Raijin took in a deep breath and rolled his eyes at Heton's response about being awe struck by Bob whom he found to be little more than another wheel on the crazy train that this place was turning into. Everything was absolutely insane around here, the people, the teachers hell even the lay out didn't make a lick of damn sense! The girl literally spent two minutes just explaining how to get to their room, THEIR ROOM!? He couldn't imagine how damn hard it would be to navigate the place to find a bathroom or even the cafeteria! Groaning slightly, he put his hand to his face and began to vehemently shake it as if trying to rid some of the craziness from him; he wasn't going to enjoy his years here...he could already tell. Thankfully the other students knew the way and would lead them later thankfully, but he didn't know if he wanted to stand around here for that long...spontenious energy and all that jazz, yadda, yadda who gave a damn at least Heton was telling him about his past life which prompted Raijin to do the same.
"In my past life, I lived in Tokyo and I died rather quickly on the streets...embarrassingly enough it was because some kid dropped a yen off of the top of a skyscrapper. I was stupid and looked up at the thing flashing in the sky and it end up going right through my eye and lodging itself inside of my skull. I was dead before the paramedics arrived on the scene to pick me up, but I'm used to a lot of background noise." He responded quickly as he took a step forward and looked around the entire area wondering what to do now that everyone seemed so ready to move on. His body was still aching from the beating he had gotten, but at least now he could move about and wasn't lying on the cold ground completely immobile.
"No...nothing yet, I was just a normal student and moving into the real world when I died and even in the Rukongai; I was little more than a punching bag for everyone around me. I don't know whats up with the developement of spiritual power or anything, but I know it's pretty cool to watch the shinigami do their stuff." He said again, not thinking about much in particular except getting stronger and finding a way to make at LEAST one girl in this school talk to him without slapping him in the face or walking off immediately after. Shrugging, he turned back to Heton not sure of what to do.
"Should we go into the infimary and check things out in there or should we head back to our rooms and chill to till tomorrow? I'm not much for sitting still out in the open even if only for ten minutes. I've gotta do something."

OOC: Bit short, but didn't know what else to add.
Keiori remained in a dazed state sitting on her knees, her eyes seemingly not focusing on anything while she had a blank expressionless look on her face and it was only by the time that Ai began poking her that she seemed to pay attention to anything outside of her own mind at all. While she was clearly beginning to take actual notice of her surroundings again she still didn't seem about to jump up on her feet by herself at the moment as she slowly moved her head to look up at Ai before turning her head back down again. Though she might have registered Ai's words she did not really seem to be in the mood to answer, merely nodding her head and emitting a barely audible "mhm..." Though when Ai tried to get her to move shortly after she followed without making any effort to resist and it wasn't long before they were both seated on one of the empty beds and for better or worse Keiori seemed to be coming back to her senses as rather than staring at the floor with dead eyes she was now looking over to Amanohara with a sad expression on her face.
Though she didn't really pay any heed to this new girl that had entered the room just yet she did turn her attention to Ai when the girl began to ask her about her health again, still looking a bit sad but also a bit confused like if not really understanding what Ai was talking about though her attention was once again moved to the newest arrival when the 'princess' piped up to Ai simply looking at her and though Keiori might normally have been a bit angry over being called a baby she just wasn't registering it like she normally would right now and instead let her eyes go to the point of interest, that being the very shallow wound on the girls leg. Suddenly Ai's words made a lot more sense to her though if she hadn't felt so bad about Amanohara and Jim she might even have laughed it was for someone to request expert first-aid for such a shallow cut.
"Well, I don't know, I feel fine... Might have scratched my back a bit toward the end of it though..." She said this with a near monotonous voice, after which she took off her kosode that had by this point gotten faint red stains along parts of the back and was visibly torn if someone looked a bit closer. After dropping it on her legs she turned slightly while reaching out behind her back with her right arm trying to feel for herself how bad it might be, and though it wasn't clearly visible due to the red shitagi (under shirt) that was part of the uniform there were some blood splotches along her back and several tears in the thinner material of the under shirt which showed that she indeed had several injuries from when she had been kicked into that training dummy. Some of the pieces having either broken off inside or still being stuck... Luckily none of them looked to be very deep at a glance but the amount of blood that was starting to force it's way out after the kosode had been removed meant it might need looking at. On the other hand she didn't really seem to notice it herself or really feel the pain all that much until she pulled her bloodstained hand back and stared at it blankly for a few seconds. "Well, some bandages might be good." Though not intentional, the almost uncaring way she said it might be seen as mocking to the 'princess' depending on what she perceived as insults.

((OOC: Wanzer I'm attempting to end this first day so we can get back to an actual story, so in this case I'm just going to assume you stayed there and went back to the dorm with them. Otherwise we're just going to continue to wander aimlessly without purpose.))
----------------
Several minutes afterward the boy did just as he had said, reappearing with a large following of first year boys. He passed by Heton and Raijin and motioned to them, soon enough they were moving through hallways. The girl hadn't been lying for the path they strode was unforgivably complex, it would be a miracle if half of them made it back alive without a guide...or at the very least it would take a very long time. On the bright side for today they did have a guide and made it through about ten minutes later to an open field with a path winding up the the walled male dormitory in the distance which they made their way to.
Just before they passed through the gates they found Kuatura standing there, it was clear he was waiting for them. The two older boys shot into instant military stance with salutes whereas most of the first years were probably still oblivious as to who they really had walking around the academy for now. After talking the two down he turned to the first years and held out his hands.
“Alright, zanpakutou collection time! Don't need any of you shivving any of the others in the middle of the night.”
He made his way around the group snatching them up until he had a hilariously large bundle in his hands. Yet just like when he had pulled the whole shelving unit full of them, this did not seem to tax him in the slightest. Eventually he had them all in hand and with little fanfare made off into the evening. It seemed he did not intend to talk about what had happened, whether this was purposeful to allow introspection on the students parts or whether that was just how he was, was something only he knew.
They had hardly made it five feet inside when they were accosted by six boys, or well rather one extremely excitable boy flanked by five less exuberant ones. Rather than attempt to help them their guides made off past the group into the dorms, though it wasn't as if the group seemed malevolent.
“YAAAAAYY!!!!” Yelled the apparent leader, a skinny black boy with large glasses and a bandanna.
“Welcome back! We made hats!” He reached into a bag one of the boys behind him was holding and pulled out a hat made out of colored construction paper with the words, '#1 Sucker' written across the top. He held one out to the first boy he saw which just happened to be Raijin, “Oh and we made food!”
He turned around to the rest of the older boys who didn't seem to be into this in the least, “Hey, you all, DISTRIBUTE THE HATS!!!” They reluctantly did as he said and then he turned back to the first years, “Right so as I was saying, welcome to the Suckers club! We're made up of whats left of the idiots that challenged the Disciplinary Committee on our first day as well.” He nodded emphatically, “Should you survive the year you can have the joy of joining up next year! Now FOOD!”
He held his fist up into the air and charged toward the nearest building whereupon he threw open the door. However he allowed nobody in unless they wore the premade hats, after all it was a club. Contrary to all appearances it did not seem this was in fact a hazing, true to his word there was food, and good food at that. It seemed the boy whose named turned out to be Daniel Brown was simply an excitable people person...the rest of the Suckers...less so, but nice as they needed to be. At the very least something nice had come out of this mess, food mostly.
----------------
When Ai responded to Misha and Keiori simultaneously downplayed her “wound” and moreover made fun of her status there was a drastic shift in the girls demeanor. She didn't say a word but simply stared at the two of them, both of whom were doubtlessly familiar with the gaze having survived Rukongai. It was the look murderers wore with deep-seated, barely contained anger and rage toward all. But it wasn't just the norm, it was backed up by something they had probably never felt before, reiatsu. Not the reiatsu their brief tutorial had taught them to use or even the battle reiatsu Momo had emitted, it was the reiatsu of someone who truly wanted to kill you. For whatever reason, a small amount of patience namely, this girl wanted to kill them and there was the strong possibility given the vibes she was putting off that she very well could.
The girls had doubtlessly realized the danger by now and met her gaze. Her eyes were bright orange and seemed to burn an even deeper orange from unnatural energy. They were deep and angry, one could have become lost in the natural gravitation she was exuding but if they had lost that much concentration on the physical scenario then they were already dead. She was tapping her fingers together and seemed ready to pounce at any moment when a voice penetrated the falling mist.
“Misha!”
She didn't turn from Ai and Keiori but did allow her eyes to travel to the nurse. They engaged in a staring contest for several moments before the killer aura dropped and her previous tone took back over.
She pointed downward and began enunciating each letter, “I. M. A. R. I-DENKA!!! DEEEENKA WOMAN! Remember it!”
The nurse sighed and wiped her face as if relieved, it seemed Ai and Keiori might have dodged a larger bullet than they realized. She finally removed her hand from Amanoharas eye and told her to sit still, then made her way over to look the group over. She then pointed far across the room to a different bed, it seemed she had no intention of that situation repeating itself.
“Go sit over there and remove your clothes, I'll be there shortly.” She turned to Misha, “Ok Misha, let's do this and be on your way.”
Imari-Denka growled at the nurse who seemed to be refusing to use her honorific.

Heton laughed a bit as Raijin started to want to go wondering. “No offense dude but I don’t want to get lost in this place and die of hunger or something. But..” He paused as he got off the ground and looked at Raijin. “If you want I can teach you a few things about the sword. Granted your not going to master it in a few minutes and I only know a bit.. Sounds like fun?” He said putting his hand on the hilt of his blade. “Though seeing as we don’t have any Boken then lets just use our sheaths.”
If Raijin had wanted to learn a thing about the sword then Heton was going to instruct him on a simple stance and basics on when to strike. Of course if he didn’t it wasn’t a big deal for he would soon be learning that and a hell of a lot more. However they wouldn’t have but a few minutes to do anything as the guide motioned for them.
Heton walked into the group, glad to finally be able to get some rest. However he was simply awestruck at how complex the way to get to his dorm really was. Where they honestly expected to somehow remember all of this? There where hardly any signs to guide them to the dorms! One day Heton might actually get lost and die of hunger in this place...
However when there guides jumped into a military stance at the presence of Senpai Kuatara Heton went into a super sloppy salute giving the man a puzzling look. But as it turned out they he simply was there to collect there Zanpakutos. Heton handed his away before poking one of the guides on the shoulder. “Do we have to go somewhere to pick them up or do we just get them at our first class or something like that?” He asked unsure of the way this sanitarium worked.
But as they went up the stairs to the dorms there guards ran away leaving them with a super happy guy, and five less happy guys, started handing them all “sucker” hats. Honestly.. Who would actually wear the “#1 Sucker” hat.. But then there came the one thing Heton wanted more then rest. Foood. Succulent delicious food. Wonderful, heavenly food. He quickly put his hat on and ran inside before dining on the food. “so good..’ He whispered as he ate.

Ai looked at all of the wooden splinters stuck in Keiori’s back, and wondered how zoned out she really was if she was now noticing that. “You might want to get those splinters pulled out too, that’s going to get infected if you leave it, and that’s just messy in a bad way.” Pus was definitely the nastiest thing she had ever had to experience bodily-wise.
Suddenly, her body tensed up, and her hands instinctively flew towards her sword, even as she shifted her gaze back to Princess-san, the death glare she was receiving quite unsurprising – she was more than used to that by now, and it just made it easier to identify people that had potential, from the others that weren’t worth her time. It was attached to something new though, that reiatsu that was washing over her, caressing her with the promise of certain death. While taking up the princess was tempting, she was well aware that she couldn’t hope to fight anyone that spent any considerable amount of time here yet. It didn’t look like Princess was giving them a choice though.
Fortunately, the nurse stepped in, and the princess reverted to her less bloodthirsty mode. The nurse quickly sent the two of them to the other side of the room, while she went to work on what the princess called an injury. Meanwhile, Ai moved on to her other problem; she really needed a decent weapon.
“Hey Keiori, can you come along with me to the blacksmith after this?”

Keiori was sitting seemingly lost in thought. She was trying to think of a good way to deal with the injuries on her back, her initial thought was to use the kosode as a band-aid but she then realized she needed to get the splinters out first... She was so used to always being alone the obvious answer of asking Ai to remove them for her wasn't considered in her currently semi-dazed state. Because of this she didn't really pay attention to Ai's comment though somewhere deep inside that thick skull of hers Keiori probably registered it, perhaps that was why she was reminded of the splinters all together... Either way, she didn't get far in her "planning" before a feeling of bloody murder washed over her.
Keiori instantly jerked her head up to search for the source of the bad feeling she was getting, it reminded her too much of that time she had run into some guy who had been nicknamed "The Black Death", some asshole who jumped from district to district murdering people seemingly at random. Some had theorized it was a shinigami that enjoyed hunting weaker people, though Keiori hadn't paid it much mind until she almost had her left arm sliced off, that had been tough to deal with...
Because of this she was surprised to find the spoiled brat of a princess to be the source of this malicious killing aura and if the reiatsu pressing down on her currently weakened self hadn't been enough to actually make her a bit scared she may have laughed. Instead she sat quietly while maintaining eye-contact, or as much eye-contact as was possible with the girl trying to stare both of them down at the same time, without really giving away or making any attempts to take her up on the challenge. Luckily she didn't have to do anything as the nurse came to break up the imminent massacre by yelling the girls name 'Misha', something which apparently shifted the girls anger from them to the nurse, though Keiori was still confused as to why she had been a target of the girl as well, she didn't remember saying or doing anything that would have insulted her... Either way the nurse soon told Ai and Keiori to go to the other side of the room, to which she couldn't agree more as she grabbed her kosode that rested on her lap before she stood up and strolled through the room while glancing back at Misha a few times like if she was afraid the girl would suddenly pounce them.
Once there she sat down on a new bed and did as the nurse had asked of her and removed the shitagi as well, exposing her blood stained back with a wide and (mostly) white bandage-like piece of cloth being wrapped around her torso. The wounds themselves weren't as bad as they may have looked at first glance due to the blood having been smeared out from all the movement she had made after receiving the injuries however, regardless it did show she wasn't in tip-top shape though it also exposed several old scars she had received in Rukongai, like a rather large one that seemed to encompass half of her left arm just over the elbow.
Having removed the Shitagi she turned her back to Ai and though she was about to ask her of a favor of sorts Ai spoke first, asking Keiori to follow her to the blacksmith after they were done here. While Keiori had wanted to stay to look after Amanohara and Jim, she guessed that if Ai needed to go see the blacksmith then that meant her blade must have been completely wrecked in that last battle... She couldn't very well let her walk around without a means of defending herself, besides she wasn't exactly in her best condition either even if her wounds were to be healed magically. "Uhm, sure I don't mind. Though could you do me a favor and tell me if this is as bad as I think it is?" She asked, suggesting her back before continuing "Sorry to ask this of you... But could you help me remove the splinters? I can't reach back there too good..." She seemed almost reluctant to ask for help, though this all came back to her core personality.

Ai looked on with quite blatant fascination as she took on Keiori's battle scars from Rukongai. Or maybe she got some of those while living.....was that even possible? She wasn't particularly sure how the whole passing on thing worked for people born on earth. Well what she could see that the giant cloth wasn't blocking anyway. The fact that it was still white was enough to show that her injuries weren't that bad though, so why was she zoned out for so long? Hmm......hey, that was a cool scar on her shoulder, looked like someone tried to cut off her arm.A large smile resembling a child with their favorite toy grew on her face, as she scanned Keiori for anymore interesting marks.
Of course it didn't register to Ai that most people would be at least a little uncomfortable if someone kept staring at them like they were going to glomp them, and until Keiori agreed to help her and asked her to check her back, she really felt no reason to stop. Of course, Ai had no problems with the request; she couldn't see her back from here anyway, and sneak attacks left some better scars usually. So her agreeing with her first show of genuine happiness was to be expected as far as she was concerned.
Unfortunately, the blood smudging her back made it quite difficult to pick out anything interesting. Granted, she had no problems with the blood, but still more interesting things were afoot, which served to motivate Ai to remove the splinters as fast as possible. "It doesn't look bad, just really uncomfortable." She plucked a splinter, ignoring Keiori's tone; she would be uneasy if someone was out of her sight in such close proximity too, it was simple survival instincts.
Of course, Keiori might have had better reasons to be uncomfortable around her while blood was showing, but Ai had more self control than that. It was a teasing warmth, but there was enough for a simple taste to suffice. "So, where did you get that scar on your arm?"
Ai had neglected to take something into consideration though; a little blood was fine, but the fresh flowing blood that came from her removing all the splinters? It had been awhile since she had last gotten to cut loose.....it was a wonder that she met up with that thief in the outskirts of the 1st District, and that was days ago. It wouldn't hurt if her hands lingered a bit longer than necessary, would it? Or if she happened to........
Ai yanked her hands back with a mighty effort, before she ended up doing something that would get her in trouble here. She grabbed a towel lying around and wrapped it around Keiori's back - while the towel dulled the warmth a bit, at least it gave her an excuse to wrap herself around Keiori and feel more of the heat at once. She really needed a sharp weapon on her......

As much as a joker as Raijin was the sudden though of wearing such a ridiculous hat made him cringe; especially if it came from stereotypical, nerdy, black kid. All he could see was the bandana that was wrapped around the kid's head and then noticed that there was one of the number one sucker hats shoved against his chest. His eye slowly glazed over as he took a glance over it and slowly sighed; figuring what the hell, he took it and put it on. That was when food was mentioned. His stomach gave an immediate lurch and his mouth water causing a small dribble to form at the corner of his lips. A small drop fell and hit the ground as his stomach gave an even louder growl; he hadn’t had anything to eat since that morning. Hunger is a dangerous thing especially when consuming the form of a young man, particularly one who is already hyperactive and so effected to change such as Raijin. The young man’s immediately response was to charge and make his way through the crowd, but he was kind enough to voice his plan to everyone else before he did so.
“BANZAI!!!! OUT OF MY WAY!!!!”
The flaming headed teen, jumped head first through the crowd of people and at one point even proceeded to run on the wall before grabbing the first plate he could get his hands on. His immediate reaction was to tear up fiercely and hold his fist to the sky like some cheerleader. As tears flooded down his cheeks, he screamed out to everyone through a choked voice behind a mountain of food.
“NUMBER ONE SUCKER FOREVER!”
As soon as he finished that, he took his place next to Heton and began eating rapidly in such a way that most would have thought him inhuman. He was like a vacuum of insanity devouring every morsel of food that even neared him, ear bite looked like the size of a mole hill and his jaws stretched to accommodate each. Somehow, he was managing to keep his face entirely clean and not a drop landed on his clothes. Only a small dot of grease from some sort of meat was pressed against the side of his lip and with a simple motion of his tongue it was gone. A moment later, he was leaned back patting a full stomach as he went for a dessert, a bottle of alka sclescer and a napkin.

OOC: TERRIBLY sorry for the time it took for me to write this shitty piece of work... If I haven't posted within three days of my turn next time be sure to prod me, I work better under pressure Perhaps it was exposing her back that unnerved her or perhaps it was just something about this Ai that made her uncomfortable... Nevertheless Ai had asked Keiori to accompany her to the blacksmith after they were done here, and the nurse that no doubt could hand both their asses to them with a stray thought (given the previous displays of power in the academy from mere students she wasn't about to question the power of anyone there) were just a scarce fifteen meters or so away, so she'd be more than a fool to try anything, not that she had a reason to but after her time in Rukongai thoughts like these had become commonplace for Keiori. Though she felt Ai remove each splinter that had been pushed into her back whatever sensation of pain she felt was numbed, almost like if she was drugged but that was not the case, she had simply grown resistant to pain, perhaps it was due to her unnaturally large reiatsu reserves for someone as inexperienced as her or perhaps she had taken one too many beatings to the head... Either way could be true as far as she was concerned. She perked her head up however when Ai told her that while the injuries looked uncomfortable they weren't anything serious, though Keiori simply nodded at this as she didn't really feel much at all other than Ai's hands on her back. She was slightly caught off-guard when the girl asked her about the scar on her left arm however, a 'trophy' from her time in Rukongai and one of the most serious injuries she had sustained there as she had nearly lost her arm, both from the wound itself and from nearly getting it infected as she had been unable to find a person with enough medical knowledge to treat it. "Well, back when I washed up here in Soul Society I ended up in the eastern District 78. Terrible place, really wouldn't advice any woman to go there lest they feel the need to get violated. Anyway... I'd fought the thugs there for many years while trying to survive, though the closest to death I ever came there was when I ran into this psychopath that the beggars and what-not had began calling the "Black Death", due to his love for black clothing and the fact that you never saw more of him than a shadowy blur before someone lay dying on the ground in a pool of blood. Wasn't exactly ready when he showed up in front of me six years ago but thanks to some quick reflexes and my toughness I was able to avoid having my arm chopped off completely at least. Though I think I must have spent two months trying to get it patched up completely again, damn near lost it to infection several times, still took me four more months to get fully recovered and even that's a miracle. Though if I ever see that asshole again I'll be sure to return his favou-" Keiori told her story calmly though the tone of her voice occasionally revealed her anger at these memories, however when she got the the end of her tirade she noticed that Ai had practically hugged her while wrapping a towel around her body, probably with the intent to stop the bleeding the splinters had produced but still... "Uhm... Ai? I uh... What are you doing?" She asked her back arched straight while her face grew beat red, though for once not due to anger and it seemed even her normal level of reiatsu output diminished to near unnoticeable quantities.

So, Keiori was from District 78? Hmm, that was a coincidence. Ai wondered how she managed to never stumble onto the girl, but then, a district was not a small place, and she spent most of her time wandering from area to area, trying to find a way to keep herself in steady supply of her favorite fluid. People started to get too wary when she stayed in one area, and did bothersome things like moving in large groups, it made things considerably troublesome.
This Black Death too, she never heard of him. But then, she never really cared who she fighting, anyone’s blood flowed just as well, and was just as warm when it splattered all over her. Maybe she met the guy, maybe not, but it didn’t matter right now, did it? No, more importantly, she had far better sources of fun here. Well if she could find a way to actually play with them without the teachers finding out and stopping her fun anyway.
For now though, she should focus on explaining why she was latched onto Keiori’s back. Somehow, she didn’t think that the self conscious girl would be pleased if she said that she was trying to coat herself in the warmth of her blood. No, she knew from experience that freaked out people for some reason she couldn’t fathom. Hmm, why else do people hug each other…..well, friends did that right? She thought so anyway. She typically didn’t like physical contact when blood wasn’t involved, but she knew that she wasn’t considered a normal person.
She decided to just stop thinking about it and say whatever came to mind. “Just making sure that I get all of the blood.” It was the truth; she really wanted as much warmth as possible. “Besides, you look like you need a hug. You’re paying attention now instead of looking blank like those people in Rukongai. Cheer up!” Hmm, thinking about it, she was looking like those people. That was unsettling, she didn’t want Keiori getting killed by not paying attention, and fighting those kinds of people was a bit unsatisfying.
Hmm, maybe she should change the subject. “Say Keiori, what’s violated mean?” She had the feeling that like the drug thing, this was something she knew about under a different name.
