in. He entered into the main command tent and spotted a tall man bearing a familiar face. There were several other officers he did not recognize, they were of course probably the commanders of the local response unit. A guard at the door tried to stop him from entering but the tall man cut him off, then approaching and Christopher held his hand out. The man was in his late-sixties with salt-and-pepper hair, a hardened face no matter the circumstance, and a suit and coat-tails marking him as a high-ranking government type.
The tall man looked down at the twelve year old boy for several moments before returning his hand and stating, “It's been some time Lord Hellsing.”
Truth be told this would be Christophers first true operation. His father had only passed away four months prior, the previous leader of the Hellsing family which title Christopher had inherited. Since then he had dealt with a number of small skirmishes and vampire outbreaks but this was on a whole new level. Yet he didn't even think of that, Christopher had been raised to be what he was now. He may have had a child's body but his emotions and thoughts were more in line with a man of several decades, such was the expectations of a proper English family after all. So even though this might have been his first true mission as a leader he was not nervous, instead he considered it with the same pragmatism and English pride as always.
“So it has Sir Irons.” He responded back to the man, to outsiders the conversation probably looked ridiculous given the circumstances, “I trust all formal matters of transferring command have already been completed.” he stated more as fact than asking a question.
“Of course, your men have already set up their own command across from us when you are ready to give their orders. Until then the information we have collected and any of our materials are at your disposal.” Irons said with a certain respect, Christopher suspected it was more his respect for his father and the Hellsing organization as a whole than it was for him.
Still he was polite as always, “Thank you, please, show me what you have.”
They spent the next fifteen minutes going over the information they had. Though the cameras were now out they had captured a good bit before doing so, to be on the safe side when making an insertion they would assume the enemy force was twice the observed size. Not that, that was very likely but rather this insured there was no surprise waiting for them once they were in, it would be difficult to reinforce due to the circumstances. They also had some idea of what sort of weapons they might be up against, though he didn't take joy in more people having to die to affirm it the fact that several helicopters had been shot down gave them a good guesstimate of the largest arms arrayed against them...it was impressive to say the least, but Hellsing had access to quite a few surprises itself. They finally came up with a plan based on what they had at their disposal, Christopher didn't mind utilizing Irons help in this, he knew there was always more to learn.
Finished planning Christopher turned about and made his way past the two Hellsing members following him. They were Miria, his old Nanny and Hellsing Maid, an old soul who had watched over the family for over half a century plus some and Niles the family butler who was some odd thirty years old but have served his father loyally, like most individuals belonging to Hellsing he knew both were more than they appeared. Beyond that they were also the only followers he knew were already loyal to him. Having both helped raise him they knew how knowledgeable and trained the young man was, thus when his father had appointed him leader they accepted without question. The rest of the organization were less thrilled with the choice though to this point he had not lead them into any great failure so open dissent had remained minimal. He motioned for both his followers to walk with him.
He said farewell to Sir Irons before taking a short walk from the government command center to the Hellsing center across the way. Niles took a prompt step forward and opened the tent door for him as he stepped through. On the other side stood four dozen men, about 1/5 of the Hellsing soldiering forces, they waited idly except for several operating a communications board. When he appeared and they spotted him a room-wide salute was given, though a child leader was sometimes questioned nobody under his direct command was going to be so brash as to outwardly disrespect them. He returned the salute as he made his way down the center aisle and up on to the raised podium in the middle (made especially for him) as Miria and Niles took up a forward facing position on either side below him. Christopher looked around the room for Colonel Clemins the leading officer of the Royal Knights and when he found him motioned toward the screen behind him, within a second the lights had gone out and a large blue screen flickered to life behind him.
He first explained the situation as it stood, most here were already aware but those who weren't were visibly flabbergasted. Once the general predicament they found themselves in was clear he moved to the actual tactics, how he planned to reclaim Old Trafford...though he suspected when this was over they'd just tear the thing down or turn it into a memorial, nobody would want to go there ever again.
When he spoke it was with authority and was almost demanding, few would be likely to complain, he'd been brought up properly. “I won't beat around the bush. There is no safe way to insert you. The sewer systems have been cut off, we have witnessed ghouls below suggesting our enemy purposefully placed them there. While I certainly trust you to be able to handle a few ghouls the danger comes from the tight corridors, it would be single file and if a vampire or other freak is also down there it would be disastrous for the units sent in. Instead we will be taking a more direct insertion, though likely dangerous in itself.”
He cracked his knuckles before pointing toward the screen which was now showing a wireform model of Old Trafford and its surroundings, as he would suggest a method of attack a red model and arrow would appear to give it visualization.
“Within the next four minutes six extra APC's that I have ordered in will arrive. You will be using these to rush and in effect smash your way into Old Trafford. I won't lie to you, we know that they have at least one anti-armor cannon somewhere in the roofline. Even a freak won't be able to hit them all due to technological limitations but there is a high likelihood that at least one of the vehicles will be destroyed before you cross the parking-lot. In other words I am asking you to lay down your lives for me, something I believe you all already knew when you were recruited to Hellsing. But a factor I believe you should be allowed to know none the less.”
There was a massive debate over the proper way to handle soldiers. Many argued that the less they knew the better, then they were just unthinking killing machines with a goal. But Christopher disagreed. They were only machines on paper, surely it was rare they would actually talk back but every time someone was lost in combat his fellows lost a little more faith in those commanding them if it came unexpectedly. But if they were alerted previously Christopher reasoned then it wouldn't come as a shock and they would gain trust in their commander, figuring that even in a bad situation he was still going to give them the truth and tell them what they were facing. Plus the more they knew the more likely they could effectively counteract the threat or improvise on the fly. He felt this was paying off, there was less behind-the-scenes grumbling about his placement now than at first and he counted fewer telling faces in the crowd as he spoke.
“Once inside you will break into three squads, Colonel Clemins will break you into these squads based on his evaluation after this mission diagnostic. Squad 1's job will be to make their way up the two outer stairwells and eliminate the individual or individuals with the anti-armor cannon. As soon as this is complete you will inform us and we can begin sending in secondary troop carriers to aid you en masse, I've already made the call to assemble the full Hellsing countenance. Squad 2 will be providing general elimination and cover for the other two squads, you will be clearing the hallways encircling the stadium of any ghouls and/or other threats that could flank the other two units. Lastly Squad 3 will be taking up posts at every entrance to the field and stands itself, at this time your job is not to eliminate the threats within but instead locate and keep track of them. Once Squad 1 has eliminated the anti-armor and we have more forces in Old Trafford then the command will come down the line to start taking your shots. The Anti-Freak unit is also on its way, when they arrive you will allow them to take point, until that time it's up to you, if you encounter a particularly difficult freak put in a call to Lieutenant Victorian who will be aiding all three units.”
He had pointed to the girl standing in the back of the room when he said this. She stood WAAAY out in her old style of clothing and was the last person you'd expect to see in a military complex. Regardless few people gave her a second look as she had become a mainstay of their forces, and it when it came to weird she didn't even begin to scratch the surface of her superior. In the past two-dozen years the number of freaks employed to combat other freaks had exploded. Gabriel Evelyn had been recruited over a century ago but it had not been until the late 1980's that it was agreed upon that there were certain others that had no real desire to fight for control over humanity, many just preferred to be left alone, some even had families or other reasons to actually protect their home.
With that realization the Anti-Freak unit was created being composed of a number of vampires, werewolves, and witches or warlocks that agreed with Hellsing's goals (which had been rewritten from the elimination of “All” freaks to those that “Endangered the Royal Order of England”. In truth both Elizabeth Victorian and Gabriel Evelyn were part of this squad but compared to most of the members they were far older, Evelyn in particular. This meant that compared to them they were quite a bit stronger and dropping Evelyn into a firefight was the equivalent of dropping the entire anti-freak unit in, Elizabeth was somewhere in-between. So they rarely needed to be fielded all at the same time not the least of which reasons was that some of the younger individuals, vampires in particular, weren't very fond of Evelyn. Today though there was no time for such petty feuds, Hellsing was throwing everything it had at Old Trafford.
“There may be civilian survivors, in that case keep them safe to the best of your ability but elimination of the threats comes first and foremost until extra units can be inserted to act as guards. That's it, Colonel Clemins will order you into groups now. You'll have five minutes to prepare, then we begin. Remember, I'm counting on you all to do your duty and no matter what happens out there you're making England proud! Good hunting Hellsing.”
He performed a sharp salute which they all returned. As soon as he was finished the lights came back on and Clemins immediately went about assembling the groups that would participate. He made his way down the podium and back between the crowd headed for the entrance. When he got there he looked over to Elizabeth in the corner and motioned to her with his hands while mouthing the words, 'Follow me'. He then exited the tent and stopped about a dozen paces from the Hellsing tent, Miria and Niles still in silent tow. Once Elizabeth finally appeared he turned to her with a harsh face though the nature of it suggested it wasn't aimed at her so much as the situation, as usual he wasted no time getting to the heart of the matter.
“You know as well as I do that your master was in one of those helicopters when it went down and crashed into the facility. You also know that, that was hardly enough to actually kill him...by the crown, for all I know he's talking in your head right now.”
This was in fact true...he had complained for a long time about the crash scuffing his pretty clothing, he stopped for a while as he went to look for a bathroom to wash up. A sad fact of life, not all master vampires used their telepathic connections to talk about important things.
“Your first job is keeping our men safe. But if you do run into him in there please remind him he works for the Hellsing Organization, he's done so for a century. In other words as long as he doesn't endanger the people of England he can do whatever he wants in his free time, but right here, right now he works for me. And as that is the case it is his job to carry out his duties. If he had taken out the anti-armor like he was supposed to I wouldn't be having to throw the lives of my soldiers into jeopardy like this with a mad rush. Just remind him of that, as well as the fact that he may be powerful, but power only matters as long as it is useful.”
It was a threat, clear and simple, though it was probably a valid one. Since his inception Christopher had not been half as tolerant of Evelyns eccentricity and tendency to do whatever it was he wanted as his father had been. Father had always said his usefulness outweighed his annoyances, plus Van Hellsing himself who killed countless vampires had somehow seen it right to recruit Evelyn instead of eliminate him, this was supposed to make him special. But Christopher had no time for soldiers that cost him time, money, and lives no matter what they might have been capable of. If this continued then at best he was going to detain Evelyn and at worst they might have to eliminate them, Christopher kept hoping however that Evelyn might shape up after being reprimanded enough as he would be useful if his powers could be grasped more firmly. As for Elizabeth he knew she was loyal to her master but he figured her human side along with the presence of his two retainers would keep her from doing anything rash despite his blunt negativity over her leader.
After a brief staring match he turned around and made his way back into the Hellsing OS to prepare for the coming assault.

Elizabeth sighed as her master kept going on about his dress and how ruined it was. –Master, please focus on the task. I will get you a dozen dresses just like that one, or ones prettier or different if you want. Just stay focused.- Her soft voice echoed inside of Evelyn’s head, a vampire who could be said to be Hellsing’s greatest weapon; and most annoying soldier. Elizabeth had gotten over any worry she may have had for her master when his helicopter was shot down by now as he seemed incapable of not going on and on about his ruined dress.
She shook her head before looking around the tent. Christopher Hellsing had yet to arrive at the tent, and another look showed just how out of place Elizabeth truly was. Elizabeth was a fair looking women, with long golden hair, and pale skin. Her scarlet red eyes where slit like a cats, and kept sweeping from side to side, giving a good shiver down anyone’s spine who wasn’t use to Vampires. She was dressed in a Victorian style dress; the dress itself was black with red stripes running down the length of it. It was by all means one of the plainer dresses she had in her collection, but still elegant in its own right compared to what most women wore these days. On her hips lay two twin style rapiers, there hand guards made of an entrecote design of metal rods wrapped around each other and moving over and under one another all the way down the hilt of her blade. The hand guards where steel, covered in golden leaf, and the blades where made of pure silver.
Elizabeth let out another sigh as Evelyn stopped trying to talk to her so he could get cleaned up. It was at this point that Christopher Hellsing arrived; she quickly went into a salute to the young master as he walked in. She had, had many years in the service of Hellsing, and as such was quite the militaristic one when she needed to be, despite her looks. She listened intently to the orders, a slight feeling of dread clinging insider her, people where bound to die this way. But on the same hand it appeared to be the only option. She followed the others in a salute as Sir Hellsing left. She hadn’t personally thought much about him, he was a Hellsing, and a proper Englishman, but more importantly her master served which was enough for her..
Her attention was quickly grabbed as the young master motioned for her, which prompted her to follow quickly. However, the words spoken by the young man, quickly made her view him as a young, arrogant, ignorant brat. She clenched her sword but made no threatening motion as she responded. “Young master, it would be wise to remember that my Master is an army division by himself. A vampire of no equal in all of Hellsing, and more. Making an enemy out of him would be unwise, as would doubting him. There is a reason why three generations of your family have relied on him. Please take my advice on being the fourth.” Her soft spoken voice carried a bit of a sting with the words. She would not sit idly by and let her master be badmouthed by a boy hardly out of his diapers, not matter the blood or the raising he had. “But.. If my Master has caused all of this, then put me on the roof of one of the APCs and I will provide covering fire. I may not be as good of a shot as my Lord, but I am better then any human. If anything where to come into my line of site, it will meet my bullets.” She stood there staring him down until he the time he replied, and then some. While it was clear she meant him no harm for now, that couldn’t be said for the future if he did something stupid..
However as he did walk off so did she, she had proceeded in reciting the entire conversation to Evelyn, as to apprise him of the situation and what was expected of him now. Hopefully he would act on it.. As she walked into the room she glanced over the faces caring not if any had heard there little conversation, she stayed away from most of them anyway. “Where do you want to place me?” She asked the Colonel as she walked over to him, both hands on her rapiers as the anticipation of the battle to come started to sink it.. Soon she would taste the blood of her enemies, that was if Evelyn hadn’t already killed them all.

Well this was a scene from a horror movie; a stadium overrun with ghouls and freaks, and here she could do nothing but hide, and wait for a rescue. It was humiliating on some level even if she couldn’t be expected to do anything about it.
She certainly didn’t expect things to go so completely wrong at the beginning, not when she started following that vampire an hour ago. It had taken months of searching to actually get a solid lead on the vampire group that effectively killed her and her family, and she was willing to be patient for a few more hours to get this particular one alone. Whether for safety, or just plain luck though, her target always kept himself in a position where she couldn’t strike; either staying in heavily populated areas, then meeting with some friends – vampires themselves, and travelling by car.
Following the vehicle was a simple enough affair; technology was a useful thing, especially tracking devices, it made tracing a speeding vehicle far less of a chore than normal. She gained a sense that something was wrong when they pulled up to that stadium the English people were so proud of – Old Trafford they called it. She’d never heard of a vampire with interest in sports, but then, such a place would be the last spot one expected vampires to gather. It could easily be a spot for a meeting, or perhaps they truly wanted to see the game, but either way, she had to follow, which meant spending good money on some idiocy she wouldn’t pay attention to, surrounded by drunken idiots.
The vampires being brazen enough to actually attack a crowded stadium never crossed her mind, up to the man pulling a gun.
Of course, the ‘man’ quickly proved himself to be another vampire when he effortlessly decimated everyone on the field. Just the thought of such an abomination having the gall to cause such unnecessary death was maddening, but to do so in public, it took the better part of her self-control to not draw a sniper rifle and show the abomination the true meaning of pain.
It was for the best that she was patient, as the continued sounds of gunfire signaled, there were far more freaks here than she thought. Hundreds of them at least, standing in the crowds and slaughtering the crowds of people with reckless abandon. In the midst of it all, her target had vanished, likely gone to help the planned attack. She had managed to stumble onto possibly the biggest vampire incident since the last World War, and she wasn’t conceited enough to believe that she would accomplish much on her own, not against these numbers.
As much as her pride and sense of duty screamed against it, she used the chaos to slip through the crowds, avoiding the freaks and finding various hiding spots, temporary pockets of calm in the frenzy of freaks and ghouls. She couldn’t simply leave things as they were, but if she killed one, all would be eventually alerted. At least until Hellsing was inside, she had to suppress her desires, and be patient, even in the face of so many dying.
It was over sooner than she expected; where was once full of screams, now echoed with the groans of ghouls as they spread out, being organized into an effective guard. From the sounds she was hearing, they had just shot down something, probably a helicopter – just how did they get their hands on that kind of artillery?
She didn’t have time to think about that, it was time to move; she had been there too long as it was. The lack of gunfire meant that Hellsing hadn’t begun their attack, so subtlety was still a priority, more so for the vampires than the mindless ghouls. Silently, she slipped along a wall, arriving in a long corridor. She was only a few steps in when she heard the soft steps of someone that was not her. They weren’t trying to be silent, so it was unlikely that they noticed her, but it was certainly headed in her direction, and with little options, she dashed forward, pushing on the first door that looked like it would open silently.
Even before the door closed, she stopped for half a second, taking in the person in the bathroom with her. She was a small thing, a child she would guess at first glance, and the oddest one she had ever saw; she was dressed in a white gothic dress that looked like it belonged on a doll, with her blond hair in large curls adorned with a bow. More importantly though, was her pale, glowing skin, red eyes, the mild indignation as she scrubbed at her dress, without a care for the bloodbath going on just outside.
The rest of the second was spent summoning five of her swords in each hand, tossing them all with honed precision at the vampire’s heart.

Five minutes later things were on their way to finished. The APC's had arrived on schedule and the soldiers of Hellsing were mounting up for the coming charge, it was a dangerous mission but these freaks could not be allowed to sully the name of the crown any longer. The last of the suns rays had disappeared off the horizon and now they truly were in darkness. The vehicles had turned their running lights off to attempt to cloak them best as they could, though if a vampire was manning the cannon that wouldn't really help but no reason to take chances. As she had claimed she would Elizabeth had taken a stand up on the top of the front APC where Colonel Clemins had assigned her. It was possible she might be able to hit the target as they ran forward but at the very least they hoped to draw the snipers fire and so this APC had a skeleton crew inside to play decoy. Christopher had forgiven her previous back mouthing since unlike her master she at least showed the initiative to try and aid them.
He had noted something peculiar about this whole event though. At their current range while a human would certainly not be able to fire it seemed highly unlikely that a freak couldn't achieve shots on their headquarters, yet it had not occurred. This hadn't come to him until a short time ago but now he kept expecting shots any moment yet they never came, this seemed to suggest something of the attackers motives. They wanted Hellsing to attack Old Trafford, they didn't want to make it easy but they did want them to get inside. Christopher couldn't begin to fathom the reason, they didn't want money, they didn't want anything, yet they weren't actively attacking either...was it all a game? It seemed unlikely even a brash freak would put themselves in a situation they knew they could never actually escape just for fun, at the same time there didn't seem to be anything to gain. He was truly confused.
These were the thoughts in his mind when the all-clear signal was reported and he began the countdown over the radio. At zero he issued the affirmation code and the vehicles went speeding off out of sight into the darkness, they disappeared rather quickly with all their lights turned off. Then he felt a firm hand grasp him around the shoulder and he was swept up and carried to the Hellsing tent entrance with lightning speed as a giant boom rocked the world around him. When he regained his bearings he found Niles standing over him and a few scant meters away where he had been standing was a giant crater where a cannon shell had smashed down. His prediction had been true, they had been in the guns range all along yet it only just now chose to start firing, in the background he heard the continuous pounding of cannon fire.
The APC's rushed across the open parking-lot toward Old Trafford. There was some flat ground to be had but just as many cars were being flattened or thrown right out of their wake due to the force, it was an awesome sight but was in fact slowing them down lengthening the time they were in the killing field with no real way to fire back. Despite her advanced eyesight it took Elizabeth some time to discover their attacker which was no real surprise when you considered the number of potential hiding spots in the stadiums upper-outside wall. Even when she did find the girl in the rafters connected to an outside hallway wielding a massive cannon there was no realistic way to hit her, especially amongst the bombardment she was laying down on them. Several APC's had chunks blown out of them though they were still on the move, then one particularly deft shot came front and center for a nearby APC.
Though Elizabeth only had a magnum the fragility of the shells being fired meant their trajectory could be altered, of course this was something no human could ever have accomplished. However with a clean shot she was able to alter the path so that it clipped the machine instead of taking it out. She would quickly realize though that it had been a ploy by her opponent, just as she had spotted her so to had the attacker likely seen her. When Elizabeth had been busy taking the attack out and saving her comrades another had been sent straight for her own vehicle and with no possible time to react it pierced the machine below her before it bulged as the shell exploded within. The APC buckled as its nose lifted upward and performed a spin so that if she didn't move it would land atop her. Worse yet once finally recovered she would find the others inside dead and herself still a good distance away from the entrance, against an accurate shooter with a big gun it would be suicide to try and run the distance even for a vampire. So for the moment she was stuck hiding behind the giant chunk of metal.
The play had paid off though as the other APC's reached the stadium shortly after with a few injuries sustained amongst the personnel but no deaths which was almost a miracle given the circumstances. They didn't waste time or chance being shot any further and instead slammed right into the glass and steel entrances before the troops began to unload. Curiously as if not concerned by this turn of events the shooter instead returned her attention back to Elizabeth rather than worrying about the infiltration. Every few seconds a shell would slam into the APC or somewhere in the dirt around her trying to toy her into coming out, and she would have to eventually because after enough shots the APC wasn't going to be much of a shield.
Meanwhile the soldiers inside moved with the tight control for which they were known, Hellsing only recruited the best after all. The entry hall was far from empty as there were dozens of ghouls meandering about, beneath them was the scene of a horror film, the corpses of hundreds of other civilians that had simply been ripped apart instead of turned. Though it was on a greater scale than anyone here had witnessed the more important part was staying alive and fulfilling their duties. With that in mind the soldiers began opening fire and the ghouls were pulverized into a thousand pieces, to slow to really be of threat to the holy weapons of the Protestant Knights. Whether they had caught the attackers off guard or the freaks were simply toying with them there were no actual vampires or other creatures here as the soldiers finished off the last of the undead. This information was of course relayed at all times and across the parking lot Christopher was getting a terrible feeling in his gut that some intricate trap was being laid for them.
At one point the leader of Squad 1 commented over the radio, “Lieutenant Victorian remain where you are. We're moving in on the objective.”
This of course meant they were ready to move up and take out the cannon sniper, but the request was easier said than done. Her foe was having a field day whittling Elizabeths one source of cover, the few cars she could sprint to would have been torn apart in one shot from that cannon but at the same time the APC didn't have much left in the way of buffer itself.
Inside the teams began splitting up to do their duties. First Squad had the seemingly easiest job as the stairwell to the upper halls was right off the main lobby, a little over a dozen men began scrambling up the stairwell. Meanwhile Squad 2 and 3 were busy eliminating the ghouls before them, it would take some time before the halls were clear enough for Squad 3 to take up positions at the doors leading to the field itself. Though it was doubtful many of them thought of such things in battle, it was difficult to believe that just an hour or so ago these had been regular every day people. Mothers, fathers, sons, daughters, families. Christopher did not forget though, this transgression would be paid for a thousand fold of that it was a certainty...but when it was over, how were they to deal with what was to come then?
Squad 1 moved up the stairwell with trained ability, there were over five stories worth to take but they did so with speed. There wasn't anything to stand in their way, ghouls weren't the nimblest of creatures so even if the attackers had the smarts to use them to guard areas (like the sewers) there wasn't much that could be done about using them to guard the stairwells. Ghouls under more powerful vampires tended to be more capable but these were clearly just your average garden variety undead and would as soon have tripped and fallen down the flight than ate your face. So nothing stopped the First Squad from making its way to the top without hindrance. Naturally though when they reached the closed top floor door they paused and began silently exchanging hand signals to order what would be done when the door was thrown open. After all if they hadn't stationed defenses on the way up that meant there had to be something waiting behind the door.
After a brief moment it was flung open and bullets instantly began whizzing back and forth from both sides. The Hellsing knights fired at a trio of heavily armored black spec-ops looking soldiers who returned fire, their foes seemed to have better armor and had the highly effective American M4 rifles but the Hellsings greatly outnumbered them. There was nowhere really to hide except the doorway but the attackers didn't have much in the way of cover either except to hang low to the ground. One of their own soldiers was clipped but in exchange they got several solid hits on one of the enemies and he sank to the floor, a closer look would have revealed a headshot. With the incoming fire reduced the Hellsings grew more brash and moved in allowing them to concentrate their fire more directly.
Another foe fell to the ground. But knowing his time was short the last of their enemies cocked the underbarrel of his gun and only a few shouts could be let out before a grenade hurtled toward the Hellsing soldiers and exploded behind them, sending most flying. When the dust had cleared the survivors rose to find the last of the enemies had been impaled by a piece of flying shrapnel from his own weapon. Most went about securing their downed friends who had taken hits but wouldn't die if they acted promptly, meanwhile two soldiers inspected the enemy as they pulled off their mask. After a brief look the knelled man recoiled with a bit of surprise before he looked up to his comrade.
“This guy's human! What are they doing working with the vampires? Were these the guys firing on-”
Before he could finish his sentence the mans head was blown off and replaced by a gaping red spot. There was no time for anyone to express surprise at his sudden loss though as heavy cannon fire began ripping through them, the bullets made for armor were turning the soldiers into flayed pieces of flesh. The shots passed right through them and slammed into the wall beyond, eventually collapsing the upper stairwell so that it could no longer be utilized. Thankfully it didn't collapse the ENTIRE stairwell or half the building might have come down.
When it was clear all the soldiers were dead a young looking woman with red eyes appeared from the dark where she had been hiding. She was sporting short dark hair, a black leather jacket, and one gigantic cannon slung over her shoulder. She moved to ensure her foes were finished before she looked down at the three men who had clearly been on her side with what might have been a bit of pity, then she removed the unlit cigarette she had dangling from her lips.
“I varned you humans abvout coming on the suicides mission. Ah'vell. I shall light a candle for you once leaving, you've done well yes?” She spoke in a mild Russian accent to nobody in particular.
Then after tallying the situation she whipped the large gun off the her back and aimed it out the nearest window, “Vack to the job at hand, com've out com've out little Hellsing”, she mocked her prey from afar before she began to open fire on the APC behind which Elizabeth had taken shelter. She was clearly toying with her at this point as if she'd simply shot a bullet down the center it would easily have smashed through the vehicles worn armor and obliterated what was on the other side at this point.
--------------
About a quarter way around the diameter of the arena lay a particular bathroom which had exploded into a firefight just moments before the Hellsing soldiers had entered through the front. When the damnable girl with the cannon had shot down the helicopter Evelyn had been in the crash had ripped the arm of his dress, he knew there was nothing that could be done about that until he got home but there was another issue. When one of the pilots had the gall to bleed out he had chosen to do so on top of Evelyn, now the vampire lord was spending a great deal of time and effort trying to brush the color out to no real avail, it stained worse than wine. When Elizabeth had contacted him about Christopher having some complaint or another he pretty much tuned it out, the boys lack of humor was a total buzzkill to him and if the young Hellsing really thought he could take him he was in for a terrible surprise should he try. Thankfully he suspected this was known and most of these threats were simply of the political necessity variety, nobody willingly threw out their trump card, Evelyn was self-aware enough to know this was him.
He had been gritting his teeth and rubbing furiously, almost hard enough to damage the fabric, at a particularly stubborn stain when the girl wandered in. His first reaction had been to just look up at her with a smile, he was always intrigued by people with a good survival instinct (which you'd need to survive here), it always reminded him of himself. But before anything could be said she went pulling some fancy magical bullshit and a bunch of painful looking swords were heading his direction. Evelyn didn't look particularly concerned though as his form momentarily went black and he shifted positions at the last moment so the blades just impaled a whole lot of wall instead. He reappeared a scant few feet away but was now floating in mid-air more at the level of Katherines face.
“Iscariot, here? Isn't that breaking something like seventy treaties with us?” He cocked his head to the side and smiled, “I wonder what you could possibly hope to gather from-”
He didn't get to finish though as the wall next to them exploded. It seemed the thing that Katherine had attempted to dodge by coming into the bathroom in the first place had been attracted to the commotion. What stood there was an excessively large werewolf, roughly five times the size of the average beast. Evelyn had, had a run-in with a few similar specimens before, there didn't seem to be anything special about it, some just grew to be big but in is experience that's all it was...strong, but lacking any other really notable facets. It was in full-on wolf form and its head swiveled from one of them to the next before it spoke in a low growl.
“You belong to Hellsing? How'd you get in without us noticing? Eh, don't matter.”
And then he charged, Evelyn through both his arms out and a machine-gun flew out from somewhere under his dress until he grasped one in each hand. He raised the weapons and aimed at the charging monster wasting no time opening fire, he didn't really concern himself with the Iscariot girl. There was an order of priority when these sort of situations came up and in the end the giant werewolf might even provide a good opportunity to shoot her in the back while he was at it.

"Excuse me miss, but could you show me your ticket?" A middle-age man garbed in the official Old Brandford staff uniform asked a average sized young woman standing in the middle of the walkway in the middle row of the western side, watching the football game with a disinterested look on her face with her arms crossed over her chest. She wore a heavy looking dark brown coat with a high collar obscuring most of her features from the man as her fairly long 'light brown' hair was in the way on the sides. She didn't seem to notice the man at first but when he nudged her on the shoulder (being slightly taller) she practically spun around as she raised her arms in a defensive manner (though not really an efficient one). The man himself was taken aback by this sudden change in her behavior and though slightly alarmed he seemed pretty collected as he once again asked "Miss, your ticket please." The woman herself calmed down and let her arms fall though she seemed a bit nervous as she looked around for something. "Oh yes, I forgot where my seat was so I thought I'd just watch from here if that's alright." She said with a light but somewhat tense tone to her voice in an attempt to change the subject however the man had been in this business for many years and was not so easy to lead astray. "Yes, that is fine however I still need to see your ticket." The mans insistance clearly began to aggravate the girl as her silver colored eyes tensed up slightly before she turned away from him. "Of course, I left it in my bag at the seat, follow me." She said as she began to walk down the steps though she didn't get far before the man seemed to realize what she just said contradicted what she had said previously. "Wait, you said you didn't- Hey, wait, stop!" But before he had actually caught her the woman had taken off in impressive speed as she made her way into the structure avoiding other local security. When two guards spotted her running around a corner they knew only leading to a storage area they thought they had her, but as they rounded the corner all they found was the coat she had worn on the floor, with no trace of the woman herself. Though it was a minor thing one of the guards noticed how the coat still had it's price-tag and the small alarm-tag that most stores used to protect from theft... Shortly afterwards Lina watched the field from atop the roof of the structure, a look of great annoyance being on her face as she brushed part of her hair that obscured her silvery eyes. Without "her" coat Lina appeared more clearly for someone who would look at her, though in her current location that was unlikely. She stood at roughly 165 centimeters tall with a slender build though with some obvious muscle growth having taken place during the last year she had been on the run. She had light brown, almost blonde hair that she must have cut herself due to how uneven it was, with it hanging down slightly past her shoulders on the back and sides and just enough to cover her eyes on the front if she let it hang freely. She had slightly darkened lines around her eyes like if she had a thin layer of eyeliner but otherwise she did not appear to have any "makeup" on her rounded face with a fairly sharp chin to compliment it and a small button-nose. In the form of clothes she wore an unadorned black dress-shirt with short sleeves that seemed a slight bit too tight around her (somewhat average) bust, and on her legs she wore form-fitting black jeans-like trousers that was held up with a black leather belt with a bronze buckle with a faint cross-like shape on it. She wore thin black leather gloves over her hands which covered up to her wrists and on her feet she wore average "sports shoes" with little ornamentation and while they had once been white they had now become more gray due to not being properly maintained. For something that was made such a big deal of she just didn't get this "sport", men running around kicking a ball around while all the people around them cheered or yelled so much she felt her eardrums were about to shatter. How could people stand this sort of thing? It was beyond her understanding and she was about to simply go back to her current hiding place when something caught her attention. Out from the stands a man suddenly ran out onto the field and though she couldn't see him clearly from here it was obvious he wasn't part of the staff or a player though Lina didn't expect much of a "show" when the nearby security were on him instantly suggesting this might not be such an uncommon occurance after all. However when the man pulled something resembling a gun out and began to practically destroy anyone nearby with speed and terrifying efficiency one couldn't really expect from a human being Lina instantly laid down flat on the surface she was on actively trying to hide this time as it was now clear whatever was down there was not human, probably a vampire, though as she had previously only met one and it had been a brief meeting she had decided to study up on them a bit in case she'd encounter more. The one thing she knew at least was that even the average weak kind could rip her a new one should they catch her and while she was fast that was by human standards... Better safe than sorry. her decision proved to have been the correct one as a full-on slaughter began with dozens if not a hundred supernatural creatures made their precense known inside the panicking crowd. Despite how much people had been inside Old Brandford it didn't take long before the chorus of screams turned into a few distant shouts or pleas, with people lying dead in the thousands, many having been drained of blood by the vampires present. This place was going to become Ghoul paradise soon... The smart thing to do now would be to just get the fuck away, but no one seemed to have noticed her yet and she was curious what would happen now that they had done such a massive and brash attack on the Brittish people. The fact she had just witnessed the horrifying deaths of thousands didn't really seem to bother her terribly much, which either showed how tough she was or how uncaring of life other than her own was... It didn't take very long before the sound of helicopters became audible in the distance and hearing this Lina decided to shift her position to under a nearby exposed panel in the white roof due to her black clothing, whoever was approaching might believe her to be part of what happened here and that wasn't a good thing. Though she couldn't tell the number of choppers circling the area now one or two came too close and was promptly shot down by anti-air or armor ballistics, she could have sworn she saw something move in the wreck of one of the choppers though... Eh, just imagination. She looked about to see if she could find a safe place to move to, as she wanted to see what else was going on here as apparently the Brittish military was mounting a counter-offensive though how they were to deal with vampires and other monsters she really had no idea... She wondered if there might just be something in it for her if she helped them out? Of course, she'd be really careful about it, not like she'd risk her neck for people she didn't know if there was no sure reward! With her mind settled Lina turned her head in the other direction and seemingly faded from sight, shortly after fading back into existence almosteighty meters away on a lower section of the roof overlooking the area outside the stadium, watching the large number of tents being set up by the military and some other group she did not recognize. After a while it seemed whatever preparations they had deemed necessary was in order and their soldiers began to mount into APC's apparently preparing for a frontal assault... Suicidal idiots. As they began however she noticed how there was what appeared to be woman in an odd dress standing on the front of the foremost APC like if it was nothing... From this distance she couldn't really tell but unless they were in the habit of killing women before every battle Lina guessed whoever that was she wasn't human and so could handle the feat that was balancing perfectly along a speeding vehicle and capable of withstanding incoming fire that was likely to be directed at her for being such an exposed target. What followed was actually far less of a one-sided slaughter than Lina had expected as several shots from the anti-armor, that were apparently just a floor or two below her, were deflected by the woman's dead-eye accurate revolver fire though it brought her attention away long enough for whoever was shooting at them to crash the APC either killing or pinning the girl down as the person seemed intent on not letting whoever it was move from there even as the other APC's made their way into the entrance with a loud crash as they broke through the entryway. Skip forward roughly half a minute and Lina now sat inside one of a few airvent junctions inside the structure allowing someone of her size to actually fit in there, as she watched the room in which she assumed the cannon bearer would be in, though as the soldiers from earlier rushed in through the stairway three mercenary-like men made themselves visible as they opened fire and even as two fell the last seemed intent on not giving up as he fired a grenade from his rifle which sadly enough ended with him impaling himself on splinters... Ah well, less for her to worry about. She just hoped the soldiers themselves were alive since else her little "rescue" operation would be in vain, and was somewhat relieved when one came within view. However the fact that they didn't quite seem to have their guard up made her want to scream in frustration, obviously there was still a threat there as they had yet to face bloody cannon fire! Though wether she actually would have warned them or not they were soon dead as shells capable of turning their bodies to mush without exploding began to strike them and though Lina could not see most of the destruction it wrought she could feel the stairway collapsing and heard the bodies falling along with her common sense telling her they were lost. Retards... It didn't take long for the corridor to grow silent once again, followed shortly by footsteps weightened down by something and it became aparent what when a woman who didn't seem much older than Lina herself, possibly a few years or so, though probably older than she looked as the massive cannon she carried around suggested she was a vampire, which the pale skin only affirmed. Taking in what was visible while avoiding moving, knowing motion was more revealing than anything else Lina wasn't quite able to tell much more other than that the woman had dark colored hair and wore a black leather jacket with a lit cigarette resting on her lips which she shortly removed as she spoke seemingly adressing the dead humans in a russian accent, probably her way of "honoring their sacrifice", as pointless as it may be. Then after seemingly making sure, but not enough, that there were no one else in the room the woman turned back to whomever was stuck outside, firing a few warning shots or attempts to break through the APC probably trying to scare whomever was there out of hiding for a clear shot. Well sadly for this vampire that moment would never come as Lina had had enough of sitting around, and just a few seconds later a supernatural darkness fell on the woman, not enough to obscure vision completely but clearly noticable and her enhanced vampiric perception did not appear to be helpful at all, however wether she would have reacted appropriately at all or not didn't matter as just a split second later a long thin blade pieced her heart through her back while simultaneously a long-dagger was pushed in under her left exposed arm-pit, both piercing the heart. "Should off have taken your own advice." Lina whispered into the vampires ear before she pulled back and twisted both blades completely crushing whatever was left of the heart causing the dying vampire to almost drop the cannon as she fell to her knees though having 'lost her strength' she was still trying to stand however she was visibly shocked by what had happened but almost seemed more pissed than frightened about it. Standing behind the dying vampire was Lina, however one who had seen her previously would hardly have been able to tell it was actually her, as a supernatural darkness shrouded the area in her immediate surroundings but seemed to be the thickest around Lina herself, almost forming a cloak of shadows though it seemed to attempt to take a more intricate form but unable to. Her previous silvery eyes were almost ablaze at this point with the two blades, one of western longsword design with an average black metal guard and a black gemstone adorning the end of the hilt along with a dagger that seemed more exotic in origin with a curved blade that seemed like it would be very painful to ones insides, it too had a black gemstone though on the base of the blade instead shaped like a small scarab. Not wanting to risk an enemy appearing while she had her guard down Lina remained in her current state as the vampire did her best to turn around and look at her as she tried to sputter a few words while bleeding from the mouth. "You sneaky... Bi-" Though she was cut off as a great deal of pain seemed to shoot through her body as she nearly went into a spasm, which ended when Lina drove her sword into the womans skull, with just enough force to nail it to the floor. While not blessed weaponry, having aimed for the weak points Lina had been able to bring down a vampire through stealth, though this was also her greatest strength at this point so that was to be expected. Having finished her business with the vampire Lina turned her attention to the sound of a receiver which had fallen out of one of the soldiers hands when they were slaughtered, apparently in the middle of reporting the situation when they were killed and so she could hear a faint voice from the other side suggesting whoever it was was shouting. Still keeping her wits about her Lina moved across the room and took another glance around the room before she finally picked it up. ["Squad 1, What happened? Has the target been secured? Report your situation!"] This message was repeated slightly differently every few seconds and after hearing it twice Lina decided to respond. "Dead." She said bluntly, feeling no need to sugarcoat it for their leaders as they had been idiots to send them in to begin with. ["What? Who is this!? Are you with the freaks!?"] The radio operator asked angrily while yelling prompting Lina to move the thing from her ear while she rolled her eyes in an annoyed manner. "I'm just wandering by, happened upon your troops and a bitch with a cannon, she's dead now by the way you can thank me later. I'd like to speak with someone a little more important if you don't mind, sho." She 'explained' while giving the impression of speaking with a child.

As soon as the vampire warped, Katherine summoned a pair of her modified magnums, resigning herself to a loud, violent fight since she had the luck to stumble onto an elite vampire. At this point, it was best to just hope that Hellsing was making enough noise to let her kill the monster in peace. Her gun was lined with the vampire’s head when she made herself known, but her words were surprising. So she had run into Hellsing’s pet vampire? It wasn’t going to stop Kate from killing her; the gothic vampire was clearly not very interested in dealing with the vampire infestation, and the only good vampire was a dead one as far as she was concerned.
She didn’t get the opportunity to silence the vampire with a head-shot though, as the wall exploded, and an absurdly large werewolf stumbled in, rumbling about them being with Hellsing. Taking a step back to keep both creatures in sight, she aimed both magnums at the oversized wolf, letting loose a volley of shots at its vital points – being that large just made it an equally big target, and while the vampire was by far the bigger threat, leaving that thing running around was just going to be distracting. She could shoot the vampire when she got the opportunity.

All things told the insertion had gone remarkably well. They had lost two soldiers when the APC had been taken out but then the drivers had agreed to the extremely dangerous proposition in the first place. Elizabeth wasn't dead but she was pinned down, however in her stead every other soldier they had sent in the charge made it into Old Trafford. With this large force inside they could achieve their goals more quickly, hopefully the first squad would move with speed and in turn Elizabeth would be able to enter as well. Christopher wasn't relying on it though, his forebearers had been smart men but as he grew up he had noticed one weakness they had. His grandfather, and especially his father, seemed to rely all to much on the vampires and other powerful beings under their command. It wasn't that this was not a valid tactic, it was simply that relying on them to much could get you into trouble if one day you found yourself lacking them.
He sat in an office-chair directly behind the communications board, a large series of radio-sets and TV monitors (currently displaying the various civilian news stations on mute) in the now darkened tent. Before him three officers and Colonel Clemins kept in constant contact with the assaulting forces. Christopher would have liked to have taken a more direct role but was all to aware these other men proved superior to him in that regard, perhaps in the future? For now he best served in prior planning and handling the overall maintenance of the Hellsing Organization, that did however make him feel wonderfully useless during operations such as these. For a time he would sit around looking smarmy, but that just made him feel like his father and he hated that, then he tried to be helpful but that just put him in the way of people doing the real work.
He eventually just settled on listening as closely as he could to the comm chatter and reciting it to memory so at a later date he could put it to use. As he did he realized it was going smoothly...too smoothly one could almost say, it seemed highly unlikely someone brash enough to stage this sort of attack wouldn't have made preparations for when the authorities arrived. Hellsing might have been unknown to most civilians but in the occult world they were infamous, there weren't many freaks out there not aware of them to some degree and their response to this situation would be inevitable. As a leader he should have been pleased with the fast progress they were making as hallways were checked off and positions were claimed, but all he could manage was an unsettled concern. He was just waiting for something to go wrong, some might have called that pessimistic, maybe his enemies really were that stupid, but a good leader was prepared for the worst.
The first signs of trouble occurred when the operator over squad 1 apparently lost contact. They had been about to breach the door to the upper floor moments prior so it didn't take a rocket scientist to figure out what must have occurred. Christopher was already running other possible plans of claiming the vantage point when the operator belted out at whoever was on the other end causing everyone in the tent to look toward him in surprise. As he finished Clemins had run up to the radio he was speaking to and flipped a switch so that the voice on the other end filled the room, clearly having realized whoever was speaking hadn't been squad 1. Clemins had been ready to pick up the receiver when the man in charge of squad 2 called out to him, apparently they too had run into a problem and the Colonel seemed to deign the latter situation more important as he moved away from squad 1.
Christopher listened to them bicker back and forth for a bit before Clemins got on the radio and began giving orders. The mysterious voice had already been on hold for nearly half a minute and while it wasn't near as important as his own soldiers it seemed something needed to be said. He had a good idea of what was going on and whom he was talking to, others might not have been but then he dealt with the strange and occult on a daily basis. He also had a way with words, after all that was the primary emphasis of his training, of course that training had been cut short but he'd walked away with a great deal regardless. Thus he knew exactly how to handle this kind of person, he walked up and retrieved the receiver to the operators surprise and clasped the button so he could be heard.
“I am unsure of your intentions and motives but if what you've said is true and you've bothered contacting us then it's safe to assume you are not our enemy at present. Your options are this, help my soldiers and I'll aid whatever you want within reason, or stay out of our way. Good day to you.”
He set the headset down and flipped the switch, he noted his two keepers and Colonel Clemins giving him brief bemused looks. Though it had been a bit flippant you couldn't chance things in this case, it had been brief but neutral. Trying to make friends could get you in trouble if the enemy was playing you, but similarly you didn't want to make enemies where it wasn't necessary. This way it was left up to the individuals discretion without anyone here having to become overly involved. He was thinking about this as he looked to Clemins who had returned to his order giving, he looked to Niles questioningly.
His oft silent butler added quietly, “It seems squad 2 has run into a problem in the East wing, a heavily armed vampire. We aren't losing many soldiers but they are incapable of moving on and securing the rest of the facility. Similarly those moving to the West wing are reporting gunfire from ahead concurrent with Evelyn's weaponry. That being the case Clemins has ordered them to move forward at a slower pace as to not get wrapped up in one of his over-the-top schemes.”
Christopher mulled that over as he watched Clemins work, he was speaking to Elizabeth now, “Lieutenant Victorian I need you in that East wing now! We can't move forward with our plans until the vampire is removed.” He was almost glad that they were running into resistance now, though it certainly wasn't because he liked his soldiers dieing. It just made the situation less suspicious and as long as his soldiers were engaging an enemy they were more likely to spot any possible traps being set instead of lackadaisically being lulled into a sense of security.
During a brief pause in Clemins constant talking he asked, “What's the ETA on the Anti-Freak unit?”
Clemins looked to him out of the corner of his eye but before he could check to answer the man who had been originally manning the squad 1 radio spoke up. “Sir they've just arrived, they'll be here in just a moment. We figured it was best to brief them on the up-to-the-minute situation instead of simply sending them straight to the fight”, when he finished Clemins shot the man a thumbs-up as he went right back around relaying orders to squad 2 on how to maneuver around their roadblock.
Christopher didn't really like that this decision had been made without his ascent. However since it would have been his decision irregardless he decided to let it slip and bring it up at a later date when it would seem less petty. As he watched the men hard at work his mind wandered to Evelyn, he was still annoyed with him but if his men could link up with the master vampire then they could start pointing his power where it was most needed. Things would not last very long once that happened.
--------------
Both the Vatican warrior and Evelyn's bullets tore through the large werewolf, yet it did not fold. There may not have been much more to it except raw strength but in this case that might well have been enough. Evelyn had seen those blessed bullets of his tear through a dozen ghouls or a vampire in one shot, he knew Iscariot was similarly supplied, so it was testament to the beasts power that it still kept coming after over a dozen shots from both. Of course this didn't come without significant pain and it let out a piercing howl that echoed through the facility in conjunction with the bullet hits. Seeming to realize it couldn't just sit around and outlast these two opponents the animal surged forth with speed unfitting its large frame. Evelyn gave a brief chuckle as it went toward the Iscariot woman with both hands and slammed into the wall behind her bringing it down in the process, carrying enough strength with it to crush a human if they got caught in between. Evelyn didn't have time to discover the end result though as just as he had laughed at the girl two smaller werewolves had sprung from the shadow of the first right in his direction.
Evelyn had quickly turned his guns on the new attackers and while one was quickly ripped apart where it fell to the floor of the bathroom in spasms before it reverted back to its original human form. The other however made it up to him before it could be finished, however in a competition of speed there was really little comparison. As the creature launched forward it simply passed through Evelyn, then shown to be nothing but a mist version of himself. Confused, the werewolf came to a sliding halt and began searching for his target, in the next instant though his head was blown in as Evelyn appeared from the ceiling above, having laid flat against it. The day was not done though as he floated to the ground and turned to see multiple gleaming red eyes appeared in the hole the larger werewolf had initially created.
It was then that he spotted the Iscariot girl on the other side of the still lumbering creature. He laughed aloud at her and with his gun still in-hand he made a half salute in her direction, “You two play nice, K'?”
He pointed his guns toward the vampires gathering outside with a manic smile as he shouted, “You bastards...”, he opened fire as he darted toward them far faster than the younger vampires could respond as he kicked ones head in and it plowed facelong into the ceiling above them, “RIPPED MY DRESS!!!”
He held one gun in each direction in the hallway beyond, his white dress and white-washed blond hair bellowing in the speed induced wind. Then he began opening fire with each, tracing the vampires movements as they scattered. Seeming to realize whom they were dealing with at the last moment. A more tactical individual might have taken away from this that they were somewhat informed of who they were fighting and whom Evelyn was. Most would also have considered that they weren't just dealing with some egotistical children if vampires and werewolves were working together, that implied some form of organization. Of course to realize that would require someone who actually gave a shit, he just wanted to kill them, quite evidenced by the fact that several more of the younglings exploded into dust as his arms followed them on a swivel.
Meanwhile the large werewolf was still trying to catch Katherine. If it could catch her it would smash her to pieces, luckily being small and in-shape seemed to be winning the day as every time it would rush forward she would just not be there anymore. She wasn't quite as fast as Evelyn who seemed to teleport (to the average eye) when he wanted to but it was close enough and the creature was missing every time. Whenever it did so there was an obvious flow of anger building up inside as its moves became more aggressive and it was now emitting a near constant growl behind clenched teeth. Finally having had enough it's bloodshot yellow eyes locked onto the girl, it reared back and then charged its full body forward much like the first attack before jamming itself and anything in-between into the wall. While this all but guaranteed whatever was in front of it would die after it had completed the charge it found the upper half of its body stuck in the wall, and though it would probably fix this shortly for a brief few seconds its backside was utterly exposed.

Generally, most creatures that were shot with her magnums ended up with multiple holes littering their bodies, so it was with mild interest and amusement that Kate watched the werewolf take the rounds from both her and the vampire and still stand. Granted, the amusement might have had more to do with its howls of pain than anything else, but this wasn’t the time to savor the beast’s suffering, not while it could still move as fast as it charged at her. She made a note to shoot the vampire in the mouth a few times later as she moved out of the werewolf’s path, replacing her guns with two swords that found themselves lodged in the beast’s back.
At this point the vampire took it on herself to taunt her some more before attacking the others, yelling about her dress. And people said that her priorities were messed up, at least she didn’t kill anyone over clothing. In fact, she had to make sure not to kill any of the commanders immediately; she was slightly curious as to why vampires and werewolves were working together, but it was more of a passing fancy compared to the original reason she came here to begin with, and she doubted that the crazy gothic vampire would actually think to question anyone.
The werewolf was on her again, and once again caught nothing but a few more swords impaled into its torso. Kate observed the raging beast with malice visible to the densest being, her psychotic grin at the werewolf’s howls of pain speaking of the enjoyment she was getting out of its suffering. Indeed, she wasn’t missing any truly vital points on its body by accident, and as the werewolf became more aggressive and sloppy, its mind long lost in anger and pain, Kate’s smirk managed to grow even bigger as she methodically impaled the werewolf on new blades, waiting for it to run out of steam on its own. Eventually, whether it had completely snapped, or was acting out of pure desperation, it locked onto her, and with an enraged howl charged right at her, in a repeat of its first failed attack. Of course it went about as well as it did the first time, Kate dodging without effort and the werewolf slamming into yet another part of the wall. Of course, a being of its strength could free itself in a few seconds, but that was a few seconds too late.
The wolf’s body ripped out of the wall with a deafening howl of pain echoing through the destroyed bathroom, its body tipping backwards as its shattered kneecaps gave way under its enormous weight. The werewolf landed heavily, the impact driving the swords in even deeper, all but severing its legs. The howls of agony were like music to Kate, even as she added more swords to the beast’s arms, effectively pinning it to the floor.
“In the end, you were just all muscle, no brains, how dull.” Somewhere in the werewolf’s mind, the situation it was in might have started to sink in when Kate walked into its field of vision, inspecting its effectively ruined arms, before looking out at the gothic vampire’s rampage. “She’s having fun. I suppose that I could wait until she’s done before we fight.” Kate pressed the tip of a sword right above the werewolf’s eyelid, lightly dragging it across, just severing the skin. “But until then, entertain me a bit more, would you?”
If the werewolf had any idea what Kate intended to do, it would likely start praying for Hellsing’s pet vampire to finish up quickly….

(OOC: Its pretty late so the quality might not be so good. But here it is)
Yep, she had to open her mouth.. And now here she was, standing atop an APC with nothing more then a revolver. A six shot, revolver.. And she was suppose to be taking out something similar to bazooka shells.. Happy days...
The whole time that this was being set up you can bet your last dollar that Elizabeth was convening her dissatisfaction with the situation that Evelyn had placed her in. She threw in the guilt trip of how it was his fault that he could very well be loosing his beloved doll on this mission, and that people where sure to die because he hadn’t taken care of business. Just like a man, leaving a woman to clean up after him.
With a huff she broke of her little rant and began scanning the stadium as the APCs charged forward. Her revolver pointed forward as she continued looking, a tad overwhelmed by the sheer size of Old Trafford despite being a vampire. It wasn’t until the insanely large muzzle flash of the cannon that she spotted her target. By that time it was far too late for her to even think of getting a shot off at the target, she was to busy now dropping the shells that hurled there way. Perhaps her master may have been able to, but she couldn’t even see a good spot to shot her target, she was just too well protected.
One after another, the relentless reign of cannon fire made the short trip seem nearly endless to Elizabeth as she lined up each shot. However, the attacker did a rather skillful one which required her to turn in order to stop it from killing her allies. It was at that point she realized it was a trap, she looked back in horror as the shell made impact with the front end of the APC. She instinctively jumped into the air above the rising APC as the shell ruptured. The bottom of her dress caught on fire from the explosion as the APC slammed back down, turning to its side as sparks flew up. Right before she fell back down she managed to get off one last shot which struck the last of the shells inbound for the APCs.
The other APCs rocketed past Elizabeth as she hit the ground. She made a quick roll, which extinguished the flames before they could do much damage, before sprinting up to the destroyed vehicle. Her back slammed into the APC as she lifted her dress, pulling out a quick reload ammo kit. Quickly reloading her revolver she sighed a bit as she looked into the APC threw the destroyed front end, showing a few body parts of the crew driving it. At least they didn’t have a full load..
She quickly peaked over the APC to see that all of the other APCs had made it. It was at that point that the cannon slammed into the hide of the APC, rocking it violently causing Elizabeth to duck as the fire from the explosion rolled over it. At this point it seemed to be a game of biding her time. If Squad one could disable her before she could destroy the APC then she won, if not.. Well Elizabeth would rather not think like that.. Despite being a virtual recluse from the Hellsing Organization, she knew the effectiveness of there soldiers and thus placed some hope in them. But on the other hand, humans versus a Vampire with a massive cannon didn’t bode well..
As the cannon fire broke she dared a quick look to the side of the APC, only to see the carnage unfold as the enemy Vampire shredded the Hellsing operatives nearly instantly. She couldn’t even get a shot when her enemy was facing away from her! Damn it all! She thought as she slammed her fist into the APC. However she was quickly forced to jump back to the middle of the APC as the Vampire resumed her attack on her, obviously toying with her captured prey at this point.. Oh how it burned her that she was being played with by some TENTH rate vampire that by rights should be shaking in fear from the simply fact that her master was in a hundred mile radius of her. The gall of this filth and utter excuse of a Vampire filled Elizabeth with rage as she imagined the number of times she was going to pierce the bitch with her blades. Ohh when she got out of here that sewer trash was going to pay for sure. To top all that off, she had burnt up Evelyn’s dress.. Something which Elizabeth was going to have to suffer threw for god knows how long! PAIN LOTS OF PAIN!!
It was while she was contemplating the demise of her captor that an odd voice filled the com. It seemed that the bitch with the cannon had been killed, and Elizabeth was not the one to do it.. It was at this point that her military mindset kicked in as she questioned the person on the com. “How do we know that this is not a trick to get our person behind the APC to come out and that you are not in fact the enemy?” A fair question indeed but one that she had not the time to wait for an answer to as she was ordered to the East Wing. “As you wish commander.” She answered Clemins as she bolted out from behind the APC.
She proceeded in a Zig-zag fashion as her eyes stayed on where the girl who had killed the Vampire bitch (her new official title) had been. She watched for any signs of aggression as her new angle gave her the chance to fire back if she tried anything. However things went smoothly as she made her way inside of Old Trafford. Squad two had done an excellent job clearing the way as she ran into no resistance as she made her way to them.
The sounds of gunfire filled the hall as torrents of rounds ripped threw a nearby corridor. It seemed that Elizabeth had caught up with Squad Two as they remained behind cover as the hellfire of bullets kept coming. Elizabeth was forced to hide behind cover as the Vampire targeted her. Damn it, what was with these bastards and pinning her?! She clenched her fist as she shouted to Squad Two’s commander. “Any ideas?”

In hindsight Lina was beginning to regret ever getting involved in this mess, normally at the first sight of trouble she'd have gotten as far away as he power allowed her disregarding anyone that wasn't her. Though it was clearly not her suddenly feeling like helping people out at random, this was people who fielded soldiers ready to throw their lives away against supernatural beings and with vampires and who knows what else among their ranks... This meant they might just have something she wanted, information. Still a maybe wasn't worth risking your life over and so every second that ticked away without her getting an answer on the radio she had to resist her natural temptation to simply run away from the site, instead she remained crouched on the floor near the center of the room easily out of range for any snipers on the ground outside and anyone who entered the shadow-covered room would at least need a moment to locate her, which would give her the moment she would need to either shut them up good or escape. It wasn't long before whom she assumed was the vampire behind the APC cut in on the radio however, questioning Lina regarding the situation.
Considering the girl of no importance she ignored the message for now and kept focusing on the different entrances to the area though she'd be sure to tell that bitch just how many mistakes she had made today at a later point, assuming they didn't start shooting at her of course. It took nearly every last bit of restraint in Lina to keep from running away as it took nearly another twenty seconds before anyone 'important' deigned to give her a reply, she wasn't expecting the one she got however. Lina was practically speechless for several reasons, first of which being the voice itself but almost as big of a deal was the way it had been delivered, she did their dirty work for them and they had a friggin' child respond and tell her what to do!? She wasn't about to stand for that, no bloody way! Angry due to what she had taken as a demeaning statement Lina stood up after assessing her surroundings once more as she walked up to one of the openings toward the tents outside, her back to a support pillar of sorts while she scanned the surroundings for what would most likely be the command tent and despite the darkness of night that permeated the area she noticed how one tent stood out just slightly from the rest, being nearly pitch black in color compared to the others typical dark green. Ordinary human eyes would have had trouble noticing this, but while Lina had the Visage active she could easily see past any form of darkness.
Having decided to give their leader(s) a bit of a scare Lina took a few steps back from the openings before she once again crouched low, as the darkness that was enveloping her seemed to grow stronger for a moment before it disappeared completely and along with it Lina was gone. After about a second the supernatural darkness covering the room she had been in seemed to disappear as well. Lina was now out of reach for almost all forms of supernatural beings, as she had entered what was known to some in the occult society as the Realm of Spirits a seeming parallel dimension where the spirits of the dead linger. The very first thing she noticed when she stepped into this world now, something that hadn't been quite as apparent before, was the chorus of tortured cries echoing from around her, most likely the souls of those who had become Ghouls that were crying out for release. Sure more had died painful violent deaths than the amount of Ghouls that had been created, but they were more of the quiet sobbing type than the "AW GAWD IM IN PAAAIN!!!" kind, though they got on her nerves all the same. Luckily she wouldn't have to listen to their whining for long as with speed that could be called nothing less than instant she had moved from the corner of the stadium to the entrance of the commanding Tent and with similar speed moved inside it, from there she observed her surroundings, noting how there were multiple communications devices around the place confirming it to at least be an intelligence outpost, but it was most likely to be her intended target.
Seemingly out of nowhere a dark amorphous blob of supernatural darkness appeared at the closed tent opening just inside the tent itself though in less than half a second the darkness had spread a couple of meters into the tent before it began to recede again as if forced back when Lina appeared though the initial darkness remained around her like if a cloak. With the attention of the entire tent aimed at her Lina remained in a casual stance with her left hand resting on her hip as her glowing silvery eyes searched the tent, seemingly passing over Christopher without noticing him. "Alright, so where's the pipsqueak who's balls haven't dropped?" Though the tone of her voice wasn't quite malicious it was clear there was more than just an insult to how he sounded or that he was a kid, but that she probably challenged his courage assuming he wouldn't be quite as brave when he wasn't hiding behind his radio, that and acting as if she didn't notice him was because he seemed extremely self-righteous.
She never really got her answer the way she'd have liked it though as a click could be heard behind her as something metallic poked the back of her head, apparently the Anti-Freak Squad had been just about to enter the tent when she appeared... Lina tried to bring up enough courage not to outright freak though the way her eyes widened and her whole body twitched at the realization of suddenly having a gun to her head gave it away to anyone who was even remotely observant, even if the darkness around her complicated it. The reason she didn't simply vanish again was because her ability to enter the Spirit Realm had a 'cool-down', where her body had to rest up from the sudden reality switch. It was just two or three seconds at this point, but that was more than enough for them to put a bullet in her head should they wish to... She was beginning to really regret this...

“Sneaking in on a Hellsing is an extremely bad idea,” an authoritative voice spoke from behind Lina, meanwhile three individuals surrounded her with weapons trained on her from every direction, “I suggest you remove whatever weapons you have on you, or we can certainly do it for you.” Obviously they couldn't know all her powers outright, like how she could carry a virtual armory without them knowing.
Though everyone had initially been ready to act with things so heavily tilted in their favor a calmness set in despite the situation. At the very least they didn't seem ready to kill her but then she was probably going to try and phase out at any moment, though if she was smart she would realize that would mark her as an enemy. Given how tense she was it was hard to see if she had noted that EVERYONE in the tent had been going for a weapon, concealed or not, upon her arrival suggesting the clandestine and black ops sort of operation they were. Now though most of the “non-combatants” had returned to acting like they were just staring at walls, or other equally inconspicuous actions. Chief amongst them was Christopher who had slid back into his initial seat and swiveled toward her, interlocking his fingers before him.
Shortly before she would have made another dimension jump he spoke, “I'll tell you now. If you try and run, succeed or not I will have you shot on sight should we ever cross paths again. From your voice I suppose you're the one from the radio. So, you have thirty seconds to explain yourself, be-”
Before he could finish his head was pushed to the side with great force as one of the girls from the anti-freak squad grasped him in a giant bear hug. Christopher couldn't even respond at first as he just stayed stuck in that position, staring at Lina as his left eye twitched. As he sat there the mid-thirty something woman with brown hair and average, if cute, features tried to inspect every inch of him. The red cross on her arm marked her as some form of medic while the red glow in her eyes gave her vampire existence up. She spoke in a concerned motherly tone, “Are you ok? Did she hurt you? Do you have a boo-boo?”
Christopher gritted his teeth and motioned his finger for her to come closer which she did, he then spoke in a hushed aggravated tone as he pointed down in an exaggerated way after every word, “Miranda! Miranda! You're subverting my authority again!”
Miranda still having a hand on one of his shoulders looked up and seemed to grasp the situation with Lina in totality for the first time. She released him and turned toward the girl, still surrounded by gun-toting soldiers, and threw her hands behind her back with a smile, “Oh, right, right!” she leaned closer to their “guest” and spoke in a muted tone but everyone could still hear, “He's getting to be such a big boy. So capable.” Despite the obvious sabotaging of the situation it seemed Miranda was speaking in an utterly genuine way like a proud parent talking about their child. There was the distinct feeling in the air that while none of them were reacting a twist of a smile could be found here or there suggesting everyone else found this more amusing than it should have been given the circumstances.
Christopher however was in no way amused, he now had his right hand over his face and was letting out a long exasperated grunt. After a painful silence his exposed eye fixed on whomever was standing behind Lina with their gun still trained on her neck and he managed, “Captain I need you to begin inserting your people, we can't deal with this all day.”
The disembodied voice (from Lina's perspective at least) responded, “I sent several people ahead under Bob's command. I'll follow once this is finished.”
The young Hellsing managed a nod at this and then acting as if nothing had happened, returned to Lina, “So, you were saying?” But really, the magic was gone. It was not helped by the fact that Miranda was still standing right next to him looking at him like her head was about to pop from the cuteness, like a mother watching her child perform their first play.
--------------
When Elizabeth had shouted her question the look on the commanders face had clearly shown something along the lines of, “Would we be here if I did?”. But he settled for a more polite, “Not a one, mam!” as a hellstream of rounds came flying through the hall between them, tearing the perpendicular wall behind to shreds. Since the fire wasn't exactly what one would call aimed a quick look or two could be spared but that was about it, the fire would quickly head in the exposed individuals direction leaving no real time to act after seeing. Eventually they could get another squad into a flanking position by moving along the outer side of Old Trafford and inserting somewhere else, but that could take a solid five minutes. In that time their opponent could change locations, or worse send an unexpected move in their direction, even if they stayed where they were the man was still armed to the teeth, it was hard to tell if having a human squad on the other side would even really lessen the fire.
He was a giant of a man, it was almost impossible to believe people could grow that big and still walk, but then he was a vampire and they often seemed to be illogical. Coming in at just shy of ten feet he was also very hefty, filling out the brown leather duster he was wearing to the point of bursting. The heavily zippered and buttoned outfit had been outfitted with a number of metal plates, from the few shots they had landed so far it seemed it was highly bullet resistant. He was wearing matching gloves and boots, equally a high kevlar collar covering the lower part of his face left what was over the bridge of his nose the only exposed parts of his body. His head was bald and his skin aged with minor liver spots arrayed across it, one of his eyes was covered by a cloth patch while the other was the one that marked him a vampire. Whether he was actually ancient or had just been made a vampire in his old age was of course impossible to tell without asking him, but he seemed skilled enough to propose he was older than the average freak they hunted. He was easily grasping a massive minigun with extended feeder-belt in one hand, and a grenade launcher in the other. He had not used the latter luckily though this seemed to suggest his intent was to hold them off, not defeat them, all the more reason to bring him down quickly before whatever he was plotting came to fruition.
With apparently no end to his ammunition Squad 2 had simply gathered near the hall as they attempted to draft a plan through simple hand gestures, though it was taking some time. Elizabeth could just jump into most situations headlong but this guys aim was good, when someones head popped around the corner he had the massive gun on them in a split-second. If she threw her whole body out there she'd probably be chewed up, especially since she wasn't aware of just how skilled he was, and there was always the chance he decided to fire the grenade launcher if they tried to move forward. As such with no way to flank she was as stuck as the rest of them, several men had moved up behind her and were hugging the same wall, one of them was making hand gestures toward the Commander across the hall.
“What I need you to do-”
The voice echoed out calmly from right next to her but was unexpected and nobody had seen where it came from at first causing both the men behind her to swivel about wildly. Sneaking up on regular people during combat was always a bad idea, and one the superpowered members of the anti-freak squad often had trouble remembering since fighting was second-nature to them. Hanging upside down from a cord dangling from the ceiling was an average sized man clothed entirely in black with a vest any action-movie watcher would have associated with black-ops. He wore a balaclava over his head and a computerized visor over his eyes complete negating his features, though truth be told nobody really knew what he looked like since he just seemed to disappear when there wasn't a job. Once everybody had calmed down he issued a faux-cough and then picked up where he left off.
“As I was saying Elizabeth. If you'll keep his attention I'll sneak around and stick him in the back, yah?”
He had pulled his ninjaken out of its sheath slightly as he said this before putting it back in, as if to emphasize the point. However phrasing it as a question had apparently been rhetorical because he didn't wait for an answer, instead as if on a winch the cord pulled him back to the ceiling where he somehow managed to disappear into the darkness above, presumably off to do exactly what he had said. Nobody was really sure of how that disappearing act worked.
After all, Bob was a ninja, he was everywhere and nowhere.
--------------
Kate was right to question Evelyns sensibilities as while the ex-Vatican solidier might have been selecting targets carefully he was performing what could effectively be called carpet bombing...with bullets. Just about every enemy Kate intentionally missed, Evelyn intentionally hit and more than a few projectiles headed in her direction as well. However it seemed the vampires attention was mostly on other opponents as these tended to be radically inaccurate despite his skill level, one almost had to question if he was shooting on pure instinct, his hands simply pointing and shooting and whatever happened to move. Well, others might question that, as his minds conscious I can safely tell you that was EXACTLY what he was doing. Evelyn had been killing for a long time and unless he ran into a real challenge he fought on sheer natural intuition, hardly aware of each individual kill as he was of simply eradicating everything in the surrounding area.
When he was finished some part of him was aware enough to differentiate the Vatican agent, though the reason was that he loved toying with the Vatican. Back when Van Hellsing had adopted him into the organization before the turn of the 20th century during its infantile years they had attempted to make peace with the Vatican. Van Hellsing unlike the Hellsings after him was more than willing to let bygones be bygones and stop the pointless posturing by the Protestants and Catholics. At the time it was nothing like it was now, nor was Evelyn who he was, Hellsing was a small fledgling group of proud warriors and Van Hellsing was like a father to Evelyn, the father he never had, and his comrades brothers.
The Vatican had responded to the peace treaty by killing the three messengers and sending their heads back in sacks, they had then eliminated three Protestant missions in various areas of the world to make the message clear. The war had only escalated since then and Evelyn had played no small part in the retribution Hellsing had in the years soon after that event. Van Hellsing was gone and Evelyn had been left largely alone, nobody really capable of taking his first friends place and that largely owed to the confused individual he was now, but that small part of him that knew the war with the Vatican would be eternal still thrived. He thought it would be a little to anti-climatic to just finish her here, he'd prefer doing it in front of the Hellsing soldiers or better yet get Elizabeth to do it, he loved attention but he also loved watching her kill things...it was a tough decision.
In the end he decided he would make that decision later and would instead just separate himself from the girl for now. He looked to the large werewolf she had pinned and stuck out his tongue as if blowing a raspberry, “Playing with toys isn't a very womanly thing to do, not at all.” His eyes traveled down to her bust and he added, “But then there's not much womanly about you is there.”
He tilted his head to the side with his hand to his mouth and made an exaggerated 'Hah!'. This all despite the fact that to anyone else he looked like a girl who had an obvious lack of assets, clearly irony nor hypocrisy meant much to him.
“Well I'm gonna go now. I'd rather kill you in front of people, that way I get more attention and love. How fun. Oh but here, I'll leave you with this!”
He produced a small ball he had retrieved from one of the enemies in preparation for this moment and threw it across the room toward her, as it landed with a thud and roll nestling up aside the werewolf it was now clearly a grenade. As Evelyn melded with the wall nearest him he reached out with his hand and waved, “Bai bai~~~~!!!” before he was gone. The grenade exploded moments later, killing the werewolf as the shrapnel shredded thought its already damaged form, though this was likely a stroke of luck for it, given whatever sadistic plans Kate had, had in store. Kate however had surely escaped since it seemed Evelyn had gone out of his way to make sure she saw it beforehand, it was clearly just diversionary with no intent to actually finish her here. As he had said, he would surely come back for her should she make herself known amongst a large enough group of Hellsing soldiers.
Evelyn reappeared in one of the countless staff halls that lined the facility, currently there was nobody there. His guns disappeared back up his arm sleeves despite there seemingly being no room for them there...it was one of those awesome vampire things, don't question it. As he looked both ways he just set off down one hall at random, skipping along and humming to himself as he spoke to Elizabeth in his mind.
Heeeey~~~!!! Guess who I just saw?! The Vatican's here~~~~. Maybe you can tell little-bit out there, I'm sure he'll want to know. But you all better not kill them unless there's lots of people to see! Hahahahaha~~~~! Hey, hey Lizzy, remember that one time when I hugged that Cardinal before killing him while he was on the pulpit? He looked so turned on, poor oaths of celibacy, poor bastards. GOD~~~! I love the Vatican, their hilarious.
Not that anybody could particularly forget that event. It had been so public and so traceable to Hellsing that it had almost incited WWIII overnight before the Pope and the Queen came together and reached an understanding for world safety. This had lead to none-to-few restrictions on Evelyns part, though honestly it was unlikely he even paid them mind as should have been obvious given his reminiscing on the matter.

Elizabeth shook her head and sighed as the commander responded. “Figured as much.. Damn..” Her mind started running threw ideas, and each one just seemed to end with her either blown to bits by a grenade, or shredded.. She had already brushed cheeks with death, should she tempt it again so soon? Did she really have a choice? Damn it.. Could this day get any worse? Evelyn had an answer for that... Yes.
Elizabeth slammed her hand to her face as he told her the Vatican was here, and reminded her of an incident the whole world would have wished forgotten.. Of course I remember master.. You nearly started the third world war because of it.. But fuck.. What is the Vatican doing here?? I need to tell Lord Hellsing.. She responded as she grabbed her radio. “Sir Hellsing, we have a problem.. Well.. Another one.. Evelyn has just reported that he ran into a Vatican agent. He also says.. Make sure a lot of people are around when we kill them..” What? She couldn’t just ignore her masters orders, no matter how self-centered or idiotic they where.
With a sigh she clipper her radio back on the sash around her dress before counting the ammo she had left, putting the quick reloads into a small pocket on her dress as she readied herself for certain doom. But if this day was a cloudy storm, she had some sliver of sunlight to look at as Hellsing’s very own ninja appeared behind her. She spun around, looking bob in the eyes. She had noticed his scent a bit ago as he descended behind them.. But bob was still a ninja and thus demanded a proper response.
Elizabeth nodded before looking at the nearest soldier. “I need your help..” The soldier was about to get a bit more then bargained for as Elizabeth grabbed him and threw him across the room. However right as he left Elizabeth popped out, firing her revolver into the Vampire’s eye. The vampire hissed as he turned his head on impact. It was at that moment Elizabeth bolted out, continuing to send a onslaught of bullets at her opponent’s head as she continued to run as fast as she could.. She only hopped Bob arrived before the trail of bullets this vampire gantline gun made caught up with her.

When the vampire was done with trying to take pot-shots at her – which she responded to with a few swords, but there was little point to it beyond keeping the vampire slightly busier than before – and got back to focusing on her, Kate was mildly surprised that the first thing out of her mouth was about weapons being unwomanly. She just stared blankly at the idiot, waiting for when the idiocy of that comment sunk in.
Then the gothic bloodsucker proved that she was suffering from some serious brain damage when she mentioned her supposed lack of bust. This, coming from the midget flat-chested girl with a gothic Lolita obsession. Right, she felt so bad and offended, so much so that she started chuckling under her breath at the kind of moron she ran into. Hellsing was under hard times if this is what they put up with.
The laughter ended when the vampire chucked a grenade at her though.
Ten more swords found themselves embedded into the wall that the vampire brat just went through, as Kate had jumped for one of the many holes her werewolf friend had made in the walls. The blast didn’t even reach her, the vampire having given her more than enough time to move, but now she had lost her fun, and a source for information at once. Someone was trying very hard to put themselves at the top of her hit-list tonight.
She checked the corpse of the wolf, assuring herself that yes, it really was dead, before kicking the body with what could only be described as a whine of disappointment, and going about the task of collecting all her swords, and the many other weapons the corpses had left behind. During the monotony her thoughts turned back to the vampire she just met. While anyone who looked like that certainly wasn’t forgettable, her mind kept coming back to her for another reason, something she knew about…
As she got the last weapon, Kate cursed under her breath as she recalled where she had heard of that vampire before. The Cardinal incident. Now she knew that Hellsing was desperate if they kept the being that nearly triggered another world war around. While a Vatican agent should now choose to hunt down the vampire that murdered an innocent in cold blood, and for no reason, Kate had better things to do, and frankly didn’t care that much; if she ran into the brat again, she’d kill her, but she wouldn’t go searching for her when she had better things to do. Another time maybe, but she had priorities.
She went back to wandering about the building, still with as much caution as before, if only to avoid any Hellsing soldiers – she wanted them keeping the ghouls busy, and if they met up with her, odds were good that she’s end up having to disarm them at least, which was effectively death for them in here. Under any event, she had no argument with them outside of the brat, and dealing with them would just slow her down. As she walked past a corridor, she flicked her hand to the side, slicing the leg of the vampire grunt off cleanly. She summoned her magnums again, waiting for the swarm of victims his scream would draw; the more the merrier.
About ten werewolves and vampires answered the fading screams, and started firing. Kate took one glance at their weapons and swapped out her guns for her swords again. “You idiots aren’t even worth the bullets.”
Something was off; she didn’t even need to bother evading the gunfire, it was barely enough to pierce standard Kevlar, for less actually injure her. All the better though, as it made it easier to pin the lot of them to the walls without killing them.
She walked up to the first one with the amputated leg, and kicked him over to his back, pressing down on his ribcage. “All of you have a choice; tell me everything you know, or I play with you until you tell me everything you know.”
A bullet in her eye was her answer, as the vampire she had on the ground got to a gun. The smirk on his face melted off though when said bullet was simply pushed back out, the eye already regenerated. “Okay then, play it is.” She stabbed the vampire through the elbow faster than any of them could see, smiling in glee as the blessed silver burned flesh, muscle and bone. “Guess where I’m stabbing next?” She left little doubt of that when she stabbed the grunt through one of his balls. Maybe she should have let him try to answer her first……ah well.
“Okay then, the rest of you –“ She had to raise her voice a bit to be heard over the gasping cries of the vampire. “You might want to start talking before I get done with this guy.”

Being surrounded and with a multitude of guns aimed right at her head was not an ideal pastime for Lina however despite the near panicked state she was in right now due to the overwhelming danger presented to her she knew running now would hurt any future dealings with this organization. And while that in itself wouldn't be so bad, she had no idea how large or widespread they were thus the threat they would present to her in the future could potentially be much greater than what it was now. Sure they could easily put a bullet in her head, but the fact they hadn't done so yet meant they either gave her the chance to explain herself, or they had another motive.
“Sneaking in on a Hellsing is an extremely bad idea, I suggest you remove whatever weapons you have on you, or we can certainly do it for you.”
A voice from behind Lina said, probably the one that was pointing a gun at the back of her head due to the close proximity and the way he spoke made it seem like a commander of some sort, though as she didn't see him she couldn't affirm any of this. With tremendous self-control on her part Lina was able to retort without stuttering. "Really, you call THAT sneaking? Then again I guess with your previous performance anything short of a cannon shot would constitute as sneaking to you. But here, if it will make you feel any safer." While she wasn't quite capable to bring the sarcasm she'd normally use due to the overwhelming fear that was running through her, she was able to keep calm enough not to let it show overly much, while simultaneously dropping the Visage causing the shadows around her to disperse revealing her full features to anyone in the tent while she slowly removed a combat knife from a hidden location under her left sleeve and dropping it on the floor. The unnatural glow from her silver eyes had faded but there was still an eerie look to them, despite there being no other indication of it they seemed to tell that there was something far worse hidden beneath her human form. The brat then finally decided to turn to her fully as he began to speak in a commanding tone that did not fit his frame at all.
“I'll tell you now. If you try and run, succeed or not I will have you shot on sight should we ever cross paths again. From your voice I suppose you're the one from the radio. So, you have thirty seconds to explain yourself, be-”
Though he was interrupted by a mid-thirties looking woman who practically tackled into him while hugging him in the most exaggerated way she had ever seen someone be hugged before, it surprised her so much that she pretty much forgot the danger she was still in and just stared at the strange situation unfolding as the brat tried to uphold his act leadership though the woman did a good job of ruining that, and had the situation not been so serious for Lina she'd probably have laughed. Still she wasn't able to not crack a smirk at it though the moment she moved her head even slightly she was reminded of the guns that were aimed at her and froze up again. With the tension in the air gone it seemed like they had forgotten about Lina for a while as the brat ignored her and spoke to the man behind her, though after their quick exchange of words he looked at her again.
“So, you were saying?”
"You wanted me to explain myself before your Nurse over there ruined your grown man impression. Anyway, I'm guessing you people have extensive knowledge on supernatural things seeing as you're fighting vampires and whatever, with vampires, among other things. I was thinking that in exchange for my services I might be able to get access to that knowledge." After being finished with her next round of "insults" she laid out her reason for coming there matter-of-factly, speaking as if she believed she'd be quite a valuable addition to their organization, of course this came mostly from arrogance as she didn't really view other people to be on the same level as her for the most part. Though while she paused to give them room to take it in and consider her offer, she didn't give them enough time to really respond or if they did she just cut them off. "And in that regard, I've got some weapons but they aren't made for killing vampires. Would be nice if you'd let me borrow one, oh and maybe a grenade or two."
