When the two siblings were done staring each other down, they started exchanging blows, Keiori's of course being more power based while Tensu was using her speed to her advantage. One thing that was odd was that Keiori's blows were far too weak for the kind of reiatsu she had shown during the day. Ai was expecting Tensu to have problems from the sheer force, but at this rate, she was going to clobber her sister, especially if she kept being so predictable with her attacks.
Her attention was broken when she heard someone talking to her. Somewhere along their babbling she picked up the important question; the guy couldn't fight and he was worried that he was going to get humiliated out there.
"Your best bet is to hope that you get someone who can't fight either. Fighting isn't something that you can learn from words."
Tensu finally decided to spring Keiori's trap, going for the counter, but instead switching her shinai arm and attacking from an entirely different angle. This was where things got exciting. Keiori clearly did not appreciate getting kicked, finally using some of her reiatsu to fight properly. Tensu responded in kind, bringing out the acrobatics. Now she was really disappointed that she didn't get to fight one of them, she would have had a blast from the looks of things. Ah well, now that Kuatura was well aware of who were the strong ones, her next sparring match would be against someone who could fight back at least. The vice-captain certainly looked like he was enjoying the fight if that grin said anything.
Back to the fight, Tensu had nearly planted in foot in Keiori's face, flipping over her then taunting the temperamental one. It looked like Keiori didn't take well to being called short....that was something to keep in mind for later. Keiori completely lost it, charging at Tensu and backing her towards a wall, and she might have managed to hit her if she didn't slip up near the end and go for a palm strike. Tensu capitalized on the opening, rolling out of the way and going for a slash across the back.
Then Keiori pulled an acrobatic stunt Ai would never have pegged her capable of, flipping off the wall to evade the attack. From her landing though, the fight was over. Ai was somewhat surprised she didn't break anything.
Kuatura had finally decided to break up the fight, then added fuel to the fire by calling Keiori a midget. Her reaction just cemented the fact that her temper as an easy exploitable weakness. Dealing with short tempered people was always fun at the beginning, but it got boring fast, and dealing with a ticked off Keiori would be difficult if she couldn't just kill her.
Anyway, back to the calm sibling. "You're really ruthless, messing with your sister like that." Not that there was anything wrong with being ruthless, as far as Ai was concerned her respect for Tensu just went up when she showed that she was willing to ignore those stupid rules people put on fights.

Heton’s eyes focused quickly, blocking out any noises that his classmates where making. He had been wanting to see just how good the two girls where, and now he could see who was the better. He watched each movement, looking for any opening they left. He was shocked by how few Amanohara had left, throughout the fight he hardly saw anything that wasn’t correct before anyone could use it against her. Keiori on the other had, left more, but her strikes where quick enough to stop most people from exploiting them. They each had obvious strengths over the other, but Keiori was obviously the less skilled of the two.
The moves where precise, and agile the strikes where hard and fast; both seemed well suited to fight the other. He was surprised no one had started taking bets on who would win. His money was on Amanohara at the time, but then she managed to tick Keiori off, which all be it wasn’t all that hard to do.
He grinned slightly making a mental note of Keiori’s weakness. To be so easy to anger, that is going to cost her down the road. He thought to himself as he continued watching the fight. Keiori had obviously been holding back on Amanohara, and things where now getting very interesting. He couldn’t help but hold a smile as he watched the two duke it out. Against a normal opponent one could easily use her anger to get inside her defense, but Keiori wasn’t your normal opponent, no she had monstrous strength even her speed was slightly higher then your average Joe. Amonohara was one of the quickest swordsmen he had ever seen. The academy was defiantly the place where the best came, and some of the worst. He thought sparing a quick glance to that underhanded bastard.
His eyes refocused on the fight, and they widened in surprise as Amonohara slipped threw Keiori’s defense. He was on the edge of his seat, or knees in this case. But he was taken back even more when he saw Keiori perform a feat he had not thought her capable of. Sure she was a power house but to use the wall to avoid the blow, he was stunned she could perform a acrobatic feat as that, much less be clear headed enough to think about doing it. She defiantly had damn good instincts, and Heton would be damned to forget that if he ever fought her. But it was obvious she was not use to such things by the way she landed. He had to hand it to her though, for not doing such things regularly she sure did it well. Kuatura stepped in at this point in time. But apparently Keiori can’t control herself not to attack her superiors. She let her riatsu flare over being called “tiny” and went for the strongest attack she could muster. But there it was painfully clear just how much farther Kuatura was then anyone here. Such a attack would shatter the hand of anyone here and put them on there ass, but he took it like it was nothing. Shit the man probably had more power in his pinky then everyone in this room combined, excluding Lai-Fan possibly. He let out a sigh, surly no other fights would be as exciting as that one was. But not many remained thankfully.

While the students were still focused on the last battle Kuatura had moved on. He had already called out the next two in the dwindling group of participants, this time he pointed at Raijin and then toward the back of the class. Suddenly a girl let out a squeal as an until now silent student rose from where he had been sitting and extended to his full height of 6'8, to top it off he was ripped like Mr. Universe and his face appeared as if it had seen the sharp edge of a blade about ten-thousand many times. He approached quickly and silently, taking the blade from Kuaturas extended hand and moving to stand across from Raijin where he proceeded to take an obviously educated martial form. The moment Kuatura gave the go-ahead he brought the blade down on the ground before him and a massive crack was rended into the floor sending wooden shrapnel everywhere. He pointed at Raijin and then reared back and let out a massive “RRRRRRRRRRRRRRRAAAAAAAGGGGHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!” before charging forward.
Meanwhile Amanohara who was currently sitting with her hilt and zanpaktou in her lap, looking them over, was being surrounded by several other students. It seemed the doubts many had, had about her before were gone and after that battle she had instantly become ten times more popular, given these people were just flocking to whom they thought could help them succeed but for now it would do. Ai on the other hand went about making a point about how ruthless Amanohara was. Amanohara turned to look at her with an incredulous look and then spoke.
“Not ruthless, smart. Use your enemies weaknesses against them, anger can make people stronger but it more often than not also makes them make mistakes. I knew I was fast enough to dodge her strength so I simply aimed to take away the one thing she could possibly have used to beat me, well thought out responses. There is no cruelty there, there are no rules to battle or to anything else in life nor are there such things as black and white ethics. Be nice when you can, it can get you far but when it comes down to it be ready to take action, to take what you want via any possible way you can dream up. Eventually you work your way up the chain and such acquisition becomes a way of life.” She nodded and then turned back to watch the fight.
At that exact moment after tearing up a good portion of the dojo the large man raised his shinai above his head and with a great roar split it in two so that each had a sharp end. Holding one in each hand he spun them and then raising them high roared as he came down to turn Raijin into a holey student. At the last moment Kuatura appeared and in a flash had once more disarmed both the students.
“Wo wo wo...alright...enough of that. Like I said don't need any death on our first day right? Both of you back to your seats.” He turned back to the group and spoke, “Alright, theres just one more and thats Ranamaro Rin, since we have an uneven number we will...” He paused and looked at the group carefully.
Sitting in front of them was a man who until just a moment prior had not been there, he was of regular height but well built and tanned. He had flame red hair which was pulled into a giant spiky ponytail and had several tribal black tattoos over his exposed skin, he wore a large pair of black sunglasses. He was laid out on the floor and was apparently reading a math book from the front...though those behind could see he had stuck a manga into the pages and was in fact reading that. There was a long moment of silence in which he seemed to finally realize that most people in the room were watching him, he put the book down and began looking at Kuatura.
Kuatura finally spoke, “I remember my class, you aren't part of them...who are you?”
Before an answer could come though Lai-Fan spoke up while placing her face in her palm, “Kang, what are you doing here...again? You know eventually your going to have to just accept the graduation or stop coming...”
Kang spoke up, “Hehe, not until you leave here and join the Gotei 13...or come home.”
Lai-Fan let out a long sigh and Kuatura spoke, “Um so...'Fan Fan'...is there something going on we should know about?”
“NO!!!” She yelled out, “Just add him to the damned roster, he always finds a way to get in officially...”
Kuatura gave a long apathetic look while Romulus cackled at the back of the class, “Fine, then you're the next students partner.”
Kang nodded and stepped forward across from the other student. They both were given their shinai, Kuatura signaled the fight to start and...the other student dropped to the floor after a smack to the back of his head that came so quick it would have been difficult for all but the most adept students to follow. Kang handed the blade back to Kuatura who just shook his head and went back to sit down, Kuatura spent the next twenty seconds bringing the downed student back to consciousness. Once the show was over though Kuatura took a stance before the class once more.
“Alright, that is enough for today. I know it might not seem like we got a lot done other than knocking each other around but I and the other teachers have been able to observe your individual abilities. This will be invaluable in the following weeks as we create separate training regimens geared to train you based on your current skill level and the way in which each of you learns best. I'll say it now, just because there are some students in the class with a greater level of skill right now means nothing in the long run, I have seen utterly unskilled fighters turn out to be quick learners that were true shinigami in a short time and on the flip-side seeming savants who though inherently skilled had no ability to learn and thus never progressed past their starting point. Thus those of you who did poorly should not be disheartened just yet and those who did exceptionally should not be feeling cocky in the least. Do not mistake this for an attempt at being kind, I simply state the truth.”
He turned around and walked toward Lai-Fan while speaking over his shoulder, “The end of the day bell should be ringing within the next few minutes, until then you may speak amongst yourselves.”
It was clear that Kuatura was questioning Lai-Fan about Kang and the amused look on his face suggested whatever it was, was funny. Amanohara remained quiet for the next few minutes unless questioned directly though she made some small talk with her new group of followers, she looked around and saw that most of those who had done good were getting a following though she seemed to be getting the most, likely because she came across as a leader, that was good. Ai had a few and two girls were edging in near Keiori though they seemed a bit unsure of how to speak with her, several of the more thuggish looking students had crowded around the big guy that had tried to murder Raijin. Then just as Kuatura had said about 3 minutes later the sound of a gong went off and just like a real life school several students darted for the door, however just as they got to it, it was flung open smashing them in their faces and sending them reeling.
A small little girl with pink pig-tails came loping through but despite her appearance she seemed to carry a serious moniker and the strap around her shoulder said she was a sixth year and a member of the Disciplinary Committee.
“Class A, I am here on behalf of the Disciplinary Committee. If those of you who were pulled aside here earlier still wish to take us up on our offer I am here to take you there, approach now.”
She looked to her side and saw the kids who had been knocked down when she opened the door, “You really shouldn't stand behind doors, it's dangerous.” She then went back to looking at the rest of the class, seeming to miss the scowls those students gave her.
Slowly those who wanted to go with her joined and the rest of the class filtered out, after the last student was gone Romulus exited as well, closing the door behind him obviously wanting to have nothing to do with the other teachers. Kuatura and Lai-Fan were left in an empty and mostly destroyed dojo. The look on both their faces said they didn't even know where to begin and then Lai-Fan finally spoke first.
“You know that girl wasn't concerned about her height right?”
Kuatura laughed, “Of course, but if you were here would you want me to point out your bust in the middle of a class? I was making a point without having to bring it up directly.”
“Guess not.”
Another long silence passed and then Kuatura smiled, “She did have tiny breast though didn...”
Kuatura stopped seeming to realize who he was talking to, Lai-Fan glared at him.
“OOOOOOOOOWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW!!!!”

Raijin had eyed the two girls intently as they fought, they’re styles so different yet each had so many principles that made them incredible. Raijin himself had never touched a blade before and was surprised by the abilities that the two showed. Amanohara was so defensive and quickly analyzed each situation as if she was born with a blade in her hand; Keiori however was an offensive princess her deft blade fluttering in strong vicious strokes that made him feel weak. He sighed simply as feelings of inadequacy flooded into his body and he could only feel the shame of not knowing something that many others seemed to have mastered. “God Damnit…why don’t I know more about swordsmanship? He asked himself as he clutched the rough cloth of his hakama and stared intently at the two wondering what it must feel like to be that strong.
“Ok, that is good enough for today, please return your blades and then go sit back down, we can pick this up later.” Raijin looked up at that exact moment and his entire perception of strength was shattered in an instant, Kuatura had caught the two blades before impact and appeared not even to be struggling with them. Raijin gulped, was that what it meant to be a shinigami? To wield powers that few can imagine and even fewer could even hope to handle? He stared his body twitching with the realization of just how over his head he was, but then his smile came back. He could do this and he could be one of them, it didn’t matter what the others said all he had to do was work himself and he’d be alright. That’s when his name was called and he looked up at his opponent. A giant nearly seven feet tall, ripped with muscle and in a well practiced and educated sword form. “Oh you’ve got to be shitting me.” Raijin thought as he gripped a shinai and felt the warm wood in his hands as he tried to mimic the exact grip that the higher level student was taking.
“RRRRRRRRRRRRRRRAAAAAAAGGGGHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!,” was all Raijin heard as the beast charged at him after rearing his head back like some kind of savage. Raijin knew fear then and could only feel that as he began to laugh and became hysterical, tears came out of his eyes as he did a cartwheel out of the practice blades back and shrapnel flew up from the mats.
“Come on big boy, come and hit me, come and hit me!” Raijin mocked unthinkingly as his deep red hair and green eyes danced like a manic clowns across the room and he was grazed trying to dodge another blow that came across his leg. He felt an intense pain, deeper than anything he had ever felt before as he swung back wildly and struck the other student square on the head of his phallus. “I’m sorry did I do that?” Raijin said grinning, knowing that was purely on accident as the massive student groaned, before striking Raijin squarely on the head.
The blow from earlier, must have sapped a little strength from him as Raijin only tumbled to the floor and flipped back up as he looked back as the student charged him again. Raijin took a defensive stance and it felt natural to him, but he soon found out that he had not the strength to withstand the hideous strength of the monster in front of him as he was sent back with a single strike from his murderous strikes. He could feel his arms growing weaker and weaker with each blow and soon he resorted to all he knew left to do, hit and run.
“Come on you muscle-bound freak, show me what you got!” Raijin shouted as he ducked under a blow sailing toward his head and slid inbetween the giant’s legs striking his scrotum and his balls as he passed, then his back. The giant turned and he swore that he saw smoke bellowing from his nostrils as he roared again and assaulted every part of Raijin’s body attempting to turn him into a bloody pulp. Raijin just ran jumping around the blows for all he was worth and striking when he could. I
t failed him after two minutes when he received a heavy blow to his stomach knocking all the wind out of him and he was flung back to the center of the ring. He coughed and could feel his body aching as he used his shinai to support himself up and took his defensive position again.
“Come on…freak….” He coughed out, then saw the other student snap his shinai in half and charge at him attempting to stab him. “Well…shit…I lived a full life…” He said and went to swing down across the savage’s head, when one of the instructors stepped in and relinquished them both of their weapons. Raijin couldn’t believe how effortless it was for them and merely coughed as his stomach ached profusely. He limped back to his seat, where a new person was sitting. He simply sat back down and noticed that the man didn’t appear to be paying attention, then saw the manga he was reading.
“….Really?” He thought, then watched a bit enthralled as he stood up to the instructors and they said graduated. He knew that meant that this new guys must be even stronger than the bully he had just faced. Watching with interest as the fight began, it was over before his eyes could even follow the movements.
“What…are these people?” He mumbled to himself and coughed again when someone struck his back to knock the wind back into him. He stretched himself out after the instructor gave a speech about learning and becoming shinigami. He said nothing and turned to leave, just as a hoard of students were knocked over by a little girl with pigtails. “This day gets weirder and weirder.” He said to himself and stepped over them, heading outside for some air.

Heton was laughing as he watched Raijin fight the giant in front of him. It was like watching a rodeo clown be chased around like a mad bull. But like any good rodeo clown Raijin was quick enough to dodge most blows, and get up quickly enough to dodge the next. It was the most comical part of the day, and he hoped it would be like this every day. He let out a “Oh!” as Raijin smack the bull in his balls. “He’s gonna be feeling that in the morning.”
The man was pissed, and rightfully so. He had been the victim of this clown’s games for a while now. He broke his shinai in half and went to skewer him. Heton felt a little bad for the guy, he had ticked off the scariest bull this class had. But naturally Kuatura had stepped in, in the nick of time to save his life. Despite the fact that Raijin had no idea what he was doing, Heton was impressed. The man knew how to egg someone on, and how to run for his life and dodge fatal blows. He had good reflexes, and he believed that he would quickly learn how to handle himself.
He eyed the next one, someone who had refused to graduate and kept going threw the ranks. How odd. Heton thought to himself as he stepped forward. His attack was quick, his eyes could hardly fallow it, and it was good enough to knock the kid out. He was defiantly worth becoming friends with. He could definitely teach all of them a lot when they weren’t in class. Heton smiled as he was told they had a few minutes off. He got up and stretched a bit before lying down on the gym floor. He noticed a few people wanted to talk to him, but not nearly as many as Amanohara. “Oi, bugger off will ya? Im tryin to relax here, go bother some other bloody bloke.” He said with a shoe motion with his hand.
But his brief peace was broken by the sound of the gong. He tried to get up quickly, but he found that life here was as cruel as in the world of the living. He was, quite literally, trampled on. His groans and grunts where mixed with a few. “Hey! Stop! Help me up! God damn it! Son of a bitch don’t step there!” But soon he was able to get up, limping because of the bastard that had stepped on his jewels. “Im going to kill that son of a..” He was stopped short by the girl who had just come in. She had slammed the people that had walked on him down to the ground and he grinned evilly. “PAYBACK TIME!” He yelled as he jumped on them. Stopping as hard as he could on there guts and faces. “YA LIKE THAT!?!” But right as he was about to pound in the guy who had stepped on his balls he looked at the girl as she finished talking about the match with the disciplinary committee. “oh yeah, I forgot about that.” He said honestly. “Dose Bob have my Zanpakuto yet?” he said before looking down, noticing his foot was still in the air. He stepped down and proceeded to walk off the masses.

After what she herself would refer to as a draw when asked, but everyone else most likely considered as Amanohara's win Keiori solemnly strode back to her place on the floor before she sat down with her arms in her lap and her face looking down at the floor. Though her hair was covering her face for the most part, anyone right next to her might be able to see the mixed look of anger and sadness etched onto it. It wasn't so much her 'loss' that caused her anger as much as it was the continued insults thrown her way, even though she knew Kuatura was right she just wasn't capable of controlling her anger and if she tried to hold it back it just bottled up until she burst into an uncontrollable fiery rage. She had learned to harness her anger to some degree when fighting normally, it allowed her to draw out her strength more than she could naturally and she retained a lot of her senses for the most part, so it had worked out for her so far.
Her sadness was obviously related to her previous thoughts about why Amanohara had treated her like she did, even Kuatura's words could not help remedy that. Keiori was not a logical person by nature, she often took things at face value and she was easy to affect emotionally. Someone she considered herself to have such strong ties to, outright insulting her the first time they met in nearly three decades... Well it left a searing burn in her heart. She looked almost close to tears when she suddenly jerked her head up as a loud roar filled the room, just in time to see the large scarred man launch himself at another student who began to desperately dance around the much larger man while throwing insults at him... What a strange person, despite more or less fighting for his life he kept his charade up, only angering the brute further. Though she could see how he began making mistakes as his rage consumed him, much like it could easily consume her... She felt this was a pretty good example of why she needed to learn control, but it was not a very simple task when one could be so easily filled with anger as she.
Keiori had been too absorbed in the fight to notice before now, but the guy who's shinai had turned into splinters at the start of the lesson was laughing his ass off at Raijin. She turned to look at the man just as he let out a "Oh!", prompting Keiori to shift her gaze back to the fight where Raijin had just passed by the brute who seemed to have been hit in-between his legs... This was more or less just confirmed by Heton as he commented on it further. The fight did not last much longer however, as the brute seemed beyond pissed and cracked his shinai in half before he jumped at Raijin with inhumane speed no doubt fueled by his rage and would easily have impaled the fool, had Kuatura not intervened once more. It seemed like even he was taken aback by the murderous rage that the large man possessed, or perhaps she was reading him wrong... She had never been too great at telling what people was really like though that was hardly surprising as her social skills sucked to say the least.
The spectacles wasn't over just yet though, as a man who had not been there a moment ago was now lying in-front of the larger group of students casually reading a book of some kind, though she herself sat a bit too far away to tell just what it was about. Kuatura himself seemed surprised by the mans presence and it appeared he was indeed not a member of the class, though it soon became apparent that Lai-Fan knew him though their exact relation was impossible to determine. Through some form of magic however this guy was added to the rooster of students and was set up to fight the last remaining person, who hit the floor in a split second as the newcomer moved at a speed Keiori could just barely comprehend. There was a brief pause in the activities as Kuatura tried to wake the downed student back to conscience, during which Keiori's surprise and excitement of the sudden events was quickly replaced with those deep brooding feelings that had haunted her since her fight with Amanohara... And though she heard Kuatura speak once he had raised the student from the dead, his words didn't quite register to her and so she remained seated silently while staring at her lap with empty eyes.
She was so stuck in her own head at the moment she didn't even notice the two girls trying to, cautiously, get her attention. While they had obviously been impressed with her strength and martial skill, they were also vary of her temper and rightly so for when Keiori was in as much mental distraught as she was now she was very easy to tick off. After they noticed that she wasn't feeling like talking with anyone the two girls backed off and went off somewhere else, even if Keiori had payed attention to them she wouldn't have cared. She didn't come here to become popular with her classmates, she had come to become stronger and learn control, that was all there was to it.
Then the gong sounded once more as the end of the lesson, or day, Keiori didn't really care right then, came around and several of the students began to rush toward the doors stepping on some guy who had been laying down while it rang. Just as they got to the doors however they suddenly and violently opened sending several of the students flying into slightly slower groups of students creating a small domino effect that ended with most of those who had hurried going down on the floor. The loud noise had made Keiori pay attention and so she slowly stood up and turned to face the opening where a small girl that didn't look much older than Jim stood. Though she might ordinarily have dismissed her as a kid, despite the feat displayed by the doors, Jim had taught her that physical age had little to no meaning when it came to people within Seireitei... The girl was probably just as smart as Keiori, if not smarter and less prone to fits of rage... Though whatever went on inside her head Keiori didn't care all too much, it was irrelevant to say the least.
What was relevant however was the reason for why she was here. It seemed like the girl had come to collect those whom wished to fight a member of the Disciplinary Committee, something which she had been really fired up to do earlier but had since calmed down significantly regarding IT, even if she had built up plenty of anger regarding other things in the meantime... Though she didn't want to take those extra lessons she would be forced to if she lost, she was very interested in seeing the strength of a sixth year for herself and this would be a perfect time for it. That and she needed to get rid of some of this pent-up-anger somehow, and as such letting it out against someone much stronger than her seemed like the best alternative. If possible she'd ask to stay outside the 'bet' though, as she was very sure she'd lose anyways... Whatever the case though Keiori moved with the rest of the group, and despite her troubling thoughts she was excited about what was to come.

Ai smiled beneath her scarf when she heard Tensu's reply on her actions. She was definitely a manipulator, that comment all but spelled it out for anyone with a shred of common sense to understand. That kind of mentality, she sounded like someone who would backstab their way to the top. Watching how far she went would be interesting to say the least. It looked like she was already gathering a following of students, probably hoping to suck up to the strong ones for protection. Ai personally was more interested in the savage student fighting with that guy who was talking to her, only really talking to them for something to do.
She showed far more interest in the fight when the clownish one showed a bit of talent for improvisation....or maybe he was just lucky. Anyway, the savage one pretty much flipped out totally, breaking the shinai in half. And I thought that Keiori had anger issues......
Kuatara stopped the fight before there was any bloodshed, although Ai was hoping for at least a little stabbing. Ah well. Things were just about to wrap up when a guy appeared in front of them that she knew wasn't there before. She blinked a few times, making sure that, yes, some tanned guy covered in tattoos just popped up from nowhere and was reading a manga. She really needed to find out how some of the students were doing that high speed movement, he was just like the disciplinary committee.
Anyway, from the sound of things, this Kang person and Lai-Fan had history, and this guy had a habit of repeatedly going through the Academy. It certainly showed when he took out his opponent in a second; Ai barely caught his movement. Another mystery of the Academy. With that, all the sparring matches were over, and Ai went back to tuning out Kuatara, as she chatted up her new stalkers. Maybe one of them might turn out to be interesting; they came here after seeing her try to kill someone after all.
Then the bell rang, and the class charged the door, again. This time, they all got sent flying when someone else pushed open the door from the outside. Ai looked on in interest when a girl that looked even younger than her walked in, and told them about the fight with the scary librarian. She immediately started following her, not wanting to miss out on what promised to be the most fun today. She still didn't intend to back on what she promised - it was vague enough to let her get away with anything she wanted anyway - but she wasn't passing up a chance to see what the strongest students were capable of. Besides, it would give her a chance to actually fight properly.

Amanohara watched Heton and Keiori follow the little girl that had appeared at the end of class, apparently they weren't planning to back down from the challenge they were issued like a smart person would do. She considered just leaving at that point but thought about her choices, she could tail them and get to see what the stronger students were like in a fight, that information could prove invaluable. She noted that Ai was following the girl as well, she found this strange given her previous response but quickly reminded herself that she had only scratched the surface of the girls personality, this gave her more reason to follow them.
Amanohara had let slip her manipulative tendencies to Ai for a reason, she would not have done so with somebody else. Ai was smarter than most of them and she was strong, Amanohara wasn't necessarily looking to make her a second-in-command or anything but rather by befriending her and having her on her side she would have a good fall back in emergencies. This presented a opportune chance to figure her out, much of what people were could be discovered in fighting, sure she saw her aggressiveness in the class but Ai hadn't been pushed to her limit there. With that in mind Amanohara went through the exit and walked after the group, keeping a modicum of distance between them though they all seemed to absorbed in what they were doing to notice her anyway.
Ahead the girl had eyed Heton for a moment before turning around and walking off while talking, “So you're the one who lost his zanpaktou on his first day?...Are you sure you want to take Momo on? Losing it within an hour of receiving it has to be some kind of record.”
She sighed and then added while not looking at any of them, “But you shouldn't worry. As you no doubt have noticed Bob is...eccentric. Do you really think they would put up with such eccentricity for no reason? Of course not, they aren't bugged by it because Bob never fails, he never quits and he is never beaten. If you are on his side count yourself lucky, if you are not, stay far away. In short don't be concerned, if Bob is after your zanpaktou and he knows about this fight then you'll have it back before it starts.” She sounded quite convinced but then smiled and added, “Well...one person tries to test him all the time...but then he's as out there as bob.” She didn't say anymore and left it at that.
They made a series of twists and turns through the school, passing a number of classrooms. It was obvious from the sheer size of the place that there were probably more people in training than any of them had or could guess. It became evident that she was leading them outside of the complex as she went further and further from the central courtyard and classrooms. Eventually a door was opened to the outside and before them were a number of pavilions and a forest beyond that, from the looks of signs and training equipment everywhere this was probably one of the official training grounds for older students. There were already a number of people standing near one of the pavilions of all ages, it became clear the students from their class were not the only ones being brought here. Their guide brought them to the group and told them to wait where they were, from here they could all see that Momo, Nero and what seemed to be a teacher in shinigami robes were here as well. A number of Disciplinary Committee members were coming and going, dropping off a good dozen and a half other students.
In one of those groups was Jim, Momo seemed to immediately notice him.
“I don't recognize you, you weren't brought in this morning.”
Jim laughed, “Yah, but you got my friend, and as his friend and a most upstanding one at that I'm not allowed to just let you beat on him right?”
Momo put her hands on her hips, “If you lose you'll have to take take the 'Ethics and Leadership' course just like the rest of them.”
Jim rubbed the back of his head, “Oh, thats fine.”
Momo just looked at him, shook her head and then went back to waiting. It was true, most of these people probably expected to lose and they were much stronger than Jim so what could he possibly do? Regardless there were few other people willing to talk him out of it and his friend...whom he had forgotten to mention which one it was...didn't seem to be taking a stand on this matter either. Jim happened to spot Keiori a moment later and waved at her with a big smile.
Meanwhile something heavy smacked Heton on the top of his head, but before he could react either angrily or in pain a hand appeared in front of him holding a zanpaktou, his zanpaktou. Standing next to him holding it out was Bob who was currently using his other hand to stifle a yawn, he then looked down at Heton.
“Sorry, forgot this. Was learning about Tri-Calculus Integers through a Geometric Helix in class and it sort of got lost back there, stuffs like a ninjutsu you have to go about it with concentration you know?”
He was about to plop it down in Hetons hands when he froze for a moment and then swirled around and tossed the blade. “YOU DO NOT HIDE BEHIND A NINJA!!!” he yelled as the blade, still in it's sheath sailed across the large opening and split through one of the wood pillars of a nearby pavilion before it came to a stop. From the other side Amanohara came jumping out, dodging being impaled by a split second but there was no time to react, Bob was there, he removed the zanpaktou from the pillar with a hard tug and then picked Amanohara up by the collar of her shirt in the other and then was back amongst the group. Amanohara was less flustered than she was feeling very short right now, Bob yanking her clear off the ground.
“At this outing you either fight, or you do not attend!” Bob said before setting her down. Amanohara seemed to consider it for a moment before falling back to the other three she had been called aside with, it wasn't as if they were a team but better to stick together for the time being. Even if it meant losing and taking those classes she felt seeing higher level students whose movements she could still follow unlike the fully trained adults but not as low-level as herself would be worth it. Bob seemed to have forgotten her by now and turned to all the students, “You should be warned, if you engage in this battle, win or lose you are going to attract attention from those you may not wish too...like him...” He glared off into the distance at an imaginary individual when he said the word as if he was speaking of the devil incarnate himself but then he rebounded as Bob was privy to doing, “Hey wait a minute...”
Bob held his hand up to his chin as if he was deep in contemplation and spoke aloud, “Ninjutsu. Nin---jutsu. Ninja....BY THE FIRES OF MORDOR!!! NINJA-JUTSU!!! This requires contemplation, TO THE BOB-CAVE!!!” ...and then Bob...Bob was gone.
“What he said is right, but I figure if you've come this far you aren't willing to back down.” Momo suddenly spoke bringing them back out of the surreal world of the Bob, “Still if you want to go, we won't say a word and you can just go back the way you came, it would be the better choice for us all. However if you are going to fight then prepare yourselves, there are no rules, you will all come at me and you better come with intent to kill, use your zanpaktou or whatever weapon you are best with. Kenrari-Sensei will be here to make sure that nobody gets killed but injury is not out of the question for any of us, the battle will occur right here. Prepare yourselves and then inform me, once you are all ready we will begin.”
Momo stood in the middle of the clearing next to the pavilion, the teacher and Nero stood under its shade both sharing a similar look of apathy as they waiting for the first years to attack, several other Disciplinary Committee members had stayed as well including the young girl.

((Note: You may simply say you are ready in your next post and then attack, no reason to go through another round of posting just to post your characters affirmation.
OOC: I want to clear something up, everyone seems to be assuming all the students are using Shunpo, this is not the case. Most of them just seem to be moving that fast because our characters are untrained, really their all still mid-level speed at best. Bob is the only one that uses shunpo...because Bob's a ninja...an awesome ninja.))

Raijin had missed all the excitement of the Disciplinary Council meeting and had just walked along the Academy grounds for a while feeling sorry for himself and also wondering where the hell everyone was at. As he walked along he picked up a sweet smell from the orchards and noticed a variety of fruits growing there and especially some ripe apples. He ran up to them and was suddenly pushed back from a force from no where as an old man walked out from the trees, shaking a finger as he did so. "No fruit for you!"
"Why not and how are you going to stop me?" Raijin asked feeling a bit cocky as it was just an old man and it was only one apple. He stared forward straight at the man wondering what that push on his chest was as he felt for his blade unconciously.
"You are not allowed to have any fruit simply because, the fruits must be earned and so you must take one from me." Raijin cocked his head surprised at the challenge, but as soon as the old man saw his hand upon the blade. "Hado Number 58! Tenran!" A blast of wind erupted from the old man's hands forming a whirlwind that engulfed Raijin and shot him skyward screaming in the air as the twister grew larger and flung him straight into the sky. "AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!! WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT!?" Raijin screamed as he feel to the eart helplessly and cried out for help. He pushed his hand forward and subconciously channeled reitsu to his palm forming a orange colored orb, which exploded when it touched the ground, but kept him from going SPLAT.
"Ok, Old man...so you got some neat tricks...but I'm not gonna be beaten so easily." Raijin said as he bled from numerous cuts along his face and hands where the vacuum of wind had sliced him open like an orange. He coughed and spittle ran down his chin with a little bit of blood mixed into it. "Oh...I'm gonna be sick..." Raijin said as he bent over and the iron coated bile poured out of his mouth with little chunks of his breakfast coming out. "Damn you...now I gotta fill myself back up again." He said feeling a deep ache in his arms, probably marking he had wounded them grievously with his little stunt.
Raijin charged the old man, getting next to his face as he swung down on to be struck in the stomuch by a fist and hear the words "Hado number 1, Sho." All of the air was forcefully removed from his body before his body lurched back; he went sailing through the air and into a pillar as his head slammed back into it, he wondered if this was kido. Coughing again, he braced himself upon his sword and forced his body into an upright position. "Old Man...is...is that kido that your performing?"
"Yes it is whipper snapper, Now I suppose you must be one of the new kids if you didn't know that already. I made an error myself then. Poor kid, you must feel like you've been torn to shreds. The old man knocked down one of the apples and walked over offering it to Raijin. Raijin looked up at him scornfully and pulled the old man down...or attempted to as the old man jerked him to his feet surprisingly quickly and stared at Raijin making him feel really uncomfortable.
"Ok, yea stupid move."
"Beyond stupid, age makes little difference here in the Seireiti. An old man or a child can be greater than any youth or man in his prime. It's all about reitsu here and right now, you haven't got shit. So I'll give you a free Kido lesson if you promise not to ever try this bullshit again!" Raijin simply nodded terrified as the old man held him in the air with one hand.
"I promise sir, I promise!" Raijin cried out and the old man put him down and let him enjoy his apple, before the lesson began.

Heton fallowed the girl silently. HE was smart enough to know when not to press an issue. She would respond in due time he figured as they kept walking. He made a note of ever turn they started to take and exactly how to get where they where going. AS the girl spoke, Heton couldn’t help but look down and fell a sense of shame. “Yeah, I suppose that is some sort of record.” He said before looking back up and made a note of the area they passed. “I don’t want to take on anyone, I’d rather not fight. But I have to, even if I am going to lose. It’s a principle thing.” He said before letting out a sigh.
A grin hit his lips as the memories of Bob came to mind. “Yeah, Bob is pretty cool. It’s a good thing he is after my Zanpakuto I suppose.” He said as they passed another area. His curiosity was peaked and said. “Who is it?” But his question was received with silence. As they kept walking he could help but say. “This place is huge..” He was in awe of how big this place was, and just how many students they must be training. How many would actually make it to becoming Shingamis? He wondered as they kept walking.
As he spotted Momo and the other ‘Disciplinary Committee.’ He noticed he gulped, he was scared of what he was about to face. He had felt the force of an upper classmen, even if it was just a push. He closed his eyes and started to mentally prepare himself right as he was smacked in the head. He ducked a little and was about to say ‘Ouch!’ but then he noticed the sight of steal. His Zanpakuto. He smiled as he looked at Bob and said. “Bob! You did it. Thank you so much.” And he couldn’t help but feel a sense of relief. Bob started to talk about a class that he was in and Heton said. “Its quite alright, it will not happen again, I promise.” He said before bowing slightly as Bob was about to hand him his Zanpakuto. Heton’s eyes widened as he witnessed another moment of Bobism!
He watched as Bob tossed his Zanpakuto threw the air and it split a wooden pillar apart. He was in shock, he had practically lost his Zanpakuto again and it was stuck in a pillar, A PILLAR! But Bob yanked it out with ease that impressed and scared Heton at the same time. Please let Bob be the strongest of them! He prayed to whatever force he had to, to get help. As Bob started talking to the group again and dropping Amanohara in front of them. He noticed that she walked over to them and took a spot next to them. “Glad you could join us.” He whispered before bracing himself for a hit. Bob tossed him his Zanpakuto back as he left the scene of the crime. Heton looked at the group and said. “So do you think they will run us in groups, or have one Disciplinary Committee person fight each group and have us all go at the same time? Or will they just all come at us and we be super screwed? My money is on the second one. Also, we need to come up with a plan, of some kind. I think Keiori and I should take point. Ai and Amanohara you two should go around and strike from the back. You both seem to be quicker and nibbler then me and Keiori so you two should be able to dodge them better. Keiori, get pissed at em, we need your brutish strength if we are going to get anywhere. Ill try and stop any attacks that come your way.”
He talked with the others hoping to come up with some kind of strategy to fight them. After they finished he walked up to Momo and bowed respectfully. “I am ready.” He said before walking back to where he was. He could only hope that things would go there way, and the injuries they would sustain would be only some flesh wounds. He took his stance before eyeing his would be opponent.
He nodded to the others, hoping to execute whatever plan they had come up with against them. He pulled our his sheath and took it in his left hand, holding it backwards and his Zanpakuto forwards. He would try and hold them off from attacking his team mates while striking wherever he could.

Ai followed the pink haired leader, taking note of the amount of turns they were making along the way. This place was much bigger than she originally thought, just how many students did they have in here anyway? That was something to investigate later if it still interested her by then, but for now, her main focus was the upcoming fight. On one hand, she really didn't want to learn about something she would never use. On the other hand, she did want to find out what a sixth year was capable of; that rich kid with the golden sheath would be somewhere around their level, and she needed to see just how much work it would take to have good odds of keeping up with him if they met again. She really wanted that sheath, almost as much as she wanted to break the pest's mind to pieces.
She also wondered just how long it would take for Tensu to start following them. She didn't see someone like Tensu passing up an opportunity to observe her current superiors, and fully expected her to hide somewhere to watch. She also expected that to not end well with how good the committee seemed to be at tracking them. Besides, in this case, she partially wanted to have a real fight for once.
Eventually, they arrived at a large clearing close to a forest; the entire area was clearly a training ground, and there was already a gathering of committee members, a teacher, and other students. The scary librarian was already waiting for them at the center. Then, Bob showed up, carrying that idiot student's zanpakuto. Which he then threw into a pillar. Ai stared at the pillar as Tensu jumped out to avoid impalement, and Bob dragged her into the group, stating that you either fought or left. Figures.
Ignoring Bob's insanity, she did listen to Momo tell them that essentially, there were no rules and they could all rush her. That was all Ai cared about, but Heton had other ideas. As soon as he finished speaking, Ai just stared at him for a moment, before walking off on him.
Not really caring about any reply he felt like making, Ai moved on, getting the attention of one of her stalkers. They were going to become useful much sooner than she thought. Pulling her into a huddle, she told the hapless one her 'plan.'
"It's simple, they have us beat on skill, but we have numbers. If everyone charges her at once and surrounds her, we can win through sheer force. Spread the word, and remember, everyone rush her as soon as we start."
Her advice imparted, she sent the drone off to tell the grand plan to the others. That taken care of, she went back to the group of people who could actually last more than a few seconds.
"I have a simpler idea. When the rest of them rush Momo and get cut down, we just attack any openings that arise. Hopefully the others provide a good enough distraction to let one of us get in a hit. We all know how we fight best, and can take care of ourselves past that point."
Back to the main fight, Ai took her sheath off her back, hooking it in her sash on her waist while holding on to near the top of the sheath. She trusted the others to do whatever they felt like - she would hang back when the main crowd rushed, and take any opening she saw. Her hand hovered over her sword hilt, ready to draw and hopefully slice in the same movement.

Keiori followed the pink haired girl like the rest of the 'troublemakers' though she kept to the back of the group and unlike many others she walked in silence. Though it was subsiding her left wrist was still aching slightly from having to receive most of the force in her emergency landing, in fact that she had not broken it was quite surprising and one could probably say it was proof to Keiori's innate strength... Though that whole evasion had been one huge feat of strength, so it was not like she needed to show off for anyone to know where her main point lay.
As she followed the group she began to massage her wrist with her right hand, and though it was slight it began to feel better soon. While following the group Keiori's eyes were mostly on her wrist and the ground in-front of her, only occasionally glancing up to take note of where the group was heading. She sucked at remembering directions, and it had become apparent they were bound for quite some distance off pretty early in their march, so what was the point in trying to memorize it? Though the sheer size of the academy was shocking, just how much people did they train here? Though when she thought about it there were six different 'grades', and they took in new people more than once a year so it wasn't that strange they needed a large area... And that it still wasn't even a major part of Seireitei... It really put things into perspective.
Then they finally reached their destination, an open field with a number of pavilions and training gear, along with a forest that ended the field. It was clearly a training area, but for whom exactly was hard to say right away, but judging by how far away it was from their own classrooms it was likely one used by those more advanced in the academy than her. In the field was many other students who had already arrived, along with the glasses girl whom they were meant to fight, a few other Disciplinary Committee members and what seemed to be a Shinigami. It was obvious they didn't shirk on security here, though the Shinigami's presence were more than likely to prevent any serious injuries on the first years parts...
Right after they had arrived another group came through the gate, and as Keiori glanced over them she couldn't help but feel something was off about the picture... Looking again Keiori noticed the over-sized fedora that was a 'bit' too close to the ground for a normal person and Keiori couldn't help but smirk when she saw it was indeed Jim. Though his presence here puzzled her as he did not seem the kind to get in trouble, though he probably had his reasons. Maybe he just wanted to see their strength for himself like she? She was just about to walk over to him as he waved at her after talking with Momo, when she suddenly heard a familiar voice cry out behind her.
"YOU DO NOT HIDE BEHIND A NINJA!!!"
Bob yelled as he tossed what looked like a sheathed Katana with such force it impaled and nearly split one of the wooden pillars of a pavilion, as Amanohara jumped out from behind it probably avoiding impalement upon a sheathed blade by mere millimetres. Though the event that caused her reveal was quite shocking, Keiori wasn't that surprised Amanohara had tried to spy on the 'proceedings' as she were probably as curious as Keiori was on the actual strength of the Committee, but as the smart person she was had not intended to directly take part unless necessary. Which was now the case as Bob dragged her over to the main group in a split second while making it perfectly clear you either fought, or left. This was sensible, though it also meant there were no chance for Keiori to fight while remaining outside the 'bet', though she had not really counted on it to begin with... As Amanohara walked over to where Ai and Heton were standing, which conversely was pretty close to where Keiori herself were standing her gaze shifted away from her sister as a frown crawled it's way up onto her face.
Keiori was barely listening as Heton began telling them of his brilliant plan, though the mention of her name caught her attention and as she turned to look at the guy he just got to the part of telling her to 'get pissed' at one of them... This just caused the frown on her face to grow darker as she walked up to the guy and right as he finished, hit him on the top of his head with her fist while she let out an angry growl. Keiori had approached from the side, so it was unlikely he had really seen her approach or noticed her angry look, and though her bonk on his head must have felt hard for him, she was fighting to hold back and not clobber him completely. "I don't take orders from you!" She said with malice in her voice before she continued past him and began to walk up toward where Jim was standing. She had no intention of following through with any of their plans, she did this for herself alone.
During the short walk toward Jim's group Keiori managed to shed some of her most recent anger though most of it was subconsciously stored in her as it always was. In essence, the angrier she got, the easier she'd loose it completely and then not even god could help whoever caused the overflow. Well unless they were far stronger than her... Then she was the one in trouble. Either way she had a managed to put off her frown as she came up beside Jim, as she waved her right hand lightly as a greeting. "Hey, really weren't expecting to see you here Jim." She said with a smirk on her face, despite all her moody feelings she enjoyed Jim's company, she didn't know exactly why though, maybe because he didn't really seem to care about her 'disposition' when it came to her anger issues? "I don't expect to win, but I'm gonna do what I can. Perhaps we should work together?" While she said this she shifted her gaze to Momo, before she turned back to Jim with an inquisitive look on her face.

Amanohara stood back formulating a plan, she was used to directing others thanks to being the leader of a gang back in Rukongai. Equally she was used to handling situations where victory seemed unlikely so even though she had her doubts after seeing some of the elder students physical displays she was still the best at this. However as she was thinking about this Heton came up with a half-assed plan and was immediately shot down by both the other girls, clearly they weren't the kinds who liked to be told what to do. Taking this into consideration she started trying to figure out how she would give her plan without seeming like she was telling them to conform to her plan. In the meantime she walked over, patted Heton on the shoulder and then walked off after Ai while calling out over her shoulder.
“It was a nice try.”
She approached Ai, Heton having run off to talk to Momo and Keiori storming off to some young boy she did not know. When Ai spoke her plan Amanohara nodded, she could think of a few tweaks that could be applied but if their strength was as different as she was expecting complex strategies probably wouldn't last long enough to work.
“That's about as good as we can do right now, once we see her strength we can consider a deeper strategy...if theres to big a difference we may just have to attack, if it's a compensatable difference we can probably dream something complex up.” She nodded to Ai and looked off at the rest of the group, most going and confirming they were good to go.
Over with Keiori, Jim laughed, “Wellll, I said I was here for a friend...annnnnd while that would probably be true if a friend did need my help in this case it was just an excuse...oh but hey your my friend right! So I didn't lie, yay for manipulation of facts! Anyway, I'm a busybody, can't stay in one place for to long, thus success is the only option for me so that in the future there will always be something new to do. I figure, win or lose, seeing the older students in action will give me a head start...after all I can remember everything I see here and break it down over time to apply it to my own skill-set. And wow...there I go on a monologue at an inappropriate time again, I could be an evil overlord with a little practice.”
When Keiori suggested they work together he nodded, “I have a few more tricks up my sleeve than my appearance might suggest. Don't want to say them out loud because I wouldn't doubt these people have superhearing with everything else they've learned, regardless suffice it to say she won't be expecting it. That's good because if she's got the confidence to take us all on alone then it doesn't take a genius to realize she's far superior in skill and knows it. I'll watch her and memorizing her openings, I won't tell you exactly what to do as I figure if you battle as you normally would then you will do a better job. However after about thirty seconds after you engage her try to keep her attention solely on you for a moment and I'll strike...unless she winds up being stronger than we're expecting....in which case all plans are pretty much moot.”
He shook his head and smiled before raising his hand and calling out to Momo, telling her they they were ready. It seemed they were one of the last as after two or three other people came up to her she nodded and walked out so she stood toward the middle of the field. Just as she fell back into a fighting stance Jim turned to Keiori.
“Watching the subtle way she has been moving this whole time many would call her “elegant” or “controlled”. However they would be missing the real reasoning behind her movements, she's astute in hand to hand combat, from the movements my guess is some form of offensive karate and perhaps a defensive style of jujitsu. Can't say which exactly because even I'm not omnipotent. But the point is she told them to come at her with weapons for a reason, she's probably good at disarming and then countering...it would also serve as the safest way for them to take the first years down with minor injury. So if you know how to fight hand to hand you'll probably fare better than going in with a weapon, if however you aren't then at least don't charge her in a predictable pattern...this is what I'm picking up at least.”, he looked the group over, “See those two boys toward the front to the left with short cut hair? The way their on edge, their going to attack first, if you go from the right you could try to sneak in from her blind spot. However no promises, she's probably expecting someone to come from that angle whether on purpose or by chance, but it's a possibility and likely better than charging her head on. Your choice.”
They turned to watch as Momo made the same signal with her hand that Kuatura had during the previous sparring session and yelled out, “Fight”. Immediately the two boys Jim had pointed out charged at Momo with about as much grace as a one legged bull while drawing their zanpaktou. One jumped into the air while the other drove low, in a flash Momo's hand wrapped around the blade of the lower attackers zanpaktou and grasped above his hand at the hilt. She ripped the blade out of his hand and tossed it to the side, kneeing him in the gut and sending him to the side.
Meanwhile still in the same fluid movement her other hand soared high and she stepped forward so that she was actually under the other student before he even came to the ground. Her hand brushed against his belly and with momentum and energy that didn't seem possible given the movements form she spun her arm over her shoulder, carrying him and tossing him several meters where he came to the ground with a slam and spun several times before coming to a stop in a heap. He did not get up and the first victim was slow to respond, sitting on the ground taking great heaving gasps as if the blow to his gut has been far harsher than it appeared. Momo proceeded to spin on her heel to face the other students and took another jujitsu based form apparently intending to disarm as long as possible.

Heton sighed as Ai walked of. “Come-“ But apparently he had made a poor choice of words when speaking to Keiori, and thus he received a blow to the skull that sent him bending over and grabbing his head. “What the hell was that for?!” He yelled out as Keiori walked away. “Come on was it really THAT bad a plan?” He said as everyone started to walk away. He noticed a hand come on his back and he flinched up expecting to be hit again. But to his surprise, and it was a nice change of pace the way things where going I tell ya! Amanohara simply patted him on the back before walking off and saying it was a nice try. “Thank you! At least someone understands this is not my area of expertise!” He sighed and rolled his eyes before saying. “Forget it.”
At this point in time he walked up to Momo, told her they where ready and walked back. But that’s when one of Ai’s new goons told him the plan. A grin, such a small thing, but it can express so much, shock, happiness, sarcasm, but in this case, it expressed evil. He patted the guy on the shoulder and said. “Good luck with that.” The man gave him a curious look and said. “Is she playing us?” Heton put his hands on his hips and said in about the most sarcastic manner you can imagine. “NOOO! Never! This is going to work out just swell for you!” The man smiled, and ran to tell others. “He must have died before sarcasm was born..” Heton said before shaking his head and walking over to Amanohara.
“Hey, so new plan I take it is, let the idiots attack first, look for a opening and see what we can do from there?” He said before taking a look at Momo and saying. “That footwork she is doing; she has had some form of martial arts training.” He said as he remembered all the hard lessons Gramps had taught him. He walked the same way, all his upper students did. He was the only one in the district that gave a damn about the kids there. He grilled him to protect and care for those weaker then him. The old man taught him well, its probably the only reason he was in this mess in the first place. He would never back down from his principles. Today would be no different. “I have no idea what style she will be using, but it is most likely geared for disarmament.” He said before walking over to the broken pillar and pulling off several long, pointed sticks. He prodded them with his finger and smiled in satisfaction. “They are pretty sharp, good.” He said before laying several down at his feet.
He picked up two and looked at the seven remaining. “Nine, well be good little probs.” He said as he looked a Momo. “I hope were ready for this.” He said as he heard that age old word. “Fight!” He watched carefully as she took down the first two guys. “Alright, try this.” He whispered before throwing one of the sticks, and then the other. They were most likely not going to do any damage, but they covered the distance it record time. They both came in low, heading for her abdomen, and one for her leg. IF she dodged them they would hit the ground and most likely shatter, if they hit, hopefully one would stab. He quickly kicked up two more, probing different area’s at different angles and speed. He might now be a genius, but Gramps had taught him to test his enemies defense well. Within seconds he had used all nine of the long sticks. “Hope that helped whoever was watching.” He said to himself as more students rushed Momo.
Heton started to circle around widely, drawing his sheath and sword. He looked for any open spot he could find. Soon he would take it, as soon as she gave him the opportune moment.

Ai stood off to the side with Tensu, as the first couple of idiots charged Momo. Things ended quickly, as Momo used her bare hands to disarm them both, and she sent one flying over her as the other got a strike to the gut that had him wheezing on the floor. The one that was thrown still hadn't got back up yet.
"Yeah, she really is that strong." Ai muttered, watching the damage. At this rate, they were all almost certainly going to lose; those two may not have been very skilled, but still, to go down that easily. And Ai couldn't really tell what she was using; she had never really fought anyone that relied on their bare hands, sure there were people who used martial arts mixed with sword-fighting, but someone confident enough to take on a sword with their bare hands? Besides, she was a swordswoman, not a hand-to-hand person.
Heton showed up again at this point, and proved that he actually wasn't a total moron, he was just bad at planning. Him pointing out her fighting style didn't particularly help her, except for showing that it was designed for disarming. The best mode of attack would be quick moves that didn't overextend; there was no need to make it easier to grab on to them. For now, she just watched Heton's sticks, observing Momo's reaction to them. She needed to observe her patterns for as much as possible, the more she knew, the better her chances of slipping into an opening and getting a good blow in. At this rate though, the best time to attack would be the moment one of the better fighters here - likely Keiori, she was the most aggressive one here - chose to attack, then the rest of them take advantage of the opening to all attack at once. Fighting skill and sheer numbers were their only hopes here.
"It's like fighting someone with multiple, light weapons. The only real way we're going to make progress is to all attack repeatedly whenever someone strong enough to at least keep her occupied for a few seconds gets involved....."
She watched the next wave of idiots rush in to get clobbered, waiting for someone to take the small opening there, so that she could take the larger one they would cause.
