Keiori laughed when Jim explained why he was here, his honesty regarding the situation was quite refreshing for her, and that he considered her a friend already was something she appreciated. In the end Jim had gone there for the same reason she had, though his reasoning for doing so was far more in-depth than she had ever thought of it. Then again he also claimed to have a perfect memory, so it wasn't that surprising he'd be able to make more direct use of anything he witnessed there compared to everyone else.
Keiori listened intently when Jim agreed to work together, as he began making a basic run-down of the situation. When she had suggested it she had expected to help Jim more than he helped her, not seeming particularly strong and all that... But she quickly realized his observation capabilities was invaluable here and knew that if anyone here was capable of outsmarting Momo, it was him. She also appreciated him taking into account their great differences, merely asking her to try to get Momo's attention after roughly thirty seconds, and she thought she'd be able to manage that even if she might have to resort to some risky moves... She was curious about these tricks he had at his disposal however, she knew very little about Jim when it came to how he fought after all though she guessed it did not involve close combat as his speciality.
While Keiori was still mulling over her options for this fight, Jim called out to Momo and told her they were ready and as most students had apparently done so already, moved into the center of the field and fell into a somewhat familiar stance. Keiori had seen it before, or at least a variation of it though it had been long ago... As she watched the Committee member Jim began a form of explanation of what he'd figured out from his observations, some of it Keiori could tell herself due to her experience in hand-to-hand, but the direct connection between normal hand-to-hand being efficient against a style meant for disarming had not directly occurred to her and as Jim said it would be best to go in unarmed she couldn't help but grin. "Perfect." She said mostly to herself as she removed the zanpakutou from her waist and put the sword still in it's sheath down at her feet. She had preferred not to use her sword in it's current condition anyways, and right now it would only be a dead-weight for her so it was better not to bring it into the fight.
With the explanations out of the way Keiori watched as the two first weaklings rushed in and got their asses handed to them on a silver plater... Way faster than she had time to use the minimal opening that was given... She had to position herself well if she wanted to make it count. Thinking this Keiori began to move into the crowds of students still trying to work up the nerve to attack, and positioned herself behind the closest ones to Momo, but still did not seem to be the ones who would attack next. In fact if she had read the situation right, it would be the ones near the opposite side of the field who would charge in next, though before this could happen the guy who had lost his zanpakutou earlier began to fling pieces of it like projectiles. Quite crafty, though she doubted it would work and so waited until she saw the sign of movement from four other students who began to rush at Momo.
"Excuse me." Keiori said to the guy in-front of her, who seemed a bit confused by it before he suddenly had a surprise weight on his shoulders and then was instantly pushed to the ground. A split second later Keiori soared nearly ten meters above the ground and was about to come down right on Momo in one hell of a drop-kick. However Keiori was aware of the skill of her opponent, and while this kind of attack could more than likely drop her in one go, she had doubts about it connecting to begin with, no this was merely to provide an opening to others who knew what they were doing. Despite this she was prepared in-case Momo somehow managed to both deal with the other students and turn to her, being ready to use her arms to alter her course slightly and thus being capable of at least messing with any counters the older student could throw at her. The moment she landed, hit or miss, Keiori would keep at the attack, even if her legs would most likely feel pretty terrible after the harsh landing she'd have to endure...

By the time Heton had gone about collecting the shards from the pillar the pawns Ai had gone about collecting were starting to attack. Four of them came at once resulting Momo charging them with surprising forward action, after building some momentum she went down into a slide on her left knee and extending each arm. Ending in a palm blow to two of the attackers lower torsos they went flying leading to Momo using the movement to launch off her knee into the air. She had thrown herself right into the path of the shards and yet what happened next was probably unexpected. As they arrived and she entered the cluster she extended both her hands reaching out in wide sweeping motions and plucked every one of them from the air. Then before landing she sent two of them flying into each of the nearest attacking students, while it wouldn't kill them it was certainly painful...as was likely obvious from the obscene amount of screaming and rolling on the ground that followed shortly.
Still in the same motion Momo spun in the air several times while she grasped the remaining shards in bundles in both hands, each between her pointer and index finger. As she came to the ground backwards and went into a slide she crushed the shards in half by bending her hands into fist, upon closer observation it became evident she had done this to double the number of shards in her hand to fourteen. Releasing the shards she caught three between each finger and two extra between her thumb and pointer on each side. She then spun on her foot to turn toward the group while bringing both her hands out in a spread, three of the students in the front went down when struck though they would likely be back up since the projectiles were more painful than dangerous. Regardless a large swarm of about eleven were still finding their way back toward their original sender, Heton, in a spread patter and if several hit he'd be in a lot more trouble than those that had taken one to a outer limb.
But there was no time to watch the results of that endeavor as Keiori was attacking from above. Despite the strength and seeming surprise behind this Momo did not act worried or as if she was taken particularly aback by the move. With one foot on the ground she pushed into a lateral spin and in a moment was parallel to Keiori's back. She reached out and grabbed the girls leg, seeming to realize that going for the front was a bad idea, but the at her rank she could probably sense the girls abundance of spirit energy easily. In this position she pushed backward and spun with no way for Keiori to fight it thanks to the positioning and surprising strength and then she released sending Keiori for a face-plant with the ground. Luckily for Keiori she was high enough that she might be able to brace and take the blow to her legs and arms by landing on all fours but that wouldn't stop it from hurting. Momo then proceeded to land gently on the ground a few meters away while some of the other students began circling her, obviously starting to realize charging right in wasn't going to work.
To the side-lines one might not have noticed, but Jim was no longer standing where he had been and indeed was nowhere to be found on the battleground.

((OOC: Ok so this is super short and shitty. But i dont know what else to do.))
Heton’s eyes widened as he saw his idea used against him. The students fell to Momo’s precise attacks, and powerful strikes like leaves to a hurricane wind. Heton wouldn’t go down so easily though, and he would show her just what he could do. As he saw the shards fly towards him in a shotgun style pattern that just couldn’t be dodged he looked to his side to see a dummy. He grinned and stuck his sword into it before pulling it in front of him. The next step would be a bit trickier. The timing had to be perfect. He placed his sheath firmly under him, and as the shards neared he jumped into the air, using the dummy and his sword as a extra means of balance and as a shield. It wouldn’t last for more then a few seconds, but it was enough time for all of the shards to pass. OR so he thought, as his hand gave way and he started to fall one more shard passed under the dummy’s legs. It scrapped across his right arm, giving it a shallow cut. But what was the worst about it was that it splintered all along his arm, causing every little movement to be painful. “Son of a bitch!” He yelled as he grabbed his arm. “Alright, time to get dirty.” He said as he looked around the training ground.
Heton sheathed his sword and put his sheath back into his sash. He grabbed two of the shards and a metal rod. “Alright, this may be promising.” As he said this he started to shove the shards into the rod. It wouldn’t be much, but it would give him reach and hopefully the shards wouldn’t break upon impact. He started to walk towards the battle field, contemplating the best way to attack. Eventually he decided that he would go as Keiro got back up and tried again. He circled behind Momo, slowly walking threw the masses. Once again timing had to be perfect.

As things started up again, Ai took to wandering around the area herself, not wanting to stay in one place and attract Momo's attention. Her pawns were disobeying her orders to surround her, and were getting clobbered faster than usual as a result. It was their own fault for being stupid, but then they were stupid enough to not notice the blatant manipulation, so there really wasn't much hope for them in the first place. More importantly, Momo's reaction to the shards of wood made one thing quite clear; throwing things at her was bad. Very bad.
Heton was using some shards and a metal rod for a makeshift spear; considering that Momo was best at disarming, Ai didn't see any point in using a weapon that could be so easily grabbed, but a distraction was a distraction. At this point, it looked like she would have to wing it as far as attacking went though.
She absently brushed her hand along the hilt of her sword, trying to think up a new strategy. Hey, whoever's in there, got any ideas? She wasn't expecting an answer, and wasn't disappointed in the lack of response. Looks like I'm on my own.
As some more pawns decided to actually surround her this time, Ai focused her breathing, trying to calm herself even further with controlled breaths, and suppress her reiatsu even more than usual. Momo might still be able to sense her, but the hope was that with the amount of different reiatsu signatures in the area, her's would be fully masked, even if Momo could normally still pick it out. Especially with someone like Keiori in the area.
Momo seemed to be at least wary of Keiori's blows, which was something to take advantage of. She drew her blade silently, taking off her cloak while she was at it - no sense in giving Momo anything to grab hold of. She watched the others crowding Momo, cutting off vision, as she made sure to stay out of her line of sight. When Keiori attacked again, Momo would pay more attention to her than the others. That small shift of focus, in that opening, she would strike. A stab was much faster than a slash, and it gave her better options for improvising a counter in the likely event that Momo intercepted her. If nothing else, between Keiori and herself, the others should be able to get in a real blow.

Keiori had hoped her attack would have been quick enough to surprise the other student, however this was not the case as she had been able to sense her approach due to her uncontrollable reiatsu immediately giving her away and so after making short-work of the distractions Momo wheeled around and ended up behind where Keiori would land. Though Keiori had been ready to prevent any direct counters, she had not assumed the girl would pick up on her presence and react in such a short timespan... With the velocity she was traveling and how close she now was to the ground, avoiding it was impossible and instead she attempted to manoeuvre herself slightly so as to prevent being flung on her back with no way of preventing the impact.
Then Momo grabbed ahold of Keiori's left leg and pushed back, beginning to go into a spin that left Keiori screaming "Yaaaaah!", before she proceeded to let go of her as she was about to do a face-plant. However as fast as she was falling Keiori had good reactions and at this time as she was going head-first toward the ground her reflexes kicked in as she reached out with her arms and with a swift motion managed to redirect her fall enough to roll over her shoulder rather than on her head and while she went tumbling a good five meters before she stopped she had avoided any serious injuries. As she came to a stop she came up in a sitting position looking dizzy and disoriented, before she grabbed her right arm with her left and groaned. "Aaaah... I'm gonna get some serious marks from this..." She said sounding sorry for herself, but soon stood up with fire in her eyes.
That bitch didn't just avoid her attack, she had used it against her and nearly had her head cracked like a melon to the ground. Sure it was a smart move that required a lot of skill, however that didn't help diminish Keiori's rage over the situation and as she turned around to stare at the girl her lightly purple-hued reiatsu began to flare wildly before she came into a run toward the Momo as she raised her right fist and readied to strike, ignoring the fact that everyone else was holding off for now. With speed and power Keiori threw a powerful strike at the girls face however her fist was only met with empty air as Momo quickly side-stepped the blow and was about to hit her in the neck with a quick open handed swipe. Realizing what was about to happen Keiori stomped her right foot into the ground as she did a 180 turn, while skidding across the ground from the momentum she carried as she raised both her arms in-front of her face to block the incoming strike, which instead hit her in the stomach as a fist.
With a gasp Keiori who was already skidding backwards from her momentum was sent falling in her travel direction, unable to collect herself before she hit the ground and slid another meter until she came to a stop. Keiori laid there for a few seconds while holding her stomach, for while the punch had not seemed particularly strong compared to those Keiori threw around, Momo's control of her own reiatsu made a huge difference between the two, for while Keiori's reiatsu shielded her the chaotic nature of it was easy to break through for someone more experienced like Momo. Still pissed off but now with a bit more cool over her Keiori stood up once more and began to slowly walk up toward Momo, stopping two meters in-front of the older student as she went into a fighting-stance reminiscent of Karate, though her actual style was more of a mix between several martial arts and a bunch of improvisation. She had never mastered any sport, not because she was bad at them but because she was 'expelled' from the dojo's she had trained at for her temper which often lead to injuries among other students, she had in-fact gained quite a reputation before she died...
If she had accounted for the time right, it had been roughly twenty seconds since she had jumped into the fight, give or take three or four seconds. When one had a temper the way Keiori did it was easy to forget to count seconds, and the passage of time often felt different when one was engaged in things such as battle. Never the less, Keiori knew she had to keep Momo's attention now, and so struck at the girl with short, precise punches and kicks that would be hard to outright counter, while being prepared for Momo to go on the offensive herself, or any surprise-counters the girl might throw at her anyways. At this point in time Keiori wasn't going to assume she knew anything of what Momo was capable of, it was better to overestimate an opponent than underestimate them.

As Heton began to arm himself, Keiori recovered and Ai positioned, four of the other students had surrounded Momo showing a modicum of intelligence at least. Unfortunately however only one of them seemed to have realized that weapons were actually a hindrance here as the other three had drawn their zanpakutou. This was not of course to say Momo was impervious to weapons, nobody was, but in this case versus less trained opponents her dexterity and limber capabilities were making her vastly superior to them. This was shown in the coming clash as two of the students were quickly stripped of their weapons and with one in each hand Momo stepped back and smacked each student on the back their heads with their own weapons hilts before dropping them to the ground in tandem with their owners going down in unconsciousness.
When the other two struck also correlated with when Keori, and as such the other two, began their respective attempts. Momo seemed to sense this multi-pronged if uncoordinated assault and as such quickly dealt with the other two students, the one who seemed to have a level of martial training could have been an issue but she used the others lack of skill against them both. As she charged she grabbed along the girls arm and with the momentum of her charge simply spun on her foot and directed the girl into a headlong charge into the boy who had been fighting with his hands sending them both to the ground. This ended with Momo facing just as Keiori arrived, though the blows might not have been easily countered Momo showed no signs of finding them difficult to block, easily parrying each strike by shifting its weight to the side and while for the time being Keiori was handling this well she would eventually lose her balance if the blows kept being shifted.
Thankfully for her she wasn't alone as Heton struck from the other side using his makeshift spear, unfortunately for him Ai had judged correctly and this proved even easier to block than the average zanpakutou had. Certainly with Keiori not letting up on one side it had the potential to be a dangerous moment but that was when Momo decided to show that perhaps she hadn't exposed everything she was capable of yet, though that should have gone without saying. She brought her feet parallel so that one of her arms was facing Keiori, still parrying her blows while she reached out with the other and grasped the spear about halfway up the shaft and with a squeeze bent it before ripping it out of Hetons hands and bringing it back toward his stomach, it might not connect but it would force Heton out of an attack path. It was however at that moment that Ai struck from behind and to Momo's left side and then from where Heton had attacked moments prior and where Momo could no longer reach Amanohara came in at her with a spinning strike, though weapons might have been dangerous in this battle, in this particular case Momo likely couldn't stop her and moreover Amanohara's strange style of fighting did not owe itself to prediction of strikes.
What happened next was hard to describe it words but it was obvious Momo discerned that she could not continue to treat these attackers with such a defensively oriented style, and as such their safety was likely not as assured as it had been. For the first time Momo struck a blow extending one of her legs out that quickly penetrated Amanohara's defensive barrier and hit her flat-footed in the chest sending the girl flying through the air. Momo moved her chest forward toward where Amanohara had gone flying and away from Ai's strike. With this extra room she pivoted on her foot and averted the backward blow of the makeshift spear in Ai's direction, however by then Heton had likely had to break off and should not have been able to launch an immediate counter-attack into that opening.
"Ye lord! Mask of blood and flesh, all creation, flutter of wings, ye who bears the name of Man!”
Though the words were uttered clearly from what was now Momo's backside it was doubtful that anyone paid them particular attention, the battle becoming heated now and the words being little more than background noise. Meanwhile with the blow still headed toward Ai, Momo extended her right hand over the left in which she held the spear and caught the latest of Keiori's blows in her outstretched palm sending a small wave of reiatsu outwards from the meeting, having completed the entire movement to ward all her attackers off in the time it took the other girl to throw a single punch. She cocked her head and for the first time seemed like a real opponent when she smiled wryly at the girl as if she understood the realization in Keiori's mind over just how outclassed they were. However it was at that point when she seemed to become aware of the words coming from behind her and which were now coming to a close from within striking distance.
“Inferno and pandemonium, the sea barrier surges, march on to the south! Shot of Red Fire!"
Thats when Jim appeared directly behind her jumping into the air, holding his right arm extended with his left bracing it. At the completion of the incantation his until now completely insignificant reiatsu signature spiked and a supernatural red light coated them all. Though thanks to his proximity to Momo the view was mostly blocked if one could see from the side like Keiori could they would see that a red ball of energy had formed in Jim's hand and then released.
“Imp-” Momo began but her utterance was never completed as the red light consumed her a moment later turned into an explosion that rocked the area, not enough to send them flying but enough to force everyone close to shield their faces and turn the area Momo had been in, into a small but flaming hot crater.
Jim came to a sliding stop just a foot from where Momo had stood, already having been close. However before he could situate himself the spear came out of the cloud of dust and red energy as if it had been thrown like a frisbee and smacked him in the gut. This sent him back a bit in an uncontrolled flip with his hat flying into the air and caused him to seriously begin coughing, a crunch when it hit suggested bad things inside his body. However he seemed to recover quite quickly retrieving a blade from his side and surprisingly another in his other hand from his back, on closer inspection it was Keiori's zanpakutou she had left on the ground. He reached into the air and grabbed his hat between his pointer and index finger while still holding a sword as it fell to the ground and calmly positioned it on his head, bringing it low over his eyes.
That was when Momo came stepping out of the fire with a glare on her face as she eyed him down. She had some red blotches on her arms and face, clear burn-marks and on her back she had a hole in her clothing a good foot in diameter and the skin beneath was raw and red.
She said in a calm but obviously angered voice, “How could you possibly know kido at such a level already?”, before he could do anything though she shook her head, “It doesn't matter, better than I expected but not enough, not even close.”
She stepped back and struck a new pose, even a novice could tell this one was no longer defense oriented with her now clenching her fist. That was when a controlled release of reishi began flowing from her giving a slight pink outline to her body. Subtle as it might have been to those of higher skill than her though it was completely dominating to those students around her, easily matching Keiori's power but in a controlled and crushing fashion.
Jim spoke out as she weighed how she was to strike, “Careful dear, your pride is showing.”
Instantly Momo spun with a fierce backhand toward Ai that was doubtful she could dodge completely and would likely knock her for a round no matter where it struck unless it was a limb. She had likely judged Ai's previous strike to be the most dangerous should she wound up surrounded once more.

Heton grinned as Momo caught his spear, both her hands where now tied up. His plan worked. As she took the spear from him and went to smash it into his gut he dived for the dirt. It passed right above his head and as she kept moving he came up pulling out his sword in a upward slice across her chest and would end with his blade in the air before he turned to make another attack. She was preoccupied with Ai, Keiori, and Amanohara, it seemed like the perfect strike to him.
But then something happened, Momo switched to a offensive style and quickly sent Amanohara flying before going for another attack at Ai with his makeshift spear. He leaned backwards under the attack as it went for Ai, his sheath the only thing keeping him balanced. He grabbed the sheath and used it to push himself up. Noticing that his comrades where going down he jumped back and began to walk backwards, never taking his eyes off Momo.
He hissed in pain as his arm cried out against the actions he had just taken. His adrenalin was still pumping, but it wasn’t enough to silence the pain at this point. He heard a noise in the background but paid no attention to it. He was completely focused on Momo, but what happened next was a huge shock, considering he hardly saw Jim or the red orb. Momo was hit by a powerful beam attack. “Holy shit! Who called in the phasers?! ENTERPRISE BEAM ME UP!” He yelled out as he watched the smoke clear. But then Momo used his staff, again, and sent poor little Jim flying.
Momo was completely focused on him, but he wasn’t ready to strike. Not yet at least, not with that evil aura of pink around her, no, no, no, that would be suicide. And despite being otherwise dumb occasionally Heton was not suicidal. Instead he decided to let things play out a bit more until he had a real opening that wouldn’t most likely kill him.

It was going better than expected. As Keiori attacked again, and Heton came in with his spear, Momo decided to show off and fend the two of them off with one hand each. The bad thing was that things with the spear went exactly as she thought it would; she didn't want Momo armed, not with anything that she couldn't cut through under any event. The opening provided was too good to pass up though, and Tensu's additional attack just made things better.
Well until Momo got offensive anyway. She had to hop back quickly to avoid getting her head smashed in by the makeshift spear, and Tensu got kicked away far too easily for comfort considering the situation. Then there was that odd chanting, was someone trying to pray for guidance? And now Momo was getting overconfident if that smirk meant anything, maybe that could be exploited -
Ai's train of thought was broken when that kid in the oversized clothing jumped out, holding a glowing red orb. From Momo's reaction and the reiatsu he was giving out, it wasn't just a light show either. The explosion pretty much confirmed that, along with nearly blinding her.
She definitely had to learn how to do that.
Unfortunately, Momo was fine enough to send the guy flying with that spear - thank you Heton - and that crunch didn't bode well. And now the freshly charred Momo was going purely offensive, and trying to crush them with her reiatsu. Someone with Keiori's power and the ability to actually use it properly..... this was not going to end well. Ai immediately shifted to a defensive stance, ready for anything.
Well, except the backhand from hell.
It was all Ai could do to jump backwards, bringing her sword up to guard. It wasn't even a conscious reaction; it was sheer instinct and reflexes moving her, and what saved her from getting outright knocked unconscious. As it was, she was thrown back after getting slammed through her sword, and her hand bracing it, and she was sure that she heard a cracking sound. Hopefully it wasn't a bone.
She quickly stabbed her blade into the ground - it was probably a bad idea, but the alternative was getting her head slammed into the ground, and she didn't need more head trauma. Once again, things played out as expected, to their worst conclusion. Ai herself was quite light, but she didn't exactly get love-tapped, and her blade protested the strain via breaking on her.
She landed on her feet, the gunshot crack of the blade breaking not helping the beginning of a major headache.
Let's see, I nearly got knocked out by a blow that only grazed me, my sword is now half its length, and I'm going to have the mother of all migranes later. On the good side, that cracking wasn't any bones; I just lost some feeling in my left hand. Oh yeah, definitely killing her.
She didn't know exactly how she was going to do it, but there was no way she was letting Momo walk away without leaving some kind of mark on her. While having half a sword was likely going to piss off whatever spirit she was supposed to have, a shorter sword did suit her fighting style better.
In spite of everything, her face broke out into a grin; she came looking for a real fight, and she was getting it in spades. Her own stance started to shift to a more aggressive form; if Momo attacked her again, she couldn't defend against it in any way, so her best bet was to counter-attack. Momo made it quite clear that she wasn't going to turn her back on her again under any event.

Keiori went in with a offensive- but still balanced style, ignoring how the other students fell in droves and beginning to making quick and precise jabs at Momo while being ready to do a sweep-kick in-case she'd need to put some space in-between them. However Momo remained defensive and as she was pre-occupied with Keiori the other more useful students came in to take advantage of the 'opening'. Keiori was expecting the committee member to let up on her end when she was forced to switch her focus toward Heton, but this was not the case as she began to parry her attacks with just one arm while not fully looking at her... Had it not been obvious before, this was definitely proof of her proficiency far outweighing Keiori's.
However as she disarmed Heton and swiped at him with her newly acquired spear, Amanohara and another girl came in from the openings Momo had now left for herself and for a moment it seemed like they would actually win this, and seeing her chance Keiori drew her arm back and put as much power into it as she could in her 'not-THAT-angry' state before she struck again.
However somewhere something went horribly wrong as Momo switched gears and went into 'kick-your-face-in' mode and quite literary kicked Amanohara for a loop before she gracefully avoided the other girls strike by pivoting about on her foot and spinning Heton's spear about before she finally half-turned to Keiori and raised her other hand to catch the punch that seemed to have taken ages to reach it's target. The wide opening that had been there had been replaced with a wall in a split second, and her fist was caught in Momo's palm like if it had been a light jab as a faint wave of reiatsu was expelled from the impact...
Keiori had not even had the chance to react to any of this... Utter shock was what Keiori was feeling at the moment, how much was this girl actually holding back? Despite expecting her to not be using her all Keiori could never have suspected THIS... It was otherworldly to say the least... Then Momo had to act all arrogant-like and smiled at her, she was looking down on her! Whether this was justified or not given their wide power-gap Keiori outright HATED when someone acted all 'holier than thou' all over her. She didn't care about the large difference between them anymore, she would give this bitch something to remember her by even if it killed her!
With hell's fury written all over her face it was only Momo's own reaction that warned Keiori of the incoming fireball, and what allowed her to jump back in time not to get caught up in the initial blast even though supernatural flames licked her forearms that now covered her face, though the contact had been so slight it had barely left any marks, the edges of her uniform was blackened. Keiori had not suspected Jim to be capable of something like this, though this explained why it had become necessary for someone to draw Momo's attention, for while she had not paid attention she know recognized the noise in the background of the fight as chanting, no doubt it had been connected to this red ball of fiery energy. Not to mention how flashy it had been before it had it had been shot.
Only moments after Jim had landed on the grassy field he was hit in the gut by the broken make-shift spear Heton had so graciously given her earlier in the round, which sent the little boy flying as a sickening crunch could be heard from the impact... Keiori immediately went into a half-circular run around Momo "Jim!" She yelled as she did with genuine concern in her voice, though she slowed down into a sprint when she saw how he managed to land on his feet and with an action that might have been cool had he not looked like a small child wearing an over-sized dress, caught his fedora between his fingers and then placed it back on his head.
Stopping next to him Keiori turned to look toward Momo who had now taken a directly offensive stance, and began to glow with an intense amount of reiatsu though rather than flaming wildly it was surrounding her like an aura... Her voice up until now had been in control, though Keiori could easily recognize the anger behind it. No doubt she was pissed about letting them get off such a potent attack at her, and so went all-out now. This was both positive and negative, for while they know knew about how much power Momo possessed, it would be hard to get her into the same kind of position as before and she probably wouldn't fall for it either way... Jim's comment about letting Momo's pride show brought her back to the now however.
"You okay? You took quite a hit from that shaft." She asked Jim with slight concern in her voice, though she did not taking her eyes of Momo. However this hardly mattered as Momo went straight for the other girl who was barely able to react, as she got hit at the side of her blade with a powerful backhanded strike that sent her flying where she tried to right herself by plowing the blade into the ground. This might normally have worked, however it seemed Momo's strike had crippled the blade and the extra strain now put on it caused it to break, leaving part of it stuck in the ground as the girl went reeling across the ground...
No longer needing to worry about Jim, Keiori let her until then suppressed anger out in it's full fury as she was once again enveloped in violently burning flames of reiatsu as she consciously concentrated on that wry smile the bitch had given her earlier. She had a promise to full-fill, and her fist had a date with Momo's face. She didn't care how she did it, but she was so not gonna let Momo stomp all over her just because she was stronger! And with those thoughts Keiori was the first to strike as she ran up toward Momo as she began to assail the girl with quick but powerful strikes. Whether Momo would intercept her strikes before she could really keep her busy or not didn't concern Keiori at the moment, no she was actually HOPING Momo would attack her, for when she did she'd either try to grab ahold of her arm, or kick/knee the other girl in the gut if the opportunity arose. She wasn't going down without a fight, oh no...

Well maybe Keiori THOUGHT she wasn't going down without a fight. That was until Momo redirecting her attention and momentum from Ai swung around in a broad motion, kicking up dirt as she went and then firmly planted a two-fisted body strike into Keiori's defensive zone in the time it took to blink. However just as she was upon her Jim came in from the side with both zanpakutou ready to strike forcing Momo to the side just before she took Keiori out, however unlike her previous defensive form this did not seem to make offensive Momo falter in any regard, instead she just focused on Jim instead. Jim without lifting his gaze from Momo spoke over his shoulder to Keiori, giving tactics away in front of the enemy wasn't exactly a stroke of genius but then there were few other options in this case.
“Go left Keiori!”
As he said this he moved to the right and began moving the blades back and forth striking multiple attack poses, clearly an attempt to make his actual attack plan harder to follow. When they reached her, assuming Keiori had moved with him, he struck from the right with one blade high and the other low. However Momo easily dodged these strikes and retaliated mostly in Jim's direction, thankfully small stature proved of use here and allowed him to dodge since after working around the blades he had in front as defense he provided a rather small target. That was when Amanohara came dropping from above making a very similar entrance to the one her sister had just a bit ago.
“Ai, go for the back!” Jim yelled out not explaining how he knew everyones name just yet, however he seemed to notice that she was standing back and trying a different tactic and his countenance grew glum.
Without Ai attacking from the back that left a big wide open hole in their assault for Momo to exploit. Momo seemed to judge that Amanohara was the most dangerous and reached upward. Of course she couldn't do the same thing she had with Keiori with all these attackers around but she clearly had a plan anyway. She deflected Amanohara's lower body with her hands forcing the smaller girl to ride her arms like a rail changing the blow and the direction of her movement. Once she was to the side she performed a broad kick and caught Amanohara in it, half-way through the spin of the kick the younger girl was sent flying, Momo slowed the movement of the kick as if building up force for a moment and then brought it straight at Keiori. It came with extreme speed, Keiori might be able to block it but if she didn't she was definitely going flying and was going to be out for good, even if she did block it she was still going to be out of the fight for a moment and it'd probably do bad things to the arms used to block it.
With the others cleared she descended on Jim who launched into a series of rather fancy moves with the dual blades. He actually managed to parry her from grabbing him for about five seconds but she inevitably found a way and caught him by the collar and gave him a hard shake before she brought her other hand back. Faster than could be seen she hit him with extreme force in the gut area.
“GAH!!! Oh wow that was my spleen!”
Momo reached back and hit him in the same place with even more force again forcing him to let go of the blades.
“ONLY – GAAAH!!!! ITS NOT A SPLEEN ANYMORE!!! ITS LIKE SPLEEN-PASTE!!!”
Momo slammed him once more and then tossed him to the ground where he rolled a dozen meters before coming to a stop that he did not get up from. Momo kicked the blades up that he had dropped and caught them in her left hand before she spun on her heel and tossed them like giant daggers. One at Heton and one at Ai, closing in on them with frightening speed that could easily cleave a limb off if they took the actual sheen of the blade.

Momo deciding to stop fooling around was already foreboding bad things, and it looked like she was quite serious about it. Keiori decided to charge in again, and Momo responded by knocking her away quite easily, until the midget swordsman started directing things. It didn't end very well though, possibly because part of his plan was assuming that Ai would actually charge right back in after getting knocked across the field. Ai was a sniper, not a front line berserker; she kept her distance and struck whenever she got an opening.
Of course in this case, there was no such thing, as Momo proceeded to take out both of the sisters in the same kick, before grabbing the other guy and punching him in the gut repeatedly. From his screams, she likely also ruptured something.
Well, this fight is over. With three of them clobbered so quickly, it was quite clear that they were going to lose at this point. Ah well, she did get what she came for; now she knew how much of a power boost to expect over the years. She really didn't have time to muse on that though, since Momo was hell bent on ending all of them right here. She kicked up the short one's swords and used them as oversized throwing daggers. Maybe she was more ticked that Ai tried to kill her earlier than she let on.......
Under any event, she wasn't in the mood to die a very ironic death. Stepping forward, she threw her half sword at the blade like a javelin, as she kicked up the other half of the blade, grabbing it in her left hand. By this point, the two swords had met, both getting knocked into the air on impact. Still moving forward, her right hand reached out, grabbing the hilt of the sword that Momo threw, her body twisting to throw it right back at her, the blade spinning in an arc, unlike Momo's spear throw.
Swords are not meant to be thrown, especially like that; it is to be expected that the blade would not fly towards where one intended it to go. That said, the sword's path towards the center of Momo's chest could be dismissed as either sheer luck, or considering Ai's actions so far, her aiming for the neck and the blade dropping slightly. Ai using the blade's momentum as a distraction, throwing the blade tip the moment that the sword's arc was at it's peak, conveniently at Momo's eye level, was another matter. It would be obvious to anyone paying attention that one didn't get that kind of timing without actively practicing it. It didn't hurt that the blade tip was shot like a spear, straight towards the heart.
She really didn't want to show what she was actually skilled at around the others - it would make it harder to get away with killing people if they knew her preferred method of doing it - but for now, she just wanted a shot at actually injuring Momo before she inevitably got knocked for a loop again. Besides, the only person she really didn't want knowing was Tensu, and she likely was in no condition to be paying attention to her. It did defeat the purpose of threatening that guy to keep his mouth shut when she went and showed her cards anyway though.
If nothing else, the next few days ought to be interesting Hopefully her broken blade would actually fall low enough for her to grab it before Momo decided to go clobber her - she wasn't exactly the best hand-to-hand fighter and she didn't want to take any of those blows bare handed.

Raijin grew more confused as the training went on. The old man just wasn’t making any sense! One moment he would tell him he should focus solely on the energy within him and try to manifest it outside of himself; then in the same breath tell him to focus on the energy outside of himself and manifest it inward. Raijin steadily grew frustrated and threw his hands into the air. “Your not making any god damned sense! I’m sure what the others are doing is much more interesting than this!” With that Raijin drew up his zanpakuto and ran off in the direction he saw his former classmates go to.
“Get your ass back here! Your lesson ain’t over yet!” The old man yelled after him, then his face grew long and sad. “I’m just so lonely…”
Raijin heard the old man, but it only prompted him run faster. As he approached the battle grounds he noted that the area looked like it had seen a war not a battle between students. He began to shake as he drew his blade and looked around for someone to pair up with so he wouldn’t instantly get destroyed. He turned to his right and his eyes grew wide as he witnessed Momo’s assault on Jim. “GAH!!! Oh wow that was my spleen!”
“Are you freaking kidding me!?” Raijin screamed as he looked at Jim and then saw the follow up hit and shivered like a cold new born baby. “How is this even possible?” He thought to himself and tried to back away from she-devil that was Momo. He turned just in time to see Ai throw the swords like spears and looked at her. “Are you nuts!? I just got here and I know not to attack..that…that thing! I’m sure she has done much worse than what I’ve witnessed!” Raijin didn’t know what to do, he knew if he was going to be a shinigami he’d have to suck it up eventually. He took in one deep breath and gripped his sword again and waited for the inevitable beating and only hoped he could defend himself for a minute or two.

OOC: Note to self: Writing while tired enough to sleep on the floor results in mindless rambling.
It wasn't that Keiori had underestimated Momo's strength... Ok, she did underestimate her, but just a bit, sorta. But more than anything, the gap of sheer experience and overall strength was hard for someone like Keiori to really grasp and so she thought that if she just focused her all on countering Momo's attacks she would be able to at least harm the girl. This was not the case however as just as Keiori came in to strike at her, the committee member planted her fists in Keiori's gut before she could even react and defend herself. Though there was a lot of strength behind the blow, both physically and in terms of reiatsu, the way it did not cause Keiori to fly back like one might expect from it suggested that either Keiori received it in such a way, or Momo had intended to finish Keiori in quick succession.
The way Keiori lurched forward and gasped for air after receiving the blow however suggested it was the later of the two and it was only Jim's intervention that stopped Momo from cracking her skull. Though Keiori had not even gotten close to recovering completely when Jim gave her directions, Keiori was no stranger to forcing her body to move even when it (and her) didn't really want to. The only reason she was even able to move at all was her excessive amount of reiatsu which had guarded against the majority of the strength behind Momo's attack, however it was chaotic and uncontrolled and so it's defensive capabilities were weak and had easily been shattered.
Even though she had been forced to her knees from Momo's earlier strike she was quick to stand as she half-shambled, half-ran toward the left and went around on the opposite side of Jim and made an attempt to attack the girl, however she dodged the high-kick Keiori threw in her direction quite simply by attacking Jim, dodging both Keiori's kick and getting into a more opportune position to get through the 'boys' own attack by side-stepping. Still gasping for air but determined to not give up just yet Keiori pulled her leg back and tried to force out every last drop of power she could into her fists, and it was just then that Amanohara came dropping from above and though not countered quite like Keiori had been the lack of a fourth attacker gave Momo just the opening she needed to deal with all of them.
After redirecting Keiori's sisters descent Momo caught the girl in a wide, sweeping kick that sent the girl flying, but instead of stopping she pressed on and before Keiori knew it the kick was heading in her direction... Keiori herself had tried to make use of Momo focusing on Amanohara, but instead this turned toward her disadvantage as she had rushed straight into the kick and only had moments to react, with her momentum carrying her toward Momo. In a last ditch effort not to get herself horribly disfigured Keiori pushed away with her right leg, pushing herself away from the kick while she raised both arms over her chest to recieve the kick. The result was Keiori being flung away at a far greater speed than she herself had anticipated, sending her crashing into one of the many training dummies that littered the edges of the training field, the dummy itself breaking apart under the power of the living projectile colliding with it. After coming to a stop a few meters behind where the dummy had once been, Keiori let out a painful groan. She wasn't saying it, but she was thinking it, "ow...".
Luckily Keiori had survived the encounter without any permanent injuries or even broken bones, apart from a few ribs. And she would recover given time, however it was unlikely she'd be able to stand up on her own for at least a couple minutes time. In the background she heard Jim yell, however her flight had done more than knock the wind out of her and she couldn't properly tell just what was said, though it was something about a spleen... Time passed differently when ones mind was all over the place, and so it seemed like both an eternity and a moment before she heard the clear sound of clashing steel, however the way it was given off did not suggest them being held by anyone, how she knew this wasn't really important and this observation was probably lost before it was even fully digested. Shortly after this the desperate yells of some guy she didn't know sounded out somewhere nearby, however it was too much effort to try and turn to look in her beaten state and so only resigned to listening as well as she was able, though she still had trouble piecing things together.

((OOC: Joint post between myself and Kensei.))
------------
This battle was over, anyone with fighting experience knew it, at the very least Ai knew it though she attempted a last minute attack. Unfortunately the forces she could enact on the blade weren't as great as those Momo was capable of and instead of acting like a harpoon they were more like clumsy, mis-weighted but incredibly sharp whirly tops. Regardless whether as a show of skill or sheer luck the first blade managed to find its mark, headed straight for Momo's chest. She was however, unimpressed and turned the tide once again by performing a quick spin to the side, at first it appeared she had simply dodged to the side but as the blade whirled upward it became clear she had actually caught it by the back end before it went flying away. Once the momentum had worn of she gripped it firmly in her left hand.
Ai had released the blade tip just after the sword and it was in fact right on Momo in the moments after but having a clear view of Ai and a prepped blade in hand she was at an advantage. Despite the accuracy with which the young girl had thrown the improvised projectile Momo was equally accurate with her sword swing. In one motion she smacked it out of the air and then bore down on Ai with incredible speed, closing into her personal space in a flash. She readied her blade and ran it through Ai though after a few seconds it became evident that she had pierced the girls cloak, right in the left arm-pit area. Momo was now close and in the girls face.
“Inaction. You're dead.” Obviously referencing Ai's lack of taking part in cornering Momo during Jim's plan.
And then a palm with the force of a small car behind it came up and slammed Ai in the face, despite the force it had been a concentrated blow and instead of sending her flying she just stumbled back slightly. A moment later blood started pouring out of her nose and finally Ai simply fell backward to the ground with a none-to-comfortable sounding bang. Finished with that task and with sword still in hand Momo turned to Heton, though in dealing with Ai she had at least given him enough time to enact one final...if futile, plan.
Heton knew he couldn’t help Ai out, only use the time she had given her to think of something. He looked around his surroundings, before finding a weighted bag filled with sand. He assumed it was used to keep the training equipment stuck in the ground. But he didn’t have the time to think anything over. He sliced off the top corner of it with his sword before grabbing it and pouring out about half of it, leaving about a hand full in the make shift bag with enough extra length on it to be able to loosely tie it to his sash. He had a blinding attack, now he needed a distraction. There was a tree right over him, it looked kinda rotten to him, perfect. He jumped into the air, grabbing its nearest branch, causing the branch to snap. He sheathed his sword as he kicked through the branch, making two fairly good size pieces. He now had his distraction, and the hourglass had run out of sand.
He turned to face Momo, only to see Ai fall to the ground unconscious. He rushed her, knowing well that he had to get close to have any hope of doing anything. As they neared each other Heton threw both of the rotten sticks at Momo. He had anticipated that she would grab them, or deflect them, but in her current state she would most likely use a lot of force, causing the rotten planks to burst apart. He aimed both for her face, so hopefully the small shards hit her face and eyes; but he didn’t have time to make sure it worked. Step two was simple, he reached his left hand to the back of his sash and yanked on the bag, tearing it lose. He then would swipe it across the air in front of them, while closing his own eyes and pulling out his blade in an attempt to slice at her chest/abdomen. He would slice again if he had the opportunity.
It might have been a good plan...if Heton had stopped to think for a moment and hadn't relied so much on assumption. It was true that Momo batted them out of the way with force, however that force happened to be strongly to the side as she swiped with her blade sending most of the shards far clear of her face. Then the sand trap exploded, potentially giving Heton an opening, but as soon as he swiped with his blade his hand was stopped. He got a good look for a moment as Momo had reached in and grasped him by the wrist, then much like Ai she got in close to his face. However instead of saying a word she simply pointed toward her glasses with her free hand which she had maneuvered close to her eyes. Then without waiting another moment Momo kneed Heton in the gut and then pulled her hand back, having knocked the wind out of him she disarmed him easily. She brought her knee to a standing position and left the blade on it before she grabbed Heton by the head and slammed his forehead into his blade making the hilt give out an ominous cracking sound in the process before she dropped both of them.
Moments later Momo came walking out of the cloud of sand with the blade still clasped in one hand and positioning her glasses on her face with the other. She tilted her head to the side as a massive psychotic grin spread across her face as she looked to the few remaining students. And then, as the rest of them laid in unconsciousness or nearly so, contemplating their failures, the screams began. They were destroyed, and what happened to Raijin...oh my, what happened to Raijin...just...just to horrible, to horrible for words. Anyone would surely forgive him for blocking out how his pants eventually wound up on his head.
------------
Slowly voices filtered into the minds of those regaining consciousness, few having managed to avoid such a state. At first they seemed far off but as the students began to awake it became clear they were caring voices telling them to sit still and rest, further awakening showed that there were now several healers tending to the students wounds. Almost all of the students were laid out on the ground near the pavilion slowly recovering from their varied injuries, though the speed with which they had awoken suggested the shinigami knew techniques unknown to common medicine. One might notice that both Jim and Amanohara were nowhere to be found. Whatever the case the students eyes would soon pass to the pavilion where Momo among other Disciplinary Committee members were standing around watching them and talking. Momo in particular looked brand new with no signs of the battle that had occurred and her demeanor was one more that of a calm, collected authority figure. As more students awoke she and the others began to make their way toward them.

Keiori never fell unconscious, her body was tough beyond her natural form thanks to having been infused with intolerable amounts of reiatsu since shortly after her birth and though this had given her certain issues when she grew up such as constantly pushing her physical limits too far, she had overcome them and with it become a scary opponent to face in close quarters. Well, until now anyhow.
That isn't to say that she was able to really pay attention to what was going on however, she had been flung around quite badly and so she was more than a little 'dizzy', unable to truly piece things she heard or saw together properly for a good fifteen minutes and so she just laid on the ground with training dummy pieces scattered around her, absent-mindedly noticing the numerous people moving around the large number of students that had been knocked to the ground. It wasn't so much that she wasn't able to get up and move by this point but that she wasn't feeling like it, she had spent nearly all of her usual reiatsu reserves upon being at full blaze for nearly the entire fight and so was exhausted both physically and mentally but when other students began to wake up and stand she deemed it necessary to do the same.
With a groan Keiori slowly sat upright, only then noticing she had some splinters stuck in her back which she lazily removed, the splinters hadn't gone deep and so the bleeding they produced was minimal at best, but they did sting quite a bit. With a carefree look around the field Keiori noticed that Jim was gone, or at least she didn't see him and the same could be said of Amanohara though her sister had been more of an afterthought at the time.
Finally standing up Keiori shook her head as she looked about once more, noticing Momo standing in the pavilion a short distance away and along with a few other students Keiori began to make her way toward her. With a still semi-absent look in her eyes Keiori walked up and stood in-front of Momo, before she crossed her arms over her chest and bowed similarly to how one showed respect before or after a spar with other martial artists, though whether this was a new thing from when she was training in the real world or not was beyond her, she merely thought it fitting. "I hope that if we ever face each others again, that I will prove a more challenging opponent by myself. Thank you." She said this as she bowed, and as she finished she slowly turned around and began to walk away, looking for where her sword had been dropped only to find it missing... Hopefully Jim had held it for her while she was "out of commission".
