But if he didn't look like a child then he wouldn't be a "child trying to act like an adult", he'd just be an adult. Thus by that theory it would be impossible to grow because if he acted like a child then he would still look like a child and if he tries to act mature he's just again the "child trying to act like an adult". Circular conundrum, you could argue that he himself looks inward with that view and thus if he saw himself as an adult he would age but I've never seen anything that suggest Hitsugaya doubts himself or is trying to act like something he isn't (with the possible exception of acting a little gruffer on subordinates than his inner kindness dictates, but that's just a realistic military command). If anything he's by far one of the most mature captains with a realistic outlook on things (for instance he's one of the few characters who had approached every enemy seriously instead of doubting them at first) so that's sort of at odds with a theory of mental aging.

So hitsugaya has pulled his so call ultimate technique, we still have no idea what those petals are supposed to represent. If Halibel dies, it would be ultimate proof that being popular and a good guy guarantees that you get dues ex machina powers that only the main character should be capable of using.
On a good note, we're finally seeing soifon's bankai. What's' up with the giant sash though? And Stark can use cero without any fighting stance 0_0

What I find odd about Stark is that he seems to be acting completely differently now. Instead of being lazy and not wanting to fight, he seems to be losing his temper and getting mad that Kyoraku's not attacking him. The fact Stark can fire instant cero without any indication is pretty impressive, it seems like with that and his instant recapture Orihime sonido his powers seem to be all about speed or being instantaneous. I wonder what that giant fire thing was though at the end of their bit? Was it just Hitsugaya's attack or something else altogether?
On the Hitsugaya note, I fail to see the ultimacy of his god snowflake of death and supreme mary-sue godmodery. Okay, the snowflake touches you and it explodes into a large chunk of ice, that makes sense, but the after the 100th petal you your life is over-thing, makes no sense. The mountain of ice would crush you yes, but Halibel really shouldn't be having any trouble melting her way out, bah. Damn Mary Sue.
And finally, Im have no idea why she had to wrap up an entire building, but the fact that she's activating her bankai has left me speechless. Seeing as Suzumebachi is 2-hit kill normally, hw the hell is her bankai going to be? My only guess is that it'll summon an entire swarm of hornets that all have 2-hit kill stingers or something like that. The suspense is just killing me.

WHAT IS THE BANKAI! So here is what i think it is, some form of giant hornet that she transforms into that shoots out one hit kill stingers! as for why she did the building wrap, maybe she was taping into her feminine side and making it festive, or she is going to crush it on the hollow king.

Irony is that I made Yun the captain of 10th division because I really liked Hitsugaya back when he was introduced. Now I hate him nearly as much as everyone else though not because of his powers but rather because of his change in personality. Either way I don't see what was so wrong with his recent attack, everyone in Bleach is a super-powered god and is it really a new "twist" for someone in Bleach to pull out a move they've been hiding? No. Of course I hate Halibel even more than I hate Hitsugaya...so I suppose thats why I care less.
As for Soi Fon while I'm sure the real bankai will be really lame am I the only one who thinks it would be hilarious if the scarf was sentient, ripped the building out of the ground and started trying to club everyone? ....*Cough* Sorry, mental image.
And Stark is starting to annoy me to ala Galihans point. I liked Stark because of his laid back personality and interactions with Lilinette. It sort of proved a point that we here on BS have long used but never known if it were true, that Arrancar were capable of more human emotion. Now he's just turning into another aggrivated "I'm a powerhouse, stop so I can kill you" whiner.

I think Stark's issue is that he suggested that he and Shunsui essentially fool around until everyone else was done fighting. Shunsui declined, then proceeded to fool around. That's going to get on anyone's nerves really.

It's... a missile. A giant fucking missile or doom. The sash thing was to tether her in place so the recoil wont send her tiny body flying away. That's so awesome. Its like... a ninja with a giant missile. I wonder if she'll be able to kill Barrigan in one shot? Or will she be able to fire a second missile to finish him off?
Also, Jushiro inspiring Lilinette to try and kill him, win.

I dont think the sash is there to protect against recoil for the reason that the sash being tied to the building behind her isn't going to stop her from being thrown back. The fat moron made an interesting point though; apparently that sash is incredibly heavy, and worn under clothes. Does that mean that Soifon was running around carrying that thing all the time?
The cannon was pretty epic though, especially considering that it likely has some other effect to it if it's going to outdo death in two hits. Although really, that thing looked like a mini-nuke and Barragan is a pile of bones, so he's probably screwed.
Also, Jushiro making Lilinette cry. What happened to the nice gentle guy?

He's not making her cry, he's just trying to inspire her. "Come on, you can do it! I believe in you little girl, try to kill me!"

You guys are exactly the opposite of a LJ group I'm in. Everybody was up in arms about Soifon's Bankai saying it didn't fit her, etc...but it really is funny to see little ninja with a weapon of mass destruction.
Ukitake is awesome. He's trying to help his enemy. C'mon, he either has to be insanely nice or insanely powerful (or both) to do that.

New chapter, and besides Stark releasing, nothing of interest happened. And it seems that Soifon's bankai is an all or nothing shot. Which means if skull king is still alive, shes all kinds of screwed. Probably her own fault for not practicing with it because she doesn't like it =_=

Someday, SOMEDAY, we're going to prove that Tite Kubo is reading our minds here at Bleached Souls for his ideas. The double body Stark and Lilinette combination has been my idea for the final res of Deaths Prodigum (all the girls) since I thought him up. Seriously they were supposed to be a gillian whose multiple minds had split into several bodies and would recombine. Blargh! Damn you Bleach, damn you!

Fwahaha. I love reading all of your posts. (Don't get too excited, GoldenKitten, that can't be good for your health. ;P)
I've heard a couple people suspect the Stark/Lilinette combination, but now that she's not in the picture, it means it will be Ukitake and Shunsui fighting him. The fact that they're both together yet again in fighting...makes me pretty much assume that Tite Kubo isn't gonna release their bankai abilities.
*sigh* Instead it will probably be some combination shikai ability at best. *weeps*

My guess with Soifon's bankai is that it is a 1-hit kill, given that since its a 1-time use, and if the shikai is 2-hit guaranteed kill, and the bankai is only 1 use, that has to be a guarantee that it's instant-kill. I seriously doubt that Barrigan could survive that attack, even if he is the Hollow King. We have to accept that the fights in Bleach are ended with Dues Ex Machina.
Now onto Stark. Hmm, this combination thing is also somewhat similar to Umbra's fraccion, albeit I tried to base them a bit more on Mila-Rose, Apache and Sun Sun's "pet" Allon but still, Im glad that GK now agrees with me that Tite Kubo is using our material as his own.
As for an actual analysis of Stark and Lilinette, I believe that its probably since Stark was probably so powerful as a hollow that its not that their division was a mere chance, it was probably a necessity because no single body could hold their combined power. The fact that Lilinette was so weak means that she was just the small remainder of Stark's power that couldn't fill in one body, like when you write something and you just cant fill it on one page and have to spill over onto a new page for that last sentence or two. Im fairly confidant that Starkinette's full power will probably have to push Kyoraku and Ukitake to use bankai, but once they do they will be able to defeat the Primera without much hassle, given that the Segunda and Tres espada were both also killed with single attacks.
Los Lobos = The Wolves.
I like the name, it seems to fit with Stark's renegade, lone ranger-esque attitude.
